So I’ve not posted for a little while as I’ve been real busy with work & some other projects I have going on. As its been a minuet I decided on a new post category ‘My Video Of The Moment’. This clip is crazy, the FPSRussia channel on YouTube has over two & a quarter million subscribers currently, clips like this are why!

Now regardless of how you feel about weapons technology & its progression this invention is impressive. If you take away the reckless weapon use displayed in the video you’ll see extremely advanced technology that’s now available to buy for anyone will to spend that kind of cash. A hover craft controlled buy a computer tablet would have been an alien concept just a decade ago now its on the verge of becoming common place. Leave me a comment & let me know your views. Bless

When I get on my youtube channel and surf my own videos, I think to myself…

“man this is pretty funny. I wish more people could see this and give me feedback so that I can make more, delete or improve. How can I get more traffic?” 

I then begin surfing other people’s channels like this one guy, whom of which his main attraction is that he shoots all different types of guns and has the 17th highest viewed youtube channel. Now, I admit, shooting guns at cars and making them explode is some pretty good sh*# so I can understand falling victim to his channel. What boggles my mind, however,  is when I see videos with the title, “Kid gets bit by his brother” and it has 29 million views and then after watching the video I want to punch someone in the face for having lost those 3 minutes of my life. Even worse is when I see the “suggested videos” box say, “cutest kitten in the world!!!” with 9 billion views and all it is, is a 42 second clip of a cat playing with toilet paper. I want to know what the f*$& is wrong with people, or rather what is wrong with me that I don’t find videos like that entertaining. If I had a cat, which I never would, that decided to jump up on the bathroom counter, meander his way to the top of the toilet tank, and start unraveling the toilet paper directly off the roll, my first thought wouldn’t be, “let me get the camera”. Swatting that fu#*er in to the bathtub and turning on the cold water would be my first thought.

Another thing that bothers me with Youtube and its subscribers is when you’re looking for a specific video of something and you click on a link, only to find that you get a practical joke video, or something completely different and/or irrelevent in order so that you would click on some 14 year old kids youtube channel, showing you a video of his foot and the growth on it. It doesn’t work in reverse, by the way. It only works if you’re a teenager with your parents hijacked laptop, or a 40 year old virgin who disguises his video to look like a busty blonde about to show off a few things but instead it turns out to be him showing off his collection of dolls. I’m sorry… “Action Figures”.

Well, anyway… I guess all I can hope for is that one of my videos finds its way to someone’s smart phone or desktop and they have 4 billion friends on Facebook that they share my video on their wall with, and I get some more traffic. An after thought I have is, “maybe my videos aren’t funny”…  “…” NO WAY!!! are you fuc*&$ing kidding me? My videos are the shizznit. Didn’t you see my “Comfort Wipe” dub?

Oh, and don’t mind the title of it… “The cutest kitten in the world!!!

…What is this… Is this what you people call “music”!?!?!? W-w-w-WHAT? The horror. The pain. My poor ears.. T_T. Okay, there’s so much wrong with this. (Fyi. I found about them from someone else’s blog while I was breaking from studying. Now I regret taking a break…) So this kind of music is called “Crunkcore”. It’s a combination of the worse kinds of hip-hop, pop, and screamo. Then they mix it up like a witch’s brew type thing and theres ghouls everywhere.. Ok no. No. But yeah that’s what this genre is about. Now I am a fan of some screamo (Like I Set My Friends On Fire <3) but otherwise just not intensely. What I fail to understand really is well..

Why? Why would you make something so horrible. And just look at the video.. It’s like.. So disgusting.. Filled with those sluts who apparently enjoy being choked and screamed at simultaneously. Freaking awesome pass-time. And the “singers”. They look like frat-boy scenes.. >_>.. They’re all icky looking with their smoking and drug doing.. And even though them doing drugs isn’t specificly in the video, you’d have to be on drugs to make something stupid like this. And just ew.. Like you readers better love me now XD. I’m taking one for the team! Letting my ears bleed for you guys!

One last thing about them.. Just look at their song “Teach Me How to Scream”… W-Wait is that Pedobear?.. Anyways. It’s basically a Rip-Off of teach me how to dougie >-> and it’s not even good. I mean I know there are parodies of Teach me how to dougie but this is no parody, this is a fail. And it’s so gross just ew.. I was saying “Ew” at the screen the whole time. It’s so disgusting. But that’s all the ear bleeding for today. If you guys want more you better look it up yourself >->! Btw, thanks Joey for going through the Ear Rapture with me. <3

Daft Punk Movie <3

Interstellar 5555 was a great movie actually :o. I loved it <3. It was so happy then sad then sad then happy~. And it was interesting how it was mainly just music as the sound, no voices at all. Which ofcourse since it’s Daft Punk, I totally don’t mind it. Their music makes me happy c:. Especially the cute Digital Love song. I loved that part most, it was so cute~! >_<!Here’s the video with the actual footage from the movie in case you don’t care to watch the whole 68minute movie. Loved it, and it’s pretty worth it.

-sigh- I didn’t really want to post anything about the London riots yet until I really knew about it but for now, I think I’ve read enough news articles and seen enough youtube videos to know just a little bit of what I’m saying. The topic has just really been on my mind and I wanted to say a bit before I forgot about the thoughts I have.

So basically (from the reference of a friend and news posts or whatever.). A drug dealer got killed, the British peeps are searching non-British people now far more because of it, the uneducated derp youths think it has to do with government, then they start trashing and looting up London. -facepalmth..- The sad part is that it’s been going on nonstop since the 8th. Scary yes. Except the police needs to carry some freaking.. AK-47′s instead of their little beating sticks. I mean that’s the only different between the USA’s police and Britians.. We WILL shoot you >-> We won’t hit you with a stick and hope you stay down, we’ll put you down. And sometimes civilians do too.. Though I know, the Londoners.. Londonites.. whatever! They will snap eventually. By will I mean WILL. They will go against their British ways and they’ll all just start carrying guns and begin “Kill on Sight”ing every single riot/looter in the city.

So yeah, good luck London. It’s a war-zone out there now but.. Just call like.. FPSRussia (<3) and a few MLG Black Ops-ers and you’ll be perfectly fine c: <3. Stay safe!

This mantra is applicable to every creative art or any creation of your own doing. It poses an interesting question, as journalists who do we write for? Obviously I only have my motivations to write so I can only assume that others have the same motivations. This shares some similarities to the philosophical zombie theory. While journalism is not creative writing aspiring journalists must have some passion for writing or else they would not want to enter the profession. When I’m writing I feel my best work is produced when my subconscious is doing the work, in fact this is how I produce most of my academic work. When I am stuck I will stop all together and load up Black Ops and kill dudes for half an hour, keeping in mind the obstacle I am trying to over come. Then an Epiphany will light my way. Quite often my subconscious is self indulgent beyond measure, I have to admit that I enjoy writing  the most when I am please the way a particular sentence sounds. I have no issue accepting this, as I write for myself and the pleasure it brings me.

I found journalism a stark comparison to my usual method of writing. Which is why I enjoy it so much. I am writing to convey information to a broad audience. So lately I have been uttering the words, “Murder your darlings” to myself when writing. It has yet to work but I am persistent and hope to transcend the plain of self indulgence.

But that still doesn’t answer my question. I am sleeping, I promise. I been sleeping like a normal person should. And randomly I keep hearing a ringtone like my alarm clock going off. I use my phone as an alarm and I keep hearing this distorted sound of it going off. I just don’t understand. I am so tired I can’t even focus much. I think I’ve been trying to write this post for like 10 minutes or so.

And there goes another 5 minutes or so. Ironically the only thing that keeps going through my mind is me trying to figure out if the guy known as FPSRussia is really Russian. Ha as if I can actually tell if his accent is real or not! And then randomly thinking that I wouldn’t care if he didn’t have the actual accent but then I change my mind in an instant and yeah, I would care. I like him mostly because of that, the guns and explosives and being a gamer is just a bonus.

God I need some R&R. I am much too tired for any kind of mental activity…

In that time I, and every other PSN user (about 70 million of us apparently, which is more than the entire population of the UK) have been cut off from the life blood of gaming. The world is at an end and the sun never shines any longer. Well, that’s how some people have been viewing the situation.

I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed II instead. I hadn’t actually intended on playing it as much as I have but I found that none of my save points were on my PS3. I don’t know whether it’s down to not being able to connect to PSN or because I’m using a new PS3 (although I could have sworn that the machine I’m on now was the one I used when playing the game before….).

But anyhoo, it’s been good fun as I forgot how involving and frustrating the early levels were. Involving because having read The Prince I could see where the plot was going, although honestly, you don’t have to be a master tactician to have worked out what was going to happen. Actually, a mediocre level of intelligence would probably have seen you through. And the frustration came from not being able to run in order to get through the Aspergo levels quicker, or being able to skip cut scenes, or being able to kick Shaun Hastings (played by Danny Wallace) in the groin.

Having oodles of hours already invested in the game (and the original before it) I found the ‘tutorial’ levels that make up the beginning to be quite enjoyable to play again. I just can’t wait to get back on a horse and start running fools over again. Driveby with a warhorse? Achievement Unlocked!

I may record some gameplay of it since I’m pretty much back to the start, but right now I’ve got quite a lurgical sore throat, so no commentaries from me for the time being.

While PSN has been down and I’ve had time to start on my way to looking at gaining some revenue from my online activities as I previously mused about in another post. After getting some excellent advice from both drunkindunkin and donncha I’ve launched BackslashGaming.com:

Basically it’s a more serious version of this blog. I’m going to continue blogging here about my personal gaming exploits, videos I put on YouTube and stuff relating to The Gamer’s Craic podcast. BackslashGaming is going to be more concerned with what’s happening in the gaming world. This means that currently most of the posts on there are related to the current PSN outage and the shitstorm that’s following it.

There are adverts on there which I hope are not too intrusive (staying away from popups, popunders and related doucheworthy tactics as they offend me). So if you enjoy my writing then have a look.

Lastly…. does anyone know why my post about FPSRussia getting his channel back would be getting so many hits at the moment? I’ve googled FPSRussia and this blog is not on the first page so I can only assume that it’s been linked from somewhere else.

Last week, or so, FPSRussia on YouTube was deleted. I assumed that the channel had been removed in order to prevent Spetznas operations from being compromised. But no, it turns out that it was “hacked”.

“Hacked” is probably the wrong word to use as in most cases there’s no hacking involved, only weak or obvious passwords. But I digress. FPSRussia is back, and I think two things are fairly obvious to everyone now:

1 – If you “hack” someone’s channel/account/email/lunch box it’s probably best if you do it through a million bounced fake accounts and identities because you WILL leave a trail (and where the trail ends, legal or actual pain usually begins).

2 – FPSRussia is obviously a clone of FPSKyle. Either that or his father was a deep cover CIA operative in Moss Cow.

Dasvidaniya comrades. May your goat brides be plentiful.
