I have recently been looking for great online games. Why? Because I don’t have a PS3 and I have work all the time. Hence I needed a game that would allow me to work and play at the same time. Something enjoyable and fun that would get me talking to people and enjoy myself during my hectic work times. My Screen Name in the game is Aquarious.

One of my friends recently invited me to a game called Evony (http://www.evony.com/). I remember playing strategy games but Evony was awesome. It gave me all the entertainment I needed.

I love building up my city now. Waiting for people to attack me so I can defend…and then going over to their towns and attacking them back. I realized how much fun the game Evony really is when I joined an alliance. A place where other Lords would come together, attack together, defend together.

I remember building my first army and marching into a town, tearing it down and plundering it…But again I was new and my enemy quickly retaliated and took my army down. It took me a few minutes to rebuild my army and it has been fun ever since.

Based on the experience I have had with the game Evony (http://www.evony.com/) the best way for beginners to start is to follow the quests. However my alliance members have taught me well and I have evolved my city to having 10 barracks and 10 cottages. (Barracks are a place where you can make troops and with cottages you can get huge populations).

Huge populations are good because they make up your labor force and your army. If your population is too less, then your resources are not coming in quickly. Resource buildings are built outside the town and are important for making city buildings, troops, fortifications and research.

Research is done in the academy and can progress your city, give you smarter troops, faster production rates and faster travelling. When I started I researched the 4 basic things that are Agriculture, Lumbering, Masonry & Mining. These upgrades will give you faster resource production hence faster town building. It is also important to research informatics and archery to a high level. These things are good when you are scouting a city or a valley (informatics) or when someone attacks you (archery).

High archery gives your archer towers and archers a longer range giving you a considerable advantage over players you attack & players who attack you.

We are just announcing that our first development, a game, “BoomingBang Alpha V1″ will be released on October 31,2009. The game will be released for the testers to test the game and find any compilation AND/OR Functional errors.

The game is initially designed for One Laptop Per Child Foundation’s XO laptop, but work in Linux, Windows and Mac too. But the Windows version will be supported till only ONE(1) year after its release, in due course, other versions will also be released. Linux support is 3 years and Mac version comes with no support as any of us don’t have Apple Macintosh machines.

I only recommend downloading ALPHA V2 after the verification process is completed.
