Once you have figured out what your interests are and have done the research on it to see if it is monetarily viable, then you can proceed to the next steps.  Remember that all of the next steps are to be completed only when you have figured out what niche you would like to get into.

Step 5:  Sign up with at least 2 of the article directories and 2 of the major social networking sites.  This is how you are going to advertise your niche.  If you are unsure as to what article directories to use then sign up with ezinearticles.com and one other.  The social networking sites that I recommend are facebook, myspace and twitter.

Step 6:  You will need an autoresponder.  I highly recommend that you go ahead and sign up with a FREE account to Fireball Autoresponder. It is highly reputable and it is extremely easy to use.  It does the job nicely and also gives you tracking capabilities.

Step 7:  Once you have uploaded your minisite creation into your FREE hosting account you can begin to advertise your new site and start to send traffic to it as well.  You do this by posting articles into the article directories that you have signed up with, and also telling your friends on your social networking sites that you have joined.  Be careful though when you are advertising on the social networking sites.  You must do it in a way that is not intrusive to your friends, if you are not careful you can begin to see a decline in your friends from these social networking sites.

Step 8:  Set up your new autoresponder account to fit with your new minisite. If you have decided to give away a FREE report that is related to your niche you are going to want to make sure that you have requested that your potential customers are double-opt-ins.  This protects both you and the recipient of the product you are sending to their email address from spamming. You are also going to want to make sure that you have at least 20 messages in your autoresponder account first before any marketing.  Make sure that it is loaded with valuable information and periodically send out an affiliate link or two but no more than 2 links a month to start with.  There is nothing worst then signing up with someone who all they do is advertise their links for you to buy.

Finally just repeat the steps about adding articles to your blog and uploading articles to your article directories.  This will generate more long term traffic generation to your new site.  Don’t forget to digg, stumble, and bookmark every page that you publish on the internet.  The more you do then the more others will be able to share and post about it.
