Now the player supports HTML based Post rolls and Pre-rolls.
Now you can send your HTML ads in xml format to show them within the player… The XML format should have the HTML tags in character code format…

Here are the featureslist of Ripe FLVPlayer:

Supports set of flash media files (.flv):
This Ripe Flvplayer supports a sequence of multiple flash video files. You can get this feature working by simply adding the video files path in the xml. Each video will be played one after another by the order you have given in the xml.
Custom Pre/Post/Mid rolls:
This feature lets you to show the customized flash ads or image ads in the player at start/end of the video in the player. The midrolls will be displayed just above the control bar where you can show the text advertisement of your own.
Free Skins:
The free package will have two more simple skins and you can change the skins in the xml. You will be provided with Source files of the skins and you can edit the skins as you like.
Easy XML Configurations:
The xmls that Ripe player used are very simple and you can generate them dynamically with php/asp or using some other scripts. Each and Every tag is very simple to understand the configurations.
Featured/Related Video list:
This Ripe FLVPlayer allows you to show the related or Featured videos at the end of the videos. This list is simply from the xml and makes you easy to edit them or make it dynamically.
Email, Embed Code and Video link:
This feature reduces your work html works in your video sharing scripts and lets your user to have these three options inside the player. The only work you have is to add the necessary details and information in the settings xml which is related with this feature.
Supports wide range of protocol types:
Ripe player supports almost all kind of streaming servers.
Dynamic auto Alignment for various dimensions:
Ripe player can set to any dimension but with some restriction of minimum dimension about 250×250.
Slow motion video options:
Ripe player supports slow motions of videos.
Debug Mode to notify the errors:
A default debug window will be triggered inside the player whenever you try a wrong/invalid settings and it will also explain you the problem/mistakes you have done with the settings xmls.
Keyboard Shortcuts for various controls:
Ripe player has some keyboard shortcuts for important controls like play, pause, mute, toggle fullscreen, etc.
Wide range of JS controls for various actions and flexible:
Ripe player supports JS script interaction for some important controls like play, pause, mute, changing the video files, getting the video durations, and etc.
More flashvars support for almost all the controls:
Ripe player can be easily integrated with html by simply using the flashvars and no need of changing the basic xmls. It supports most of controls though flashvars settings.
Video subtitles from xml:
This feature can be integrated with the player by using a separate xml which should contain the captions and time of the captions.
Swfobject.js support:
Swfobject.js is free JS file which is used to embed the flash object into the html so that we can avoid the activex control problem in IE. This file can be found in the product package.
Dockable video title over the player:
The video title can be shown in the player at the top/bottom of the player.

What is Winamp??

Winamp is a skinnable, multi-format media player. Winamp supports a wide variety of contemporary and specialized music file formats, including MIDI, MOD, MPEG-1 audio layers 1 and 2, AAC, M4A, FLAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis, and Windows Media Audio. It supports gapless playback for MP3 and AAC, and Replay Gain for volume leveling across tracks. Winamp adalah “standar de-facto” atau aplikasi wajib ada di setiap komputer. Sebagai pemutar lagu sepuh dan berjaya sampai kini dengan jumlah pemakai lebih dari 50 juta di seluruh dunia, tidaklah berlebihan jika ia dinobatkan sebagai “kakek” pemutar MP3.

Sayangnya Winamp versi terbaru (v5.x) semakin lama semakin berat. Ukurannya membengkak, “polesan tebal” kosmetik antar-muka di sana-sini dan sejumlah fitur canggih yang jarang digunakan oleh pengguna akhir berimbas pada borosnya konsumsi tenaga CPU (processor) dan ruang memori. Pemutar audio ini seakan lupa akan tugas utamanya.

Bila komputer tua yang sedang dipakai sekarang terseok-seok menjalankan Winamp sambil bekerja, berilah kesempatan pada salah satu pemutar audio alternatif di bawah ini. Mereka bisa diandalkan karena telah memenuhi seleksi dengan kriteria berikut: harus ringan, harus gratis dan harus portabel.

1. 1by1
Lupakan playlist! Tunjukkan 1by1 sebuah directory berisi file MP3 dan ia akan memainkannya satu per satu. Ukurannya super kecil, hanya 80KB! Tubuh kecilnya memuat beberapa fitur seperti dukungan terhadap plugin Winamp, cross fading, equalizer mini (3 band), audio enhancer sederhana dan kemampuan manjemen file (copy/move/delete).

2. Apollo
Pemutar audio ini datang dalam paket berukuran 673KB dan cukup kaya fitur. Apollo mempunyai decoder suara yang sangat baik untuk format MP2/MP3, dukungan terhadap plugins Winamp v2.x, 16-band equalizer grafis, kemampuan internet streaming, cross fading antar lagu, dan decoding ke WAV. Cukup lengkap untuk audio player sekecil ini.

3. Billy
Billy dirancang serba minimalis sehingga hemat memori dan sangat efisien dalam penggunaan tenaga CPU. Billy bekerja super cepat mendaftar lagu-lagu yang berada di folder musik. Antar-mukanya juga sangat sederhana, hanya berisi tampilan daftar lagu dengan durasinya. Billy tidak perlu diinstal, cukup diekstrak dan jalankan. Uniknya semua aspek Billy bisa dimainkan dengan keyboard. “Dietkan” Billy dan file DLL pendukung dengan UPX dan kita akan mendapatkan pemutar audio terefisien berukuran sekitar 360KB.

4. CoolPlayer
Paket Coolplayer hanya berisi 1 buah file, file eksekusi Coolplayer itu sendiri. Program opensource ini berukuran cukup besar (sekitar 500KB), tapi bisa dikecilkan dengan UPX menjadi setengahnya. Coolplayer juga sangat hemat tenaga CPU sewaktu memainkan MP3. Pengoperasian dan tampilannya mirip Winamp.

5. Evil Player
Pemutar audio “setan” ini cocok diberi predikat sebagai “Pemutar audio paling efisien dalam penggunaan memori.” Bila diminimize, EvilPlayer hanya memakai memori sekitar 1.5MB saat memainkan lagu berformat MP3, OGG, WAV, MOD atau AIFF di latar. Selain itu ia juga mendukung audio stream di internet. Walau cuma perlu diekstrak dan jalankan, terdapat banyak file pendukung di dalamnya (terutama file bahasa). Ukuran total setelah diekstrak lebih kurang 600KB.

6. Soprano
Soprano adalah pemutar audio paling minimalis yang lebih suka “duduk” di system tray dan memainkan semua daftar lagu yang diberikan padanya. Tidak ada setting apapun di dalamnya. Bahkan untuk mengumpankan file lagu harus menggunakan drag-drop! Cukup merepotkan bila tidak terbiasa. Tapi bayangkan situasi berikut, sebuah komputer tua dengan memori 128 MB yang sengaja difungsikan sebagai jukebox nada “call-waiting” telepon. Tugas utamanya hanyalah memainkan file-file audio yang ada di daftar. Ukurannya cukup kecil dengan beberapa file pendukung. Sama seperti EvilPlayer, Soprano juga sangat efisien dalam penggunaan memori.

7. SysTrayPlay
Awalnya dikembangkan di tahun 2000 oleh Youris Strous, seorang programmer berkebangsaan Russia yang kemudian diterlantarkan pada tahun 2001. SysTrayPlay (STP) lalu dilanjutkan pengembangannya oleh seorang programmer Prancis sampai saat ini. STP seperti Soprano, dibuat untuk “mojok” di system tray sesuai dengan namanya. STP cukup kecil, hanya 200-an KB. Sayangnya STP agak boros penggunaan memori. Mungkin karena beberapa fitur tambahan yang tertanam di dalamnya seperti pemutar CD dengan dukungan CDDB.

8. VUPlayer
Bila membutuhkan pemutar audio yang gampang dioperasikan, cobalah VUPlayer. Lihat saja, tampilan dan susunan menunya sangat rapi. Dijamin semua orang bisa mengoperasikannya dalam waktu singkat. Tapi bukan itu saja kelebihannya, VUPlayer adalah pemutar audio multi-format yang mampu memainkan MP3, S3M, MP4, OGG, FLAC, AIFF, WMA, WAV, MIDI dan beberapa format audio lainnya. VUPlayer datang dengan installer 1.6MB namun bisa digunakan secara portabel dengan menyalin hasil instalasi ke flashdisk misalnya.

9. Xion
Xion adalah pemutar audio paling fungky sekaligus terbongsor dalam daftar ini. Paketnya berukuran 1,7 MB dan hasil ekstrak sekitar 2.5 MB. Fiturnya cukup standar seperti dukungan plugin, equalizer 10 band, visualisasi grafis dan internet streaming. Kelebihan utamanya ada pada kemudahan merancang dan modifikasi skin. Hanya perlu menggambar dan simpan dalam format PSD tanpa perlu memotong gambar atau belajar script terlebih dahulu.

10. XMPlay
Dibuat oleh pengembang yang sama dengan BASS, library audio yang terkenal efisien dalam manajemen sumber daya. XMPlay adalah salah satu pemutar audio dengan dukungan format audio yang cukup banyak. Fiturnya seperti gapless playback, equalizer 9 band, internet streaming, automatic gain control, output ke WAV, skins, dan visualisasi. Semua ini hanya memerlukan tempat penyimpanan sebesar 380KB saja.

ALLCoverFlow ™ – This is the new feature in ALLPlayer. It allows you to create 3D menu from any video and then display it on any television receiver in full screen mode.

This feature is working with the video editor – ALLContainer ™, which allows  automatically create chapters with screenshots or individual files on your hard disk. It let also getting subtitles in any language, album covers and the description of the movie.

Thanks to  OSD, ALLCoverFlow ™ display shows video clips on your TV. Simply press on the remote key  to select AVI MENU in  OSD and start  the 3D menu.

Guide – How to enable ALLCoverFlow ™

Step 1: Fire up the movie (ALLPlayer adds the cover and description).

Step 2: Pick the left side of the screen using the mouse cursor or a universal remote control – AVI MENU

Aprašysiu ko gero geriausia grotuvą pasaulyje, teigsite jog tai winamp’as?

Gal jis ir populeresnis, bet tikrai nėra geresnis.

Foobar2000 yra nemokamas, freeware audio grotuvas, suderintas su Windows XP ir Vista, bei sukurtas Peter Pawlowski’o kuris dirba Nullsoft kompanijoje. Grotuve pristatoma minimalistine grafika ir valdymas. Ir turi labai daug privalumų, kuriuos stengsiuosi išvardinti straipsnio gale.

Pats su šiuo grotuvu pažystamas jau apie metus laiko ir dar neturėjau nė vieno nesusipratimo beje jis visiškai pakeitė mano nuomonę apie prieš tai buvusius muzikinius grotuvus. Dabar ne tik aš naudoju šį grotuvą, bet ir visi mano pažystami mielai atsisako ir keičia savo senus grotuvus į foobar2000.

Pats grotuvas kompiuterio “resursu” naudoja minimaliai, tad nereikia jokių specialių parametrų. Foobar2000 yra suderintas su visais įmanomais muzikos failų tipais MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA, WMA. Taipogi suderintas su Last.fm, foosic, ir apple ipod’u. Grotuvas skaito net iš Zip ar Rar archivatorių. O jeigu norėsite, galėsite suderinti su dar daugiau failu..

Pats grotuvas yra pilnai “Unicode” tad galite ji koreguoti pats. Dauguma žmonių prikuria įvairių patobulinimu kurios galėsite integruoti prie savo grotuvo be jokiu rūpesčių.

Grotuvas priema maksimalius aukštus kaip 96 kHz iki 32 bits garsus. O pagerinti garso kokybei yra triukšmo slopinimas ir filtravimas.

Grotuve itin lengva kurti playlistus (taipogi jis suderintas ir su kitų grotuvų playlistais), nes jame yra speciali “tabbed” funkcija kuri leidžia juos kurti ir koreguoti vienu paspaudimu.

Foobar2000 menių ir išvaizda yra keičiama itin lengvai, taipogi pilna jau paruoštų “skinų”. Pats grotuvas gali ne tik groti muzikinius failus, bet ir konvertuoti jų formatą bei įrašyti muzikinius failus į kompaktą. Taipogi su keičiamais klavietūros sutrumpinimais grotuvo valdymas pasidaro dar lengvesnis. Manau neišvardinau nei puse tiek kiek šis grotuvas sugeba, tad primigtinai siūlau jį atsisiūsti ir išmėginti patiems.

Играет AVI, MPG, MPEG, DAT, WMV, ASF форматы. Для того, чтобы проиграть DVD мне пришлось скачать и установить предложенные плеером кодеки MPEG-2 Codec и AC3Filter.
