<p>O Hummer assombrou o mundo na primeira guerra do Golf, nos anos 90. Foi considerado a reinvenção do Jeep, que ajudou os aliados a ganhar a Segundo Guerra Mundial.</p>
<p>Mais tarde a GM lançou três versões do Hummer para o uso civil. No começo até fez suceso, mas depois com o aumento do preço do petróleo e a defesa de carros mais ecológicos fez as vendas cairem drasticamente.</p>
<p>A Hummer acabou vendida para a fabricante chinesa Tengzhong e este ano as vendas dispencaram. Até agora somente 8.500 unidades foram vendidas, uma diminuição de 64% em relação a 2008.</p>

<p>Porém, os chineses não entraram no negócio para perder dinheiro e querem voltar ao nivel de 25 mil carros vendidos já em 2010. O novo chefe da marca, Jim Taylor, revelou ao Automotive News que em três anos a Hummer irá lançar os novos H4 e H5.</p>
<p>O H4, será baseado no conceito HX  e suas dimensões serão semelhantes as de um Wrangler. Já o H5 deverá ser um pequeno utilitário esportivo para brigar com o Freelander, da Land Rover. Como eu disse antes, os chineses não entraram no negócio para perder dinheiro.</p>

<p>Dead End Road. Et bien voilà, s&#8217;en est fini du Freelander après 10 ans de bons et loyaux services&#8230; Franchement, j&#8217;ai adoré cette caisse qui a toujours démarrée au quart de tour et qui nous a accompagnée dans biens des délires, par tous les temps et sur bien des terrains. Avec 250 000 bornes au compteur, il y a de quoi raconter. En quelques mots clefs, le baby range est : robuste, hyper pratique, top confortable, modulable. Bref, c&#8217;est avec un petit pincement au coeur que je viens de le lâcher à un marchand pour une poignée de cerises. Mais le côté positif est qu&#8217;il va sans doute vivre une seconde belle vie&#8230; en Lithuanie. Direction Vilnius !</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>A Land Rover iniciou a comercialização da linha 2010 do utilitário-esportivo compacto Freelander II. O modelo, vendido aqui desde 2007, é o mais vendido da marca no país e, por isso, recebeu novidades para se manter atraente. Seus preços variam entre R$ 132 mil e R$ 169 mil.</p>
<p><!--more-->Agora, o Freelander II passa a contar com assentos com oito níveis de jautes elétricos, couro de diferente textura e nova opção de cores. O quadro de instrumentos agora tem relógio digital. Todas as versões trazem tração nas quatro rodas e sistema Terrain Response, que configura o motor para atuar automaticamente em terrenos diferentes. O modelo traz também nove airbags, controle de estabilidade e vários sistemas de auxílio: frenagem em curvas, tração, distribuição de frenagem, descida em declives, etc.</p>
<p>Além disso, o SUV traz ar-condicionado de duas zonas, teto solar panorâmico, retrovisores fotocromáticos e com rebatimento elétrico, sensores de estacionamento e de chuva e lavadores para os faróis. A versão SE oferece ainda faróis bixenônio de série.</p>
<p>O motor 3.2 de seis cilindros e 233 cv (6.300 rpm) foi mantido. A transmissão é automática, de seis marchas. De acordo com a Land Rover, o Freelander acelera de 0 a 100 km/h em 8,9 segundos e chega a 200 km/h. O consumo médio é de 8,9 km/l.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Un corteo di turisti polacchi, con piccoli piatti blu e gialli in mano, sfilava davanti alle lunghe vetrine dove fumavano le specialità nazionali croate uscite dalla pentola, da griglie, da microonde. Due pullman immatricolati a Cracovia erano parcheggiati all&#8217;uscita dalla stazione di servizio, i loro autisti, rimasti a fianco dei veicoli, fumavano e li guardavano. Indossavano uniformi verdi, come gli ufficiali di un vecchio esercito. Si vedeva che non avevano alcuna fretta, disponevano di tutto il tempo e attendevano quello che bisognava, la Polonia era ancora lontana. I viaggiatori, da parte loro, sollevavano i coperchi in vetro e si impossessavano di cotolette impanate, di <em>sarma</em>, di <em>pašticada</em>, di <em>moussaka</em>, di <em>grenadimarš</em>, di <em>ćevapi</em> raggelati nel loro olio che facevano pensare a riviere ghiacciate nel nord del Paese durante l&#8217;inverno del 1940, poi delle <em>sarma</em> di cavolo cappuccio, pasta cotta o brasata, cordons-bleus di Zagabria e strudel alle ciliegie. Prendevano tutto in piccola quantità e lo disponevano sui piatti: due o tre piatti sul vassoio per alcuni, perché uno solo non poteva contenere tutte le buone cose croate che, durante le loro settimane passate a Vodice o a Rogozina, questi polacchi avevano apprezzato. Le avevano talmente apprezzate che attualmente &#8211; dopo la gita a Medjugorje, Mostar e Sarajevo, per la quale rimandavano un po&#8217; il ritorno a casa -, e per quaranta misurabili kune a testa, si gettavano con entusiasmo su quello che restava ancora di croato in questo ristorante sulla strada per Cracovia e Varsavia, verso il loro inferno personale, un altro inverno ancora cui sopravvivere e nel corso del quale risparmiare per potere, l&#8217;anno seguente, ritornare al mare, in Croazia &#8211; ah, la nostra bella Croazia dove, fin dal mattino, pezzi di maiale o vitello sono cotti o brasati, riscaldati per la settima od ottava volta al vapore o al forno, nell&#8217;olio rancido o in padella con dello strutto, da questi calorosi slavi del sud, per offrirli ai loro invitati del nord, come sola particolarità che giunge da altrove ad imporsi sul loro substrato di croatitudine. Gli slavi del nord, grazie a Dio, si farcivano di tutto questo, esattamente come i tedeschi e i francesi, perché credono ciecamente ai loro ospiti, anche quando l&#8217;indomani si ritrovano coperti di orticaria dalla testa ai piedi, a forza di inghiottire olio rancido o maiale macerato che si direbbe riesumato di recente da una fossa locale, quella dove i serbi hanno gettato i croati o quella dove i croati hanno gettato i serbi; i turisti, ad ogni modo, se ne fregano altamente perché, di fronte al mare Adriatico e alla più bella costa del mondo, tutta a pizzi, di fronte a questo paradiso terrestre, chi vorrebbe sapere chi, durante l&#8217;ultima carneficina, abbia sgozzato di più, tra i serbi ed i croati? Anche così, totalmente ignoranti della storia locale, i turisti sanno però molto bene che il carattere degli slavi del sud costringe questi ultimi a non dimenticare mai di vendicarsi e che i debiti odierni saranno pagati col sangue fra cinquant&#8217;anni, come quelli di cinquat&#8217;anni fa sono stati pagati ieri. Proprio come le questioni di sangue non saranno mai risolte in modo giusto, la macelleria slava non terminerà mai, a immagine dell&#8217;eterno riscaldamento della carne di maiale e di vitello cotta a fuoco lento delle specialità nazionali croate. Durante tutta la lunga ed eroica storia croata, non è mai successo che una cotoletta impanata finisse nella pattumiera.</p>

<p> When a Land Rover insider from the UK told us that the Freelander 2 will go anywhere the Defender can on their own proving ground, albeit a little slower, we thought he might have been a little too enthusiastic for his own good.After 24 hours behind the wheel of this baby Land Rover in seriously hard-core four-wheel-drive terrain, negotiating all kinds of nasty stuff, including deep mud ruts in torrential rain, we can assure you he is one hundred percent on the money, this is a remarkably capable off-roader.</p>

<p> You forget how well this thing tackles both suburbia and freeways, its front and rear coil-sprung struts are uniquely calibrated to provide a comfortable ride regardless of whether you are powering through a twisty mountain stretch or running the gauntlet of Sydney?s potholes.</p>

<p> Put that down to a body, which is almost twice as stiff as some competitors. You can feel that torsional rigidity as you push hard into some sweeping bends, there?s a lot of refinement and very little body roll.</p>
<p> I?m a huge fan of this 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine and its 400Nm of torque, with half of that available from 1000rpm to 4500rpm.</p>

<p> There?s never any jarring through to the supremely well-designed pews either, that?s all five of them. Lots of support and back friendly is how I would describe them. That?s not surprising, given the front seat frames are similar to those in the upmarket, Range Rover Sport.</p>

<p> I know it?s an SUV, but on the tarmac it feels more car-like in the way it both rides and handles general suburban duties.</p>
<p> I?m not a fan of overly light or too sensitive steering, it can ruin the driving experience, but there?s none of that with the Freelander, it&#8217;s just well weighted and responsive, and a joy to drive.  Easy to park too, with just 2.6 turns to lock, making it exceptionally manoeuvrable in tight spots.</p>

<p> In reality, we?ve covered all this in previous long term reports on the Freelander 2, but what we haven?t yet talked about is our off road testing with this vehicle, and I don?t mean the dirt driveway to your nanna?s country property.</p>

<p> I?ve driven up here previously but never in a soft-roader, only larger more serious four-wheel-drive machines dare to tread in these parts.</p>

<p> This was going to fun, a veritable muddy quagmire in a suburban SUV with standard fit road tyres.</p>
<p> At least we had big brother around, in the form of a Land Rover Discovery as an escort, just in case it all went horribly wrong.</p>

<p> It had rained cats and dogs all night long, so there were plenty of deep puddles &#8211; make that water holes &#8211; around, but that didn?t worry the Freelander 2, with its 500mm wade depth capability.</p>
<p> It was unstoppable through this stuff, although it does pay to check the depth in these mini billabongs.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><strong>Land Rover conferma una filosofia produttiva sempre più attenta alle tematiche ambientali</strong> con una serie di iniziative a livello nazionale e globale. <strong>Da fine maggio</strong>, per esempio, <strong>tutte le Freelander sono dotate del dispositivo stop &#38; start</strong> che, <em>secondo la Casa</em>, c<strong>onsente una riduzione dei consumi e quindi delle emissioni: -8% quello medio</strong>, -20% quello in particolari condizioni di traffico urbano, grazie anche ad alcune specificità rispetto a quelli installati su altre vetture.</p>
<p><strong>E proprio le Freelander sono le protagoniste dell&#8217;accordo siglato con il ministero dell&#8217;Ambiente </strong>nell&#8217;ambito del progetto &#8220;<em>Parchi naturali per tutti, fruibilità per un&#8217;utenza ampliata</em>&#8221; che ha l&#8217;obiettivo di consentire la visita delle bellezze naturali del Paese anche alle persone diversamente abili, ai bambini e agli anziani. <strong>Si comincia con tre parchi</strong> (Cilento, Gran Sasso e Dolomiti Bellunesi), <strong>ognuno dei quali riceverà in comodato gratuito una Freelander</strong> e cinque biciclette a marchio Land Rover, ma l&#8217;iniziativa è destinata ad ampliarsi. <strong>Prossimamente,</strong> inoltre, <strong>alcune Freelander verranno consegnate all&#8217;assessorato all&#8217;Ambiente </strong>dei <strong>comuni di Roma e Milano</strong>, e utilizzate con <strong>funzioni di controllo del verde pubblico e del traffico. </strong></p>
<p>Entrambi gli accordi si inseriscono in una strategia volta al maggior rispetto dell&#8217;ambiente (e-Terrain Technology) che Land Rover declina in quattro punti: sviluppo appunto di tecnologia ecocompatibili (stop &#38; start ora, lancio della LRX nel 2011, ibrido diesel-elettrico entro il 2012); sistemi di produzione sostenibile (con una riduzione del 30% negli ultimi cinque anni delle emissioni degli stabilimenti); progetti umanitari (già 2,5 milioni di sterline sono state devolute alla Croce Rossa internazionale); conservazione ambientale.</p>

<p>El constructor de todoterrenos llevará al <strong>Salón del Automóvil de Barcelona</strong> sus últimos modelos, el <strong>Range Rover</strong>, <strong>Range Rover Sport</strong> y<strong> Discovery 4</strong>. Todos ellos han recibido una serie de mejoras estéticas que les otorgan una imagen más moderna y elegante, a la vez que mejoran la resistencia aerodinámica y el consumo de carburante. Se ha introducido la tecnología LED a los grupos ópticos delanteros.<br />

<p>Los tres modelos han recibido mejoras técnicas. El programa de “rocas” reduce aún más el balanceo en terrenos rocosos. El nuevo “control de avance en arena” limita el derrape de las ruedas en arena blanda. El “control de pendientes” ha sido perfeccionado al incluir el Control Gradual de Frenos en Pendiente, con el que el descenso por bajadas muy pronunciadas es más suave.</p>

<p>Como primicia en nuestro país, <strong>Land Rover</strong> mostrará en su stand el primer todoterreno con el sistema Stop/Start, el <strong>Freelander 2 TD4-e</strong>. Con él, el Freelander tiene una media de consumo de combustible de 6,7 l/100 km y unas emisiones de CO2 de 179 g/km.</p>

Todos ellos han sido desarrollados siguiendo un programa de desarrollo con <strong>Jaguar</strong>.</p>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:&#34;color:black;">Se pare ca feedback-ul pozitiv de care s-a bucurat conceptul LRX i-a convins pe britanici sa studieze posibilitatea introducerii acestuia in productia de serie sub numele Range Rover. LRX ar putea deveni, din 2011, cel mai eficient, mic si usor automobil produs de britanici. Phil Popham, Managing Director of Land Rover, a declarat ca studiile de fesabilitate au demonstrat ca se poate oferii aceeasi calitate, prestanta si eleganta, si intr-un pachet compact, sportiv, usor de produs si extrem de atractiv. Asamblarea ar putea demara la Halewood, pe o linie de productie paralela cu cea a Freelander-ului 2 si a actualului X-Type. Baby-Range va fi disponibil cu tractiune integrala, iar inginerii promit ca nivelul emisiilor poluante se va situa sub 150 g/km. Не могу сказать, что согласен со всеми их рекомендациями, но, в конце концов, их дело &#8211; представить варианты, а наше дело &#8211; с ними соглашаться или нет.</p>
<p>По поводу приведенных цен &#8211; если указана &#8220;правильная&#8221; цена, это максимальная цена, которую надо платить за эту машину. То есть, чтобы получить ее, надо повоевать с дилерами. &#8220;Лучшее предложение&#8221; &#8211; самая низкая реально доступная цена, по которой машину можно купить хоть сегодня. В Британии, разумеется.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Scoprire l'acqua calda e' troppo facile]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p style="text-align:justify;">E&#8217; nata la <a href="http://www.fiatlinea.com/" target="_blank">FIAT Linea</a>. E&#8217; una Grande Punto con un bel baule sul didietro, nulla a che vedere con la dimenticatissima Duna (che Dio la abbia in gloria!) che era una Uno (versione brasiliana, nemmeno quella italiana!) con una cassapanca medievale incollata al sedere alla bene e meglio.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Questa Linea e&#8217; bella, elegante, ha interni piacevoli e, siccome deriva in tutto e per tutto dalla Grande Punto, sara&#8217; anche comoda, confortevole bella da guidare (la Grande Punto l&#8217;ho provata piu&#8217; di una volta).</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Non sara&#8217; commercializzata in Italia, ma in India si&#8217;, e qui gia&#8217; sbavano tutti. In effetti, dato il segmento, il prezzo d&#8217;attacco ed il prodotto, mi sembra una gran bella macchina per questo Paese.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Ma non e&#8217; della macchina che volevo parlare, ma del nome. E se possibile vorrei generalizzare il concetto all&#8217;intera gamma FIAT. Ma vediamola, pezzo per pezzo, in ordine di dimensione/target di mercato. Ecco che abbiamo la:</p>

<li>Panda</li>
<li>500</li>
<li>Grande Punto</li>
<li>Bravo</li>
<li>Idea</li>
<li>Multipla</li>
<li>Sedici</li>
<li>Doblo&#8217;</li>

<li>Croma</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Di queste, le seguenti attingono a nomi e fasti di un passato piu&#8217; o  meno recente. Ovviamente la <strong>600</strong> e la <strong>500</strong> non hanno bisogno di commenti, ma nemmeno la <strong>Panda</strong>, che fu un best seller negli anni &#8216;80. La <strong>Grande Punto </strong>riprende la Punto, altra macchina di successo nei &#8216;90. La <strong>Multipla</strong> era la mitica <a href="http://digilander.libero.it/lucascarcollection/images/600_multipla_7.jpg" target="_blank"><em>600 monovolume</em></a>: spesso guidata da suore, era anche soprannominata &#8220;due morti e quattro feriti&#8221;. Infatti, a causa della particolarissima conformazione dell&#8217;abitacolo, si poteva facilmente constatare che, in caso d&#8217;incidente, i due passeggerri anteriori dovevano inevitabilmente lasciarci le penne, mentre per gli altri 4 c&#8217;era qualche speranza.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">E infine la <strong>Croma</strong>, altra ottima berlina (a me piaceva) che negli anni &#8216;80 fece un discreto furore, non fosse altro per essere stata la prima vettura commerciale di serie a montare un 1.9 turbo diesel a iniezione diretta con turbina a geometria variabile e un 2.0 a benzina con i condotti di aspirazione a sezione variabile (si chiamava CHT, ve la ricordate?).</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Cosa resta? Restano <strong>Bravo</strong>, <strong>Idea</strong>, <strong>Sedici</strong>, <strong>Doblo&#8217;</strong> e <strong>Qubo</strong>. Passi la Bravo, ce ne era stata una negli anni &#8216;90 (c&#8217;era anche la Brava che era la Bravo con un&#8217;orrendo sedere), ma che comunque suona come una macchina da vendere agli italo-americani emigrati a New York, specialmente dalla Sicilia. &#8220;Minchia, che macchina comprasti?&#8221;. &#8220;Minchia la Bravo comprai!&#8221;. &#8220;Bravo cumpa&#8217;, bravo, bene facisti!&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">L&#8217;Idea non la commento nemmeno piu&#8217; di tanto. Ma che sarebbe pure un nome <em>Idea</em>? E allora perche&#8217; non usiamo nomi quali Concetto, Stile (c&#8217;era la Stilo in effetti&#8230;) ecc&#8230;? Non comunicano niente! Vuoi comunicare un&#8217;idea? Dagli un nome, fai capire qualcosa! E&#8217; come dire: &#8220;senti, ho avuto un&#8217;idea&#8221;, e poi non dire niente!</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">La Sedici&#8230; argh, la Sedici. A parte il fatto che di FIAT in quel coso c&#8217;e&#8217; molto poco (e&#8217; della Suzuki e la versione giappo-nippo si chiama SX4), in realta&#8217; Sedici viene da 4&#215;4=16, dove 4&#215;4 significa a trazione integrale. Non sforzatevi troppo, mi raccomando!</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Doblo&#8217; non merita nemmeno un altro grammo d&#8217;inchiostro, se non per dire che ricorda una tavoletta di cioccolata. <em>Cioccoblocco Doblo&#8217; e&#8217; un piacere morderlo&#8230;</em></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Qubo poi&#8230; ma come si puo&#8217;? Un cubo! Un&#8217;automobile che, per definizione, deve essere elegante, armonica, filante, comoda aerodinamica, la chiami come un oggetto geometrico solido che ha tutte le facce uguali e ci metti pure una bella <strong>Q</strong> al posto della <strong>C</strong>, giusto per assicurarti di caricare il mattone con altri 100 Kg di cemento armato?? Ma secondo voi far avanzare un cubo in un fluido costa meno o piu&#8217; che far avanzare una freccia? Ma quanti Km al litro fa la Qubo? E quanti parsec impiega da 0 a 100 Km/h? In compenso dovrebbe frenare come una bestia, vista la resistenza aerodinamica! Basta alzare il piede dall&#8217;accelleratore e, zac, auto ferma!</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">E, infine, ci metto la Linea, che va un po&#8217; insieme al cubo. Ma che vogliamo fare, l&#8217;intero libro di geometria qua? La prossima si chiamera&#8217; Tetraedro o Parallelepipedo? Ma insomma, un po&#8217; di creativita&#8217;.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Tanto per dire, vi propongo il paragone con modelli analoghi di altre marche, cosi&#8217; vediamo di confrontare i nomi.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Non saranno nemmeno questi nomi da paura, ma almeno non sono troppo banali. E, a meno che non si voglia andare nelle sigle e nei numeri (Audi A4, 5, 6; BMW 3, 5, 7; Peugeot 208, 308&#8230;), mi pare che si potrebbe fare molto meglio di cosi&#8217;.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">D&#8217;altronde la scelta del nome di un&#8217;automobile e&#8217;, quasi sempre, un grosso investimento da parte di molte case automobilistiche, investimento che andrebbe affrontato con cognizione di causa. Se e&#8217; vero che l&#8217;abito fa il monaco, allora il nome gioca un ruolo determinante nella scelta del consumatore. Se e&#8217; vero che ci sono miti indistruttibili (trovatemi uno che si sogni di dire che BMW M3 non sia un nome quantomeno divino!), quando si gioca con un prestigio non proprio intonso da un lato, e con una concorrenza piu&#8217; che agguerrita dall&#8217;altro, bisogna usare un po&#8217; d&#8217;ingegno e tentare di avere la meglio su tutti i fronti.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">E&#8217; per questo che dico che scoprire l&#8217;acqua calda e&#8217; troppo facile. Eh gia&#8217;&#8230; rifai la 500 uguale e la chiami pure 500, grazie, lo so fare pure io!</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Ma allora, se proprio vogliamo usare l&#8217;acqua calda, lo scaldabagno FIAT e&#8217; molto piu&#8217; grosso di cosi&#8217;! Ritmo? 131? 127? Uno? Se poi vogliamo proprio la pappa pronta, non c&#8217;e&#8217; che da scegliere: Topolino, Campagnola, 8V, 850&#8230;</p>

When i heard about this i was very eager to know about this car. I immediately searched in net and i got to know so many amazing informations about Freelander. WOW.!!! What a car it is. The first and important highlighting factor of this car is its a Green car which means its an environmental friendly car. amazing right..?? That too particularly at this stage where all countries are fighting for green earth, this car is definitely a welcome car for all environment supporters.</p>
<p>And the second most important factor is its the most fuel economic car. Obviously this again is a treat for everyone. When all the car companies are just fighting and talking about green earth, Land Rover has silently released its green car and proved that it has concern about earth. Lets all hope other car companies also take a resolution to produce more  excellent green cars like this Freelander and let this earth be green forever.</p>
