Fashion Research Institute has been working in virtual worlds for the past few years, exploring them as platforms and tools for use by the $1.7 trillion apparel industry.  We have since developed a design application, Black Dress Design Studio, which is currently in closed alpha. Black Dress shows promise of being a disruptive technology for the industry, as well as a game changer for the way product is developed in both apparel and in the much larger soft consumer goods industries.

As we worked in the virtual world space, our understanding of both the potential power and range of the platform, and our understanding of how to educate fashion designers using virtual world platforms grew and changed.  We knew that understanding how people learn is as critical to our success in bringing our application to market as making sure the application is ‘right’.  With that understanding as a basis, we launched a series of educational programs, which currently include our Shengri La Marketplace program and our student internships.

Both of these programs focus on educating designers and helping them achieve their dreams.  There are critical differences: the Marketplace program is intended to help designers of virtual goods, or ‘virtua’, develop their label in these virtual spaces.  These designers have varying educational backgrounds and they have a burning desire to create within virtual worlds.  Their product is not intended to ever be manufactured in the industrial complex, nor will it be sold through usual apparel industry retail channels.  This product is sold to the users of avatars for some of the same reasons we buy real life apparel – we want to customize our appearance in a way that sends a message to people who see us.  Obviously in a virtual world we don’t need to be concerned about fit or function, nor on manufacturability, which can be very freeing for the creative spirit.  The Marketplace program has a rolling admission deadline.

The internship program, in contrast, is designed to teach fashion student designers how to go through the process of developing a collection from original concept to final runway show.  Using virtual worlds as the platform, we take our interns through a fast-paced development sequence where they learn about both the art and business of design and development. 

Our internships run about sixteen weeks.  In that time the interns are expected to develop marketing concepts for their label, which include logo, showroom, storefront, customer service policies, packaging, and an overall look and feel for their line.  They use these concepts to present their actual collection to the virtual goods marketplace in Second Life.  The interns are expected to create all components of a collection during their internship – we have them create a mood board, color stories, and materials story, which we keep displayed in their workspace for reference. 

The interns are taught to develop product using the in-world content creation tools.  We maintain presence on several grids, and we usually have them prototype their designs on one of our OpenSim grids because there is no cost for developing on our grids.  When they are ready to develop for the marketplace, they develop their product on the Second life platform, package up their outfits, and place them in vendors.  They receive immediate feedback – either their outfits sell, or they don’t!
Our interns are expected to complete one look a week from their original sketches, developed in 3-6 colorways.  Our goal is to help the interns produce a visual ’story’ for their portfolio that shows they understand how the product development cycle works in the real life apparel industry.  Using these low risk platforms enables us to take our interns through the process at a nominal cost. They are encouraged to explore the full parameter space of their own creativity. 

Our final project with our interns is to help them produce a full virtual runway show with live models presenting their designs to a general audience.  These shows are group shows where the interns collaborate to define their theme, name the show and determine the run order for the models.  The interns are all individually responsible for styling their models and determining makeup, hair, and accessories to complete the look.  They must also select pre-determined poses for their models to strike at the end of the runway.

FRI has a team of dedicated volunteer models who generously offer their time for fittings and the show.  They also provide needed moral support and encouragement.  The FRI team builds the runway and make sure that all of the models are correctly styled.  We also manage the overall show including media and marketing.  In addition, we have an audience of supporters who are gracious enough to come to the shows and demonstrate their support of our student designers by blogging about their work, buying their work, and simply being present and giving these new talents a bit of an ego boost.  

At the end of the runway show, our interns have a chance to be recognized for all of their hard work by taking a bow on the runway.  They depart with valuable experience in the real life development process.  We stop short of pulling physical samples but the design cycle is the same and when the time comes for them to enter the work force, they will recognize the design process because they have already been through it. The educational process is fast-paced and demanding, and we set very high standards for them to reach. 

Virtual Goods Marketplace Trends

We’re particularly excited to be working with our student interns from Buffalo State university because we think the virtual goods marketplace will burgeon rapidly. In 2007, virtual goods accounted for $2.6 billion in sales.  Although the total value of virtual goods pales in comparison to the $1.7 trillion apparel industry, this market compares very favorably with the accessories market which generates about $1.8 billion in sales.  Various analyst reports indicate that the virtual goods marketplace is set to double in 2010.  Fashion designers are often encouraged to move into handbags and other accessories to add a new revenue stream and enable brand extension.  With virtual goods slated to open up further in 2010, designers should definitely consider this new niche market they can readily move into which can help them generate more sales in a completely new area.

Not only is there a business case to be made for providing design for this niche, but designers can also use the low-risk OpenSim platform to explore new design ideas, and to show their work 24/7 on special runways, where models can walk the catwalk at a touch of the button and show off designs as they are meant to be: in 3D and moving.

Virtual/Real Runway 3.0 Project

We are very excited to be working with the talented students designers from Buffalo State University, and we’re very much looking forward to our Spring work with them.  Working virtually, we will be helping them develop the exact same looks to present on our virtual runways as they will be showing in real life in their graduating senior runway show, ‘Runway 3.0′.  Our work with them will extend even outside of our virtual space. We’ll be taking a day to tour them through the fashion district in New York City, the home of fashion.  And finally, we’ll be working with them as technical fashion designers to help them create real world apparel with a decided technical bent: we’re going to help them add motors, lights, and more!

Craving Comfort

Some days, I roll out of bed, peel open my eyes, and stumble my way to my dresser, just to pull out, a fresh pair of PJ’s.  These are what I call bum days, we all have them… the days, you just want nothing but relaxation.  Then there are days, you want that comfort… but you can’t go out in PJ’s… those are the over sized sweater comfort days.  This season,  I have those a lot.  When I saw this sweater from Skin Flicks, which, coincidentally matches my favorite over sized sweater in real life, I knew it was meant to be… love at first SLight.

Comforting Clothing

So, as this sweater adorns me … here, at my computer… I’ve put together a look for you … here, on my computer.  When my eyes fell on this shirt from BP, the bulging buttons and tiny little ruffles, I saw endless possibilities, this… being one of them of course.  Paired with my go to trousers from Armidi… just the right hues of heather and hints if silver are brought out.  These funny girl flats from Periquita are one of my favorite pair of fall back shoes here in SL.  They remind me of my favorite pair in RL, which, again, I happen to be wearing as we speak.  Smitten, made this adorable hanging heart pendant YEARS ago… though an oldie, it has been an active part of my inventory ever since!  These Genius glasses from Miel, which I’ve worn for a look of the day before… and will again… are so easily re-textured, re-sized, and fit to any AV, that glasses lovers like myself would be crazy not to own them.  Top it off with this simple chic hair from fri.day and you’ve got a comfortable ensemble to grace the grid (or otherwise) in any day!

 After  Missy’s SL Virtual Internship Interview ended and I uploaded the podcast, I thought of some additional questions others may have for Missy regarding this entire virtual internship experience. I sent the questions to Missy and her responses are below.

1. Are your Second Life experiences relavant to any of your fashion education classes? If so in what way? 

My Second Life experiences are related to two fashion classes I have taken at Buffalo State college thus far, FTT208:Introduction to Fashion Technologies and FTT308: FashionCAD. Both are fashion CAD classes, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Once I learned the basics in those two classes, I was able to learn so much more about those programs.
 
2. Do you feel that the experiences that you are simulating in second life regarding developing a brand and coordinated fashion lines, presenting and merchandising your brand integrates and simulates the knowledge and skills that you are learning in your fashion education classes?

If anything else, Second Life inspires me. I am eager to create and design garments and have the ability to change what I am making with a simple click of a button, instead of having to completely redo a sewn garment. I am faster at finding ways to get things done more efficiently in my fashion classes.
 
3. Are your fashion design and merchandising related experiences in Second Life providing you with a clearer  picture of what is involved in the real world design and merchandising process? If so how?

Second Life is making having a fashion line real to me. It’s a fast pace enviroment and putting your ideas into Photoshop and Illustrator and then into Second Life virtually shows an image of what my designs would look like on a body, without the cost of materials and sewing time. I like seeing the progression of sketches to actual garments, and it cuts time so much shorter to see it on a virtual body first to make sure everything looks they way I want it. I also have always had a love for marketing and the business side of fashion, and I get to do this in SL by running my store and modeling. So it’s the best of both worlds… literally. [note from e.polvinen: Missy really does mean this literally because the Lindens $L she makes from selling her virtual fashions are easily converted into $US dollars.]
 
4. Would you recommend a virtual fashion design and merchandising experience to other fashion students?

I absolutely would recommend virtual design to other fashion students because that is where technology is taking us. If we have the programs available, it doesn’t hurt to get familiar with them, in order to make presentations and amazing concept boards. So many things are done now with the computer, so why not make fashion with it too?

From my own experience as a professor teaching fashion students introduction to fashion concepts in Second Life for the last three years, it is an ideal platform for developing unified fashion garment/line /brand concepts,  building presentation skills, organizational skills, fashion terminology, business and marketing skills…and it’s an opportunity to makes real $$$.

Missy’s Virtual Fashion Internship

In this Virtual Fashion Internship podcast I am asking Missy questions regarding the virtual internship PowerPoint she submitted to me upon completion of the project. Missy aka: Missy Lavecchia in Second Life  is one of two Buffalo State Fashion Technology students that completed a virtual internship with Shenlei Winkler aka Shenlei Flasheart from the Fashion Research Institute in the summer of 2009. We are viewing the PowerPoint as we are discussing the internship.

We have been attempting to schedule this interview since September. After multiple postponements we finally managed to complete it in my campus office last Wednesday. I did not even notice the traffic noise in the background [including an ambulance] until after the interview was completed. We were viewing Missy’s PowerPoint as we discussed her reactions to the entire virtual internship experience.

You will hear in the interview that she developed a concept board for her brand, a color palette for her collection, presentation  boards and packages as well as a customer service policy. Once her collection was completed she participated in a well attended virtual fashion show titled Fluid with two other interns.

Buffalo State Fashion in Second Life

In the spring of 2007 and 2008 I had students participate in a Second Life fashion project that involves developing a series of garments and participating in a virtual fashion show. Here is a link to that 2007 project. We did a similar project in the spring of 2008 but I never had the time to organize and upload it to the Web. The virtual fashion class [link to post below] took place in the fall of 2008 and involved more advanced works in Second Life from students that completed the intro to Second Life class project that I presented in the second half of the FashionCAD class. I have developed an Intro to Second Life for Fashion Learning Module Series that anyone can use.

You can visit the Buffalo State island in Second Life to see all the student collections. Here is a SURL link to the student exhibit area.  All of their virtual garments are available for free. There is an exhibit remaining from a virtual/real marketing project students did with Sears. Students created replicas of Sears catalog items available free in Second Life and linked to the real item for purchase. The real items are now discontinued so only virtual items are available.

MueMeu's Fat Cat Tee

In the student stores that  still remain –  items that are available virtually in Second Life are also linked to real items from the ZAZZLE site.  MeuMeu was a student designer that created a series of virtual tees in her SL store that linked to real ZAZZLE versions of the shirts. Virtual Fashion Internships

Yes you are reading the heading correctly, virtual fashion internships are happening in Second Life. How do I know about them? I know about them because two of my fashion students recently completed virtual fashion internships and three students are currently working on a specialized virtual/real world project in Second Life. Who are they working with? They are working on the virtual portion of the project with Shenlei Winkler aka Shenlei Flasheart in Second Life from The Fashion Research Institute. 

In my next post I will be interviewing Missy, a FashionCAD student that completed a virtual fashion internship in Second Life.

Shenlei Winkler [Fashion Research Institute in Second Life]

This all started in the spring of 2009 with students from my FashionCAD class. Last spring I was having a meltdown helping to prepare for the big Runway 2.0 production at Buffalo State college. Shenlei Winkler filled in for me with the FashionCAD students by working virtually with them on the Second Life project. Students signed on to Second Life and met up with Shenlei at the fashion Research institute. Students were teleported to the Fashion Research Institute

She guided them through various exhibits where they learned how to walk, fly, place items into their inventories, they were able to get skins, accessories, clothing hair, etc. Once they familiarized themselves in Second Life she teleported them up to a special fashion instructional area where all students were provided with a studio/office of their own. You can see a birds-eye view of the studio/office rooms that were created for each student in the images above. Each student was expected to decorate their office/studio room.

The images above [The instructor] show Shenlei Winkler aka Shenlei Flasheart in Sl gathering the FashionCAD students around her for their lessons in Second Life.  She instructed them during class in the central area and assigned homework.

There was a  central instructional area and students were posing to be photographed in their new outfits that they created. The Second Life project lasted about 6 weeks and concluded with a fashion Show. Below  is a group photo taken just after the fashion show ended,  Shenlei’s avatar is on the right front wearing a suit.

Än är inte undrens tid över i socialiststaten Sverige! I ett tappert försök att rädda de mest nedgångna områdena i Sverige, dessa ghetton dit invandrare knuffats för att den socialborgerliga mellanmjölks-eliten skall slippa se dem, föreslår två av de mer radikalt liberala tänkarna i landet något helt otänkbart – förvandla Rosengård, Rinkeby m.m. till ekonomiska frizoner. Precis på det här sättet fortsätter valda och ickevalda socialistiska politrucker att konstant göra självmål varenda gång vettiga idéer dyker upp – jag är övertygad om att detta förslag kommer röstas ned på riksnivå av maktgalna moral-sociokrater som tillsätter en utredning över huruvida det är rättvist att fler arbetslösa får jobb i vissa områden än andra. Omfördelningskontor kommer skapas. Strategiska välfärds-satsningar kommer på-yrkas. Men om det är något som är säkert, så är det att socialist-staten ALDRIG frivilligt kommer släppa kontrollen över de arma själar vars liv den kontrollerar via bidragspolitik och arbetsmarknadsförtryck. Det här handlar inte om vänstern mot högern, det handlar om folket mot staten. Att vänstern är emot alla former av framsteg mot individuell frihet var knappast en överraskning, det som kvarstår att se är om den borgerliga majoriteten åtminstone tänker försöka  pressa detta genom riksdagen –  innan det är dags för nästa symboliska maktuppvisning och eventuellt en runda av hela havet stormar så att den andra socialist-falangen får förstöra i 4 år.

Fashionably Frigid

I just love that first chill of the season.  It’s that very first chill that makes you break out the winter wear that’s been gathering dust under your bed, or deep in the back of your closet.  Now of course here, that chill really means weather dips to 60 and the clouds cover the sun for a few hours.  That’s something great about Texas, if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes and check again. However, a girl can dream can’t she?

Fashionably Frigid Too

Still rummaging through my findings at Mischief’s Save Your Pennies for the Holidays Sale, I decided a second frosty weather fashion was necessary.  There’s no way I could have possibly blogged every fantastic find there yesterday, so… why not assemble one more?  Just for good measure of course.  I still can’t get over the fantastic detail to Mischief’s knit wear, and this cute little cardigan was just screaming my name the moment I saw it… The dress, also Mischief, is well worth the 200 Lindens I spent for a greedy pack with 6 shades.  Oh! and the socks! Mischief again… FREE for all group members in 13 fabulous colors!  (That’s your cue to RUN down there now!!)  *Linc* recently released these adorable winter long underwear, which used as tights add just the right touch, and they come in nearly any color you might want.  Now, who wasn’t shocked to find  Naughty put new things out?  The days of Naughty Mall may be a memory from the past, but if all their future creations live up to the detail of these adorable moccasins, that mall may be making a comeback!  I crossed paths with this handbag from YourSkin & YourShape, and fell madly in love with it.  I don’t typically carry SLags around, but for this, I make exceptions. Top it off with a new do from fri.day, wrap it in a little belt, and throw some Atelier AM  beads on it.  Voila, I’m ready for  the most fashionable of those frigid days!

Min absoluta favorit-gospel är “AMAZING GRACE”! Den har jag sjungit många gånger under årens lopp, dels på Båtarna, i kyrkorna på clubarna…ja överallt! På tv-succen Färjan på Kanal5, sjöng jag den ett antal gånger också. Jag sjunger den ständigt när jag är ombord på Färjan, Viking Cinderella, på Karaoken i Club7, samt i puben, pianobaren ibland. Likadant på Silja Line och på Birka Cruises. Ibland uppträder jag på Stora scenen på de olika båtarna….Det har ju hänt många gånger under årens lopp! Jag ÄLSKAR “amazing grace”. Den sångens budskap har jag upplevt! När Jesus frälste mej såg jag världen med nya ögon, jag kunde “se andligt! Jesus fann mej, frälste mej, jag blev fri!!!!Jag kan se hans kärlek, känna den varje dag, varje sekund av mitt liv!

Å, for en heeerlig helg! I går jobbet jeg forsåvidt i ni timer, men etter det fikk jeg besøk av Heidi og Preben og søte Smokey, hunden til Preben. Molte syntes ikke Smokey var særlig søt, men de godtok hverandre til slutt, bare se her:

Og ja, Smokey er en chihuahua (eller noe) og Molte er større enn han. Hihi!

I dag startet slapt med å prøve å jobbe litt med prosjektet, og i tre-tiden skulle jeg og Pål gå tur med Heidi, Preben, Johanne og Christian, noe som endte med å gå i 20 minutter også tilbringe resten av kvelden hos Heidi og Preben med taco, film, te, Safarikjeks og PS3 med nedlastet Crash Bandicoot-spill. Kjempekos!

Jeg har også fått inspirasjon til noe.. litt uvanlig til å være meg. Jeg veit ikke helt om jeg vil fortelle om det eller ikke, i tilfelle jeg mister inspirasjonen eller ikke gidder mer. Får se neste gang jeg blogger!

Vanligvis ser jeg slik ut, men da må jeg ha brukt 100 euro i baren dagen før..

Det er så deilig å stå opp og kunne tenke “ah, ikke noe jobb i dag”, spesielt på en lørdag. Lørdager er de værste dagene å jobbe på! Nå sitter jeg her med morgen kaffen og har TV’en på i bakgrunnen.

Har en kanal som heter musiq1 og de har visst “Backstreet Boys weekend”, noe som får meg spendt, fordi jeg skal snart på min første Backstreet Boys konsert! Det er mer for morro skyld, husker når jeg var liten og søsteren min var helt gal etter de. Når hun spilte CD’en dems hoppet og danset jeg rundt i stuen, så gleder meg kjempe mye til 5. desember og Backstreet Boys konsert!

Nå skal jeg ut å være litt sosial, så dette blir vel spennende?

Domenica 15 novembre la Pubblica Assistenza di Campi organizza “una giornata di solidarietà” il cui ricavato andrà all’Associazione Noi per Voi Onlus che si occupa del sostegno alla ricerca sui tumori e le leucemie infantili e dell’accoglienza delle famiglie dei ricoverati. Ore 11-19 bancarelle con pizzi, merletti, centri tavola, piccole tovaglie, ceramiche e quadri, tutti oggetti unici fatti a mano dalle concittadine campigiane e che offrono il ricavato a sostegno di questa iniziativa. La Pubblica Assistenza si rivolge a tutti coloro che vogliono partecipare al mercatino in favore della solidarietà. Alle ore 13, pranzo con specialità toscane (20 euro adulti e 10 per i ragazzi). Sarà presente una postazione dell’Associazione Noi per Voi con i nuovi regali di solidarietà per il prossimo Natale, come i biglietti di auguri, alcuni gadget, libri e l’anteprima delle bomboniere.

Att vara arbetslös är lite som att befinna sig i ingen mans land. Du är, men inte här och nu, du finns men helst inte.

Du räknas som en icke resurs. Du är utanförskapet Man leker med ordet det ska låta positivt men innebörden är negativt.

Som arbetslös möter man fördomar som påverkar den egna tanken och man får omfördela invanda mönster och sättet att tänka på. Som arbetslös läggs ansvaret för den arbetslösa hos den enskilda individen. Vem minns inte påståenden vid förra valets tävling. De olika partiers valmanifestation och det nya ord till uppslagsverket och om vem som värnade mest om de utsatta.

 Innan 2006 fanns inte ordet utanförskap. Då 2006 uppfanns det nya ordet utanförskap.  2006 då började indoktrineringen den negativa tanken om dem i utanförskapet. En homogen grupp sammansatta, hopsatta och häftade till sammans som en rund liten boll. Alla med samma behov alla med samma förutsättningar utan nyanser i tanken från dem som ville ha vår röst. Utanförskapet ett ord som omfattar många människor som inte arbetar.

 Vad som kom fram då det året är att tanken fortfarande är fri men det har också blivit legalt att trakassera, förtala och kränka arbetslösa verbalt. När som helst och hur som helst.

• Det finns jobb åt alla bara man anstränger sig lite
• Arbetslösa är lata
• Man kan inte lita på en arbetslös

 Nej det här har ingenting att göra med min färg i politiken eller att man är rädd för förändring. En arbetslös har redan drabbats av en stor förändring en katastrof i livet som inte bara påverkar den egna individen utan också dem i sin närhet. Man är i en förändring i livet som är likt en spiral i nedgående riktning och näst intill opåverkbar för den enskilda. Oavsett om vi är uppfinningsrika, sticker ut eller gör oss mer synliga från mängden. Den arbetslöse är inte i behov av offentlig förnedring det räcker nu

 Identitet är en viktig ingrediens i livet, en måttstock av vem du är och av hur andra människor kommer att betrakta eller bemöta dig. Titelhorandet är högt rankat i Sverige. Ju finare titel tillsammans med lukten av vad vi tror din höga lön är, får du bättre mottagande ja nästan per automatik blir du helig och nästintill ofelbar.

 Arbetslös då varar jaktsäsongen hela året och sedan 2006 är det legalt med mobbing på de arbetslösa. Det är synd att vi inte är en egen etnisk grupp. Endast då kanske vi hade kunnat få upprättelse genom diskrimineringsombudsmannen.

 Är det avundsjukan som styr neandertalare mentaliteten när man pratar om arbetslösa. Eller är det bara okunskapen.

Kom inte och tala om för mig hur jag ska må, hur jag ska bete mig eller att jag ska sänka mina krav till ett arbete i livet.

Den rättigheten har man bara om man också tar över av hur jag kan kommer att må på ett jobb som jag inte trivs med.

Ingen kan ta ifrån mig glädjen och min syn på livet i en arbetslös tid

Den arbetslösa ska inget eget liv hava jämte det livegna

Jag har glädjen i ögat varje morgon när jag hälsar på mig i badrumsspegeln.

Kan man börja dagen bättre?

 Mitt liv består av nuet. Jag lever i nuet och jag njuter av det. Jag har inte råd att sjunka in i självömkan för förlorat jobb eller för utebliven anställning för jobb jag sökt. För det ger mig ingen glädje.  

Att vara sin egen chef är underbart alla borde få prova på det.

Mitt dagliga jobb är mitt ansvar det finns ingen annan som tar över om jag uteblir.

 Jag kommer aldrig att acceptera att det är fult att vara arbetslös och jag kommer aldrig att tillfredsställa alla dem som tycker att vi arbetslösa ska stå till svars för den egna arbetslösheten. Det skulle ta bort min positiva syn på livet att varje människa är fri till egen vilja.

Nuet är mitt och jag njuter

För en gångs skull så gick jag upp tidigt, anledningen till det var att vi har haft ledarskapsmöte hemma hos mig idag Det är inte så skönt att gå upp kl 08, men jag ska inte klaga, det finns dom som måste gå upp ännu tidigare. Jag är nog lite bortskämd vad det gäller att få sova så länge man vill på morgnarna. Du kanske har varit inne på min blogg tidigare idag och sett att jag inte skrivit något. Nu vet ni anledningen. Jag har också bestämt mig för att inte skriva på förmiddagen utan på eftermiddagen/kvällen istället. Idag tänkte jag göra er uppmärksamma på en av mina favorit sing and song Writers, han heter Shawn McDonald. Jag tycker om att lyssna på olika människors berättelser, speciellt dom som handlar om hur dom har mött Jesus. Jag ska försöka lägga upp lite olika vittnesbörd i videoform om hur Jesus förvandlar människor . Jag börjar med Shawn, han har en riktigt intressant story att berätta och jag vill att du tar dig lite tid att lyssnar på hans berättelse om hur Jesus hjälpte honom ur missbruk av olika typer av droger.

Ha en härlig dag!

Jeg tror jeg endelig har funnet speilreflekskameraet jeg vil ha. Nikon D3000. Og det koster sånn ca hvor mye jeg hadde planer om å bruke. Jeg skal bestille det i morgen, og da får jeg det nok innen en uke eller noe. Evt, så kan jeg bare stikke til oslo å hente det ^-^
Nå er jeg glad. Fri i morgen, og det blir digg. Selv om det bare er tirsdag i dag, har de siste dagene vært utrolig lange. Dagen min er ferdig om en time og tre kvarter. Kanskje verden ikke er så kjip alikevel? ^-^

Akkurat no: har fortsatt matte
(har hatt fagsamtale i matte, og læraren trudde eg var skuffa når eg fekk 4,9 på prøva!!)

Eg fryser og er trøtt. Kven fant på at skulen skal begynne 08.10? Og at det skal ta heile 30 minutta med buss til skulen? Veldig idiotisk, spørr du meg! Eg har fått mangel på søvn, og det hjelper ikkje særleg når skuledagane går til å fryse. Eg likar ikkje vinteren, den er så kald og eg fryser lett.

Eg føler det vart mykje i eit lite avsnitt, men dokke forstår meg? Så eg har ein sån rar følelse av at eg trenge litt fri; fri frå skule, fri frå å tenke, fri frå folk, fri frå arbeid, fri frå alt.

Nei, no kan eg ikkje begynne å synst synd på meg sjølv fordi eg er frisk! No begynne eg å bli patetisk. Har nok brukt alt for mykje tid på detta inlegget!

Dette har vært min første helg på lang lang tid hvor jeg hadde ingen planer i det hele tatt. Den fantastiske følelsen du får når det har vært et par måneder med ting som skjer hele tiden, og man aldri får tid til å hente seg inn, vel denne helgen hadde jeg ingen verdens ting på tapeten. Og jeg fulgte opp med å gjøre, ingenting. Jeg har til og med gjort så lite at når jeg i gr skulle lage middag, lagde jeg meg en granidosa. Herlig.

Det er ikke det at jeg ikke har ting som burde vært gjort, for det har jeg så absolutt. Jeg har faktisk to innleveringer på vent. Jeg har ikke trent noe siden september, og jeg har heller ingen umiddelbare planer om å gjøre det. Jeg har vurdert lenge om jeg skulle tatt turen ut og lekt litt med kamera, men de stakkars kleptopløsene mine er blitt så var for kulde i det siste, så det har liksom ikke fristet helt. Jeg har lenge tenkt at jeg skulle ha vasket over leiligheten, men det fristet i hvertfall ikke. Jeg kunne oppdatert CV’en min, men akk nei. Med alle disse gjøremålene som kunne vært gjort har det vært eksepsjonelt godt å gjøre ingenting
