Hola a todos, hoy os muestro un Plug-in para los amantes de Front Row y YouTube. Se trata de un Plug-in para añadir a Front Row la opción de ver los vídeos más destacados o recientes de YouTube.

Para instalarlo tan solo tenéis que descargaros el archivo que os dejo al final del post, y una vez lo descomprimís la carpeta que tiene el nombre “frUnderstudy.frappliance” teneis que copiarla dentro de los Plug-ins de Front Row, para ello tenemos que ir a la ruta “/System/Library/CoreServices/” y dentro de este directorio buscar el archivo “Front Row.app” encima de este archivo haremos click con el botón derecho y le darmos a “Mostrar contenido del paquete” seguido abrimos “Contents/PlugIns/” y copiamos la carpeta en este directorio.

Diciembre es el último mes del año, llegan las navidades y todos estamos de celebración. Celebramos una despedida, la del año que muere para dar paso a un nuevo periodo de esperanzas e ilusiones. Sin embargo, igual que unos mueren, otros nacen y este mes no solo vamos a despedirnos de grandes cosas, sino que vamos a dar la bienvenida a muchos proyectos que vuelven a casa por Navidad.

Comencemos con el repaso por la música que se lanzarán en Diciembre (probablemente, alguno encuentre un lugar en los zapatos del día 6 de Enero).

1. Rolling Stones. Conmemorando el 40 aniversario de los conciertos que el grupo ofreció en noviembre de 1969 en el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York, Abkco y Universal publican “Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out! The Rolling Stones In Concert  – 40 Aniversario Deluxe Box Set” y “Super Deluxe Box Set” el 1 de diciembre.

2. Alicia Keys. Con 12 Grammys en su vientre, “The element of Freedom” llega el 15 de diciembre. Un disco que se lanza con dos semanas de retraso ya que la artista ha querido incluir nuevas canciones que estaba terminando de componer.

3. Thalía. Tras una mala época para la artista, llega“Primera Fila” (“Front Row”). Un disco compuesto por 13 canciones que tiene previsto ver la luz el 10 de Diciembre. Ya conoces algunas canciones de este nuevo trabajo como “Equivocada”.

4. Julian Casablanca. El 18 de diciembre, el cantante de los Strokes lanzará una edición de lujo de su disco debut, “Phrazes for the Young”, una caja de diseño antiguo que contiene un CD con el álbum, otro con maquetas y caras B, un DVD con interpretaciones en acústico. Además, lanza el 21 de Diciembre una edición limitada de un single navideño que contendrá una versión de ‘SNL’ (un villancico cómico del programa televisivo “Saturday Night Live”).

5. Nino Bravo. Cerca de cumplirse los 40 años del fallecimiento del cantante, los mejores artistas del pop español se reúnen para hacerle un homenaje en “El homenaje definitivo” que saldrá a la venta el 1 de Diciembre.

6. George Michael. El próximo 13 de diciembre lanzará al mercado su canción navideña “December Song” (la que el año pasado era gratis en la red, ahora se prepara para soporte físico). Además, lanza su primer DVD en vivo el 7 de diciembre “Live In London” que tendrá 23 canciones grabadas durante conciertos en el Earls Court Arena de Londres.

7. Neil Young. “Dreamin’ Man’ – Live ‘92” debió salir en Noviembre, pero el lanzamiento se ha visto retrasado al 8 de Diciembre. Este trabajo es la nueva entrega de los  “Archives Performance Series” de Neil Young y  fue un álbum grabado en 1992 durante la gira de presentación de “Harvest Moon”.

8. Fangoria. “Completamente” es la reedición de “Absolutamente” en el que encontraremos colaboraciones como la de Sara Montiel en la canción que lleva el mismo nombre del álbum anterior.

9. Los Beatles. Por fin llegan en formato digital para PC y Mac. El 7 de diciembre se podrá adquirir una memoria USB de 16 GB con la edición remasterizada de su discografía. En él encontrarás las versiones estéreo de los álbumes, 13 minidocumentales (incluidos también en la edición CD), los diseños de cubiertas originales, textos y fotografías.

10. Pet Shop Boys. Cinco canciones saldrán el próximo día 14 de diciembre en un EP que se llamará “Christmas”. Incluye nuevas versiones de “It Doesn’t Often Snow At Christmas”, “All Over The World” y “My Girl”. Estará disponible en formato físico y en descarga digital.

Setelah kuis Ride The Mission saat momen peluncuran Honda Vario Techno, Honda mengadakan kuis lagi periode 2 November – 31 Desember 2009 berhadiah 25 HP online Nexian warna-warni untuk Honda Lovers di welovehonda.com. Tidak jauh berbeda dengan kuis sebelumnya yang berintegrasi dengan situs pertemanan facebook, kuis kali ini juga serupa. Selain sebagai penanda 25 juta produksi motor Honda di Indonesia, juga kuis ini sebagai sarana promosi yang bisa dibilang mengena bagi para facebookers.. sekali lagi mengena…

Lalu kenapa bisa dibilang mengena, ya… sekarang ini siapa yang tidak punya account facebook?? hampir bisa dipastikan para pengunjung blog ini juga punya facebook, kecuali yang ga punya hehe… Lihat saja permainan kuis ini (dikutip langsung dari petunjuk permainan, yang diakses tanggal 05/11/2009 jam 23.00), “buat kalimat status di wall facebookmu yang maksimal terdiri dari 25 kata. Nah, sudah mulai jelas kan… Jadi misalnya jika saya update status di facebook, maka semua teman-teman di facebook saya menerima pemberitahuan pembaruan update status saya, katakanlah 400 orang teman saya. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) held it’s 4th annual Front Row fashion show on Saturday, which features emerging minority designers.

It presented an opportunity for the designers to showcase  their 2009 collections at the 4th Annual Front Row Fashion Show:Celebrating the Spirit of Innovation in Fashion, held on Saturday, October the 24th,at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City.

This year, Front Row  highlighted 10 emerging and established designers, while paying tribute to trailblazers in the fashion industry with the 2009 Thurgood Marshall Fashion Icon Award. The Award salutes individuals who have influenced style and fashion within the African-American community, and who embody the spirit of leadership and commitment to their craft. It is one of the highest recognitions presented annually to honor the legacy of the late Justice Thurgood Marshall.

In attendance at the show was honoree modeling superstar and trailblazer Naomi Campbell, Actress Sherri Shepherd, and Marlon Jackson, of the Jackson 5, and brother to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

We have been wateing 42 very long days since we got the tickets to “The Coronas” and that day finally came! Doctor Leaves their supporting band were brill! Espicaly since theres only 2 of them! Fave song out of the set was “Seven Year Itch” Fair plate to ye lads! But I have to say that  The Coronas were AMAZING! We had front row seates .. with thanks to Louise!..! The atomsphere was! ah!! words cant describe! We were all danceing and singing to the ..san diego song.. Im still buzzin! Polly and Myself got squished trying to get our posters and t-shirts signed! Got my bag and poster signed by “doctor leaves” Woop woop! Have also found out that my pink billabong bag is in their video “No Step Forward” 2:17  Check it out! Woooo!!! The camera i have is shit! Wohnzimmer Media Center1:

Das Media Center wird mit einem Apple Mac Mini abgedeckt, die Mediendaten Musik, Filme und Bilder werden auf dem Ubuntu Server gehostet und mittels Front Row bereitgestellt. Die Fernbedienung wird mit dem App Remote Buddy erweitert und ermöglicht das starten aller Programme am Mac Mini.

Wohnzimmer Media Center2:

Das Media Center wird mit der Sony Playstation 3 abgedeckt, die Mediendaten Musik, Filme und Bilder werden auf dem Ubuntu Server gehostet und via MediaTomb Streamingserver bereitgestellt. Aktualisierungen im Filesystem werden automatisch im MediaTomb Server aufbereitet und bereitgestellt.

Zugriff vom Internet:

Mobile Devices: iPhone 3G und MacBook Pro 15″.
Apps: für iPhone iWOL

Das aktivieren des Ubuntu 9.04 Medien Servers erfolgt über Wake on LAN über Internet. Hier gilt eine Netzwerkregen, “Wake on LAN Broadcasts können nicht über ein Layer3 Device weitergeleitet werden”. Um dies jedoch zu schaffen gibt es zwei Lösungsansätze, ich habe mich für einen statischen ARP Eintrag und eine Portweiterleitung am Router entschieden.

NAT Eintrag:
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.1 9 interface FastEthernet4 9

ARP Eintrag:
arp 10.10.10.1 xxxx.xxxx.xxxx ARPA

Das Magic Paket wird auf die offizielle IP Adresse des Routers gesendet. Ich verwende zu diesem Zweck die Dienste von DynDNS.com. Der Router wandelt durch den statischen ARP Eintrag den Broadcast in einen Unicast um und leitet diesen an den Server im LAN weiter.

Ubuntu 9.04 Server:

Nun der Server lässt sich über WOL automatisch einschalten, dies funktioniert über ein App am iPhone.
Das Ausschalten funktioniert auch automatisch, über einen Bash-Skript welcher fix im Crontab alle 15 Minuten aufgerufen wird. Dieser Skript überprüft mittels netstat gewisse Dienste am Server ob diese aktiv sind oder nicht, sollten diese Dienste nicht aktiv sein, wird der Server automatisch heruntergefahren.

MediaTomb Streaming Server:

Der Ubuntu Server stellt auch eine Streaming-Funktion via MediaTomb bereit. Die Konfiguration ist einfach über eine XML Datei zu tätigen. Dieser Stream wird über die Sony Playstation 3 abgespielt. Filme, Musik und Fotos werden so auf der Sony Playstation 3 abgespielt.

I am starting to feel that I am becoming addicted to review broadcasts and reading reviews in newspapers.  The addiction includes watching my favourite programme, The Culture Show and making sure  Newsnight Review has been recorded on Sky + to watch later in the week.   My keenness for reviews also includes  listening to Radio Four’s Front Row and Saturday Review, as well as the wonderful Kermode and Mayo on Radio Five Live.  Did video kill off radio?  My appetite for review watching, listening and reading has been fuelled by the easy accessibility of these outputs in the digital age.   As radio broadcasts are so easily accessible through the iPlayer and podcasts, I am now finding that I probably listen to more radio than I watch television.  This is because it is possible to listen while writing at the computer or when I’m travelling on trains, whereas television means I have to be in a certain place in my house.  I could watch television on my iPlayer as well I know, but it’s not as easy to be working on the computer at the same time.  Being part of the radio audience is much easier than it was and is a massive move forward from when you needed to be near a radio and spent ages moving a wire at the back around to get as signal.  Indeed, radio lagged behind television which became part of the video recording age, whereas you had to be there if you wanted to record anything on your cassette recorder.

As well as easy access to broadcast, in the age of Web 2.0 technologies there are also a slew of blogs to read and I am keen not to miss any theatre reviews, so I can access them al through my Google Reader.  I lap up Michael Billington, Mark Shenton, and Charles Spencer, as well as the rest of the well established theatre reviewers.  However, I also enjoy looking at the blogs, such as the wonderfully engaging West End Whingers, Virtual Scholars and it’s comment on culture, and Peter Kirwin’s meticulous Bardathon.  What I think  are some of the best blogs are accessible from this blog through the right hand side column.  I used to put the Press Night dates in my diary and then try and find space in my day to go out and buy the newspapers.  This of course was very risky.  If the review wasn’t in that day’s edition, it was a waste of time, but if I forget to buy them or couldn’t find the time to go to the nearest newsagent then I missed them altogether.  I suppose I do read the adverts and I must admit it was a video advert on a newspaper site which seduced me into buying tickets for the wonderful Priscilla.  I have been tempted to go to see a production because of a good review.  My visit to As You Like It at the  Curve at Leicester was down to the fact that I read the reviews and felt I must go and see another Tim Supple production.  I still buy newspapers, particularly on a Sunday.  I don’t buy less, but the digital age means I do read more than I did.  The fact that the television and radio is available in a digital form means that I can consume them when it suits me.  I am unlikely to listen and watch more than once, which would be the case if I had planned to tune in to a one off broadcast.

What appeals to me about all this?  Accessing all these reviews and conversations about culture makes me think and shape my own views.  I can choose to be influenced or not.  I like hearing different opinions.  I enjoy being annoyed about what is said and the approach taken, and   it’s like having a dialogue with someone about things I’ve seen.  I am introduced to art, film, theatre and literature, that I might not have considered.  The digital age is providing me with choice and that can only be a good thing.  It feels like the outputs  are free, but the engagement in the reviewing world  leads to me being a consumer somewhere, whether it is in buying theatre tickets, books or becoming a friend of an art galley so I can view exhibitions.  It’s not free really, as ther is a cost is in the broadband  subscription, the Sky + box or the mobile phone network.  It’s also useful to have the space in my own blog to reflect and respond to what I have seen in my own language.  It is my view that the digital age complements cultural outputs and is a really positive way forward.  I would say that digital recording has breathed new life into radio rather than determined it’s death.  The newspaper reivews still lead readers to the adverts if they are read on line and the blogs add another layer of opinion to those traditional review outputs.

Di Jogja, sosialisasi menyalakan lampu utama kendaraan roda dua di siang hari penerapan pasal 107 UU No 22 Tahun 2009, baru gencar-gencarnya dilakukan. Dengan UU Lalu Lintas yang baru itu pula tengah dilakukan MoU perubahan tabel tilang sebagai perubahan nominal denda pelanggaran lalu lintas. Sosialisasi dijadwalkan sampai tanggal 31 Desember 2009 dan selanjutnya akan dilakukan penindakan terhadap pelanggar pasal itu. So, masih dalam tahap sosialisasi, ada beberapa komentar pro dan kontra yang dikutip dari halaman Jogja di Facebook.

• enggak usah suatu saat, sekarang juga bisa tau kok apa manfaatnya. kebetulan Masku itu ikut terlibat langsung dalam sosialisasi menyalakan lampu motor di siang hari (safety riding) di Jawa Timur. Aku pernah tanya, apa signifikasinya kalo lampu motor dinyalakan siang2. Kata masku, sinar lampu yang dinyalakan akan memantul di kaca spion motor di depannya. pantulan sinar itu, meskipun di siang hari sekali pun, akan menjadikan pengendara motor yang di depan menjadi tahu kalau ada motor di belakangnya. sehingga pengendara motor yang di depan akan lebih hati2 dalam berkendara, misalnya enggak mengerem atau membelok mendadak.

• Bagus skali mo diterapkan, krn kl lampu nyala, otomatis orang lebih cpt liat kendaraan bermotor itu drpd tdk sama sekali, tp….lebih bagus lg, kl diikuti pendidikan ttng aturan2 mengendarai kendaraan bermotor, so ga semrawut, teratur, jg sngat mngurangi resiko kecelakaan & jg nyaman, ga bikin jengkel.

• Aku di semarang, punya pengalaman light on kok, ada gunanya kok…kendaraan yang di depan lebih menghargai belakangnya klo melambat, berguna banget klo jalanan memang padat terutama mobil2…(sedikit catatan: jalan di semarang tidak terlalu ramah buat pengendara kendaraan bermotor, apalagi pejalan kaki ato penyepeda…sedikit disiplin dapat mengurangi masalah) toh aki takkan abis cuma buat ngidupin lampu depan…so, be good citizen, peace JOGJA…

• waduh…katanya suruh hemat energi dalam rangka reduce global warming impact, eh malah peraturan baru bertentangan dengan ini. Jan..eneng2 wae.. lampu di pagi hari menurutku malah bikin silau, serasa gak percaya sama matahari yang dibuat Tuhan secara lebih keren, bikin udara tambah panas, juga rasanya aneh banyak orang yang pake lampu di pagi hari, bikin suasana pagi jadi gak oke.. Gimana dong..

• program light on disiang hari?wah borozzzzz aki…katanya mo hemat energi,,,mana neh yg benerrr…silau bgt tau!!! emang jogja berawan/berkabut?klo kondisi berawan/berkabut boleh-lah nyalain lampu…tp ini? klo hrs nyala lampu di siang hari,,,tlg di kaji ulang lagi dunq peraturannya…jgn cm maen tilang2 ja klo kga nyalain lampu.

Die Chanel Show ist immer das Highlight der Pret a porter in Paris. Immer bekommt an neue Ideen von Meister Karl Lagerfeld präsentiert. Im Herbst 2009 waren das Labyrinth in Pre- Herbst war es das Motto Moskau und Vendig war es der Karnaval und jetzt war es voll der Bauernhof. Und so war es voll auch… Die Gäste ließen sich von einer Heuwand fotografieren voran Claudia Schiffer, Prince, Rihanna, Sean Lennon, Virginie Ledoyen usw.

Der zweite Teil der Serien ist jetzt draußen und ich glaube es kommt aufjedenfall noch ein Teil Front Row in Paris. Es sind wieder alte Bekannten dabei, wie Katy Perry, Dita von Teese, Rihanna aber auch neue Gesichter wie Adrian Graniere.
