Créée par l’agence TBWA Barcelona, cette campagne basée sur des visuels très colorés et illustrant la customisation nous montre à quel point l’originalité peut aborder plusieurs couleurs !!!

A superb rack and library thought by the Korean designer Shawn Soh. The principle: the books all are set out again on the various branches of the tree which was designed entirely out of steel. A concept very successful to discover in the continuation.

Thought this was pretty cool, gave the [book]shelf a more [natural] look haha. Having this in your house/apartment makes you feel that you are wondering in the woods [somewhere] it’d be a great piece of work to have in your household.

Depois de um breve diálogo sobre Paris com Daniell Marafon, escriba do ‘Suerte de Matar’, cheguei a algumas conclusões:

1. São Paulo é a cidade dos amores breves;
2. Enquanto Paris é a capital dos amores intensos.
3. E em ambas, todos estão sujeitos ao famoso broken heart.

De fato, aqui na metrópole paulistana as relações são mais líquidas. Na cidade francesa, ainda não sei. No entanto, posso imaginar como seria por experiência. Já tive um affair com um French, e deu pra perceber que os caras por lá são diferentes dos daqui.

Toda essa nostalgia emocional aconteceu por conta da trilha sonora desta última semana – pertinente até os dias de hoje, aliás. Além dos Phoenix (banda que parece estar em eternal repeat), os podcasts do Fubiz têm se tornado uma adorável constante. Destaque para o #43, cuja seleção de músicas foi meticulosamente feita pelo frupo francês The Penelopes. Outra compilação bem válida, mas essa eu ainda não ouvi por completo, é o último minimix do Kitsune Maison.

Seja na música ou nos amores, Paris é sempre uma ótima pedida.

Christian Faur has assembled thousands of wax pencils in varying colors and shades to produce these beautiful, haunting works. The individual “pixels” are precisely stacked into wooden frames to produce this unique art that balances the qualities of photography and sculpture. Love him!

Um amigo meu me mandou um link de um vídeo da Pixar, o qual vou postar aqui também, e acabei me interessando mais pelo site hospedeiro do que pelo vídeo em si. O site se chama Fubiz e contém as melhores campanhas publicitárias, vídeos, fotos e criações no geral, e ainda com posts em inglês e francês. Assim como o próprio site diz, o Fubiz é sua dose diária de inspiração, por isso, realmente vale a pena dar uma fuçada nele todos os dias, pois sempre encontramos algo legal.

Graficus Rob Matthews vroeg zich af hoe het er zou uit zien als je die encyclopedie in boekvorm goot. Het zijn wel enkel de Featured articles, zeg maar de artikels die als de beste worden beschouwd.

Ik ben altijd al fan geweest van straffe quotes of oneliners. Het is ongelooflijk wat voor wijsheid er soms in een simpel zinnetje schuilt. En bovendien is het altijd tof om tijdens gesprekken met een toepasselijke quote af te komen die de hele situatie perfect samenvat.

Wat ook tof is , is als je die quotes of oneliners in een knap design giet zodat ze ook visueel aaspreken. En dat is nu juist wat graficus Stéphane Massa-Bidal, alias Retrofuturs , heeft gedaan. Enkele voorbeelden van zijn werk vind je hier beneden , de vele andere kan je bewonderen door hier te klikken.

also, it’s a french site, so the wording might come across a little strange sometimes – it’s automatically (babelfish) translated. for example, apple’s new magic mouse is translated as ‘magic foam’.
