This episode focuses on Scar and the Elric brothers (Roy was added at the idle list. For now…) as both teams are headed to the north of Amestris. Expect to see the new characters, fight scenes and also… Armstrong’s sister (Yup… not the super girlish one from the first FMA). Other than that, enjoy reading~

Since the episode started from a recap… let’s do it as well…

Last time. The Elric brothers were searching for May Chang to know the secrets of her Alchemy. With the help of Roy and the disguised granny Grumman, they have learned that May Chang is headed to the North. They have also been invited at the Fuhrer’s house after meeting Selim, Bradley’s son. There they saw the other side of the Fuhrer.

Scar, on the other hand, was playing tag with the army so that they wouldn’t know their exact route. However, the stake increases when it is revealed that Kimblee will be responsible on taking down Scar.

So.. let’s start…

And we all thought those things are just for decoration...

Kimblee is now observing the area where the train is. It seems that Scar made a good runaway this time. However, Kimblee found good evidence. They went to the forest to look for the route that is covered by rock due to a land slide. There, they found signs of transmutations. Yup, they are now positive that Scar is headed north.

Unique!

Edward and Alphonse excitedly went out of the train station to see the snowy city of the north. It is revealed that this is their second time to see a place filled with snow. The first one happened when they are kids, which is a rare event at Resembool.

After Edward rest from his epic fall outside the train station, the two decided to go find something to eat.

Kimblee: "Posing for the fans is what I do best"

Kimblee’s force arrived somewhere at north, still looking for any clues where Scar is. A soldier then reported about where Scar is together with a hooded man. Kimblee, who is too eager to fight Scar, told everyone that he’ll face Scar alone and disallow any help from his comrade.

Kimblee: "How do you feel about a james bond pose?"

Scar and the hooded man are now on the train, which is located somewhere at the north. Scar, uneasily bothered about the surrounding, peeks from the outside. Noone is there.

Scar peeks again after hearing a new train approaching. Kimblee jumps from the military train to the train where Scar is. Kimblee went inside the compartment and saw the hooded man. Sadly, the hooded man isn’t what he thought to be Dr. Marcoh.

Scar goes for a surprise attack on Kimblee. Kimblee dodges Scar’s attack swiftly.

Since every battle with Scar has this

The fight goes for a halt. The two reintroduce each other just by looking at each other (The trigger is that overused flashback of Kimblee murdering everyone with a simultaneous explosion powered up by the stone).

Scar rampages, destroying the whole compartment.

Kimblee: "Oh no... my source of power is gone!"

After that, the real introduction started even though they know each other really well now. Scar continued his rampage after Kimblee told about the murder (Really surprising that he’s got a good memory).

Kimblee knew that he was at disadvantage since he hasn’t got any exercise ever since he entered the jail. Kimblee thought that he can still win… however…

gack...

Scar hastily throws a sharp metallic object towards Kimblee. Kimblee, who is indeed got rusty from his time in jail, got impaled by the object instantly. Kimblee, knowing that he lost the fight, destroyed the chain of the train, separating him and Scar. The two fighters was indeed disappointed about the result of the fight.

Psychopaths are what they needed here at FMA

The train stops as soon as the train conductor found that one of their cars is missing (if you add the destroyed one, that’s almost half of the train) even though the military themselves told them not to stop.

There they found the injured Kimblee. Kimblee, however, scold the train conductor why did they stopped the train with pride.

Now you know why Marcoh brought May Chang with him: Nobody will watch him if he's alone.

Marcoh and May Chang were already at the north, without much difficulty. They are near at where Scar hid his brother’s works.

Those extras knows that the army is indeed evil

Some random Winry screentime (no point to discuss)

The Elric brothers reached the mountain path leading to the Briggs fortress. Upon arriving, the person who brought them there told that the place is owned by the army and they will die if they stray from the path.

The warning is indeed true. Edward and Alphonse are now lost but didn’t gave hope since their teacher *cough*Izumi*cough* told them that she survived a month there. While talking, a huge silhouette appeared and attacked them.

The silhouette appeared to be a human. He first immobilized Alphonse and continued attacking Edward. Edward however is at disadvantage due to his automail malfunction.

That is rubber you idiot!

The man catches Edward and started grinding Edward’s automail using his crocodile-like automail. Edward tried to use alchemy but it didn’t work. Edward, who is much afraid of losing his automail than his life, calls for a time out. Alphonse threw his head at Edward. Edward then uses it to stop their opponent’s automail.

The man praised Edward for doing such a nice job for using a regular automail. However, the Elric brothers are now surrounded.

No points! I'm too scared to score her...

The general appeared unto them. Armstrong’s sister: Olivier Mira Armstrong. Edward introduced himself, however Olivier didn’t trust them at all until she found a letter from her brother (which she ripped without even looking at the letter).

Olivier invited the two inside, but stated that she will definitely not treat them as kids.

-30 points!

Yes! At last… I’m now on time. I should make faster blogs next time…

Anyway, the episode seems fine. 7.7/10 if you ask me. I also noticed the two background songs which are indeed good (When the Elric brothers arrived at North and Scar vs Kimblee). I haven’t listened to everything the soundtrack 1 has but those two are indeed good.

What else? Oh… Olivier Mira Armstrong. I didn’t expect that girl is a new character (The first thought that comes to my mind is Riza… until Wikipedia killed me).

Also.. Scar didn’t do a good job on smashing Marcoh’s face.

Next episode:

Hooh… We’ll be seeing Sloth this time eh. Let’s just expect that the next episode’s battle will be a good one.

Hey, everybody! Happy Thanksgiving!

You know what that means. . . I’ve been blogging as the Duct Tape Alchemist for a whole freaking year now! Isn’t that incredible? And, man, a lot has happened since that first post:

• I wrote 67,795 words of fanfiction
• I lived in Europe for 4 months
• I founded an anime club with over 30 registered members
• I sold out and joined Twitter
• I nearly was killed by 4 animals and a flipping jetski
• I went to my first anime convention. And my second.
• I wore my hair both longer and shorter than ever before

And that’s just me. the world itself has changed a lot since last year. But I won’t get in to all that. Instead, I’m going to revisit my very first (real) post. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

Well, you could be a touch more enthusiastic. This is my special day, ok?

The Top Ten Sexiest Anime Men: 2009 Edition

1. Cho Hakkai from Saiyuki: Clearly the winner this year, Hakkai is everything a woman like me could want in a bishie. He’s tall, smart, tortured, scarred, and really flipping hot! Not to mention the fact that he has a dragon that transforms into a jeep. . .

2. Roy Mustang from FullMetal Alchemist: Still in second place from last year, Roy’s manipulative nature and undeniable charm make him a strong competitor this year as well. Not to mention the fact that he is my Anime Club designation. . .

3. Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh: A dark horse this year, Kaiba has emerged near the top in spite of his being a complete jerk. I can’t help it. I love him in all his pouty, rich-boy glory. Not to mention his dragon fetish. . .

4. Ginko from Mushi-Shi: Down in popularity from last year, Ginko just slides into the top few slots by virtue of his indifferent attitude, passion for the supernatural, and pretty green eyes.

5. Asato Tzusuki from Descendants of Darkness: Another return canditate from last year, this bisexual bishie continues to pull out the stops with his kind violet eyes and incredible power.

6. Kyoya Ootori from Ouran High School Host Club: Still a handsome manipulator with a kind heart, just like most of the men on this list, Kyoya is still one of my favorite for his complexity.

7. Seiji Mido from Moonphase: A new face this year, he’s a psychic with incredible spiritual powers and shiny long hair. Not to mention, he’s really cool. . . <sigh>

8. Keisei Tagami from Shikabane Hime: A contracted priest, loyal older brother, caring friend, and barely-closet pervert, Keisei is a man’s man and a woman’s bishie.

9.Sesshomaru from Inuyasha: Barely missing out on the list last year, this is one demon who belongs among the hottest bishies. His indifference and mad fighting skills (not to mention his fluffy) are the stuff of introverted fangirls’ dreams.

10. L from Death Note: Again, he’s not really a bishie, but there’s just something about him that just makes me go crazy. Probably because he’s a genius.

Just a quick note before I begin — I’ve decided to drop Letter Bee. That choice is more a reflection on my lack of time than the quality of the series, though I am not certain I would have continued blogging it past this season, anyway (particularly with a surefire awesome show like Durarara on the horizon for winter). Plus, I want to catch up on Cross Game and finish up Kare Kano, both of which I have neglected for too long now. So, apologies to anyone who read and enjoyed my Letter Bee posts, but anyone who likes the series should be more than happy with Scamp’s posts at Bokutachi no Blog. Go read them!

Anyway, this episode is solid but not exactly amazing. (I just need to stop hyping things up altogether. Every time I do, I set up Epi for disappointment. I’m sorry, man! Not a word from me regarding anything in the future.)

As short as Kimblee and Scar’s skirmish is — and as absurdly ill-prepared as Kimblee is for it — I think it is a decent fight. At the very least, Scar chucking a pipe into Kimblee’s abdomen is pretty memorable. Scar could represent Ishbal in the Olympics with that kind of skill. And if a biased Russian judge keeps going after Ishbal in some of the events, all Scar has to do is “accidentally” throw a javelin into the guy’s head. Who would argue with Scar? The guy would just blow shit up everywhere. He would be the greatest Olympic athlete in history. He could probably smoke a bowl with Michael Phelps and get away with it, too, if he wanted.

At least before his massive brain fart in his fight against Scar, Kimblee showed some keen investigation skill in tracking the guy down. Hilariously, he is actually dressed sort of like a high class detective. I could see Kimblee as a classy detective who usurps the law by killing the bad guys he investigates. Who here would watch that show? I would definitely watch it. Give Kimblee some David Caruso sunglasses, and he will be set for stardom.

(Never really thought about this before, but Kimblee left prison dressed in that kickin’ white suit, right? Did he have it there the whole time? If so, then either Amestris prisons have some awesome dry cleaning policies, or that thing reeks of mothballs and the elderly. If the suit was provided for Kimblee upon his exit from the prison, then Father must be very strict about his low level subordinates looking good when they are doing his work. Most of the Homunculi are excused from this rule because they’re like his kids.)

With all the crowing about Olivier Armstrong I have doing, I can’t believe I forgot to give Buccaneer his proper due. His short fight with Ed and Al reminded me that he is pretty big badass in his own right. How could I not hype up a huge dude with a freakin’ chainsaw arm? It’s like Ash from the Evil Dead movies leaped into the FMA world after mooching off Barry Bonds’ steroid collection for three years. If Buccaneer were here, he’d chainsaw my head for that egregious slight. I’m sorry, man! And, Olivier, well, what can I say? She doesn’t make a great first impression, because she’s a total hardass (as is obvious after 0.000000001 seconds of screen time for her), but hey. I grew to love her.

One last thing — I had a few laughs when reading the confusion and speculation about Ed’s alchemy not working at the end of this episode. Not that I want to poke a bit of fun at people for honestly trying to think through things and find answers on their own, but the real reason is a good deal less complicated than people might think. I probably should not talk much, however, since I have made myself look like an ass more than a few times in the past coming up with wild explanations for events that ended up being quite simple in the end!

“FanArt” zu einer Fanfiction Ed krabbelt da tatsächlich aus seinem Grab. Natürlich ist er kein Zombie. Ich fand nur die vorstellung irgendwie lustig x)

I am re-watching this fantastic series now. This Anime television series holds a special place in my heart. I watched this during a point in my life where I was developing my taste for movies. It was perfect for me because of its diverse depth. Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the premier television series that excels in story arches, character development, and experiential theory.

I highly recommend this television series for people who want to grow deeper in their intellectual taste in movies along with their ability to digest characters. Each character is has a highly investigated psyche, each story arch and plot is littered with brilliance, and most of all each experience of characters teaches an experiential life truth/theory/principles.

I might be over-hyping this, but for me it was something that formed my perception of film and media. I highly recommend this to anyone that desires to take a step to the finer side of life.

We started off with Kimberlee. where he and his crew finds a blockage, which he discovers its from Scar, where he goes and continue his hunt. Meanwhile Ed and Al arrives north and is fascinated, and remembers the memories when they were younger, makign snowmans.. etc

Kimberlee catches up with Scar, and when Kimberlee thought he had found Dr.Marcoh which is the other old guy, Scar pops in and attacks, but remember that hand from the Isbvhal war. Scar attacks, pierces Kimberlee and Kimberlee uses an attack to flee.

Meanwhile, May Chang and Dr.Marcoh goes off in the snowy field searching for a book.
Meanwhile Ed and Al, were dropped off and they were soon approached by an clamp military man, who tried to saw Ed’s automail off, but was unable. Later they were approached by Olivia Armstrong, who is Armstrong’s sis. Back to May Chang, they arrive at a house and has found their item.

Nachdem ich gestern diese tolle 4-step-comic-mäßige “Geschichte” fabriziert hab, passierten noch so einige crackige Kritzeleien. (paar relativ normale sind au dabei =D) Ich find sie ja lustig. Muss nich jeder. Sind alle zu FMA. Leichte Spoiler zu Kapitel 53 bzw Brotherhood Episode 26 enthalten. Nix weltbewegendes allerdings. Erwartet keine Zeichnerischen Meisterleistungen.

Let’s do sum Genderchange. Inspiriert von diversen Fanfictions, die im Web rumkursieren. Und nein, ich hab keine davon gelesen.

Da ja im Anime bald die Briggs Arc anfängt (nächste folge d.h. morgen yaay) Wollte ich unbedingt mal Ed mit seinem Wintermantel zeichnen Krasse aufwändige colo ftw.

Well, I’ve recently come across a list with the markers identifying one as an “otaku“, according to a survey held in Japan. One of the items had described “Anime T-Shirts”, as a negative thing, and I thought that impression should be fixed.

I do agree, there are the totally drawn, overdrawn, over-the-top fashion-victim shirts you see people wear, such as the neon orange and yellow 100% drawn Dragon Ball Z T-Shirts, but there are plenty of shirts one can wear, and which look good, even, and perhaps especially when those who view them do not know that they mark one as a geek. Heck, I’m sure many non-geeks will proudly wear them.

Lagann, on one of my new shirts!

I had the “pleasure” of going out and buying some l0ng-sleeved more fashionable shirts yesterday, and to be honest, I felt quite a bit like Madarame, from Genshiken. My older shirts are very comfortable, but being flannel, they tend to give a certain pajama feel. And I decided something had to be done. Well, imagine my surprise when I saw Lagann at a very mainstream shop.

For those who do not know, Lagann is the “Head” that Simon finds in the first episode of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and which later provides the “Head” for the joint (and titular) mecha, Gurren Lagann. Upon seeing this, I had to ask my mother who accompanied me, whether or not Renuar, the shop where I got the shirt, was Israeli owned. It turns out that it is. I then checked for any mangled English, because that is also quite common on Israeli shirts (Gifted Extremely, Project Your…). Well, once I checked the different colours the shirts came in, I settled upon this one.

Now, Lagann looks nice, the text seems sufficiently modern, and it is sold by an apparel chain that is quite large and mainstream in Israel. I wonder how many people who will wear this shirt will even know of its anime provenance. I mean, even I, when I first saw the shirt, took a couple of seconds to realize what I was seeing, and that it wasn’t the head of Optimus Prime

And that’s a main way for geeky things to be worn mainstream, because the mainstream can both wear and see them without knowing what they are. But then again, when it is this way, they stop being “Badges”, that when people “in the know” see, they recognize you as one of their own, such as the Order of the Black Knights emblem from Code Geass, or “Don’t Forget October third” from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Well, in future installments I’ll share some of my really cool geeky T-Shirts, which one can wear proudly amongst geek intolerant people, even.

Mir war langweilig, ja.

I, the Duct Tape Alchemist, have decided to work on something new this summer: a fan-webcomic. It’s like fanfiction, but in manga form. I think my story lends itself very nicely to the manga format. The only problem, of course is that my art skills are seriously lacking in this department. I can draw large single-frame pictures pretty well, but the actual manga format is a bit beyond my skill level.

Therefore, I will be auditioning a partner-in-crime to illustrate my great epic for me. Interested parties should hop over to my fanfiction, pick a scene from Mushi-Hime they like, and draw it out for me. I’d especially like to see your take on Akira Satomi, my main character.

I won’t be able to pay you anything, which I suppose will discourage a few people. But you will be rewarded with the great honor of working on the first DTA web series, as well as the potential for donations when we get popular.

For those who are not familiar with the story, the comic will follow the storyline for Destination:Elric. Essentially, Akira is being sent through a series of gates trying to find misplaced characters and restoring them to their home world. It will, completed, encompass at least 26 anime, becoming one of the largest crossovers ever attempted. Sound interesting?

+ Die Leiden eines Mangaka – Teil 6

In der Tat habe ich die 7. Seite bereits fertig, kommt aber erst am Samstag^^

Was ein anstrengender Tag. Schule ist weniger motivierend obwohl wir mit 5 Stunden einen eher kurzen Tag hatten. Aber eine Stunde Physik ist wie 45stunden pausenlos unterricht. Vor allem wenn man nach dem Unterricht in die Stadt gehen will um sich 5 Fullmetal Alchemist Bände abzuholen! (Das kauft man wirklich nicht alle Tage.)

Jetzt bin ich glücklich^^ Und die 2. DVD von FMA kam auch noch dazu. Und meine Freundin konnte nur zuschauen, wie ich abspasste xD Kyaaa, ich muss diese DVD schauen. Aber ich will auch die Mangas lesen — arg^^” xD Endlich hab ich stolze 11 Bände!!!

Eine weitere Quelle meiner Freude ist, dass ich heute meine Anmeldung zum Violineunterricht abgegeben habe. Möglicherweise muss ich aufgrund der Überlastung der Lehrkräfte bis nach Weihnachten warten aber was solls, besser spät als nie^^ Ich wünschte ich könnte meine Violine schon ausleihen und meine Nachbarn damit terrorisieren

Woha, ich bin happy, happy, happy >< Naja, kommt auch demnächst.
Desweiteren arbeite ich gerade an eine witzige Special Side Story, in der nochmal alle neuen Charaktere vorkommen!!
Tja, ich sollte wohl endlich wieder mit dem Lernen anfangen^^

Ich hatte schon aufgegeben und aus frust begonnen ein neues MMORPG zu downloaden (eins von der Sorte, für welche ich zwei Wochen keine Zeit mehr finde) als plötzlich die Klingel rang. Meine Mutter war nicht da, also konnte sie keinen Schock vom Riesenpacket kriegen, in dem der Kalender war.

Ich hab mich so wahnsinnig gefreut und wie bei Weihnachten sofort begonnen auszupacken. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass Hermes auch noch um halb drei kommen wird^^

Ich habe während meiner Isolation kein einziges mal den Drang gehabt meinen Schreibtisch sauber zu machen xD aber es ist nur halb so harmlos wie es aussieht!
(Und wenn schon, wenn man den Tag mit Mangazeichnen beschäftigt ist hat man kein Leben um aufzuräumen xD)

Wow, schaut euch diesen Kalender an! Und gerade mal für 10€ auf Amazon zu haben ><

Samstag stand für mich schon fest, dass ich den Soul Eater Kalender wählen werde und am Sonntag kam die große Frage. Meine Freundin Iro schlug mir vor ich solle beide nehmen, genau wie sie einen Kalender zu “Stupid Story” bekommt und sich selbst einen von “30 seconds to mars” zulegt. Ganz soweit sind wir nicht gegangen obwohl wie es beide in Betracht gezogen hätten…

Hm, ich hab das Gefühl April und Mai werden meine Lieblingsmonate^^ Wie schön, man wacht auf und weiß genau, die Fullmetal Alchemist Charaktere sehen dich bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung und du freust dich in der Schule zu sein und ihren Blicken ausgewichen zu sein. Ich denke ein schönes Jahr steht uns bevor… (*fühlt sich von Postern immer beobachtet*)
Und ja, ich habe schon jetzt den Monat April aufgeschlagen. Wozu den stinköden Kalender 2009 aufschlagen, ich hab jetzt bilder anzusabbern!!! xD

Hach, ich liebe mein Leben, wenn ich mein Geld für sowas ausgeben darf^^

Und dann die Bleach DVDs^^ 20 Folgen für 20 Euro ist wirklich ein Spottpreis und die englische Synchronisation ist auch nicht schlecht. Den Anime kann ich also so nochmal mit englischer Synchro durchgehen, brauche ich jetzt nur noch die nächsten zwei Boxen (genau, BRAUCHE). Auch wenn die etwas teurer sind.

Rein theoretisch könnte ich mit meinem Geld vom Austragen beide Boxen kaufen, aber erst sind 5 Bände Fullmetal Alchemist dran, die ich mir morgen im Buchhandel meines Vertrauens bestelle, dann muss ich 30 Euro für restliche Geschenke beiseite legen und ich hab noch die zweite Fullmetal Alchemist DVD zu bezahlen, die momentan auf dem Weg ist. Dann hab ich noch 20 Euro für die Mangas im Dezember übrig, die ich immer kaufe (Bleach, Soul Eater und Shugo Chara) und dann hab ich alles verpulverisiert, was ich diesen Monat verdient habe xDDD
Hoffentlich bleibt noch etwas von den 30 Euro übrig. Ich hab eigentlich gar nicht mehr so viele Leute zu versorgen…

Genau, den Stapel meiner dann 11 Fullmetal Alchemist Bände muss ich auch abfotografieren xD Den müsste ich Donnerstag haben.

Apropos Donnerstag, Donnerstag möchte ich nach der Schule immer zum Violineunterricht gehen^^ Wir müssen mich noch Anmelden und so aber für meine Mutter und mich steht die Sache schon fest^^. Wird das toll, meine Nachbarn die nächsten 8 Monate mit den schiefen Klängen zu terrorisieren xD

Los sucesos se precipitan, y el día elegido está cada vez más cerca. Las intrigas se suceden en Central cuando todos intentan aprovechar el vacío de poder creado con la desaparición del Generalísimo. Pero el padre de los homúnculos lo tiene todo previsto…

Mientras Ed y Greed se enfrentan a Pride, el liberado Alphonse le pide ayuda a Hohenheim para vencerle definitivamente… Parecen conseguirlo cuando encierran a Pride en el interior de una montaña de piedra dejando a Alphonse con él para vigilarle… a pesar de la oposición de Ed.

Aprovechando la confusión posterior, Greed se marcha para seguir con sus planes de conquistar el mundo. En el interior de la montaña, Alphonse descubre, con sorpresa por su parte, que Pride parece admirar la determinación de los humanos y que es un tocapelotas que no deja de golpear la cabeza de (la armadura de) Alphonse con un palo…

En Central, Mustang y sus hombres – que recordemos han raptado a la mujer de King Bradley – la están liando parda… forman un grupo de cinco hombres y están arrasando al ejército de Central ellos solos… o quizás no estén tan solos como parece. Lo más impresionante es que están venciendo a los ejércitos sin causar ni una sola baja en sus enemigos… Pero todo tiene un límite y se están quedando sin munición para seguir la lucha. En su apoyo aparece un camión de helados cargado de munición y conducido por Rebecca, la amiga de Riza Hawkeye, y la “difunta” teniente María Ross… enviadas por el “retirado” alférez Havoc.

Mientras Mustang crea el caos en las calles, Olivia Armstrong lo crea entre los mandamases de Central, les aprieta, les dispara y les amenaza con la llegada del ejército de Briggs y las consecuencias de la misma.

Ed, Hohenheim, Scar, Ran Fan y las quimeras que les acompañan se dirigen a la Central para colarse en la guarida subterránea del homúnculo principal (Padre) y detener sus planes, pero primero tienen que meterse en la ciudad y llegar hasta él. Una vez en los túneles, deciden separarse en dos grupos: Ed, Scar y las quimeras seguirán un camino y Hohenheim y Ran Fan seguirán el otro.

En la Central, los militares que se quedaron al mando, desesperados y sin opciones, deciden activar el ejército de seres sin mente que ocultan bajo Central, pero… no son capaces de controlarles. El ejército se encuentra con Ed, Scar y las quimeras que deciden liquidarles antes de seguir su camino… pero son demasiado resistentes y les cuesta mucho más de lo que esperan.

Al pueblo donde se encuentran encerrados bajo la montaña Alphonse y Pride llega Kimbley, el alquimista carmesí, con la misión de liberar al encerrado Pride. En lugar de escapar, Alphonse se queda a proteger a la quimera que se había quedado vigilando – herida por Kimbley – y esta, agradeciéndole su ayuda, le entrega la piedra filosofal que Kimbley había perdido en el norte…

En los subterráneos, Envy ha conseguido librarse del frasco en el que la transportaba Mei Chan y ha recuperado su cuerpo…

En Central, Olivia Armstrong se encuentra frente a frente con Sloth… y en las catacumbas, Hohenheim, después de librarse de Ran Fan enviándola a buscar a su amado Ling, se dirigen directamente al encuentro de Padre… para detenerle.

Y bueno… está la cosa movidita, ¿no? Tenemos a la mayoría de los personajes luchando por su vida (o a punto de empezarla): Ed, Scar y dos de las quimeras están peleando con un ejército de seres sin mente a los que no afecta su alquimia; Alphonse se está enfrentando en solitario, con una piedra filosofal eso sí, a Pride y a Kimbley; Mei Chan está frente a Envy – aunque no parece demasiado preocupada -; Olivia Armstrong sólo tiene una espada para enfrentarse a Sloth – y si no me equivoco mucho, su hermano no tardará en llegar a la pelea -; Armstrong y sus hombres tienen que cargar con la esposa de Bradley mientras se enfrentan al ejército de Central – intentando no matar a nadie, recordémoslo -; y Hohenheim está frente a Padre… Los únicos personajes “importantes” que no están en situaciones de vida o muerte son Ling, Ran Fan y Fu que tienen pendiente un encuentro mutuo con Greed… y Alex Louis Armstrong que no creo que tarde en aparecer para ayudar a su hermana.

Buen dibujo, un guión interesante lleno de acción a raudales… y la tensión subiendo tomo tras tomo. La verdad es que la autora se está metiendo en un berenjenal importante… ¿cómo va a conseguir finalizar la serie de una manera igual de apoteósica a como lo está consiguiendo ahora? Porque la serie está alcanzando un nivel impresionante. Llegados a este punto… sólo puede cagarla, ¿no? Pero hasta el momento es muy, pero que muy buena…
