Back when Adam was 9/10 she had told her male childcare sitter <a href="http://www.heavy.com/news/2012/12/adam-lanzas-babysitter-mom-said-never-turn-your-back-on-him/" target="_blank">&#8220;Never turn your back on him, not even to go to the bathroom!&#8221;</a> I wonder if she was so private because of a Mother&#8217;s Shame or because of <a class="zem_slink" title="Society" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Society" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Societal</a> <a class="zem_slink" title="Shunning" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shunning" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Shunning</a>? Everyone said she spoke highly of him with a great deal of love.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I know all about societal shunning, I used to work at a group home &#38; residential homes for Adults with varying mental, emotional &#38; physical disorders, and I can tell you when we were in public, a large majority of the people, gave us weary stares &#38; kept their distance. We need to not be fearful of varied dysfunctional illness be it mental, emotional or physical, but educate &#38; help. (even though it can be very dangerous) Preventative Care is another key to being educated. People need other people&#8217;s help. Even people without disorders &#38; dysfunctional behaviors.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">When I worked at a high risk group home &#38; in residential, the illness and or mood swings for our folks was sometimes very dangerous. One time I had to intervene a 380 pound male resident with a big butcher knife held over his head because he wanted to kill a female resident who was sitting at the kitchen table. I was so utterly frightened&#8230;Preventative Care is not the same thing as avoidance. We are all in this together, it affects us all. None of us would want to be shunned ever, I know I would not want to be. No-one would, not even a mentally, emotionally or physically challenged individual &#38; their families who love them.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>I wanted to share this AWESOME <a class="zem_slink" title="Article One of the United States Constitution" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_One_of_the_United_States_Constitution" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Article I</a> seen on <a class="zem_slink" title="Facebook" href="http://facebook.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage">FaceBook</a>. This Article Really Opens Eyes To <a class="zem_slink" title="The Inside" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inside" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">The Inside</a> Scoop of a Mother&#8217;s Inside Peril, she is raw and truthfully straightforward: </strong></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Three days before 20 year-old Adam Lanza killed his mother, then opened fire on a classroom full of <a class="zem_slink" title="Connecticut" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=41.6,-72.7&#38;spn=1.0,1.0&#38;q=41.6,-72.7 (Connecticut)&#38;t=h" target="_blank" rel="geolocation">Connecticut</a> kindergartners, my 13-year old son Michael (name changed) missed his bus because he was wearing the wrong color <a class="zem_slink" title="Trousers" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trousers" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">pants</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><em>“I can wear these pants,” he said, his tone increasingly belligerent, the black-hole pupils of his eyes swallowing the blue irises.</em></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><em>“They are navy blue,” I told him. “Your school’s dress code says black or khaki pants only.”</em></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><em>“They told me I could wear these,” he insisted. “You’re a stupid bitch. I can wear whatever pants I want to. This is <a class="zem_slink" title="United States" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&#38;spn=10.0,10.0&#38;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667 (United%20States)&#38;t=h" target="_blank" rel="geolocation">America</a>. I have rights!”</em></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><em>“You can’t wear whatever pants you want to,” I said, my tone affable, reasonable. “And you definitely cannot call me a stupid bitch. You’re grounded from electronics for the rest of the day. Now get in the car, and I will take you to school.”</em></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I live with a son who is <a class="zem_slink" title="Mental disorder" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_disorder" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">mentally ill</a>. I love my son. But he terrifies me. <a title="Mothers with children like Adam Lanza" href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/16/i-am-adam-lanzas-mother-mental-illness-conversation_n_2311009.html" target="_blank">(read full story here)</a></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>It Is Important We All Learn From This Horrid Loss Of Lives Best We Can, To Make Sure It Never Ever Happens Again. We Can&#8217;t Keep Calling Him A Monster Although &#38; Even Though It Is A Monstrous Act.  Pointing Finger Blame Is Not Going To Resolve It Either. These Parents Lost Their Future.  </strong></p>
