The London Marathon for many people, is the culmination of months and in some cases years of training for that one special day. When you cross the finish line the hours of training and months of dedication come to an end but are replaced with satisfaction, pride, pain and discomfort (thankfully the pain and discomfort pass far quicker then the pride and satisfaction!!) Myself and James’s experience has been slightly different, don’t misunderstand me, crossing the finish line was a huge relief, immensely proud, satisfying and strangely emotional, but it has become another challenge completed on our journey to the states later this year. 221 more words
