Bueno pues ya que mizhimo menciono a FLCL, lo recomendare.

De enfrente hacia atras: Haruko, Naota, Kanty

Este anime o mejor dicho estas ovas, solo cuentan con seis capítulos (la verdad es que prefiero los animes cortos).

La historia es muy bizarra y se disfruta ampliamente, esta nos cuenta como en una ciudad en donde nunca ocurren cosas importantes y la vida de Naota sigue su curso sin nada que la interrumpa, de ningún lugar (o tal vez del espacio exterior) aparece una misteriosa chica quien hace que todo cambie. Saliendome de la historia, el diseño de los dibujos es muy dinamico y cambia constantemente, e incluso se llega a manejar un estilo MANGA.

Robots de otra dimensión, pelas con guitarras eléctricas, muy buena música (que corre por parte de the pillows) y muchísimas cosas graciosas esperan en esta enorme confusión.

La historia es muy completa apesar del número de capítulos, así que no hay pretextos para no disfrutarla, además de que es una de mis favoritas.

Getting right down to it, I’ve been molested once again, over the phone.

At least in the manga adaption of Ju On, the phones don’t look like sh*t.

I only watched FLCL about 2-3 weeks ago. I think I’m going to continue working chronologically backwards with Gainax. =_= (yeah, that’s right, I haven’t seen Eva).

For those who don’t know, I’m  an Ouran fan, even if the anime is cheeeeeeeeesy, it’s blatantly shoujo, and it becomes corny at random points. I can’t really explain why I like it. Maybe it’s just Tama-chan that makes it worth watching.

The dub is alright (hah I got the first 13 ep. dvds for a gift), but there are 2(?) voices that are incredibly annoying. The main one is the manager girl (gah already forgot her name), though her character is supposed to be a bit annoying, so I guess it fits. :/

I watched the first 5 Hellsing OVAs about 3 weeks ago, pure awesome. How can anyone not love Schrodinger? I’m talking about you, Al, shooting him through the mouth like that.

Also, if you noticed my post last year about me being bored by Gundam 00…RECANT’D. I watched up to episode 18, and I had no idea epicness existed in such large quantities. Even the dub is good (I have to watch the dub; SciFi, because my internet is screwing up).

Argh. I also forgot to mention that I finished Higurashi Kai (I’m posting about all this stuff I did a month ago o_o,). It was…nice. Being alive is…nice. Growing taller and obtaining bigger breasts is…ni-wait…RIKA! Stop editing my posts!

Hoy, serie esencial. FLCL (Furi Kuri).

No puedo con los Otakus. Son superiores a mi. Intento tener una base de datos de películas, música y series extensa con la que poder impresionar y molestar a mis amistades y así demostrarles lo vasta que es mi cultura pop. Pero no lo consigo con los Otakus. Estos siempre tienen una serie que acaba de salir sólo en Japón, una banda sonora en cantonés o la última de Pwer Kos-Pin. Maldición.

FLCL (aka Furi Kuri, aka Fooly Cooly, aka…) es una serie que trata sobre Naota, un chico demasiado serio para su edad a quien un día una extraña golpea desde su moto con un bajo eléctrico. A partir de entonces, su vida se convierte en un caos, con robots amaestrados que caen del cielo, piratas encarcelados deseosos de conquistar universos y cosas extrañas que dan miedo y salen de tu cabeza.

Bueno, en realidad, FLCL no trata de nada de eso, sino que es un estudio sobre el complicado paso de la adolescencia a la vida adulta. Los cambios físicos y psológicos y el stress que supone convivir con las obligaciones de un adulto con los deseos de un niño, inmerso en terribles conflictos personales y familias desestructuradas.

Bueno, en realidad, no trata de eso tampoco, sino que es un viaje alucinante y alucinado en el que se dan la mano monstruos, alienígenas, atractivas desconocidas, corporaciones médicas con base en edificios con forma de plancha, pre-universitarias que fuman y en el que nada tiene sentido.

Bueno, en realidad nadie se pone de acuerdo sobre de qué trata y cómo se debe interpretar FLCL. Lo único cierto es que son 6 episodios de 25 minutos con un ritmo trepidante, una animación fluida y preciosista, una amalgama de referencias, guiños y parodias de otras series, un diseño de producción sencillamente exquisito, tan precioso como impactante y que hay que verla un par de veces para empezar a entender algo.

Y la B.S. de los Pillows mola.

Sencillamente deliciosa. Deliciosamente complicada.

En otro orden de cosas, acabo de caer en la cuenta de que nadie me dijo que la foto del cura pederasta se encontraba, en realidad, en Montserrat. Muy mal. Voy a llamar a Calambur para comentarlo.

Historias de móviles. #357: ayer me di cuenta de que tenía un mensaje en la carpeta de “No Enviados”. Decía sólo “Luego recuérdame”. Lo debí de dejar a mitad de escribir porque algo o alguien me debió de distraer, y el caso es que ya no recuerdo qué quería decir ni a quién se lo quería enviar. No obstante, como mensaje, me parece precioso. “Luego recuérdame”
