Ein Tip vom Drucker-Service-Kiel

With the vast internet and all of the many services available the more you know can never hurt you. It is important to know what you want from a type of service before joining, doing some research, and picking the best service to fit your needs.

Sadly in every service I have ever used there are always these people that try to turn that service into something it’s not. If a service is feature rich, they want a lite version…if a service is lite they want more features. Why people don’t pick the service they want in the first place has always baffled me. For me I look for the most simplistic set-up, that is reliable, has a liberal privacy policy, and can load on several different kinds of devices with no issue. In this pursuit I watch dozens of products, join several to test them out, and actually use the ones I like the most. Along the way I try to point my logical path out to others.

Two products for email I have been speaking praises about for those that are looking for a strong feature set are Zenbe and Orgoo. For me these services have too much going on, but I think some people might find them useful. In recent months though I have stepped away from that praise. So a little update:

Zenbe: is still kicking but apparently is a much smaller service than I had thought. Earlier in the year they launched a paid Business service…while at the same time they turned off sign-ups for the free version. Since that time there has been no commitment to the free service from the Zenbe Team and no updates. A team that is so small that it can’t maintain all its products is worrying. I am downgrading Zenbe from a “use” to a “watch”.

Orgoo: This service basically is an amped up email/chat mash-up. It is way more than just email with a chat window. For those people obsessed with chatting in a email window this would be a very exciting service. However, it went offline more than a month ago due to a censorship issue and hasn’t been herd from since. I am down grading Orgoo from a “watch” to a “stay tuned” Ill let you know when or if they will be back up.

One downside to all the many services coming out is that not all of them will make it. The days of having just a couple providers that are very stable are gone.

Well the two services I really liked are basically off the table now. On to some new picks!

1. Zoho Mail: Take the simplicity of Gmails interface, add the ability to have several inboxes to manager multiple accounts (not one universal one, each account gets its own inbox within the same window), no threaded emails like Gmail, unlimited storage, a good user policy, optional add-on services like a notebook and online office editor, built in chat,  a well established company, and you get Zoho Mail. My rating “use it”.

2. Fuser: Collect all your email accounts and social networks in one place. Once there you can reply to emails, social networking content, even send a tweet all from one place instead of a five different websites.  My rating: “try it”

Diese Einbautips sind übergreifend auf alle Hersteller, sei es nun Canon, Hp oder andere…

Zu beachten sind:
1. Den Film nie knicken, jeder kleinste Knick macht den Film unbrauchbar

2. Das beiliegende Leitfett sparsam verwenden.
Erst das alte Fett vorsichtig, mit einem Lappen, abwischen und dann
das neue Fett auf die Kanten des Heizelements auftragen.

3. Auf dem Film ist ein schwarzer Rand, bitte unbedingt auf die Seite achten,
wo dieser Rand sich vorher befand.

Einige Brother Geräte zeigen nach ca 100.000 Seiten die Fehlermeldung, das die Heizeinheit/Fuser, die Lasereinheit, die Trommeleinheit verschlissen sind. Diese Teile sollten nun erneuert werden.

Wir fragen uns nur, warum man eine funktionierende Lasereinheit nach schon 100.000 Seiten wechseln sollte…Bei vielen anderen Hersteller halten diese oft ein Druckerlebenlang…und das sind manchmal mehrere 100.000 Seiten!

Wir arbeiten gerade an einer Anleitung, wie Sie dieses umgehen können.

Sicherlich, wenn der Ausdruck schlechter wird, das Gerät “rappelt” oder eine andere “Macke” hat …sollte man über eine Reparatur/Ersatz nachdenken…

Schauen Sie mal wieder rein.

Ein Tip vom Drucker-Service-Kiel

You must have seen this (that’s why you’re here after all!)


E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?


This often happens if you try to install a package (say, <package-name>) while you are installing another. As an example, this may happen when you try to run
$ sudo aptitude install <package-name>
in the terminal while you have Synaptic package manager open (or vice versa) or in another terminal you are installing another package . The easiest solution is just to wait for the other installation(s) to finish  and close the package manager if you are done with it. However, if the package manager is crashed in the middle some stuck-up  processes may still be using the lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock).

In that case, use fuser to find out the runaway process(es); and while you’re at it, you may use -k flag which will kill the process that is still using /var/lib/dpkg/lock. Then configure (--configure) all the packages (-a) which are yet unpacked and unconfigured, using dpkg:


$ sudo fuser -vki /var/lib/dpkg/lock; sudo dpkg --configure -a


In the first command (fuser), the -i flag asks for user confirmation, and -v is for verbose mode.

After that, proceed to the usual installation step of the package that you want to install.

Sometimes you just gotta walk away from it…Doesn’t mean you’ve given up, it’s just forcing something that isn’t ready to be revealed. When you drag extra stuff on your journey it just makes it unpleasant on your feet. Take only what you need.  Most of the time the things we “want” are useless in our journey. Why am I saying all this? Not sure? Maybe “YOU!!, yeah YOU” whoever that is  needs to read this.  When we focus on the irrelevant we lose all touch with humanity. You gotta stay true to “YOU”, but never compromise the truth, and in the process engage the culture. You’re world will be totally different…Trust me, I am taking my own medicine and trying to smoke what I am selling. It’s a process….These are great times my friends…trust me when I say this… All is not lost, just been looking out the wrong window…Sometimes we need a swift kick in the ass to get our act together!!!

Don’t force what isn’t working, it’s cheating out the best of you, being ignored…

So last night I had this craziness of a dream. I was in this abandoned house with my lil bro Alex…There were tons of dogs in that house…Why? not sure…But in the dream I broke the top of my wrist really bad…So somehow I found some kind of metal brace on the floor and I put it around my wrist to help hold my bones in place. I picked up a few rusted nails and I stuck them into the top of my wrist to help keep the brace on…yeah, I know it’s nuts…towards the end of my dream I pulled the nails out and was worried about infection…Right at that moment I felt my arm get really cold…Reina then shows up and says, “your arm looks weird”…in the dream I being to panic and really think I should go to the hospital….(this is so silly, i can’t believe I remember all of this)….I remember waking up sometime around 3am and my arm had fallen asleep…and this morning I woke up with a HUGE mosquito bite on my wrist…well I hope it was  mosquito and not some weird tropical spider.

So… I am taking on a new project. I am gonna transform my garage into a production suite…a mobile one that is….I am an artist, songwriter and visionary…But right now I don’t have a space at home where I can lose myself to that….Reina, my amazing wife is an artist, Interior designer and painter…But right now she doesn’t have a space at home to lose herself to that… SO!!!! Starting this weekend I am going thru the garbage, getting rid of the stuff I don’t need and keeping the cool items of inspiration and need. If you wanna help, come on by. If you have ideas, come on by or shoot me an email. I am excited.

Once the room is set and ready, I am gonna work on an EP…yes a “fuser” EP. Until then though, lets get this creative room designed, created and built. Just gotta figure out how i can keep my garage cool? Any suggestions?

Es gibt ein paar wenige Bauteile der Heizeinheit/Fuser, welche defekt sein können. Im Grundsätzlichen besteht eine Heizeinheit aus:

- Andruckrolle (Pressure Roller), untere Rolle, meist orange
- Heizrolle (Heating Roller), obere Rolle, meist schwarz oder grau
- Thermostat (Überwacht die Temperatur die Heizeinheit. Wird ein bestimmter Wert überschritten, schaltet dieser,
  aus Sicherheitsgründen, automatisch ab.
- Thermistor (regelt die Wärme der Heizeinheit)
- Ein Heizelement/Heizlampe, je nach Typ.

Natürlich gibt es auch noch Zahnräder, Achsen etc.

Ein Tip vom Drucker-Service-Kiel

Der eingebaute Thermostat in der Heizeinheit/Fuser (FK-130) hat ausgelöst.

Ob der Thermostat ausgelöst hat, oder nicht, können Sie einfach durchmessen. Hat er Durchgang (0 Ohm) ist er in Ordnung. Hat er keinen Durchgang, so ist er ausgelöst. Die Heizeinheit bleibt kalt!

Den Thermostat können Sie allerdings resetten. Mit einem spitzen Werkzeug (z.B. einer Nadel), seitlich, höchsten 1mm unter die schwarze Platte schieben und als Hebel ansetzen. Mit ein wenig Druck, gibt es ein KLICK. Jetzt ist er wieder “scharfgestellt” und sollte Durchgang haben.

Well, we just got back from an amazing vacation. It was great to take some time off and do nothing…It was everything and more. My brain took a break, my body indulged in traditional criolla foods, spent way too much time under the sun, and loved my wife and crew more and more. It was trully a blessing. On the flight back I took some time to think. Think of what is next for fuser…I realized the idea of writing a book is not time yet, but I will c0ntinue to journal and document key moments in my life and soon enough it will be time…I am still not the best leader I can be but was totally humbled by how great of a team I have at LPC. Major “ups” for the production and worship band!!!

I think I am gonna keep chipping away at the film I’ve been writing for some time now and let that flow and take its shape and story…I love being creative, and starting new projects but with all that comes great responsibility…New tunes are stirring in my soul,and in the next few months they will go on paper and rough demos on garage band…I am playing with the idea of a “fuser EP”…not sure how that will pan out and sound like…But why not right? There are some words and melodies I’ve never shared with anyone…I think I just may turn the lamp on, and let you see…Sometimes you gotta stop looking for the created masterpiece, get your own blank canvas and paint on it…What that will look like? I am not sure. But I am always up for a good journey. So for the fun of this blog, if you were my creative manager, what would you like to see me do next?

Uma vez um grande amigo me disse que nós deveríamos ter o direito de não produzir. Ter o direito de ficar coçando, morgando, de jogar videogame o dia inteiro, de não produzir nada, nem “artisticamente”, nem profissionalmente, nem financeiramente. Seria praticamente o direito à depressão. O direto de viver fora do calendário, ou como diria um adorável capixaba, “de ficar trancado do lado de fora da vida” (se bem que o Braga não recomendava este autoexílio). Mas o Tiago, sabiamente, usou a conjugação verbal no futuro do pretérito, “deverÍAMOS”, enquanto bebíamos cerveja, tínhamos papos existencialistas e paquerávamos as garotas (e, é claro, não fazíamos nada). É óbvio que a sociedade não nos permite tal luxo. Se ficamos parados, o tempo, a falta de grana, a encheção de saco de nossos pais amigos e/ou namoradas nos engole. Outras pessoas que dependem direta ou indiretamente da gente ficam à mercê.

Em outra ocasião um professor da faculdade de jornalismo me falou uma máxima simples, que eu talvez poderia ter ouvido da boca de outro, mas foi o Fuser quem a proferiu: “o jornal sempre fecha” (ou algo do tipo). Não interessa se a edição está ruim, incompleta, cheia de mentiras e/ou inverdades, se tem muitos calhais, um jornal tem de fechar. Sempre e todos os dias. Como não poderia deixar de ser, o meu professor também nos ensinou (ou pelo menos se esforçou neste sentido) muitas outras coisas. Contou histórias de bastidores, nos indicou o que deveria ser escrito em determinados tipos de texto, nos deu dicas para como obter certas informações em entrevistas etc. Enfim, informações técnicas do mundinho do jornalismo. Dentre esses ensinamentos, sinceramente, eu pouco me recordo, tanto porque pouco os pus em prática, como também pouco a pouco fui me desinteressando do pelo fazer jornalístico – tirando estas recaídas em forma de crônicas.

O que ficou, para mim, não foi a informação, foi o conhecimento, a sabedoria. Porém, como diria o Hesse pela boca do seu Sidarta, a sabedoria não pode ser transmitida (logo, não pode ser ensinada). E eu completaria, ela só pode ser aprendida. Parece um paradoxo, mas é simples explicar: o verdadeiro conhecimento (por mais simples e pequeno que seja) tem de ser descoberto, captado, não vem pré-fabricado de uma fonte externa. Uma frase solta, e talvez despretensiosa, de um professor me incitou, tal qual a reflexão de um amigo durante mais um de nossos massantes e prazerosos papos existencialistas.

E neste momento eu uno as duas pontas: como solucionar a situação em que deveríamos nos permitir não produzir sendo que “o jornal sempre fecha” (“a vida continua”, “temos sempre de passar a fase do videogame”, “a roda gira” e muitas outras frases que poderiam figurar aqui)?

Obwohl Sie die richtige Heizeinheit für den CLP-510 bestellt haben, passt diese nicht in Ihren Drucker.

Tip:
Prüfen Sie, ob Sie wirklich einen CLP-510 haben und keinen 500er oder 550er. Diese Fuser sind unterschiedlich!

Drehen Sie die neue Einheit mal um 180° Grad um, vielleicht passt Sie dann.

Der Wartungszähler beim HP Laserjet 4100 ist auf 200.000 Seiten eingestellt. Nach erreichen der 200.000 Seiten sollte ein Wartungskit eingebaut werden. Im Wartungskit sind die wichtigsten Verschleißteile, wie Einzugsrollen, Transferrolle, Seperationspads und die Heizeinheit/Fuser enthalten.

Um den Wartungszähler zurückzusetzen drücken Sie die beiden mittleren Tasten (-Option/Item und -Wert/-Value) und schalten das Gerät ein. Beide Tasten gedrückt halten bis im Display “Reset Maintenance count” steht. Dann die Tasten loslassen. Der Drucker geht auf BEREIT

Zion Max Santoyo has been a blessing to us. It’s been priceless seeing Diego interact with him and love on his brother. It’s awesome. I will admit though, on them days when Zion cries and keeps crying, and cries some more…it can be a little frustrating…Reina is the true rockstar though. She is up every 4 to 5 hrs to feed Zion, change his diaper, and just be an amazing mom to him. I help out but it’s nothing like mama. I will admit I have gotten better at changing diapers. Getting baby crap on my hands is less and less everyday…So I am proud of that. Baby #3 has been mentioned but I won’t tell you when…LOL…Yes we want a big family. When I am up at 3am (which isn’t too often) I think, ” ok, maybe 2 kids is enough”, but when the boys are up during the day, screaming, running, I imagine 2 more…When Diego and I are at the pool on the weekends I imagine 4 kids running and jumping in the pool. I imagine myself traveling the globe with Reina and the Santoyo tribe…These are all random thoughts right now…I guess I am just totally loving fatherhood. It’s amazing.

The Challenge of being a dreamer is trying to sleep at night. It just seems like my mind doesn’t stop racing, creating, writing, seeing, believing there is always more. More I can do in this world…Re considering pursuit, is not an option.

So tonight I am having a round table brainstorming session with some cool people I know. Gonna share a film idea I’ve had for a few yrs now. I am excited to see this come to life. Just indulging in another passion of mine. The art of film… We’ll see what happens. I will definitely be reaching out to directors, writers, producers and actors for advice…This will be a new hat for me.

There is always more room to grow. Ok, maybe not in height but in other areas of life. It’s been insanely awesome having 2 boys at home. One thing is for sure, I couldn’t  handle it without my amazing wife. She is an amazing wife and mother. Having 2 kids has it’s challenges, but I am all about that! Challenge!!!!  We will learn as we live and grow together. Just proves there is always more room to grow as a leader of my home. It is a daily adventure. Yesterday as I changed Zion’s stinky diaper I thought, wow…one day he will change mine. But until I grow completely old, my duty is to lead my boys in the best path possible and Instill in them a passionate love and desire for God’s heart. I invision them impacting the world with me, on stage, across the continent, in the streets, thru the arts…It’s a fathers dream…

After being in the hospital with Reina as they removed Zion from her body, I realized how much more amazing she is day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. It was scary seeing all these Dr’s operate on her. As I wiped her tears in that room, I felt so weak inside but did everything possible to be strong for her in the outside. Then within minutes there was a sound in the room that took all worries away. Zion’s firsts words in this world. It was amazing. He is God’s gift for us!!!  Having 2 children requires double the attention and work, but it made me realize there is so much room for us to grow as a couple, as companions and lovers.  New adventures, new words, new gestures, new jokes and dreams. There is so much more…Love my Reina more and more…

Performing in Asia was really cool. I felt like the saturn project was making moves so loud the whole earth can hear our anthems. It was cool walking out of that auditorium  to screaming fans who embraced our songs and our mission. It had it’s weirdness of course, flashing cameras and autograph signing everywhere, but it let us know we are up to something good on it’s way to being great. Arriving here to the US, we didn’t have screaming fans at the airport, nor billboards displaying “The Saturn Project Rocks!” Just proves there is so much more room to grow as an artist and a band. So much more to achieve, so much more to do and share the anthems for a broken world story. We are eternally grateful to those who have and continue to believe in our sound and what we do…the best is yet to come…

As the creative arts and worship pastor for life pointe I have a team of leaders, artists, directors and producers that I lead. There is always that challenge to be the best possible leader I can do. From time to time I drop the ball and maybe don’t lead as I am meant to lead. Just proves there is so much more room for me to grow. It is a blessing to be able to fly out from time to time with the Saturn Project to share  our talents with the world. From Cambodia to the Philippines, Europe to South America and the US. None of that is possible without the amazing  staff and teams I have the privilege of working with at LPC.  When you are encouraged to dream and follow those dreams by the people you work and experience life with, it really encourages me to be a better leader, artist and “pastor”. There is plenty of room for that…

Me and my crew live in Homestead Fl, many of my family and friends live in Chicago. I don’t have the luxury of driving over to my Mom’s for Dinner, nor hanging at the pool with my brothers and bust each others chops. I can’t drive over to see a show in wicker park with my fellow chi-town artists. Just shows me there is more room for me to grow as a friend, brother and son. I am challenged to constantly reach out and say “what up?”, or constantly post pictures and videos of my crew so my family in Chi-town can see them. Out of sight, out of my mind shouldn’t exist for me. But rather push myself to be available to all my distant peeps.

We are all constantly growing, learning, dreaming and living. The day we stop that process, the things that wage war against growth, lessons, dreams and living will begin to eat away at our bones and quickly lead us to our death bed.I wanna constantly live and grow. As my  1773 friends in chi town would say, “Constant Motion”.
