“After that, I won’t offer any mixtape material.” Before Lil Wayne was setting new heights with his

“After that, I won’t offer any mixtape material.”

Before Lil Wayne was setting new heights with his mixtape hustle and Gucci Mane was popping up on any and every mixtape, 50 Cent and G-Unit were known as the pioneers to the mixtape circuit and can take full responsibility for revolutionizing it and making it so essential for an artist to have before making the mainstream leap.

Unleashing mixtapes such as Guess Who’s Back and 50 Cent Is The Future were the initials staples that brought the attention of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson to the likes of Eminem and Dr. Dre who felt it best to align themselves with such an aggressive, yet potential, rising star.

He has continued his run along with his cohorts on countless DJ Whoo Kid mixtapes and he most recently built anticipation for his fourth album with War Angel and Forever King.

All good things, however, must come to an end, as Jackson has stated that his career in the mixtape game is coming to an end with the release of his next.

Speaking with VIBE, the rapper states that the work was already in the process way before the actual album was done.

“The next mixtape was already, portions of it were already records before the release of Before I Self Destruct, but I didn’t want to release so close to the actual album where people would make comparisons between the material cause their both up to standard.”

As many feel as though his aggressive content is obsolete, there are still fans out there that want to hear that gritty, gun-toting rapper from Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ and prior to his mainstream career.

Some people just like to hear tales of violence.

“I feel like my core that really enjoys the aggressive content might enjoy the mixtape and try to compare it to what I did, performance wise, on the actual record. I know, hands down, the album is better, but I just didn’t want to put it out there at that point.”

Having such a long run, it only makes sense that he sheds away the past as he moves on with his career. Already thinking outside of music, Jackson has placed his focus on films, whether he be acting or penning scripts, so it is apparent that his career is leaps from being strictly based on music.

If this upcoming, yet to be titled mixtape, is the last that fans hear from 50 Cent, hopefully the rapper can leave fans with a literal bang as the curtains close.

As anticipation begins a steady climb for the next album from rapper Game, R.E.D., he is already loo

As anticipation begins a steady climb for the next album from rapper Game, R.E.D., he is already looking past the upcoming release with the following.

The journey for Jayceon Taylor has been quite a bumpy road in rap. Emerging alongside 50 Cent and G-Unit to drop The Documentary and then being forcefully removed to wage war with his former rap buddies, Game has found a way to create his own identity, although there may be more than one personality inhabiting his mind.

With his upcoming release on February 16, things have come full circle as he has linked back up to once again become the doctor’s advocate with Dr. Dre.

While recording with Pharrell in the studio, DubCNN was able to speak with the rapper and learn more about the next rumored album Diary of Compton, which should follow R.E.D., and who he intends to tap into to bring the project together.

“Ice Cube is the big homie, Dr. Dre, you know, is like the father-figure or like a big brother to me in Hip Hop, Snoop is going to be down with Game. Me and Snoop ride or die for each other in music or in the streets. He’s like my big brother and he holds me down. To put it together, it ain’t nothing, but it’s gonna take everybody, The Dogg Pound, Daz and Kurupt, to come together and really help me perfect that album or else I can’t do it halfway.”

“I gotta it 100% of what the definition of what Compton is to all the artists involved, myself and what people see from the outside looking in. I want to depict Compton in a way that’s so real that you feel like you’re from Compton, if you’re not. You feel like you see or you been through what I’ve been through in my life. “

Slated to be an album of epic proportions, the album is waiting at the batter’s cage, waiting to step foot onto the mound once it is finally ready. As the last contractual album, the last offering can only be a smash before the curtains close, if they do, with Interscope.

“It’s on hold. Hopefully it can be my fifth album, which would be my last album on Interscope/Geffen, but I really wanna make that happen.”

He also added more on his current process and stated that his experience with Pharrell has done nothing but give him a better outlook on the producer that made “Allure” for Jay-Z.

“Pharrell is my new favorite producer. I got a whole new respect for Pharrell and the Neptunes, but especially Pharrell and how he do his thing man. The way that he coached me when I’m in the booth, it’s like a Pat Reiley to a Tim Hardaway or a Pat Reiley to a Magic Johnson. They way that he let me run point guard when I’m inside that booth is just crazy. People don’t really understand what the Neptunes are, but if you take away the Neptunes from Hip Hop, you take away the color in Hip Hop.”

The rapper also spoke on rumors that his upcoming album will feature him linking up with DJ Premier, whom he has yet to work with in his career.

“I’m supposed to be getting with Premier before Christmas. I hope that happens because Premier is one of my favorite classic OG producers that’s still potent in Hip Hop today, of all time, and I can’t wait to get it in with Premier.”

Calling it his rededication to Hip Hop, Game is bringing out the heavy artillery this time around to show his love and appreciation for the craft, which can only be a positive for fans. People may not be aware of which Game will appear, but there’s nothing wrong with being unpredictable as no one knows what to expect.

G-Unit associate Lil Scrappy recently spoke on his relationship with Young Buck and 50 Cent claiming the Cashville rapper would likely not be able to mend past issues with his former camp.

Having been involved with the Unit during the promotion of Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live, Scrappy detailed where he stood during the two’s publicized rap beef.

“Buck is my homie; he’s like a big brother you never had,” Scrappy explained in an interview. “50 is also a big brother you never had. I was around both of them when they would talk about each other love-wise, and that sh*t just flipped, which is what money does. 50 is a real dude. He didn’t have to do any of that sh*t for none of us. Young Buck and Lloyd Banks were the first ones. I didn’t really get the love that they got. 50 thought they were his babies and if you talked to him, he would tell you that. Buck just saw me in the same situation that he was in, when he got shot up and ain’t nobody f*ckin’ with him. I just talked to him like three weeks ago, and he said keep doing what you’re doing, and I was like I appreciate everything he did for me. And I’m out here grustlin’ and if we can make a hit record again, we can do it. Buck and 50 beefing is like two brothers beefing, and they ain’t never going to talk to each other again, but it ain’t that beat though. They will probably get over it one day, but I doubt it just because its disloyalty. [You've] got to be loyal. Look at Lil Wayne with Cash Money: he was loyal and look where he’s at right now.” (Hip Hop DX)

I Hate to use those terms such as “flop” because the quality of music doesn’t depend on how much it sells. But for an artist who’s made hell for artists that “flopped” over the years has actually debuted lower than rick rosses last effort deeper than rap. What really happened here the discography of 50 cents albums reads out like a bad movie …get rich or die trying, create a massacre then destruct terribly. I feel somehow 50 cent planned this though because you cant cross promote a cologne a book and a cd and expect your fans to buy all of them ..considering alot of them need lunch money to do so.

50 Cent’s sales for his latest studio LP Before I Self Destruct were disappointing to say the least. The G-Unit President only managed to sell 161,000 copies of the project despite his tireless promotion and ongoing rap beefs. Now as news of his poor sales hits the net, his main rival is declaring victory over him. As previously reported, 50 took disrespect to new heights when he flew Ross’s baby mother and child to Las Vegas to parlay with himself and Floyd Mayweather. In retaliation to that and several other shots Ross spoke out against 50 at a recent concert.

Rick Ross took the stage with DJ Khaled for the 305 DJ’s birthday celebration. Before performing his hit “This Is the Life” from Trilla, he spoke on his nemesis’s poor sales week stating,

“So we celebrating my nigga birthday, but we’re also celebrating the demise of a pussy. R.I.P. to the donkey, we buried him. It feel good, nigga.

just when y’all thought it wasnt gonna happen, my man REMY’D has returned!!!!!! possibly the freshest artist out there (suck a FUCK kid cuddle and lupe problemo), his new niggabeat, It’s 2:25, is easily the most pronounced lyrical whackness he has ever put out there. i swear he needs to record this shit asap, so he can release a dope first album and save the australian rap industry,. for those in the kno, you cna check it out right here!

I’ve been living here in sydney for the last 8 years or so, just about to start going to uni (MAC UNI WURD UP), but i still cant find anyone interested in producing my LP. but i have lined up an interview on december 28 at INTERSCROPE RECORDS!! i’m really looking forard to this becuz this is where Game is signed to. also underneath it is obviously aftermath entertainment, with DRE and busta, as well as SHADY and G-UNIT, so if i get signed there itll be masterful… obviously i’ll then need to bring REMY’D over to join on my album and record his own.

anyway my next post will be my reviw of BEFORE I SELF DESTRUCT which just came out, but before I do that here’s my new beat, Remylickin’ Good, which i have been writing for the last eight dayz about REMY’D (holla at ya boi) and the feelings he makes in my mind.

(Intro)
Give this nigga beat!
Damn boi you know I lookin at you!
Why you not see my affection for you??
I ain’t no mahfuckin’ Stan, I’m the real slim Caocao
You just a killer for filler in the house of Manilla
Wurd up!!

(chorus)
Horny for more than just Oporto
I can’t suck a McDick
Hungrier than Jack in a porno
Give that a King lick
But I really know my KFC
And all that it does for me
It’s fingerfuckin’ cockrockin’ Remylickin’ GOOOOOOD
(Woah-oh-oh-woah-oh-woahhhhh Remy’d for yo pain)

(verse 1)
All I’ve said is post mortem
I ain’t never gonna die
You see me kickin’ cunts
I can kill ‘em on the fly
I’m an un-PC fucker, all my ladies know this
But if you fuck me upside down my mouth looks like a clit
It’s raw like Slim Shady, Asher Roth is our baby
I fucked ten cows inside out then let them go crazy
What more could you want from a S-town dog
Who knows nothing more than shits and Gods
Religulous bullshit with Jerry Lewis in tail
I’m a goddamn python, he’s a mahfuckin’ whale
Remy’d kicked the telly off of my rapsheet
I made sure those bitches didn’t know about the gaybeat
Hittin’ the toolshed like its more than rape
There’ll be a class action GTA style that’ll go late
I’m gettin’ hungry now, let me hit a niggabeat
I only know ten black people, does that make me a sheet??

(chorus)

(verse 2)
What was that on the radio last night about Emma Watson nude?
I wouldn’t give a fuck, ’cause she fucks dudes
I only get turned on by chicks who do chicks
Hatefilled lyrical contextuality until 2:26am

By DeVaughn Douglas

The Top 10 doesn’t have a lot of Hip-Hop on it but we do have a new entry. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson enters the charts at in the fifth slot with his latest album Before I Self Destruct. The queens MC managed to sell about 160,000 copies of his fourth disc which, to date, is the lowest sales the rapper has produced. The reviews for the album have been mixed but I will say that the movie that comes with it is not bad. In fact it’s pretty good. 50 has already come forward and said that the album leaked from an international plant which is not hard to believe. The album was everywhere…but is that the reason for the low sales? What do ya’ll think? Nevertheless, this is a hater’s wet dream! The next question is how does an MC that has always spent a lot of time focusing on numbers (especially the numbers of rappers he doesn’t like) deal with the fact that his latest album hasn’t put up good numbers. I hope its go back to the studio (hungry) and put out another album. We’ll see.

50 Cent quand même tu connais ? Oui oui, ses clips bling bling, son film “Get Rich Or Die Tryi

50 + 0$ + New York = ghetto assuré ! Ahaha !

A 22h, le DJ nous crie “If you’re ready for 50 Cent make some noise right now”. Aller hop, ODB, Big Pun, 2Pac, Biggie, etc… Damn it. Il commence avec « I Run New York ». Mais c’était pas mal quand même, j’étais agréablement surprise, j’me suis même mise à bouger les pieds sur “Baby By Me” en fredonnant le refrain par cœur « Have a baby by me, baby, be a millionaire ».

Puis, petit moment clé : « Where’s my nigga at? » demande 50. Puis il enchaîne avec des vieux morceaux, “P.I.M.P” (Il troque sa casquette contre un chapeau de pimp), “This Is How We Do”, “Hate It Or Love It”, “Just A Lil Bit”, “Candy Shop”, “Magic Stick”.

En attendant, révise ton refrain “Have a baby by me baby, be a millionaire, have a baby by me…” Cheers !

In the warm memories of Dragnet , I say this story is best delivered with concise and accurate brevity. Just the facts m’am, just the facts.

Apparently Taco Bell has a marketing department with a creative way of looking at viral opportunities. They decided to “address” a letter “to” 50 Cent, kindly asking him if he would change his name to 79 cents or perhaps 89 cents. I’m really not sure why, perhaps they had a 50 cent taco coming out, or something disgusting like that. Either way, the problem with the letter is that it was delivered to media outlets across the country and not Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. So when the press released the story about Taco Bell’s letter to Fitty, plenty of fans cried a foul. SELLOUT! SELLOUT! 50 Cent is a G however, and he took it to the corporate gorditos with blue blooded power attorneys, sued for 4 million. Today, that suit got settled, Curtis was paid an undisclosed amount. Perhaps the boys in the TB marketing division should go find another Chihuahua, a little less abrasive than 50.

The Game Puts his Money on Hov in 50 Cent and Jay-Z FeudNew York, NY – West Coast MC, The Game, has had his share of feuds with both Jay-Z and 50 Cent in the past, but according to him, it was all in good fun. Game has taken shots at both artists during some interesting times, where one responded and one didn’t, either way it never really got to a serious level. However, in this recent publicized feud that Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent has sparked up with Jay that has become somewhat of a media frenzy, The Game added his two cents practically putting all bets on Jay-Z.

During an interview with Complex.com, The Game insisted that Hov would come out the victor in this battle if it came down to lyricism. These were his comments:

“Jay-Z will fuck 50 up in a battle! It would be so fast and over with. 50 is funny, but Jay is witty. Jay-Z is not to be toyed with. If he responds, if he feels like you’re really pissing him off and he responds, he’s gonna fuck you up! He would fuck me up, I’m just glad he didn’t respond, so I didn’t have to go dig in my bag and try to fuck him up.

I definitely think that Jay-Z didn’t come at me like he came at any other rappers because I definitely would have been more disrespectful. Once you start a beef with me, you better be ready to go the whole 12 rounds. I will try to chew your fuckin’ ear off, like Mike Tyson. I’ll do it and I think he knew that — I’m disrespectful! So Jay, he did the right thing and just kinda let it die down and I let it die down ’cause it wasn’t anything, really. It was fun and I really admire Jay’s career. I just really don’t care too much for the man himself.”

At one point in time, Game has even apologized to 50 about everything that occurred over the past and admitted that G-Unit was a time in his life that he really enjoyed and would work with 50 again if the time came around, 50 however, will not. With this recent feud, Game states that 50 is just taking a page out of his book when he began taking shots at Hov:

“I already did that Jay-Z thing, 50’s just doing what I’m doing. Nobody went at Jay; I went at Jay. Now everybody wants to get at Jay — not saying anything about Beanie Sigel, that’s personal and I stay out of that. He’s just a man and he’s got all the right in the world, but I feel like I did something that people have been wanting to do, but everybody is scared because Jay-Z is so lyrically inclined to cut your throat and your career in half that nobody wanted to do it. But me? I just don’t give a fuck sometimes.”

At press time, The Game has been recently working in the studio with Dr. Dre in the completion of his forthcoming album ‘The R.E.D. Album.’ That fourth studio album has been set to be released on February 16, 2010 with distribution by Interscope Records.

I agree with The Game 100%, on the real, anyone that would go toe to toe with Jay-Z has a huge competition in front of them. Lyrically, Jay would destroy 50 and no one should disagree. Either way, it is also good to see that Game is back in the studio again with Dre and with Interscope, I’m actually looking forward to the release of his next album.

Eminem to Re-Release ‘Relapse’ as ‘Refill’ Dosage

Los Angeles, CA – Eminem has always been artist who keeps his promises to his fans. News coming of the Shady/Aftermath camp of another Relapse album, not the sequel, but a re-release he has creatively entitled ‘The Refill.’ According to Em, he wants to include new material that wasn’t present or recorded during the release of the first ‘Relapse.’

The Detroit MC recently spoke with RapRadar.com and stated that ‘The Refill’ will include the tracks ‘Forever’ that he did with Wayne, Drake, and ’ Kanye, ‘Taking My Ball, which was recorded for the ‘DJ Hero: Renegade Edition’ game that he did it Jay-Z, and three newer tracks.

These were his comments:

“I want to deliver more material for the fans this year like I originally planned. Hopefully these tracks on The Refill will tide the fans over until we put out Relapse 2 next year.”

Even though the sequel to his ‘Relapse’ series won’t be out until next year, he did share some information into the album with DJ Tony Touch during an interview on Shade 45. He stated that the second will be very different from the original:

“[The album] is gonna be a lot different than people expect. As far as the contrast from the last album to this one, I got a couple of tracks with [D12's] Mr. Porter, two tracks with him so far. Four, possibly five with Just Blaze. The overall basis of this record, I went back to songs that are more emotionally driven. The last record I made, I think I was concentrating more on spitting. On this album, I feel like there’s some of that, but I went back to songs with [feelings] to them as opposed to just rap records.”

At press time, ‘Relapse: The Refill’ has been set to be released on December 21, all according to Interscope.

Keep posted to 24hourhiphop.com for more updated news on Eminem and ‘Refill.’

I was looking forward for this year for him to release the sequel, but I guess him being Em, he must have something up his sleeves. With production from Just Blaze, I can imagine how he will sound on a Blaze beat, it would be quite original.

Jay-Z Scores Number One Hit with ‘Empire State of Mind’ with Video

New York, NY – Even with all the negative news surrounding Jay-Z of late concerning 50 and former Roc member Beanie Sigel, it seems as though none of that is actually affecting him as he’s not even entertaining it. But honestly, why should he? His New York anthem, ‘Empire State of Mind’ has been receiving rave reviews from critics and all his fans. As of this past Thursday (November 19), the record hit number 1 on the Billboard hot 100 charts. Jay-Z has been on the charts before on features, but this marks the first time his album track has hit number one on the Billboards.

The newest NYC anthem has been circulating all over the place as both Jay and Alicia Keys have been requested to perform the hit record literally everywhere. They first performed it together at the MTV Video Awards of this year, then at the Yankee/Phillies World Series game, and again after the Yankees won at the Bronx parade, to recently performing it at the American Music Awards, where it was a huge hit. The record is literally been performed at almost every major location, putting Hov at an all time high. Guaranteed the list will continue to grow.

Jay-Z recently stated the message that the song was expressing:

“Really, ‘Empire State of Mind’ is about inspiration, it’s about hope. I think that’s what connects with people.”

And honestly, Alicia said it best NYC is the” Concrete Jungle where dreams are made of, there is nothing you can’t do.”

50 Cent and Taco Bell settled a lawsuit filed by the rapper, after the fast-food chain used his name in a commercial to promote tacos on their value menu.

The rapper sued Taco Bell for $1 million dollars in damages over a June 2008 promotion that offered 50 Cent $10,000 to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent for one day.

50 sued the fast-food chain for using his name and likeness without expressed permission and for making him the “star of a nationwide campaign” without his permission.

Both parties reached a confidential settlement yesterday (November 23) according to lawyers for the rapper.

50 Cent predicted he would emerge victorious in the court battle in a statement to AllHipHop in late June of 2008.

“When my legal team is finished with them, Taco Bell is going to have a new corporate slogan: ‘We messed with the bull and got the horns,” the rapper said in a statement.
