Ein 3G- oder womöglich sogar gleich ein 3.5G-Modul soll für breitbandige Online- und Datentausch-Performance sorgen. Abgesehen von Dokumenten und E-Books aller Art könne der Netronix gleich zur persönlichen Kommunikationsschaltzentrale werden, stellt sich der Hersteller vor. Pentru mintea omului , muzica este o calitate innascuta. Nu exista cultura pe Pamant sa nu o posede , iar creierele noastre sunt inzestrate sa o perceapa si sa fie miscate de vraja sa.
Peste toate acestea , detinem “urechea perfecta” , capacitatea de a identifica un anumit sunet muzical fara a-l auzi in raport cu altul … este o calitate extrem de rara. Acest dar ne este dat fiecarora dintre noi , urmand mai apoi sa-l ducem pe meleaguri necunoscute , dar pline de frumusete , dezvoltandu-ne urechea muzicala dupa preferinte , posibilitati si vointa.

Trebuie sa luam minte ca muzica e una dintre cele mai vechi si cele mai populare forme de arta … si arta e subiectiva. Nu ar trebui sa condamnam nici macar un gen de muzica , un stil , o interpretare , pentru ca pana la urma si aceasta trebuie sa aiba cea mai mica urma de arta pentru cel care o asculta sau pentru cel care o interpreteaza.

O doza de arta in domeniul muzicii gasim in persoana celui numit Steve Vai … considerat unul dintre cei mai mari chitaristi si muzicieni ai tuturor timpurilor. Un geniu pe toate planurile ,cel de compozitie , interpretare , improvizatie , tehnica … ca sa-mi exprim aprecierea va recomand , cred , cea mai reprezentativa piesa semnata Steve Vai – For The Love of God ( G3 DVD ) ; For The Love of God ( Amsterdam ) … si chiar e strigator la cer daca e sa consideram cata inspiratie are artistul. Tot pe tente de spiritualism , Vai ne aduce un alt tranchilizant , piesa Whispering a Prayer , prin intermediul caruia sopteste o rugaciune poate ca noi sa devenim mai perceptivi la muzica buna ; ( pe tema spiritualism – muzica puteti citi un articol scris de mine pe www.muzica-nu-ucide.ro , undeva pe maine la amiazi ).

Despre Steve Vai pot sa va scriu foarte multe dar acum intervin cu cateva date fixe si anume ca acesta s-a nascut pe 6 Iunie 1960 , si-a inceput cariera muzicala prin anii 1970 luand lectii de la un alt virtuos al chitarii , Joe Satriani. El a fost remarcat si promovat foarte mult de Frank Zappa. Si-a lansat primul album solo in 1984 , de cand nu s-a oprit din a ne uimi si incanta cu simtul artistic si cu ideile geniale. Artistul a colaborat cu foarte multi muzicieni cunoscuti , a cantat in trupe de rock care au avut de spus un cuvant in scena muzicii contemporane , trupe precum Whitesnake.

In afara de piesele linistitoare prezentate mai sus , Steve Vai are si acea parte de heavy metal prin celebra piesa Bad Horsie de pe albumul Alien Love Secrets , album care contine piesa mea preferata : Tender Surrender , o piesa care din punctul meu de vedere este culmea realizarilor lui Steve Vai , o piesa pe care nu o pot descire in cuvinte , apropiat fiind doar “mesmerizing”. Tot pe partea putin mai heavy m-au impresionat foarte mult piesele The Attitute song si Building the Church pe langa multimea de creatii geniale pe care acesta le detine.

Cu toate ca am inceput sa scriu un intreg roman despre acest minunat chitarist , am renuntat din mai multe motive dar cred ca am cuprins tot ceea ce cred eu ca este important despre artist . Va las ca si recomandare TOATE piese acestuia dar pentru ca tot este necesara o selectie va recomand Lotus Feet din concertul cu orchestra din Amsterdam , piesa Babushka cantata si compusa pentru Romania in turneul acestuia.

Pentru chitaristul invatacel din mine , Steve Vai este mai mult decat o inspiratie , muzica acestuia ma determina de multe ori sa pun mana pe chitara cu totul ca poate nu sunt intr-o dispozitie buna. Ca sa il citez pe profesorul meu de chitara , Andrei Rosulescu , “Daca l-ai intalni pe Dumnezeul chitarii , ce l-ai intreba ” … cred ca daca ar adresa cineva aceasta intrebare lui Steve Vai acesta va raspunde ca tocmai a stat la bere cu el. Pur si simplu nu imi pot da seama de unde are atat de multa inspiratie … pe langa faptul ca poate canta cel putin 10 ore zilnic. Cred ca e o intrebare fara raspuns.

Eu va doresc auditie placuta si sper ca sa va placa si sa-l admirati pe cat il admira chitaristii din lumea intreaga.

Further to my previous post on this topic, it would appear from reports emerging out of this week’s EU summit that Peter, Gordon and Tony’s little plan to shoe Tony into the EU top job has been scuppered. Too bad for the Eurosceptic cause in the UK!

So ‘Plan B’ has kicked in: to get David Miliband – the present UK Foreign Secretary – into the post of EU Foreign Secretary High Representative. Apparently, he’s the ‘favourite’ for the job: meaning the most likely to be cherry-picked by the EU elite, not actually the candidate favoured by any electorate. I must admit I didn’t see that one coming up on the blind side; but it’s an obvious stitch-up. I can’t believe Miliband’s undeclared ‘candidacy’ did not emerge as a result of squalid trade-offs at the summit: ‘OK, so we can’t have Tony; but at least give us David (Miliband): he’ll support Britain’s entry into the Euro, and he’ll also help to sell the Lisbon deal to the British people, and we can hopefully get away without any sort of referendum’.

This is perfect for Mandy, too: get a potential rival for the soon to be vacant position as Labour Party leader / PM out of the way (assuming Brown steps down on the grounds of ‘illness’ before the election, and they find a way to enable Mandelson to be elected as an MP and then as Labour leader) while placing a grateful yes man in one of the top EU-State ministerial jobs who’ll be happy to execute Mandelson’s plan to lead Britain into the Euro and help set up a new G3 or G4 of the leading global economies – the US, China, the Eurozone and possibly Japan. At the same time, Miliband can indeed be sold to the British public (or the gullible members of it), perhaps more effectively than could Tony Blair, as ‘our man in Brussels’: batting for the British national interest in a post-Lisbon world in which the EU-State increasingly comes to take the place of former ‘nation states’ (as Britain is sometimes referred to) at the international top table, and in which real power no longer resides in the discredited Mother of Parliaments.

The Mother of all conspiracy theories, indeed. Watch this space!

He also preached another powerful message tonight. Both of the messages were meant for our church. C’è una evidente fase di strabismo che caratterizza le valutazioni sull’andamento dei mercati finanziari: da un lato abbiamo previsioni di imminenti catastrofi, dall’altro anticipazioni di un mercato rialzista epocale. La suddivisione dei commentatori è presente sia negli articoli sui quotidiani nazionali, sia sui blog degli esperti americani (vedere, per tutti, il sito dei “cercatori di ALPHA” www.seekingalpha.com).
Come districarsi nelle letture e, soprattutto, da che parte è ragionevole stare quanto alle conclusioni?
Innanzitutto dobbiamo prendere atto nei numeri di quel che si dice da tempo: il peso relativo dei paesi “emergenti” è aumentato sullo scacchiere economico mondiale. I dati previsionali del Fondo Monetario Internazionale ci dicono che gli USA valgono il 25,7% del PIL mondiale 2008, previsto in circa 57 trilioni di dollari, mentre i paesi UE contano per il 27%; la vera novità è che i Paesi BRIC (Brasile, Russia, India e Cina) valgono da soli il 16%, all’incirca come Germania e Giappone messi insieme.
La seconda considerazione è che i paesi del mondo industrializzato hanno subito una durissima battuta d’arresto da fine 2007 a metà 2009, mentre i paesi emergenti hanno sì rallentato il ritmo, ma hanno continuato a crescere. Per loro si prevede una velocità annua di sviluppo del PIL di +6% circa, mentre i paesi del G3 viaggeranno, se tutto va bene, alla metà del tasso di crescita. L’imponenza dei paesi “emergenti” sulla scena mondiale è perciò destinata a crescere, e così sono destinati a mutare gli equilibri strategico-politici. Teniamo inoltre presente che il PIL pro-capite degli emergenti è tuttora significativamente inferiore a quello dei paesi avanzati: ciò comporta che il percorso da svolgere per i primi è legato a settori noti e prevedibili, come per esempio l’automobile, e si può immaginare che l’entrata in scena sui consumi tipici delle società evolute di miliardi di nuovi individui provochi un aumento dei prezzi delle materie prime.
La terza considerazione riguarda lo stato dell’arte del ciclo economico nel G3: siamo alla vigilia della ripresa vera, o ci stiamo illudendo mentre nere nubi si addensano all’orizzonte?

Propendiamo decisamente per la prima ipotesi, senza nascondere che la strada si presenta piena di pericoli. Ci confortano due dati: le previsioni degli Amministratori Delegati negli USA sono ai massimi degli ultimi cinque anni; i dati sulla produzione sono più che positivi.

Sappiamo che non si può dire lo stesso dei dati sull’occupazione e sui consumi, tuttavia riteniamo che i primi smetteranno di peggiorare nel giro di sei mesi, mentre i secondi, sostenuti dalle cure fiscali, manterranno livelli decenti e, col 2010, torneranno a salire. La reazione dei poteri pubblici alla crisi è stata esemplare, e non appare tale da creare significativi problemi inflazionistici per un paio d’anni; i problemi della “strategia di uscita” dalle politiche espansive sono delicatissimi ma non insormontabili, e comunque meglio sbagliare per eccesso di stimolo che per difetto.
Le Borse sono scese venerdì, sulla scia di un paio di trimestrali deludenti (Bank of America, soprattutto, e General Electric) ma potrebbero trovare spunti di risalita nei dati di settimana nuova relativi alle case negli USA e agli ordini di beni durevoli in Europa. Come da copione, gli emergenti traineranno i vagoni dell’economia mondiale ancor un po’.

CONCLUSIONI

Occorre cercare il premio al rischio là dove è più remunerato: i settori più promettenti ci sembrano l’azionario emergente e le commodities (materie prime) specialmente i metalli legati all’industria (rame, alluminio e zinco). Molto interessanti gli ETF in materia, oppure gli investimenti su società commerciali legate ai produttori/consumatori nel ciclo.
Il resto del portafoglio può restare su qualche buon corporate obbligazionario, mai inferiore ad A-, e il resto in cassa remunerata al tasso BCE o poco meno.
