Jedes Fotohandy hat seit Jahren auch die Funktion, die Blitzlichtfunktion als Taschenlampe zu verwenden. Leider fehlt diese Funktion in der originalen Systemsoftware. Aber es gibt Abhilfe.

Wenn Dir ein Licht aufgeht

Die Funktion Torch – Taschenlampe gibt es original nicht, aber schlaue Programmierer haben das ganz schnell erkannt und für Abhilfe gesorgt. Diese Taschenlampenfunktion ist mal wieder, wie auch viele andere nützliche Mods von SWMail und funktioniert hervorragend.

Für die Installation der Software * Torch (from G900) von der Autorenseite benötigen Sie die Funktion CapsSwitch für die Rechtevergabe, einen Dateimanager a la SwissManager (es reicht die Free-Version 1.8) und auch den Sys-Installer-Mod von SwMail. Ohne diesen sagte unser Testtelefon ständig, dass die Software nicht installiert werden könne. Mit dem sys-Installer-Mod ging das problemlos.

Installiert wird wie üblich und die Software funktioniert einwandfrei.

Es stehen wie abgebildet die Funktionen “An für 1 Minute” ; “Dauer-An”; “SOS-Blinkcode” und “AUS” zur Verfügung. Die beiden LED’s des P1i geben ein gutes Licht um schnell mal irgendetwas in Dunkelheit sichtbar zu machen.

Man sollte sich jetzt nur noch überlegen, wohin man die Software packt, da man ja je nach Verwendungshäufigkeit entsprechend oft oder eben auch keinen Zugriff auf die Software benötigt.

Eine tolle Software, mit absoluter Empfehlung. Warum die Entwickler von SonyEricsson diese nicht gleich auf das Gerät geschoben haben, wird noch lange unklar bleiben.

Memang sudah menjadi takdir, secara nggak sengaja Ponsel Hitech M21 kesayangan ku harus nyemplung ke air dan berakibat aku harus mengeluarkan fulus untuk menggantinya, Innalillahi….

Tetap mencari HP China karena kemampuan dual On GSM nya yang sangat membuat ku nyaman membawa satu ponsel yang menampung dua nomor GSM yang berbeda. Untuk fitur 3G bagi saya pribadi ndak terlalu penting mengingat bagi saya itu belum punya manfaat bagi saya saat ini (just personal opinion no offense…).

Akhirnya pilihan pun jatuh ke Nexian Nx G900 dengan bundling kartu XL, oke beli deh  HP ini, berikutnya apakah Nexian ini bersahabat dengan mesin Ubuntu ku.

Oya sampai saat ini aku masih Ubuntu 8.04 aka Hardy Heron, dan tertanam pada MacBook kesayangan ku.

Oke let’s break the mitosssss…. :

1. Install wammu di Hardy Heron

$ sudo apt-get install wammu

2. tunggu sampai proses instalasi selesai, selanjutnya jalankan wammu dari Applications->Aksesories->Wammu

4. Mengenalkan Nexian Nx G900 yang saya lakukan dengan menggunakan koneksi bluetooth, hidupkan bluetooth di Nx G900, kemudian gunakan tools Phone Wizard

5. Ikuti langkah-langkah yang dari wizard tersebut.

6. Trobel shooting, kadang kita bingung menentukan jenis koneksi yang digunakan oleh Ponsel Nx G900 dan wammu, kami pun sempat gagal untuk menghubungan antara wammu dan Nx G900, melalui trial en error  akhirnya bisa ketemu jenis koneksi bluetooth yang dipergunakan.

7. Jika memang sudah dilakukan Phone Wizard tetapi masih tidak dapat mengkoneksikan Wammu dengan G900 kita dapat melakukan trial dan error dari menu Wammu->Setting

Dzisiaj zaliczyłem epic fail’a, i to raczej takiego jednego z serii “once in a lifetime”. Wczoraj dostałem sms’a na którego czekam od połowy czerwca – “Zapraszamy po odbiór telefonu. Serwis Enter-Tel”. Z racji tego, że wysyłka kurierem do mnie nie wchodziła w grę, decyzję podjąłem w ułamku sekundy – jadę do Białegostoku!

Zerwałem się dzisiaj przed 5 rano, żeby zdążyć na PKS, który wyjeżdża z sąsiedniego miasta (+/- 30km od mojej mieściny) o 6.30. Później 3,5 godziny w autobusie – w jedną stronę oczywiście. Wysiadam, jest gdzieś około 10, w stolicy Podlasia, słońce już konkretnie grzeje, ale myślę sobie “powrotny PKS mam o 14.40, przejdę się”. Po 20 minutach spaceru stoję szczęśliwy w serwisie z kwitkiem o nadaniu sprzętu do naprawy. Babka szuka, i nie może znaleźć tego mojego telefonu. Pokazuję jej sms od nich, i co się okazuje? “Niestety, ale musiała zajść pomyłka. Telefon dalej jest w centrum w Warszawie i czeka na części zamienne”. Nosz kurwa, przez tą pomyłkę straciłem cały dzień, ponad 50 zł na bilety w obie strony, kilka godzin snu i musiałem zabić 4 godziny czekania na powrotny autobus z czego połowę tego czasu przesiedziałem na “przepięknym” (pod względem estetycznym i zapachowym) dworcu, bo nie miałem już nic do roboty. No i łącznie dzisiaj spędziłem 7 godzin w autokarze. Nawet nie jestem w stanie opisać poziomu mojego wkurwienia, bo cała ta wycieczka mnie przezajebiście zmęczyła. PDA jak nie było, tak nie ma i nikt nie wie kiedy bedzię zrobione.

Z całej sytuacji jest zadowolony chyba tylko mój ojciec, bo przywiozłem ze sobą dwie paczki jednej z jego ulubionych kaw.

Review – The G900 is an attempt to satisfy both fans of the touchscreen user interface model and the conventional keypad. This feature loaded phone is one of the most popular ones in the 3G market.  The connectivity is impressive (though a lot depends on the network too).But you have more options with Bluetooth and USB. It has the usual WiFi support and there’s no HSDPA  or EDGE support. It’s surprising why sony decided to exclude these.

The camera at best is decent enough. Of course expectations are really high from sony in terms of camera phones. The 5 MP camera offers nothing spectacularly different from a normal sony cybershot series phone. So if you are buying this for the camera, you might want to check out other models too. 

Also remember that sony ericsson doesnt accept normal SD card. So you would have to factor that cost in if you plan to use this phone for media intensive or web intensive activities. Sony memory sticks are comparatively costlier and add to the cost of the overall phone. The internal memory is not enough and you may find the phone slowing down or hanging up intermittently if you have a lot of data on the phone itself. So an added memory stick for sony would be a default purchase alongwith the phone.

Overall, connectivity is one of the higlights of the phone and it could turn out to be an excellent PDA for you. Retails between 20000-30000 in India.

A malincuore dovrò separarmi per alcuni giorni dal mio cellulare / palmare Toshiba per un aggiornamento del firmware che, sulla carta, dovrebbe renderlo un po’ più veloce, efficiente e stabile.

Prendo nota dell’attuale versione di firmware e sistema operativo per confrontarlo con ciò che mi ritroverò al rientro dalla “manutenzion straordinaria” dell’aggeggio:

Det är fortfarande lite finputsning kvar på temat innan det är helt klart, men det är redan nu användbart. Hittils har jag lagt ner ca 6 timmar på det.
