As a massive car fanatic, I’ve always had that one CD with pumping music that I would just pop in when going out for a long drive trough some curvy back roads. The one song that was consistently on every CD I created for this instance was Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes. The only bad thing is that this song would make me want to drive faster and faster and faster.

Motorcycle is another group similar to OceanLab. It is a fusion between a couple artists. This time around it’s a fusion of Gabriel & Dresden and Jes Brieden. You’ve heard it right, it’s Jes Brieden once again using her vocals for another killer track.

The version I’ve picked is the Above & Beyond Dynaglide Remix. This remix has been made very popular due to Armin van Buuren using it during his sets. Of course Armin being Armin, he’s made a couple remixes of this track as well.

here’s Lily’s track, The Fear which was released back in december. it’s a great track, that’s just begging to be remixes by the hottest remixers, and i must say that having Dresden (of Gabriel & Dresden), StoneBridge and Wideboys remixing a track of yours is only a good sign, and for the first time i actually love all three of the official mixes.

Întotdeauna mi-a plăcut viziunea muzicală a producătorilor ruşi. Aş putea spune cu certitudine că majoritatea producţiilor lor au “acel ceva” care îţi dă senzaţia de “uplifting feelings”. Ei produc o muzică electronică de bună calitate, în general vorbind. Şi nu mă refer doar la producţiile care ţin de trance/house/etc ci şi la producţiile pop/dance/etc. Ascultaţi negativele de la “Tatu” de exemplu.
Eugene Mazirko altfel zis şi scris, Noiz, e un producător rus care uimeşte în sensul bun, toti dj-ii europeni sau nu, prin viziunea sa muzicală. Cu siguranţă cea mai “gustată” producţie a sa a fost şi tot cu siguranţă încă este “Gentle motive”, cu vocalul lui Satory Seine, cântăreaţă ucraineană. Fiind atât de ascultată, aplaudată, copiată, cumparată, “Gentle Motive” s-a făcut şi cu un video.

Încă îmi pare rău de vestea destrămării celor de la Gabriel & Dresden..

Pe măsură ce continuam să citesc anunţul lui Dave Dresden îmi părea tot mai rău.  Zvonul conform căruia Gabriel & Dresden nu mai există în această formulă a fost confirmat de Dave. Nu a existat vreun conflict între cei doi, fiecare însă vrea să continue pe cont propriu, într-o carieră solo. Ultima lor petrecere în formula Gabriel & Dresden a fost la Beatport Pool Party. Să fiu sincer, am ascultat şi producţiile celor doi, separat, şi nu mi-au lăsat aceeaşi părere ca şi producţiile lor lucrate împreună. Am să pun mai multe melodii de-ale lor, remixuri clasice în area trance şi progressive house. Am numai amintiri plăcute şi să sperăm la un comeback

Ca atare, au mers la Las Vegas să îşi ridice premiile şi să colaboreze cu Gabriel & Dresden la remixul lui “Pearl”. So Josh Gabriel recently released his new album, Eight, and I decided that it was time to move on from the Gabriel & Dresden breakup sob story and give his solo career a chance. Don’t lie, you were a bit surprised when you heard that the fabulous chart topping duo was broken up after this past year’s WMC. It was unexpected! To be honest, I still don’t know the real reason why they broke up. However, I remember a particularly famous edm producer duo that broke up and quickly came back together in the past. It was none other than Deep Dish! So there’s still hope for all the Gabriel & Dresden fans out there!

Alas, this isn’t a post about the circumstances to their break up, but rather the release of Josh Gabriel’s new album. It’s the type of sound that I sort of expected from him, however not a single track on the album has a touch of vocal. Some of the tracks are familiar to most like Summit, Tone Program, and Crosstalk, while others are completely new to everyone’s ears.
