ISTAMBUL, 31 de outubro de 2009 (CDN) – um blogueiro que defendia a fé cristã na Internet está começando seu segundo ano de prisão sem processo e está sendo pressionado para se converter em muçulmano, em troca da sua liberdade, disse seu advogado.

No dia 3 de outubro de 2008, o blogueiro Hani Nazeer de 28 anos e que também é um assistente social escolar na cidade de Qina, no Egito e autor do blog “Karz El Hob” (“Cerejas do Amor”), foi preso pela polícia de segurança do Estado e enviado para a prisão de Burj Al-Arab. O Sr. Gamel Eid, diretor executivo da Rede Árabe pelos Direitos Humanos, disse que Nazeer causou irritação às autoridades muçulmanas ao criticar a islamização radical crescente no Egito. Os policiais detiveram ilegalmente dois irmãos de Nazeer e alguns dias depois, voltaram à sua casa e prenderam suas duas irmãs.

Os familiares de Nazeer ficaram presos numa delegacia de polícia e ameaçaram mantê-los presos até que o blogueiro se entregasse. Nazeer foi até a delegacia de polícia em outubro de 2008 e até agora está preso sem acusação ou processo.

Em setembro de 2009, Nazeer conseguiu informar às organizações de direitos humanos que como ele se recusava a se tornar muçulmano, os oficiais da prisão começaram a torturá-lo junto com outros presos.

Outros dois blogueiros egípcios estão presos, um deles Karim Amer, já cumpriu dois terços de sua pena mas o Ministério do Interior do Egito não vai libertá-lo mediante sursis.

Für alle, die es immer noch nicht kapiert haben bzw für alle Mitwirkenden:

Nachdem mir wirklich einige Leute die Tür eingrannt haben, wann denn nun der versprochene Artikel über den zweiten Humpenmacher, Rudi Buchtler, kommen wird, hier nun endlich die Erlösung!

Wie schon bei Günther Marx geschrieben, bin ich ein absoluter Fan von altem oder alteingesessenem Handwerk. Und so war auch der Besuch in der Werkstatt von Rudi Buchtler wieder ein Erlebnis. Erklärt und gezeigt zu bekommen, wie ein solcher Becher entsteht, ist schon beeindruckend. Am Anfang steht das Herstellen eines Rohres. Manch einer mag sagen, Kuperrohre gäbe es ja im Baumarkt zu kaufen – ja, aber nicht in der geforderten Qualität, Durchmesser und Materialstärke. Dann – und das ist der massive Unterschied –  zieht oder drückt Rudi Buchtler das Material nicht über eine vorgegebene Form, sondern dengelt es mit Hammer und Amboss in die gewünschte Form. So ist ein jeder Humpen auch ein Unikat – zu sehen an den unterschiedlichen Hammermalen auf dem Bild unten (bei gezogenen Humpen ist jede Delle an der der gleichen Stelle). Anschliessend wir der Becher nochmals geätzt, eingelassen und anschliessen matt gebürstet. Innen erhält er eine Versiegelung aus flüssigem Zinn. Das Gewicht seiner Humpen ist locker das drei bis vierfache eines gezogenen Bechers.

Auch bei RB gilt, die Preise ab Werkstatt sind bei weitem nicht so wuchtig wie bei manch bekanntem LaHo-Devotionalienhändler in Landshut. Dass es verschiedene Größen und Ausführungen gibt, versteht sich von selbst. Da Rudi nur auf Wunsch fertigt, ruft ihn doch einfach an:

Hier darf ich euch nun voller Stolz  das Bild meines “Erbstücks” (der Linke von beiden, LaHo 1985), das von Rudi frisch restauriert, gereinigt und verzinnt wurde, anheim legen, rechts ein neuer kleiner “Frauenbecher”.

Diese Woche ist es wieder soweit, die BR-Live-Sendung “Südwild” macht in Landshut Station und berichtet bis Donnerstag jeden Tag aus der Altstadt. Mit dabei sind Bands aus Landshut und Umgebung, das Landshuter Kurzfilmfestival sowie natürlich die Landshuter Hochzeit. Am Donnerstag hat sich das Prinzenpaar angekündigt, gestern waren die Trommler live vor dem Bus und haben ein kleines Ständchen zum Besten gegeben.

Für alle, die nicht in die Altstadt gehen konnten bzw. auch nicht daheim vor der Glotze saßen gibts hier den Stream:

Brautpaar, die fünfte….

Als ich diese Reihe zur Vorstellung eröffnet habe, hätte ich niemals vermutet, daß es so einen Wirbel um unser diesjähriges Brautpaar geben könnte.  Gottseidank haben sich die Wogen geglättet, und die zwei haben sich in ihre zukünftigen Rollen eingewöhnt. Dass wir den beiden immer noch eine wunderschöne Laho wünschen und unser aller Unterstützung geben werden, versteht sich von selbst!

In this months article I am looking at how to transform your business into a service business, and if you are already in one what you need to look at to improve.

The Shift From Customer to Client.

Service businesses make up approximately 65% of the Australian economy, up to 75% of the European and 85% of the US economies.

Shifting your mindset from moving product to collaboratively creating value with the customer through providing a service can yield far greater results.

Co-creation of Value
The role of a service businesses is to help ‘unlock’ value for the customer. Service work is collaborative, it is not something you ‘do’ to a customer, rather it is about the ‘co-creation of value’ between the producer and customer. Where the customer is in the boundary of organisation.

To unlock the value in service businesses there essentially two variables which need to be considered. Technical Service Quality and Customer Service Quality.

Technical Service Quality
That is doing what you do – well. The first is the technical service quality. That is being able to consistently and reliably deliver your service time after time. This is fundamental to service.

The banking sector in the last 5 years has taken on ‘six sigma’ initiatives, which has significantly improved service quality. Inspired by GE, Australian Banks have implemented this approach to service to reduce the time taken to approve their mortgage broker applications. Rapid response being a key to providing value to the customer.

This demonstrates the power of ‘process design’ as a core science of service businesses. Creating predictable repeatable systems, which are managed up and down the value chain.

Customer service
The second aspect of innovation in the service economy is the actual delivery of the service. The cognitive sciences of human behaviour must be examined. As we don’t simply hand over a product and walk away, instead we deliver a knowledge and help them utilise it. How do we demonstrate and measure value?

Ultimately service businesses are all about relationships. There is no transfer of product. You must get your customers very involved. Listening more and tailoring solutions to their specific needs to achieve the goals they have and unlocking value for them.

Where can you shift to selling what you know? The message is customise and co-create with your customer, thereby making them a client.

Techniques of the month: Identifying Your Core Capabilities

Understanding how you succeed is just as important as understanding your challenges.

1. Brainstorm a list of all your possible potential skills To kick start your thinking review recent successes, customer research, and benchmark studies.
2. From this list Identify which ones are truly distinctive (expect 5 to 25).
3. Further cut down this list by grouping into specific core capabilities (expect 3 to 6)

This exercise is used to determine, why and how you succeed. To asses you market position, and which capabilities to pursue for growth. It is not a wish list, but a pragmatic and critical assessment of your capabilities and ares of distinction.
