A few recent funny postings on Geek and Poke about the latest and fastest growing social networking phenomenon, Twitter, that is attracting a lot of media attention.  Twitter is a micro-blogging site with a limit of 140 characters per update or “tweet”.

Below is a funny YouTube video about Twitter called the Twitter Song (Do the Twitter Dance).

I have been using Twitter (username: bartman905) for the past 2 months (85 updates, following 21 and 14 followers – not sure why they are following me really) but I am still not fully into it for some reason, unlike the people in the above video. Oh well.

Geek & Poke è un webcomic di Oliver Widder. Oliver è un informatico tedesco che si diletta a spiegare l’oscuro mondo dell’IT e i pazzi che lo popolano. Le vignette sono graficamente ridotte all’osso. Uno sfondo bianco con i personaggi solitamente relegati  nell’angolo in basso a destra. Per apprezzare l’ironia presente nei testi è quasi obbligatorio essere dei professionisti del settore  e talvolta neanche questo basta. Fortunatamente in calce alle vignette c’è sempre una riga di spiegazione, con un link alla pagina web che ha fornito l’ispirazione.

Sicher habt ihr schon gemerkt, dass es in RL Gruppierungen gibt, die irgendwie “anders” sind (unabhängig jetzt von Mann und Frau… ist euch übrigens schon aufgefallen, dass super viele Frauen in RL einen Männeravatar haben. Wahrscheinlich sind sie das ganze Multitasking satt und wollen sich in-game endlich mal erholen).
