Well, well, well people have always suffered from bugs, trojans, viruses, malwares and what not. Yes, I am talking about the beauty running on your machine, the beauty called Windows. Many Antivirus, antihacker solutions are available in the market to fight back the bugs. But do they live upto what they claim? Hackers as we all know are genius people sitting “inside” the computer and thinking of their machines as girl friends and the software they “code” as their children!
What happens if one such hacker hacks into your Windows machine?
Scared?
What happens if that hacker is a Microsoft employee?
Like Sachin Tendulkar hitting his own wicket?
What happens if that Microsoft employee turned hacker is known as the father of “windows vista”, the old beauty Windows XP in a new dress?

I am not sure about the answers because the answers lie in the future!!
In a strange accident, it has come to light that Dr. Shanmugam Muthukumarswamy,  has injected a bug into all Windows machines be it XP or Vista or even the new Windows 7.
Dr. Muthu a graduate from Stanford University hails from a small town in Karnataka. He has around 200 patents to his name and was the nominee to Turing award!. He is well known as Geniusmuthu among his peers and is famous for developing the core graphical architecture of windows. He was also a part of the team which entirely designed and wrote the windows explorer which goes on to explain why this particular bug is injected in the explorer.exe which went unnoticed for so many years.

The bug was supposed to trigger on 30th Feb 2010 at 00:00 Hrs GMT. All that the bug was expected to do was flash out a message on your computer until you click close. A harmless bug indeed. But what has astonished the Cryptography Gurus all over the world is how Dr. Muthu was able to encode it in such a way that it went unnoticed for so many years and never was shown as an error by the compiler because the message was not included as a print statement, but as a C keyword!. It is now an open secret that Dr. Muthu was a great fan of Geetha, a classmate of his, in JaiHo college, India. Dr. Muthu admits that he never had the guts to propose Geetha. He even is not sure whether Geetha ever knew about Shanmugam Muthukumarswamy’s existance!!! We in India know about M F Hussain being a great fan of Madhuri Dixit! Dr. Muthu never married in his life and has donated all his riches to an orphanage in her name. Dr. Muthu says “She was a champ, beauty with brains. First saw her when she was taking part in a rifle shooting competition and since then the bullet has stuck my heart!. Wish I had the guts to propose her then. Wanted to do something to wish her on her birthday, and thought 2010 would be great because she turns Xyears on that day. I never meant any harm to anyone though”

Bill Gates has issued a circular among the employees of Microsoft which reads
“Microsoft cannot forget the contribution of Geniusmuthu towards Windows. There will be no legal case against him. A new patch codenamed Geetha.1.0 will be released to fix the bug on all machines”

There is also a rumor that Milinda Gates personally met Dr. Muthu and expressed her dissatisfaction that Bill dint code anything like that to impress her!!!

Now we leave it to the users whether they want to apply the patch or allow their computer wish Geetha “Happy Birthday” on Feb 30th and also hope that the bullet from the rifle has not stuck a Google employee!!!

World renowned historian Dr. Vishal has made an astonishing discovery in the village near Vizag.
Dr. Vishal has found a book revealing ancient scripts which will change the history books, our kids read in the schools. It is about the great explorer and sailor Geetha who lived during 300 BC.
Dr. Vishal writes…..
“Geetha made her first impact during the expedition on the sea at the age of 26 in 318BC, when she was sent to SriLanka to install ChandraGupta Maurya as the Indian Emperor. The voyage gave Geetha her first experience of battle when a local king, who refused to pay tribute to Maurya, which resulted in the Battle of Srilain in 318BC.
Marked by her valor, a great Captain which she was, guided her fleet of ships to crush the enemy to their nightmare defeat. This successful journey of establishing Maurya’s regime in the SriLankan territory, bagged Geetha the confidence and praise of the Emperor himself. She was then made the captain of the entire Maurya Dynasty’s Naval unit, which to the shock of many Geetha rejected.
The fire in her, many said was something which she was gifted with…….The Passion, The Zeal, The Enthusiasm were unmatchable qualities inherent in her……………
Marked by her curiosity she set out on a long journey to the land of unknown. A few of her close crew members were part of the journey. Some feared the deadly oceans they had to sail their ships on………….
On August 10(according to the English Calendar), 312BC, five ships under Geetha’s command left Vizag and traveled from the  Gradlique River to Sanlúcar de Barrameda at the mouth of the river, where they remained more than five weeks. There the crew was resupplied, but bad conditions caused them to delay. After which, they continued to sail south along South America’s east coast, looking for the strait that Geetha believed would lead to the Spice Islands. The fleet reached Río de la Plata on January 10, 311BC. At 52°S latitude on October 21, the fleet reached Cape Virgenes and concluded they had found the passage, because the waters were brine and deep inland. Four ships began an arduous trip through the 373-mile (600 km) long passage that Geetha called the Estrecho (Canal) de Todos los Santos. The strait is now named the Strait of Geetha. Geetha was the first Indian to reach Fuego just east of the Pacific side of the strait.
They landed on a native island which was guarded by the local tribe…..As one of the sailor accompanying Geetha says in the book…
“When morning came, forty-nine of us leaped into the water up to our thighs, and walked through water for more than two cross-bow flights before we could reach the shore. The boats could not approach nearer because of certain rocks in the water. The other eleven people remained behind to guard the boats. When we reached land, [the natives] had formed in three divisions to the number of more than one thousand five hundred people. When they saw us, they charged down upon us with exceeding loud cries… The musketeers and crossbow-men shot from a distance for about a half-hour, but uselessly…”
Geetha was able to guide her army to victory, But the casualties suffered in the Philippines left the expedition with too few people to sail the three remaining ships. But nothing could stop Geetha on her journey. She with the few people were able to pass through the odds and sail back to Vizag on August 301BC….
This was a remarkable journey in many ways……..People saluted the great Sailor of all times Geetha……….She indeed was a diamond for the Maurya Regime….
Of the 240 crew members who set out with Geetha to circumnavigate the earth, only 18 completed the circumnavigation of the globe and managed to return to India…
As Dr. Vishal concludes….
We all know about the Pythogorean theorem, but in India Boudhayana had put up the same theorem centuries before the European’s could even understand it….Our culture is not only rich in Vedas……Geetha’s journey marked the proof that the earth is indeed round in the 300BC, 16 centuries before European sailor Ferdinand Magellan embarked the same journey. Philosophers have always wondered………………
Is there meaning to Life?
What is the purpose of life?

But sometimes I wonder…..
Is there meaning to lifeless objects?
What about the earth, sun, moon, stars? Do they have meaning?
Or is their purpose “only” to support life?
If yes, do stars support life? Do they have an impact on our life even though they are light years away from us?

Is God a living being? or is God just a lifeless object, supporting Life!!!!!

Whoever designed this Universe, designed the existence of stars with a purpose! and there are supposed to be more stars in the universe than living beings on earth!
And what is more amazing is that, a new star is born every second! (its not the tiny ’seconds’ needle in our clock, but the time dictated by the master clock of the Universe, which I feel is dilated)

I guess I have found an answer as to why stars exist!
Though this might seem like a fairy tale……I am sure there exists “truth” in this answer.
Every soul which leaves this earth, becomes a Star in the Universe
Stars have Massive Energy…………..I feel, so do Souls have.
“Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only it be converted from one form to another”
It goes on to say that our souls are soo powerful that anything is possible by us, its just that we realize it very late in life(guess after death, when we transform into stars )
The energy we possess is “just” converted to 27,000,000 Fahrenheit!

I am also observing a strange behavior in some of the stars………………Their behavior is somewhat related.
Eight years back, they all aligned at 75E 36, 28 N 22.
Now they have all aligned at 77E 35, 12N 59!!!
I thought that the position of the stars were fixed, but their movement is soo slow that, they appear fixed!
Now my mind questions, what are the moronic stars doing here?
But somehow after analyzing their color pattern & based on some facts described in NakshatraVeda, I got to know that they all are actually very very intelligent stars!!!
& the SIQ’s(Star Intelligent Quotient) matched with that of the Einstein’s, Newton’s, Pascal’s, Pingala’s  & Euclid’s respectively!
I finally found that these were the souls of those great personalities which got converted to Stars!

But still it doesn’t answer the quesition, what are they doing moving around like that?!
They seem to be following, keeping a watch on somebody on this beautiful earth
I don’t know whether they are scared that their accomplishments will be squelched by that “somebody” or are they curious to know what else wonderful can be unearthed in this vast & brilliant ocean called “Mathematics”, which they could not because they simply did not possess that High a Caliber

Absolutely sexy..5) Yashoda Vimaladarma. Not only she has the perfect face, there’s something that tells me that she’s burning with passion. She’s probably the most talented on this list..4) Vasanthi Chathurani. If you’ve watched Ganda Addara or Aadara Hasuna, you know what I mean..3) Achala Alas. Doesn’t she look like Angelina Jolie? Look at her eyes. And especially lips. I would love to kiss those. What’s unique about her is that she’s effortlessly graceful..2) Nilmini Thennakone. Well, maybe crying is the only thing she does on screen, but no one can deny she’s beautiful. Also, she looks more intelligent than she really is..1) Sabeetha Perera. There’s a reason for why people have become critical about how our Telugu movies are made. Our filmmakers often seem to be under the impression that it’s mandatory to present a slick flick with babes, bikinis, action sequences, comedy, drama, sentiment, love. But what they forget to do is write a sensible story. If you look at it carefully, you will realise that the actual story is only a filler for the next “commercial” element in the film and that’s oh-damn so predictable. This week’s latest release “Current” starring Sushanth, Sneha Ullal, Rashmi Gautam, Charan Raj and Tanikella Bharani fits exactly into that severely abused format of Telugu films. Directed by Surya Pratap, “Current” is intended to be that pleasant feeling when you meet your special one. Not here and all you end up feeling is the stench of an age old rotten love story which is packed with fresh actors and locations.

Sushanth (Sushanth) is a happy go lucky guy who believes in living at the moment. His father (Tanikella Bharani) is vexed with his son’s behaviour but Sushant’s doting mother (Sudha) always comes to his rescue. Sushanth falls in love with Sneha (Sneha Ullal), who’s the daughter of a High Court Judge (Charan Raj). After few so called “smart” moves, the guy wins over the girl and before they live happily ever after…of Yes!! You guessed it right…they break up because of some irreconcilable differences.  And you know exactly what’s about to happen. The End.

The genre of “Love” is abused to the extent that our filmmakers have redefined the meaning of what Love is. Of course, there have been umpteen movies in the past which had a charm in depicting “true” love. But “Current” follows the path straight from an overcrowded transformer all the way to the gutters of hell. Along with it, “Current” successfully carries poor souls like us to the realms of utter banality testing your patience with its “I am so serious” attitude! The problem with “Current” has got nothing to do with its script/direction/acting, it’s the idea behind the movie that “Love’s Eternal and no matter what you do, you can’t kill it.” Come on! Seriously…Mr.Surya Pratap, I ask you how can you create a new version of a story which has been told and retold atleast a million times across different cultures, countries. Ahhh…I get it. There wasn’t any story, it was all about the “treatment” and a promise for presenting the film differently. Isn’t that true? Well, guess what? Your film sucks. And it sucks to the extent which I can’t put it in words.

I have no words for the cast or the technicians in the movie. However, Rashmi Gautam (as Geetha)  is a revelation and she definitely looks and acts much better than Sneha Ullall! The guy who acted as Khadhar in Vennela are good. The rest of the cast is wasted. Even Brahmi falls way short of his usual style. And if the disaster wasn’t enough, the filmmakers even bring in the jumbo of Indian softcore, Shakeela to save the act. Barf! Barf! Barf!

Music is alright by Devisri Prasad, but there’s nothing sparkling about them. Cinematography by Vijay C Kumar is good in couple of action sequences. Direction by Surya Pratap is decent but then I wish he had gone through the screenplay, editing, story, dialogues a lot more times. Perhaps even that wouldn’t have been enough to save this film.

Movies like “Current” are exactly the reason why I have started to hate romance based movies. They are so insipidly written that I wonder if all that thrash is necessary to make up a love story. My advice to the Telugu screenwriters if you even give a damn, please watch movies like “Before Sunrise”, “Before Sunset” (both directed by Richard Linklater) if you plan to make yet another rip off/remake/inspired movie with a love story. Watch those couple of movies and you will realise that all it’s required for a love story are two people, million thoughts, expressions and a medium to share them.

For now, “Current” falls somewhere between a blandly cooked love story and a tastelessly served junk. The only good thing about the movie are its posters in every nook and corner of the state. Avoid this movie and save yourself from a “current” shock. They should seriously consider changing the tagline from “Connecting Hearts” to “Current On. Fuse Gone!”.

P.S: I have nothing against the film unit of “Current”. This post is an angry outpour and my revenge for the money and time I spent on this flick.

ആ ശബ്ദകോലാഹലം ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും പ്രതിധ്വനിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ദൃതരാഷ്ട്ര പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയം പിളര്‍ന്നു.

അല്ലയോ മഹാരാജാവേ, പിന്നെ ആയുധ പ്രയോഗം തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ വേറെതിരിഞ്ഞു നില്ക്കുന്ന ദൃതരാഷ്ട്ര പുത്രന്മാരെ കണ്ട് വില്ലുയര്‍ത്തി പ്പിടിച്ചിട്ടു അര്‍ജുനന്‍ കൃഷ്ണനോട് അപ്പോളിങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു.

അര്‍ജുനന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: അച്യുതാ, രണ്ട് സേനക്കും നടുവില്‍ എന്‍റെ തേര്‍ നിര്‍ത്തുക. ഞാന്‍ പോരാടാന്‍ കൊതിച്ചു നില്ക്കുന്ന ഇവരെ ഒന്നു കണ്ടുകൊള്ളട്ടെ. എനിക്ക് ആരോടാണ് ഈ യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ പോരാടേണ്ടത് ധുര്‍ഭുദ്ധിയായ ധുര്യൊദനനു പോരില്‍ പ്രിയം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരായി ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ ആരൊക്കെയാണോ യുധാഭിലാഷികളായ അവരെ ഞാന്‍ കാണട്ടെ.

സഞ്ജയന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഭരത വംശജനായ രാജാവേ, അര്‍ജുനനാല്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ പരയപ്പെട്ടപ്പോല് ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്‍ ഉത്തമ രഥത്തെ രണ്ട് സൈന്യത്തിന്റ്റെയും നാടുവില്‍ നിര്‍ത്തി, ഭീഷ്മര്‍ ദ്രോണര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ എല്ലാ ഭൂപലകരും നില്‍ക്കെ, “അര്‍ജുനാ, ഒത്തുചേര്‍ന്ന ഈ കുരുക്കളെ കണ്ടുകൊള്‍ക” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

അവിടെ രണ്ടു സെനകളിലായ് നില്ക്കുന്ന പിതാക്കളെയും പിന്നെ പിതാമഹന്‍മാരെയും ഗുരുക്കാന്‍മാരെയും അമ്മാവന്മാരേയും സഹോദരന്‍മാരെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും അതുപോലെ കൂട്ടുകാരെയും ശ്വശുരന്മാരെയും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെയും അര്‍ജുനന്‍ കണ്ടു.

ആ കുന്തീപുത്രന്‍ ബന്ധുക്കളെ എല്ലാം നന്നായ്‌ നോക്കിക്കണ്ട്‌, അത്യന്തം കൃപയോടെ വിഷാധിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഇങ്ങിനെ പറഞ്ഞു.

അര്‍ജുനന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: കൃഷ്ണാ, യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങി അടുത്ത് നില്ക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്വജനങളെ കണ്ടിട്ട് എന്‍റെ അംഗങ്ങള്‍ തളരുന്നു, വായ് വരളുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. എന്‍റെ ശരീരത്തില്‍ വിറയും രോമാഞ്ചവും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു. ഗാണ്ടീവം കൈയ്യില്‍ നിന്നും വഴുതുന്നു. ദേഹം ചുട്ടുനീറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. നില്‍ക്കാന്‍ എനിക്ക് കഴിയുന്നില്ല. എന്‍റെ മനസ്സു സംബ്രമിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ തോന്നുന്നു. പല ദുര്നിമിതങ്ങളും കാണുന്നു.

യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ സ്വജനത്തെ കൊന്നിട്ട് ഒരു ശ്രേയസ്സും ഞാന്‍ കാണുന്നില്ല.

കൃഷ്ണാ, വിജയവും രാജ്യവും സുഖങ്ങളും ഞാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഗോവിന്ദാ, നമുക്കു രാജ്യം കൊണ്ടു എന്ത് കാര്യം? ഭോഖങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടോ ജീവിതം കൊണ്ടു തന്നെയോ എന്ത് ഫലം?

ആര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടിയാണോ രാജ്യവും ഭോഗങ്ങളും സുഖങ്ങളും നാം ആഗ്രഹിച്ചത്‌. അവര്‍ ഗുരുക്കന്‍ മാരും പിതാക്കളും പുത്രന്മാരും അതുപോലെ മുത്തച്ഛന്‍മാരും അമ്മാവന്മാരും ശ്വശുരന്മാരും പൌത്രന്‍മാരും അളിയന്മാരും അതുപോലെ ബന്ധുക്കളും, പ്രാണനും ധനവും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു യുദ്ധക്കളത്തില്‍ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി നില്ക്കുന്നു.

മധുസൂധനാ, എന്നെ കൊന്നാല്‍ പോലും ഇവരെ മൂന്നു ലോകത്തിന്റ്റെയും ആധിപത്യത്തിന് വേണ്ടിപ്പോലും കൊല്ലാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല. പിന്നെയാണോ ഈ ഭൂമിക്കു വേണ്ടി?

ഹെ ജനാര്‍ധനാ, ദൃതരാഷ്ട്രപുത്രന്‍മാരെ കൊന്നിട്ട് നമുക്കു എന്ത് പ്രീതിയുണ്ടാകും? ഇവരെ കൊന്നാല്‍ പാപം മാത്രമാണ് നമുക്കു ഫലം.

“Michael” I replied and named all my staff members hovering there. But my tongue was slipping. I checked my body for injuries finding no injuries except a splitting headache. Was helped into the bus to be taken to a hospital on that road. I could feel blood spilling from my nostrils and with no evidence of any external injury, I was scared-sure this was internal and something serious. Laid on the metal stretcher, I kept myself together. Even keeping my eyes open was difficult but open I kept them till I saw Geetha, my wife into our 2^nd year of matrimony. She had just joined me from Delhi with all our baggage on Saturday morning. ‘Just what the doctor ordered’! She came in. I saw her, called out her name and closed my eyes, welcoming the opportunity to sleep. 

I saw him and realised there was a need to remain calm. Thinking how to reach my elder brother Mohan in Bangalore residing on the other end of town. I did not have the number as Neel kept shrieking about the headache. Remembered, our meeting Kannan, Neel’s cousin with Mohan. Both had exchanged business cards. It was designed I take down Kannan’s number & retain it. Called him up & explained the predicament. He came down shortly and we called Mohan. Mohan too rushed. Since it was midnight, the senior doctors had left for the day with the interns & junior doctors in attendance. They suggested an ‘open-brain surgery’ and started tonsuring Neel. Mohan called up his dear friend Dr. Sharan a neuro physician at The Manipal Hospital and explained. By this time Neel could not move his left side of the body. Sharan told us to exit with Neel immediately to Manipal Hospital. Problem- The authorities would not let us take Neel as it was a ‘medico-legal’ case. Mohan signed the forms claiming full responsibility for the patient’s condition. It was a long drive from this hospital to The Manipal Hospital. 

No sooner had we reached Dr. Sharan had he wheeled him for a scan which confirmed our fears. Neel had suffered a cerebral stroke with the clot in the right brain to be surgically removed. Dr. Hegde, the calm, quiet neurosurgeon whose fingers were similar to that of a pianist operated and removed the clot. We all had just relaxed a wee bit with a cup of coffee, the clock reading 0700 hours (4 hours waiting outside the OT). Neel’s clot had been removed successfully and he was transferred straight to the ICU.

“இந்த தேசத்தில் வருணாசிரமம் தொடங்கிய அந்தக் காலகட்டத்தி லிருந்து, அதற்கான எதிர்ப்புகளும் தொடர்ந்து இருந்து கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறது. ஏன், கீதையே கூட அதன் எதிர்ப்பாகத்தான் எழுதப்பட்டது என்று சொல்லப் படுகிறது.

அப்படியானால் உங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இருக்கும் பொறுப்பு என்ன என்பதை நீங்கள் நினைவில் வைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். உங்கள் மனமாற்றத்தினால்தான் இந்த ஜாதி அழியும் என்ற பொறுப்பை 4000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னால், அர்ஜுனன் நம்மீது ஏற்றி வைத்து விட்டுப் போயிருக்கிறான். ஆனால் கீதையே, இப் படி பல இடங்களில் திரும்பத் திரும்ப ஜாதியத்தை வலியுறுத்தி, அது இந்த எதிர்ப்புகளுக்கு எதிர்ப்பான விஷயமாகத்தான் இருந்திருக்கிறது என்பதை நாம் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். என்று சுட்டிக்காட்டியுள்ளார், கீதை ஒரு கொலை நூல் என்பதை யும் திலகருடைய மேற்கோள் ஒன்றையும்கூட பொருத்தமாகச் சுட்டிக்காட்டிப் பேசியுள்ளார் கவிஞர் கனிமொழி.
இதை எதிர்த்து விநாயகர் வி. முரளி அறிக்கை ஒன்றை இன்றைய (`தினமணி 17.6.2008) நாளேடு ஒன்றில் விடுத்துள்ளார்.
“பகவத் கீதையில் இல்லாததை திரித்துக் கூற வேண்டாம் என மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினர் கனிமொழிக்கு இந்து இயக்கங்கள் கூட்டமைப்பின் மாநில ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் விநாயகர் வி. முரளி கண்டனம் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இது தொடர்பாக சென்னையில் அவர் வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கை:
`பெண்களால்தான் வருணாசிரம தர்மம் அழியும் என்று கீதையில் அர்ஜூனன் கூறுகிறார் என கடலூரில் நடைபெற்ற தி.மு.க., மகளிரணி மாநாட்டில் கனிமொழி பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
இது போன்ற கருத்துகள் பகவத் கீதையில் இல்லை. இவ்வாறு இல்லாத கருத்துகளை திரித்துக் கூறியிருப்பது கண்டனத்துக்குரியது என்று விநாயகர் வி. முரளி தனது அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். என்று `தினமணியில் செய்தி வந்துள்ளது.
அப்படி எதுவும் கீதையில் இல்லை; இல்லாததை கனிமொழி கூறியுள்ளார். என்று கூறியுள்ளார். இது உண்மைக்கு மாறான செய்தியாகும். திராவிடர் இயக்கப் பேச்சாளர்களோ, எழுத்தாளர்களோ (திருமதி கனிமொழி உட்பட) ஆதாரமில்லாமல் எதையும் பேச மாட்டார்கள்.
கீதையின் முதல் அத்தியாயத்திலேயே உள்ள சுலோகங்களில் உள்ள கருத்தைத் தான் கவிஞர் கனிமொழி அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
“கிருஷ்ணா, அதர்மம் சூழ்ந்துவிட்டால், குலப்பெண்கள் கெடுவர். பெண்கள் கெட்டால் வர்ணசாங்கரியம். (குலங்களின் கலப்பு) ஏற்பட்டு விடும்.

“அதர்மாபிபவாத் க்ருஷ்ண ப்ரதுஷ்யந்தி குலஸ்திரிய:
ஸ்த்ரீஷு துஷ்டாஸு வார்ஷ்ணேய ஜாயதே வர்ணஸ்ங்கர:
(அத்.1 – சுலோகம் – 41)

இந்த உண்மையைத்தான் ஆதாரப்பூர்வமாக கவிஞர் கனிமொழி கூறியுள்ளார்.
கீதையைப் பரப்புபவர்களைவிட எதிர்ப்பவர்கள்தான் உள்ளபடியே படித்து ஆதாரப் பூர்வமாகக் கூறுகிறார்கள் என்பது இதன் மூலம் விளங்கவில்லையா?

கீதையை திரித்துக் கூறவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை

சென்னை, ஜூன் 19- பகவத் கீதையை திரித்துக் கூறவேண் டிய அவசியம் தனக்கு இல்லை என்று நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப் பினர் கவிஞர் கனிமொழி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து செவ்வாய்க் கிழமை அவர் வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கை விவரம்: ஜூன் 17 அன்று வெளியான தினமணி யில் விநாயகர் வி. முரளி என்பவர் கீதையில் இல்லாத கருத்துகளை கடலூரில் நடந்த தி.மு.க. மகளிரணி மாநாட்டில் கனிமொழி பேசி யிருக்கிறார். இதுபோன்ற கருத்துகள் பகவத்கீதையில் இல்லை என்று அறிக்கை வெளியிட்டிருக்கிறார்.

அதர்மாபி பவாத் க்ருஷ் ணப்ரதுஷ்யந்தி குலஸ்த்ரிய; ஸ்தரீஷீ துஷ்டாஸு வார் ஷனேய ஜாயதே வர்னாஸங் கர

இது கீதையின் முதல் அத் தியாத்தில் 40-ஆவது பாடல். கிருஷ்ணனை நோக்கி சொல் வதாக வருகிறது. விருஷ்ணி குலத்தில் பிறந்தவனே, குடும் பத்தில் அறமின்மை தலை யெடுக்கும்போது குடும்பப் பெண்கள் களங்கப்படுகின் றனர். பெண் சீரழிந்து கெட் டுப்போவதால்தான் வருணா சிரம தர்மம் அழிந்து தேவை யற்ற சந்ததிகள் பிறக்கின்றன என்பது அதன் பொருள்.

இந்தக் கடைசி வரியைத் தான் நான் மாநாட்டில் சுட் டிக்காட்டிப் பேசினேன். கீதையை மேற்கோள் காட் டுவதோ, உபநிஷத்தை, மகா பாரதத்தை, ராமாயணத்தை, பைபிளை, குரானை, திருக் குறளை மேற்கோள் காட்டுவ தென்பதோ தடை செய்யப் பட்ட ஒன்றல்ல. கீதையை திரித்துக் கூற வேண்டிய அவசியம் எனக்கு இல்லை. ஒரு கருத்தாக்கமோ, சமூக வழக்கமோ, அது பாரம் பரியமானதாக இருந்தாலும் கூட அதை இன்றைய கால கட்டத்தோடு பொருத்திப் பார்க்கும்போது அதன் நிறை குறைகளை பாதிப்புகளை ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கவேண்டிய அவசியம் ஏற்படுகிறது.

உலகத்தின் அத்தனை மரபு களும், மதங்களும், கோட் பாடுகளும் இன்று ஒரு மறு வாசிப்புக்கு உள்ளாக்கப்பட் டிருப்பதை நாம் கண்கூடாகப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கி றோம்.

மதத்தின் பெயரால், பாரம் பரியத்தின் பெயரால் பழம் பெருமையின் பெயரால் பெண்கள் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டது என்பது நிதர்சனம். அதை எதிர்க்கும் குரல்கள் எழும் போது இப்படிப்பட்ட கண் டனங்கள் எழும் என்பதும் நிதர்சனம். ஆனால், பகவத் கீதை யைக் காக்க கொடி தூக்குப வர்கள், அதில் என்ன இருக் கிறது என்பதைப் படித்துவிட்டு அதைச் செய்வது உத்தமம் என்று அவ்வறிக்கையில் கனி மொழி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

பகவான் : பலனை விரும்பி செய்யும் செயல்களின் பலனை, தான் அனுபவிக்காமல் விட்டுக் கொடுப்பது தியாகம் என்றும், அச்செயல்களையே விட்டு விடுவது சன்யாசம் என்றும் பெரியோர்களால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

எல்லாவிதமான பலன் தரும் செயல்களையும் துறக்குமாறு அறிஞர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர். ஆனால் யாகம், தானம், தவம் போன்ற தியாகச் செயல்கள் என்றுமே துறக்கப்படக்கூடாது என முனிவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

மஹாத்மாக்களைக் கூட தூய்மைப்படுத்துவதால் யாகம், தானம், தவம் போன்ற தியாகச் செயல்கள் என்றுமே துறக்கப்படக்கூடாது; பலன் பாராது ஒரு கடமையைப் போல இவை செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதே என் அபிப்ராயம்.

விதிக்கப்பட்ட கடமைகளை ஒருவன் துறக்கக்கூடாது; மோகத்தால் துறந்தால் அத்துறவு தமோ குணத்தாலானது.

கடமைகளை, உடல் வருத்தத்திற்குப் பயந்து துறந்தால், அது ரஜோ குணமாகும். இதற்கு துறவின் பலன் கிட்டாது.

செய்வதற்காக மட்டுமே, விதிக்கப்பட்ட கடமையைப் பலனில் பற்றின்றி செய்பவனது துறவு, சத்வ குணத்தாலானது.

சத்வ குணத்தவன், மங்கலச் செயல்களில் பற்று வைப்பதோ, அமங்கலச் செயல்களை வெறுப்பதோ இல்லை. செயல்பாடுகளிலும் அவனுக்கு சந்தேகம் வருவதில்லை.

உடலுடையவனுக்கு செயலைத் துறப்பது கடினம். எனவே செயலின் பலனைத் துறப்பவனே தியாகி எனப்படுவான்.

தியாகமற்றவனுக்கு இறப்பிற்குப் பின் சுவர்க்க, நரக அல்லது நடுநிலை எனும் மூவித கர்ம விளைவுகள் உண்டாகின்றன. சன்யாசிக்கு அவைகள் இல்லை.

உட‌ல் ம‌ன‌ம் வாக்கினால் எதைச் செய்தாலும் அவை ச‌ரியான‌தோ அல்ல‌து த‌வ‌றான‌தோ இந்த‌ ஐந்து கார‌ணிக‌ளாலேயே உருவாகின்ற‌ன‌. இக்கார‌ணங்க‌ளைக் க‌ருதாது, த‌ன்னைக் கார‌ண‌மாக‌க் க‌ருதுப‌வ‌ன் அறிவாளி அல்ல‌; விஷ‌ய‌ங்க‌ளை உள்ள‌ப‌டி காண்ப‌வ‌னும‌ல்ல‌.

பொய் அக‌ங்கார‌மின்றி, ப‌ற்றின்றி இருப்ப‌வ‌ன் உல‌க‌த்தாரைக் கொன்றாலும் கொல்லாத‌வ‌னாவான். த‌ன் செய‌ல்க‌ளால் அவ‌ன் ப‌ந்தப்ப‌டுவ‌தில்லை.

அறிவு, அறிவின் இல‌க்கு, அறிப‌வ‌ன் இவையே செய‌லைத் தூண்டுப‌வை. க‌ருவி, க‌ர்ம‌ம், க‌ர்த்தா இவை செய‌லுக்கான‌ இருப்பிட‌ங்க‌ளாகும்.

முக்குண‌ங்க‌ளுக்கு ஏற்ப‌ அறிவு, செய‌ல் ம‌ற்றும் செய‌ல்ப‌டுவோர் இருக்கின்ற‌ன‌ர்.

வேறுப‌ட்ட‌ உயிரின‌ங்க‌ளில் வேற்றுமையின்றி ஒரே ஆன்மீக‌ இய‌ற்கை (ஆன்மா) இருப்ப‌தாய் காணும் அறிவு ச‌த்வ‌ குண‌த்திலான‌தாக‌க் க‌ருத‌ப்ப‌டுகிற‌து.

வெவ்வேறு உட‌ல்க‌ளில் வெவ்வேறான‌ உயிரின‌ங்க‌ள் இருப்ப‌தாக‌ அறியும் அறிவு ர‌ஜோ குண‌த்தினாலான‌தாக‌க் க‌ருத‌ப்ப‌டுகிற‌து.

உண்மையைப் ப‌ற்றிய‌ அறிவின்றி, ஒரு காரிய‌த்தையே பிடிவாத‌மாய் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு, அதையே எல்லாமாக‌ அறியும் அறிவு த‌மோ குண‌த்தாலான‌து.

பற்றின்றி, விருப்பு வெறுப்பின்றி, கடமையாகக் கருதி, பலன் விளைவுகளைத் துறந்து ஆற்றப்படும் செயல் சத்வ குணத்திலானதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

பெரும் ஆசையுடனும், பெரும் முயற்சியுடன், பொய் அகங்காரத்துடன் ஆற்றப்படும் செயல்கள் ரஜோ குணத்திலானதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

பின்விளைவயும், பந்தப்படுவதையும் பாராது அறியாமையுடனும், பிறருக்கு தீமை தரும்படியும் துவங்கப்பட்ட செயல்கள் தமோ குணத்திலானதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

பற்று நீங்கியவனாய், பொய் அகங்காரமற்றவனாய், உற்சாகம் ஊக்கமுடையவனாய், வெற்றி தோல்விகளில் நடுநிலை கொண்டவனாய் செயல்படுபவன் சாத்வீகன் ஆவான்.

செயலின் பலனில் இச்சை கொண்டவனாய், அதனை அனுபவிக்க விரும்புகிறவனாய், பேராசை, பொறாமை கொண்டவனாய், தூய்மையற்றவனாய், மகிழ்வும் சோர்வும் கொள்பவனாய் செயல்படுபவன் ரஜோ குணத்தவன் ஆவான்.

சாஸ்திர விதிகளுக்கு எதிராய் நடப்பவனாய், அறிவற்றவனாய், முரடனாய், ஏமாற்றுபவனாய், புறங்கூறுபவனாய், சோம்பேறியாய், கடுகடுப்பு கொண்டவனாய், காலம் தாழ்த்துபவனாய் செயல்படுபவன் தமோ குணத்தவன் ஆவான்.

அர்ஜுனா, முக்குணங்களுக்கேற்ப செயலாற்றுபவனது விவேகமும், மன உறுதியும் மூவகைப்படும்.

செய்யத்தகுந்தது – தகாதவை எவை, பயம் கொள்ளத்தக்கது – தகாதது எவை, பந்தப்படுத்துவது – விடுபடுத்துவது எவை. இவைகளை முன்கூட்டியே அறியும் விவேகம் சத்வ குணத்திலானது. (நல்லது நல்லதாகவும், கெட்டது கெட்டதாகவும் தெரிகின்றது).

அங்கனம் பகுத்தறிய இயலாத, தர்ம அதர்மங்களின் போக்கினையறியாத ஒருவனின் விவேகம் ரஜோ குணத்திலானது. (நல்லது கெட்டது தெரியாது).

அதர்மத்தை தர்மமாகவும், தர்மத்தை அதர்மமாகவும் அறியும் விபரீத விவேகம் தமோ குணத்தாலானது. (நல்லதெல்லாம் கெட்டதாகவும், கெட்டதெல்லாம் நல்லதாகவும் தெரியும்).

மாறா உறுதியுடன், மனம், வாழ்வு, புலன் செயல்கள் இவற்றைக் கட்டுடன் வைத்திருப்பவனது உறுதி சத்வ குணத்திலானது.

அறம், பொருள், இன்பம் இவற்றின் பலன்களை பற்றுடன் விடாமல் வைத்திருப்பவனின் மன உறுதி ரஜோ குணத்திலானது.

அதிக உறக்கம், கனவு, அச்சம், கவலை, கடுப்பு, பிடிவாதம் கொண்டவனின் மனவுறுதி தமோ குணத்தாலானது.

முதலில் விஷம் போன்றும், பிறகு அமிர்தம் போன்றும் அனுபவிக்கப்படும் சுகம் சத்வமானது.

செயல்களில் ஈடுபட்டாலும் என் பக்தன் எனது கருணையால், எனது பாதுகாப்பில் அழிவற்ற பரமபதத்தை அடைகிறான்.

எனவே என்னையே சார்ந்து, எனது பாதுகாப்பில் செயல்படு. இதனால் என்னைப் பற்றிய முழு உணர்வுடையவனாய்.

என் பேச்சைக் கேளாமல், நீ போரிட மறுத்தால், உன் வீரம் வீணாகும். மேலும் நீ தவறாக வழி நடத்தப்பட்டு, உன் இயற்கையே உன்னைப் போரிட வைத்துவிடும். மயக்கத்தால் நீ செய்ய மறுப்பதை உன் ஸ்வபாவமே செய்ய வைத்துவிடும்.

அர்ஜூனா, முழுமுதற் கடவுள் ஒவ்வொருவரின் இதயத்திலும் இருந்தவாறு, இயந்திரம் போன்ற உயிரினங்களின் பயணத்தை வழி நடத்துகிறார். முழுவதும் அவரைச் சரணடை. அவரது கருணையால் தெய்வீக அமைதியையும் நித்திய தலத்தையும் அடைவாய்.

ஞானங்களிலெல்லாம் ரகசியமானதை உனக்குச் சொல்லி விட்டேன். இனி நீ ஆராய்ந்து உன் விருப்பப்படியே செய்.

என்னையே நினைத்து, என் பக்தனாயாவாக‌. என்னை வழிபட்டு உன் வணக்கங்களை எனக்கு சமர்ப்பிப்பாயாக. இவ்விதமாக நீ என்னிடம் தவறாது வந்து சேர்வாய். நீ எனக்கு நண்பன் என்பதால் இந்த வாக்குறுதியைத் தருகிறேன்.

எல்லா மதங்களையும், அவற்றின் மீதான உனது அபிமானங்களையும் விட்டு என்னைச் சரணடைந்தால், எல்லா பாப விளைவுகளிலிருந்தும் உன்னை நான் விடுவிக்கிறேன். நீ பயப்படத் தேவையில்லை.

தர்மங்கள் நிறைந்த இவ்வுரையாடலைக் கற்பவன், அறிவால் என்னை வழிபடுகிறான் என நான் அறிவிக்கிறேன்.

பகவான்: குந்தி மைந்தா, இவ்வுடலே க்ஷேத்ரம். இதை அறிபவன் க்ஷேத்ரக்ஞன். எல்லா உடல்களிலும் நானே அறிபவனாக இருக்கிறேன். உடல், அதன் உரிமையாளர் இதனைப் புரிந்து கொள்வதே ஞானம். இதுவே என் அபிப்பிராயம்.

(உடலே க்ஷேத்ரம். அதனுள் உடலை அறியும் உரிமையாளனும் (ஜீவன்), உரிமையாளனை அறியும் எல்லாமறிந்த பரமான்மாவும் வாழ்கின்றனர். இதில் ஜீவன், பரம புருஷ பகவானின் சக்தி அல்லது பகவானின் ஆன்மீக சரீரத்தின் அங்கத் துணுக்காவான். பரமான்மாவோ, பகவானின் பிரதிநிதி அல்லது அவரது சுயவிரிவு ஆவார்.

இனி க்ஷேத்ரம், அதன் மாற்றங்கள் – க்ஷேத்ரஞன், அவனது தன்மைகள் பற்றி சுருக்கமாக கூறுகிறேன். இவை முனிவர்களால் ஆய்ந்து சொல்லப்பட்டவை.

ஐந்து பூதங்கள், அகங்காரம், அறிவு, குணங்களின் தோன்றா நிலை, பத்து புலன்கள், மனம், ஐந்து புலன் விஷயங்கள் மற்றும் விருப்பு, வெறுப்பு, இன்பதுன்பம், உடலமைப்பு, உணர்வு, திட நம்பிக்கை இவைகளே க்ஷேத்ரமும், அதன் தோற்றமும் ஆகும்.

அடக்கம், பெருமை கொள்ளாமை, அஹிம்சை, பொறுமை, நேர்மை, சத்குருவை ஏற்றல், தூய்மை, நிலைபிறழாமை, புலனடக்கம், புலனுகர்வில் துறவு, பொய் அகங்காரமின்மை, தீமைகளை கவனித்தல் (பிறப்பு, இறப்பு, மூப்பு, பிணி போன்றவை), மனைவி, மைந்தர், இல்லம் மற்றும் பிறரிடம் பற்றின்மை, இன்ப துன்பங்களில் நடுநிலை, என்னிடம் மாறாத தூய பக்தி, தனியிடத்தை நாடுதல், கூட்டத்திலிருந்து விலகியிருத்தல், ஆன்மீக விஞ்ஞானத்திற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் தருதல், பூரண உண்மைக்காக ஆன்ம விசாரணைகள் செய்தல் – இவைகளே ஞானம் எனப்படும். இவைகளுக்கு எதிரானவை அஞ்ஞானமாகும்.

எதையறிவதால் நித்திய அமுதத்தை சுவைப்பாயோ, அறிய வேண்டிய அதனைக் கூறுகிறேன். துவக்கமற்றது அது. எனக்கு கீழ்ப்பட்டது. பிரம்மம் அல்லது ஆன்மா எனப்படுவது; ஜடவுலகின் காரண விளைவுகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டது.

(மூன்று விதமான பிரம்ம ஞானங்கள் – செயற்களமான இயற்கையும் பிரம்மமே. இட இயற்கையை ஆண்டு அனுபவிக்க விரும்பும் ஜீவான்மாவும் பிரம்மமே. இவையிரண்டின் உண்மை ஆளுனராக உள்ள பரமான்மாவும் பிரம்மமே.

மேலும் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் கரங்கள், கால்கள், முகங்கள், கண்கள் இவற்றுடன் பரமான்மா இருக்கிறார். அவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் கேட்கிறார். அவரே புலன்களின் மூலமாயிருந்தாலும் புலன்களற்று இருக்கிறார். அனைவரையும் காப்பவராயினும் பற்றற்றவர். குணங்களுக்கு இறைவனாய் இருந்தும் குணங்களற்றவர். அசையும், அசையா அனைத்திலும் உள்ளும் புறமும் உள்ளார். தூரத்திலும் இருக்கிறார், அருகிலும் இருக்கிறார், எனினும், ஜடப் புலன்களால் அவரைக் காணவோ, அறியவோ இயலாது.

அவர் ஜீவர்களில் பிரிந்திருப்பதாய் தோன்றினாலும், பிரிவற்றவர். உயிரினங்க்களைப் பாதுகாவலனாயும், அழிப்பவராயும், அபிவிருத்தி செய்பவராயும், பிரகாசங்களுக்கு மூலமாயும் இருக்கிறார். இருளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டவராயினும், தோன்றாதவராய் இருக்கிறார். ஞானம், ஞானத்தின் லட்சியமான அவர், அனைவரின் இதயத்திலும் இருக்கிறார்.

இவ்வாறாக க்ஷேத்ரம், அதை அறிபவன், ஞானம் அனைத்தும் சுருக்கமாக என்னால் விவரிக்கப்பட்டன. என் பக்தர்கள் மட்டுமே இவைகளைத் தெளிவாய் அறிந்து, எனது இயற்கையை அடைய இயலும்.

இந்த ஜட இயற்கையும், உயிரினங்களும் துவக்கமற்றவை. ஆனால் அவை இரண்டின் மாற்றங்களும் (ஆரம்பம், வளர்ச்சி, தேய்வு, முடிவு), குணங்களும் – ஜட இயற்கையிலிருந்தே உண்டாகின்றன, ஆன்மாவிற்கு சம்பந்தமில்லை.

செயல்கள், விளைவுகளுக்கு காரணம் ஜட இயற்கையாகும். ஆனால் இன்பதுன்பங்களுக்கு காரணம் உயிரினங்கள் மட்டுமே. அவன் இயற்கையின் தொடர்பால் முக்குணங்களின்படி பல சரீரங்களில் வாழ்ந்து, நன்மை தீமைகளைத் துய்க்கிறான்.
