Delicious Eva-flavored Doritos

In honor of the first Rebuild of Evangelion movie being released on DVD in the U.S., I thought I’d post my thoughts of the dub. My dub review comes from a theatrical viewing of the dub a few months ago, and is not representative of the DVD. But they should be identical anyway.

First of all, I completely loathed the original Evangelion dub (and I hated the original movie dubs even more). It had one of the worst assembled casts of all time. Worse than the people in “Manos: The Hands of Fate.” Not to mention one of the shittiest directors, Matt Greenfield, ever. Basically, he just cast a bunch of his no-talent friends, and had them ham it up. The original dub is on par with what you’d find in a middle school drama class. It is fucking awful. A testament to why you should never watch a dub. And just in case any of you think I “hate all dubs,” let me explain something else. There are some anime dubs that I loved, and watch those shows exclusively in English (e.g. Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Outlaw Star, and Fullmetal Alchemist — just to name a few). Anyway, my expectations for the Rebuild of Evangelion dub were extremely low. I was expecting a turd on celluloid. So, how did it hold up?

Shinji – Spike Spencer performed much better than he ever did in the TV series. It seems like he has grown quite a lot as an actor. His line delivery was spot on almost all of the time. He embodied the role quite well, and was very convincing. The only complaint I have is that his screams are somewhat comical, and when Eva-01 got blasted by Ramiel, his screams were so ridiculous they actually made me laugh out loud. I don’t think the other theater-goers were very happy with me.

Misato – Allison Keith-Shipp did a good job, too. While I still think her acting can be a little weak, and her voice shrill, for the most part she was fine. She had the proper amount of gravity during dramatic scenes, and the right amount of lightheartedness in the fun scenes. She was probably the person I hated the most in the original dub, and I expected her to ruin the entire movie. Fortunately, she has improved a lot as an actor since her original performance in the TV series. Not bad, not bad at all.

Rei – Her voice actress was excellent. She was able to be quiet and solemn, without sounding fake and hoarse like Amanda Winn-Lee (the original english Rei). She doesn’t have that many lines, but her delivery for all of them was perfect. Without a doubt, she was one of the highlights of the dub.

Gendo – Why is Crispin Freeman* not voicing this character? Gendo was all right, but not too memorable. He came off as more of a bastard than the previous dub actor, which is definitely a good thing. Still, there was something lacking in his performance. Maybe he came across as too emotionally involved, where Gendo should seem detached. Again, a good performance, but not amazing.     *Rumor has it that Robin Williams, a self-proclaimed Evangelion fan, also auditioned for the role of Gendo. While it might have been odd hearing a big star on an anime dub, I think he would have been much better than the person they went with. At least he would have sounded different than the actor who played Fuyutsuki.

Fuyutsuki – He sounds too much like Gendo, and sometimes it can be hard to tell which character is speaking. I’m apathetic to his performance as he does not have much of a presence in this movie.

Ritsuko – Sort of flat sounding. She had more of the detached voice that Gendo should have had. I think her actress, while good, could have been better. There’s just something about her voice that doesn’t quite fit the character.

Toji – The best Toji so far. At first I didn’t like his voice, but it grew on me. By the end, I thought he fit the role well.

Kensuke – I think that Greg Ayres did an awesome job. Even though he is omnipresent in anime these days, he did fine. His higher pitched, almost puberty-cracking voice was perfect for the role. He had the right amount of enthusiasm and nerdiness to make Kensuke memorable.

Keel – Although he only shows up in Monolith form, his voice is menacing as hell. Great choice.

Kaworu – He seemed all right, but his part was too brief to make any real judgment.

Bridge Bunnies – They sort of just blend into the scenes, and nobody stood apart from the others.

While I don’t think this cast will ever surpass the original Japanese actors, Funimation did a damn good job. This time they had a real director instead of motherfucking Matt Greenfield, and that payed off in spades. Spike and Allison have had years to improve their skills, and with a competent director, were able to turn in great performances. Overall, the dub was good, and I can entertain the idea of watching it again in the future. While the original Japanese is still the best, this English dub is a vast improvement over the ADV dub.

And also, it rocked watching Evangelion in a movie theater, on the big screen.

Verdict: Good

I’m feeling kinda unwell, so you don’t really get much of a blog entry tonight.

You get a brief recount of my day:

Went to an Internet Cafe, played some games, namely Left 4 Dead, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, and Counterstrike: Source. L4D was fun as always, and I managed to do fairly well in it. CS:S was also fun, and I also managed to do pretty well in that.

Forged Alliance is where I both shone and failed. The first game we played, I was still getting used to Forged Alliance, and the way it does things (I’m just used to playing Vanilla Supreme Commander, without FA). The map was too cramped for my liking, and, all in all, it was a pretty awful round. Props to Rear Admiral Reni, though, because he pretty much steam-rolled me.

The next game, however, was a different story. The map was spacious and I knew what I was doing. So I kicked some ass. I had about 15 Fat Boys, which are these giant mobile base things. I had 10 Defense Sattelites, which rain down death from above. I had over 600 other offensive units. The term ‘Complete and Utter Ass-kicking’  is bandied about a lot, but I feel justified in saying that’s what this was. And I did it all without nuking anyone.

Rita Comércio e Roberto Mendes

Ora vamos lá aproveitar um espacito aqui no nosso Correio para fazer uma auto-promoção.

Para quem ainda não reparou sou um dos carteiros aqui do Correio do Fantástico, chamo-me João Paulo, mais conhecido no mundo das Internets como gendo (lê-se “gëndo” e não “jendo”). 

Entrei para o Correio a convite do Roberto para dar uma ajuda na área da arte do fantástico, mais ou menos bem acho que até me tenho portado bem, embora com pena de não ter mais tempo nem meios para contribuir ainda mais aqui para este nosso cantinho. 

Gosto muito de arte, seja ela tradicional ou digital, gosto também muito de fotografia e de música. Neste momento ando mais virado para a fotografia, estou numa fase onde vou a sitios diferentes todos os fins de semana, mas não descuro a minha verdadeira paixão que é o desenho digital.

Iniciei-me no mundo digital quando um dia me decidi a comprar uma mesa digital, e fiquei logo apaixonado. Embora agora ande numa fase em que nada do que faço me satisfaz.

Vou aproveitar este espacinho para mostrar alguns dos meus trabalhos, alguns já com vários anos, e divulgar o meu novo blog que tem de nome “Por Poucas Palavras” e que podem aceder através do endereço http://gendosplace.wordpress.com. Neste blog vou meter algumas das fotos que acho mais bem conseguidas e à medida que o tempo vai passando irei acrescentar mais secções.

Eva Unit 01 looking Kickass

Does anyone know about the book “Flowers for Algernon” and the whay it’s written? If yes, my blog is kind of going to be like it…except I’m going to be talking about my overall year with NGE…actually…I think this blog is going to be NOTHING like the book.

On my other account (which I plan to delete due to my IRL name being in it), I made a post on February 10 of 2008 about my slowly increasing interest in thew anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. I mentioned how I first heard about it in a rant about fanboys/girls in the anime community. The guy in the video mentions about how some fanboy said that mankind should be punished if everyone didn’t loved Evangelion or something. I was curious to know about the anime, Evangelion, so I typed the name into Google.com and I saw pics of it and etc. Basically, in my old blog, I just explained how I heard about NGE and etc.

However, this wasn’t the first time I heard about the anime for I’ve seen clips of it from AMV Hell. I’ve seen the “City is falling down”  clip (the audio being from the Animaniacs cartoon) and that Tootsie Roll Pops parody and etc. But AMV Hell wasn’t the first time I’ve heard of NGE. It was [Adult Swim] that introduced me to NGE around 2005 to 2006. However, I wasn’t intrested in NGE back then (Most likely because I thought it was just another anime I wouldn’t like or proabbly because I was around the age of 11 or 12 back then).

So around November of 2008, I tried to get a roll as the admrial for an Evangleion parody of  Episode 8 but (un)foutinatley, didn’t got the roll. It was actually a relief because I just broke my wireless headset (that wasn’t working and had a built-in microphone) and I was worried that I might get the roll but I would have nothing to record my voice with and bassicley have a “Aw shit!” moment.

So yeah, I honestly think this blog is kinda crappy but that’s ’cause I’m doing this in 6:00 in the morning. Also, I can’t wait to see what I have gotten this Christmas. I am expecting acouple of things like an Asatru neckalis, a Rei Ayanami Pillow, a copy of GTA: San Andreas, a Gmaeboy Color, and whatever my pairents could afford this year.

So with that Marry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Yule, and happy anyotherholidaythatIdon’tknow!

SINOPSE

Com o fim do terceiro impacto, Shinji e Asuka permanecem diante do interminável mar de LCL. Ao tentar enforcá-la, Shinji tem suas mãos paralisadas pela carícia de Asuka e se desmancha em lágrimas. No momento seguinte, inexplicavelmente, ele acorda nas instalações médicas da NERV… Logo antes do ataque de Bardiel.
Ainda transtornado com o que acabara de ver, Shinji julga tudo ter se tratado de um mero pesadelo. Disposto a evitar que tudo que vira se tornasse realidade, ele resolve mudar suas atitudes e se aproximar de Asuka. Entretanto, para seu desespero, os fatos pouco a pouco começam a se suceder novamente. Shinji começa a perceber que está dentro de um ciclo inescapável, que jamais será quebrado enquanto os assuntos do passado continuarem pendentes.

Gendo on Rei when confronted with Shinji’s refusal to pilot EVA-01

I read Leuconoe’s new post on deicide and thought the final question interesting to explore. (if our personal views don’t align with a particular story’s internal morality, do we judge the characters from our viewpoint, or the show’s?) Unfortunately, I have already picked a side with regards to it and have now this post (which started out as my comment to on his blog) to try to explain why I stand by it.

I’ve always believed in judging a character based (how ‘good’ or ‘bad’, or more accurately, how ‘complete’ or ‘empty’) based on the show’s given context. Unfortunately, I’ve not seen many shows in which the given internal morality differs greatly from my own generally accepted code, being a free-thinker and widely open, so I’ve never been really challenged to decide whether I accept or condemn a certain character’s actions. I can only remember a few instances where I’m challenged to consider a show’s premise when judging a character, and one of those is within Neon Genesis Evangelion.

In NGE, Ikari Gendo is portrayed as a cold hard father to his introverted and fragile son, Shinji. Though it’s never revealed in the show, Gendo confronts Shinji once in the manga at his wife’s empty grave and explains to Shinji that he gives the latter the cold shoulder because Shinji ‘is no longer an infant’ and has to ’stand up on his two feet and walk’, after which Shinji tries to argue that people may try to understand each other and Gendo promptly rejects.

NGE’s world is post-apocalyptic in nature; most of the world has died and there aren’t many to take their place. To further worsen the situation, giant flying freaks arrive on an irregular basis and attempt to end humanity altogether, as a predator does a prey. This suggests a shift of morality in NGE to one closer to animality, a code whereby survival takes precedence over everything else, including the value of a person and our recognized idea of how a family should function.

“Damn straight, yo!”

Hence, Gendo’s words to Shinji may be interpreted as that of a mother fox/wolf/insert-your-favourite-middle-of-the-food-chain-animal-here towards her cub (both who are able, by some miracle, communicate in words (like Pokemon)). He refuses to show affection towards his son, and instead tells him that he has to be independent in order to survive. He is a man living in the present, adopting what is required in his harse reality in contrast to Shinji and Misato who seem to still value a set of morals from the pre-Second Impact era, one which defends human rights and encourages people to love (though Misato obviously shows signs of not being able to hold onto said moral code).





That being said, one who looks at NGE through the eyes of our world may pity Misato and Shinji while misunderstanding or digging too shallowly into Gendo, labelling him simply as a ’shitty dad’ or a cold asshole. But it’s only through looking through the eyes of Gendo’s world may one, at the very least, empathize with him, and that’s why I’m all for judging a character through his/her show’s viewpoint, for the other option leaves me at risk of misinterpreting it.

To end this off, it’s time for a quote from Philip K. Dick’s A Scanner Darkly which I think has some relevance to this post and even if it doesn’t I find it cool anyway.

What does a scanner see? I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does a passive infrared scanner … see into me — into us — clearly or darkly? I hope it does see clearly, because I can’t any longer these days see into myself. I see only murk. Murk outside; murk inside. I hope, for everyone’s sake, the scanners do better. Because if the scanner sees only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we’ll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too.

Bleach

“Noroi no inko” (呪いのインコ) “El Periquito Maldito”

En el 4to episodio vemos el caso de una pequeña ave, un periquito (sé que no es un perico, es otro animal pero no recuerdo su nombre) que está cuidando Chad, parece ser que esta ave trae problemas a todo aquel que lo cuida, por lo que Chad se verá envuelto en una serie de accidentes por cuidar al pequeño que habla como cualquier otro persona, gracias a la fuerza descomunal que este joven posee es capaz de soportar todo por lo que está pasando hasta que un día llega con una grave herida en su espalda que lo ha hecho perder mucha sangre a la clínica de la familia de Ichigo, durante su estadía ahí, Yuzu (O Era Karín) puede ver algo en el ave…

El alma de un niño que no ha conseguido descansar en paz se encuentra encerrada en el ave (que no es perico ni loro) y es un hueco quien lastima a todos los que han tenido en manos el pequeño loro (Ave). Chad escapa de la clínica y tanto Ichigo como Rukia van trás él, Ichigo se detiene porque su hermana quien luego del encuentro con Chad y el ave ha enfermado y como quería advertir a Ichigo sobre perico salió a buscarlo, Rukia sigue persiguiendo a Chad pero al rato se comienza a notar cansada… es poco despues que aparece el hueco y Chad, dejando al periquito a un lado, regresapara ayudarla una vez escucha un fuerte estruendo…

Quien será este hueco y por qué hace lo que hace???

Podrá Chad luchar contra un hueco???

Bueno, los cortes del capitulo siguiente lo dicen todo… ^o^

Evangelion Renewal

“Ame, nigedashita ato” (雨、逃げ出した後)

Despues de la lluvia, La Huida…

Misato va a despertar a Shinji, pero cuando llega a su cuarto se da cuenta de que no está allí, se comunica con el cuartel en Nerv pero tampoco saben de él ahí…

Shinji parece no soportar el gran peso que tiene sobre sus hombros como piloto de un Evangelion, eso combinado con la discusión que tuvo con Misato luego de la muerte del anterior angel en el cual permitió que sus compañeros de clase entraran en la unidad en medio de la misión.

Touji Suzuhara y Kensuke Aida no saben de Shinji desde luego de la misión así que se encuentran preocupados por su nuevo amigo, cuando lo van a buscar a casa Misato miente diciendo que se encuentra en Nerv…

El errante Shinji se topa con Kensuke quien instaló una tienda para dormir en el campo y pasa la noche con él hablando… al día siguiente, inteligencia de Nerv lo va a buscar…

Shinji decide no seguir pilotando el Evangelion y cuando llega su tren para dejar Tokyo-3…

Comentario:

Las voces, las voces…

Shinji:

El actor Victor Hugarte no sé que le sucede con la voz de SHinji… es algo como quien pretende imitar la voz que tenía antes el personaje pero no le sale del todo bien, esa es la voz, pero tiene mucho de algo y poco de lo otro…

Misato:

Marisol Romero, no es la idea pero tampoco está mal… la voz que está usando con Misato a veces tiene tintes de la anterior Misato, la cual me gusta, pero tampoco es la idea hacerlo igual al anterior, pero es de pronto que suena así…

Kensuke Aida:

No recuerdo su voz muy bien, como sea me gusta mucho esta, creo que es parecido al caso de Misato, de pronto se parece y de pronto no pero sigue siendo acorde a lo que se deja ver de el personaje… Gabriel Ortiz

Touji Suzuhara:

Con él no estoy de acuerdo, tiene una voz muy profunda, y no es que el personaje no sea un chico rudo, es solo que si profundiza un poco más el tono de voz llegará a ser Chad de Bleach, ahora, miren a Chad y escuchen su voz, ahora miren a Touji y escuchen su voz… Lo que quiero decir es que la voz no va con la contextura de su cuerpo. Luis Daniel Ramírez hace su voz.

Jigoku Shoujo

“Grito inaudible”

Una niña quien lo unico que tiene en la vida es a su mascota ya que sus padres murieron tiempo atrás tiene las cosas un tanto complicada luego  de que su fiel acompañante sufreira un accidente del cual no se pudo salvar, culpa tanto a la asistente como al veterinario de incompetentes y en medio de su histeria se larga llorando…

Poco despues la niña regresa a la clinica para disculparse con ambos pues comprende que ellos dieron el todo por el todo para salvar a su querida mascota pero solo encuentra a la asistente…

La madurez de la niña confabulada con sus sinceras disculpas remuerden la conciencia de la asistente quien en un acto egocentrico decide decir la verdad a la ya resignada joven…

Ante la terrible verdad la niña se molesta terriblemente, el señor veterinario solo se sentó a discutir sobre golf mientras el pobre animal moría, ese terrible destino lo han sufrido muchos otros animales por lo que el rumor sobre la pagina de Enma Ai no tarda en llegar a los oidos de la protagonista de esta historia…

El capitulo:

Pues este me gustó mucho, no tanto la voz del veterinario, de resto me parece que estuvo muy bien…

No sé si es que no he prestado mucha atención a los anteriores pero algo que me gustó fue que la niña lo pensase dos veces antes de tirar el cordón y realmente se dijera, si muero voy al infierno, terrible ¿no?

Pero imagino que la justicia es algo que tiene más valor que la vida misma, quizas ese sea el mensaje…

Every year at Anime Punch the staff and volunteers get together and put on a puppet rendition of the Evangelion story, usually at the last possible moment and with a minimum of preparation.  We also have the assistance of a special guest, Tristan MacAvery, reprising his role as the voice of Gendo Ikari.  This year, thanks to the very awesome Diana Schnuth, we have a video of the performance.  So now I present it to you in all its glory.  It’s 47 minutes long, so know what you’re getting into before watching it.

And if you’re curious, I was the voice of two of the SEELEs.

Lo bueno, lo malo y lo feo parte II

Recordando un viejo tema que publiqué sobre Lo bueno, lo malo y lo feo del 1er Encuentro de Promotores hoy me veo en la obligación de hacer lo mismo con Animax, pero vayamos al punto y empecemos con lo bueno:

Bleach:

Nunca antes había visto la versión animada de Bleach, quizás un trailer aquí y otro allá pero nunca un capitulo, no por nada malo, solo que no la he tenido entre manos, esto hasta que un pana me presto el tomo 1 del manga el cual si bien no me pareció excepcional por lo menos me pareció que tiene potencial, la comedia, la acción y la trama, ¿pero que podemos deducir de un primer tomo? normalmente el tomo 1 en cualquier historia como los primeros capitulos sirven para presentar a los personajes y el entorno en el que viven…

Pues el primer capitulo del animé me pareció bastante bien, tomando en cuenta que en muchas escenas es distinto al manga, realmente me quedó con la versión que nos relantan en el manga, más allá de eso tenemos el doblaje el cual me pareció muy bueno, las voces parecian ir con los personajes (lo digo desde el punto de vista de alguien que no lo ha visto en japonés) la única que quizas no me cuadró mucho fue la de Ichigo, no lo sé me la imaginaba distinta, no estoy seguro si es la de ese personaje pero me la imagine (si no me equivoco) como la de Yusuke Urameshi (Yu Yu Hakusho) aunque seguramente no es la voz que creo… en general me gustó mucho el doblaje, ahora a ver que dirán aquellos que la vienen siguiendo en japonés…

Evangelion Renewal

Creo que no es de conocimiento de muchos pero, en efecto, Animax está transmitiendo esta versión la cual viene con escenas extras incluidas, y retoques tanto en animación, sonido y otros que no recuerdo… el doblaje es otro, se hizo en Mexico y las unicas voces que permanecieron fueron las de Shinji y Gendo Ikari, sin embargo estos actores de doblaje como que perdieron un poco ese algo que tenían en el anterior doblaje.

Shinji: a veces mucho más sumiso de lo normal, a veces un tanto sobreactuado y otras pocas ocasiones dió en el clavo, caso contrario con…

Gendo Ikari: que (a mi parecer) se mantuvo más cercano a su versión anterior con algunos altibajos

Misato Katsuragi: también me pareció un poco chillona al comienzo, pero luego me gustó bastante.

Ritsuko Akagi: También me pareció constante y que iba acorde con el personaje, sí noté una que otra intención que no me gustó del todo, pero bastante bien (aunque debo aclarar que su aparición casi no la vi ya que me ocupé con otros asuntos)

Fuyutsuki: Prefiero mil veces esa voz aspera como de alguien que las ha vivido mil y una, me parece que esta voz es un tanto jovial…

En cuanto a animación me parece que está en lugar de mejorar de cayó, no sé hubieron muchos planos que no me gustaron, como tomas a los personajes que los noté un tanto deformes, la música y el sonido muy bien pero…

Lo Malo

¿Por qué carajo la americanización?

Deoxxx tengan personalidad y sentido de lo real, estas series NO! son americanas, son japonesas, un idioma que en cuanto a pronunciación es bastante parecido al de nosotros con unas cuantas reglas que seguir acabalidad, entre ellas las “H” aspiradas como cuando decimos “HARRY”… Entonces, compañia de doblaje, porque carajo pronuncian “NION YENESIS IVANGUERIOUN” y no “Neon Genesis Evangelion” o “Evangelion, el nuevo Genesis” o alguna otra vaina… por deooxxxx mis oidos rechinaban de incomodidad cada vez que alguien decía “Unidad Eiva” que coño es un “Eiva”… puto doblaje gringorizado, lo mismo va con el canal que se empeña en dar el nombre americano a las series, digo, hay muchas series cuyo nombre es una adaptación japonesa de una palabra inglesa, totalmente válido, pero por qué carajo llaman a JIGOKU SHOJO, HELL GIRL (Lo siento, no la vi porque tenía una cita en F/X con los locos que ahora se quieren escapar de SONA)

Lo Feo:

Citaré o versionaré un mítico momento de Los Simpsons…

Si buscamos en un diccionario la palabra Feo, seguramente a su lado encontraremos una imagen referente a Reciclo o a el otro programa que estrena esta semana Animax, porqué me parece esto algo sucio y despreciable…

Amigos, Animax se supone que es un canal 100% Animé, por lo tanto su entera programación debe 100%  dedicada de una u otra forma a cosas que tengan que ver con el Animé, por lo tanto si decidimos abrir un espacio dedicado a la transmisión de peliculas, ¿Que es lo más logico?

¿O me equivoco?

Chevere, a mi me gusta bastante 5to Elemento, pero porqué carajo voy a pasar esta pelicula si se supone que en el canal donde muchos esperamos ver animé día y noche está dedicado “100%” a la animación japonesa???

Me disculpa si alguien que le pueda doler lee esto pero…..

CHAAAAAMOOOOOO NO SEAN BRUTOS, POR KAMI SAMA, ES EN SERIO

Cuando leo la info que me da Direct Tv sobre el otro programa a estrenar veo en la reseña que es de Videojuegos, chevere, por qué no? muchos otakus también le dan a los videojuegos, pero disculpen, lo que vi en comerciales no era cercana mentamente algo parecido a un programa de videojuegos, más lo describiría como una versión malamericanizada del juego de la oca (Solo lo digo por querer ser odioso)

Ahora pregunto… que tiene que ver esto con el Animé?

¿Es en realidad un programa de concursos que gira alrededor de trivias sobre el manga-animé?

Espero ser yo el equivocado…

Lo más feo????

Hace poco más de un año estuve viviendo en Mexico, y el sistema de televisión satelital, si no me equivoco es Sky, tiene dentro de sus canales Animax, es entonces cuando veo el canal por vez primera y entre serie y serie colocaban algún tipo de info referente a convenciones, info de bandas japonesas, videos musicales de bandas japonesas y demás cosas referentes de una u otra forma con Japón pero…

¿Ahora que hace Miranda, Fergie entre otros en este espacio?

Quiero saber una buena respuesta a esto…

Digo, si tienes un canal de televisión, dedicado exclusivamente a la Animación Japonesa, donde vemos constante referencia a la cultura japonesa, donde escuchamos bandas japonesas entre muchas otras cosas que puedan tener en algún lugar de la oración “Japo” con un “nesa” entonces vamos a mantenerlo así, porque aparentemente hay muchas personas que esto les agrada, hagamos el esfuerzo, si es que algún problema legal por la emisión de bandas, cantantes o info de las expos nos lo impide…

¿Que hacemos?

Tienen la iniciativa de crear un nuevo FAA (Fuerza Aliada del Animé) para los que no conocen este movimiento, bueno fue la campaña publicitaria con la que introdujeron Animax en Latinoamerica, así que ¿por qué no? vamos a Crear una nueva FAA y recuperemos el canal 100% Animé que a muchos gustaba y a otros no…

Mostrando el descontento en las diferentes Web, blogs, foros a través de Avatars, firmas, botones, banners y demás, otra forma más efectiva, (vuelvo y repito, Experiencia propia) Enviar mails con nuestra negativa a la pagina oficial en la parte inferior derecha donde se lee “Contacte con nosotros” y por supuesto, correr la voz para conseguir más seguidores

Hey everyone,

I’ve found two really awesome Evangelion AMVs. One uses a song that so many people seem to be obsessed with. It originally started off as Stevie Wonder’s Past Time Paradise and then Coolio did Gangster’s Paradise. Both are really awesome and then Weird Al made Amish Paradise. If that’s not enough there’s Gendo’s Paradise. It has lyrics to match the show.

The other AMV is with the song Engel by Rammstein. It has good syncing that makes it funny. Asuka has a guy’s voice and Shinji has a girl’s.
