Bought this generator without shopping around due to an emergency, but am very happy with my purchase. I didn’t want a diesel generator, because I don’t have anything else that runs on diesel, but this generator has changed my mind. The extended run time of a diesel generator over gasoline is reason enough to go with diesel. This thing runs for 12 hours on a 3 gallon tank of diesel! It is quite loud, but no more so than any other generator. I tried to run it in my detached garage, but the fumes quickly starved the generator for air and it died. This thing is a tank at 350 pounds, it is quite heavy. It runs both my sump pumps, fridge, lights, furnace, and television without a problem. My only complaint, and this is a small one, was that apparently they test them at the factory and then shipped them with diesel in the fuel line, which during shipping clogged the injectors, and initially it would not start. The dealer did replace the injector for free at purchase, and it runs great since then. I guess I would recommend monthly startups for maintenance to keep the injector clean, and it wouldn’t hurt to add some diesel fuel additive.

With Tim still cold turkey after giving up tea we had to find a healthy alternative. To make it worse, our workshop has no power which is a bit frustrating sometimes, especially when tea is needed. What a great generator for the price and free shipping to boot! Ordered late Sat. and and arrived Tuesday! You can’t go wrong with this GEMerator. I was going to purchase the Honda IU2000 and know a couple of people that have them and use w/their RV’s. Liked the fact that they are super quiet but did not like the fact that they would only run 4hrs on a tank of fuel and would not run AC. This generator covers both these negatives w/flying colors and 1/3rd the price! Not as quiet as the Honda but not at all too noisy either. Don’t get me wrong…the Honda is a great generator but it comes at a cost.

The ETQ 4000 was very easy to start (2nd pull) and purred like a kitten. Put her to the test right away and everything worked flawlessly. I will put it through its paces this coming week at deer camp and will update as to how it performs in the field. So far very happy w/this purchase! Don’t worry about the ney sayer’s on adding oil and pull cord being an issue. Was no issue at all if you have any kind of mechanical skills. Pulled from box, set-up on work bench and filled w/oil and a little gas, pushed over choke lever and gave a pull. Pulled one more easy pull and she came to life. Was concerned before purchase as to how loud it would be but was very pleased!

THE ORDERING PROCESS WAS A BIT CONFUSING DUE TO IMMEDIATE CHECKOUT WHICH AUTOMATICLY ADDED THE SHIPPING WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE. AFTER A FEW PHONE CALLS AND A PROMISE TO REMOVE THE FIRST ITEM AND BEING TOLD TO PLACE A NEW ORDER I NOW WAS GETTING TWO GENERATORS ONE WITH FREE SHIPPING AND THE SECOND ONE WITH SHIPPING. ANOTHER CALL WAS MADE AND AFTER A THREAT THAT THEY WOULD ONLY DO THIS ONE TIME THEY REMOVED THE SECOND GENERATOR WITH SHIPPING AND CREDITED MY CREDIT CARD. This item shipped quickly, was easy to assemble, started right up when I filled it with approx 15 oz. of 10w30 oil and unleaded gas. The engine runs smooth; I was surprised how relatively quiet it was and how easy it was to move around with the handle and wheeling capability. You will need to fabricate a ground line from the generator for safety purposes. It handled my 6 circuits from my transfer switch with no problem i.e. with clean even power. It’s important to note that using the 4 pin 30 amp connector outlet (L14 30 type) will allow the generator to balance the different loads. The other 20amp connector outlet does not, according to the generator schematic. In summary, Iam impressed…great value for the money!

So the blog has been down again for the last few days because I’ve been in London again, but anyway I’m back but here’s what I got up to.

So first day I arrived we went to the UCAS fair, and I got to chat to people from the London College of Fashion and Central St.Martins and I have decided I definitely want to go to one of those Unis!

Then it was back to the Generator Hostel in Russel Square, which wasn’t as bad as I thought it was, The drinks were cheap there so I was up late getting drunk!

Anyway Next day (Slightly hungover) we went to see the Pop Art Exhbit in the Tate. Photography was banned otherwise I would have some awesome pictures to show you. But anyone who can should check out Pop Life at the Tate Modern if they get the chance.

Then on the tube to Old Street to see a Banksy and do some shopping!

So we found this Banksy piece on the wall, and I had a picture with it. I had to fight with that bloody bush though, who the fuck puts a bush in front of a Banksy!? And I know I look a mess, It was windy and I was soo tired!

Anyway there are some good vintage shops around the area so we went to check them out, the first we came accross and probably my fave was Paper Dress.

It was cute inside, it was like I was in the 1950’s even the lady behind the counter was dressed like she was from the 50’s and the best part was most definitely the Vintage cash register!

After theere we headed up to find Beyond Retro. Apparently its where the likes of Kate Moss, Beth Ditto and Noel Fielding like to shop. I remain un-impressed, there was a few nice things in there but everything smelt of old people, it just wasn’t for me, but if you are into second hand shopping it is definitely one of the best places to visit.

Then it was off to Oxford street and probably my favorite shop ever…Digitaria!

The other side of the window display is currently by Gemma Slack but the photos didn’t take properly. I went in again but had no money to buy anything I just love to look at the clothes in there, and oggle at the Katie Eary shoes I craaavvee!! Unfortunatly there is no Gallery downstairs at the moment.

Anyways further Down oxford street I finally got to check out the Jimmy Choo for H&M, I only Had time to look at the menswear though because I was the only one in the group interested in seeing it. But here’s some blurry pics I managed to snap including a picture of the boots I almost bought but they didn’t have them in my size

Die Webseite www.kreuzifix.de gibt es ja schon seit längerem. Hier hat die Rätselschmiede R@sel4U einen Automaten programmiert, der auf Knopfdruck in wenigen Sekunden alle möglichen Kreuzworträtsel generiert. Eine tolle Sache, in deren Genuss die Rätselfans allerdings nicht gratis kommen.

In den letzten Monaten wurde der Kreuzworträtselautomat KREUZIFIX neu überarbeitet. Neben einigen Funktionsänderungen wurden auch die Begriffsdatenbanken vergrößert und die Preise drastisch gesenkt. Letzteres dürfte die Rätselfans ganz besonders freuen. Die Generierung eines Kreuzworträtsels kostet nun je nach Größe, Modus und Thema zwischen 7 und 40 Cent. Ausprobieren kann man den Automaten aber auch kostenlos. Beim Gast-Login kann man allerdings nur eine Handvoll Begriffe pro Rätsel eintragen, danach werden keine Tastatureingaben mehr angenommen.

Will man komplette Rätsel lösen, muss man sich zunächst mit Name und E-Mail registrieren und einige Rätsel-Taler – so heißt die interne Währung bei KREUZIFIX – käuflich erwerben. Dies geht mit PayPal oder Banküberweisung. Bei der Generierung seines Kreuzworträtsels kann der Benutzer zwischen verschiedenen Spielmodi (Training, Standard, Turnier), Größen (180 oder 400 Felder) und Themen (Film&TV, Sport, Musik, Geschichte&Politik, Erdkunde, Kunst&Literatur) auswählen. Natürlich sind aber auch normale Schwedenrätsel ohne ein Schwerpunktthema machbar und sogar Querdenkerrätsel lassen sich generieren! Dabei besteht beispielsweise ein Sporträtsel nicht gänzlich aus Sportfragen sondern lediglich zu 60-80 Prozent, was dem Spaß aber überhaupt keinen Abbruch tut.

Das Design der Kreuzworträtsel ist schicht-funktionell, wie man dies von den Java-Kreuzworträtseln von R@sel4U gewohnt ist. Im Trainings-Modus werden dem Rätselrater verschiedene Lösungshilfen zur Verfügung gestellt, im Turnier-Modus läuft dagegen eine Stoppuhr mit und bei schneller Lösung darf man sich in eine der Bestenlisten eintragen. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die Verknüpfung der Rätselbegriffe mit Wikipedia, Wörterbuch, Google, YouTube, Flickr und einigen weiteren Wissensdatenbanken. Wenn der Rater mehr über einen gesuchten Begriff wissen möchte, reicht ein einziger Klick auf einen der entsprechenden Links, um an die gewünschten Infos zu gelangen. Meines Wissens eine bisher einzigartige Funktion bei Online-Kreuzworträtseln, aber der ganze Automat an sich ist ja ebenfalls bisher der erste und einzigste seiner Art.

Fazit: Wenn man sich nicht an dem schlichten Design stört und man auch bereit ist, ein paar Cents für Online-Kreuzworträtsel auszugeben, wird man mit unbegrenztem Rätselspaß belohnt, der anderswo im Netz in dieser Art und Weise nicht zu finden ist. Dies gilt natürlich vor allem für Leute, die gerne über ein bestimmtes Thema wie Sport oder Filme rätseln möchten. Fortgeschrittene Rater, die es lieben, um die Ecke zu denken, werden ganz besonders ihren Spaß an KREUZIFIX haben.

Written on November 1, 2009.  The next few posts were written while I was in Nigeria.

Imagine, if you will, going home from a long day at the office only to find that your electricity is cut off.  You have been having this problem for days and the electric company is saying that they are working on the problem.  Imagine just as you are going to bed the electricity comes on.  Thinking that the problem is fixed you jump in the shower only to have it go off again.  Standing in the shower all soaped up you begin to think about sitting on a beach in the Caribbean because it must be better than here.

That is how most of the missionaries live in Jos, Nigeria.  They don’t have consistent power and there is nothing they can do about it.  Their only recourse is to go buy a generator to give their house some electricity.  But the gas to power the gen (as they call it; my theory is if you have a nickname for something you are probably pretty familiar with it) costs money.  In fact, Nigeria is known as the gen capital of the world.  That is how much they rely on gens in Jos.

I was out at a mission hospital in Jos the other day and the doctor there said that the hospital would be making a profit if it weren’t for the gas expenditure on the gens.  The missionaries and Nigerians have adjusted to the lack of consistent power, but can you imagine the frustration and stress this adds to their life.  I’m frustrated with it and I’ve only been here a few days.

1. Hasilkan kode sebagai bagian dari proses eksekusi code generator.
2. Jaga kode yang dihasilkan terpisah dari kode sumber yang lain.

Perfect Traffic Storm is a new site that says it guarantees more web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost.  More importantly, it promises higher CONVERSIONS–signups and sales.  So I decided to put it to the test…

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel.  It is easy to read and understand.  Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes.  Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Perfect Traffic Storm” links.  You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Perfect Traffic Storm Ad Generator, which is very easy to use.  You can create as many links and as many ads as you like.  And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference.  Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login.  Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic.  Just use and promote the new Perfect Traffic Storm link instead of the original source link you had.  Every time the Perfect Traffic Storm link is clicked, the page loads followed by a small ad window in the lower right corner.  It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Perfect Traffic Storm.  So if anyone clicks the Perfect Traffic Storm image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral.  It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Perfect Traffic Storm links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked.  So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Perfect Traffic Storm (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Perfect Traffic Storm image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks.  And this works up to 5 levels deep.  So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Perfect Traffic Storm also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed.  Perfect Traffic Storm even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays.  That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing.  You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Perfect Traffic Storm really shines.  They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline.  But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again.  Now THAT’s cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Perfect Traffic Storm.  It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises.  Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.
