I’m such a romantic. I’m so in love with fashion.

Police identified the man as 35-year-old Frank McCorkle, of West Deer.

Maier, who was a wrestler from his days in high school and at Penn State, was able to put McCorkle in a head lock on the living room couch and hold him down until police arrived and tased him.

Anita Maier did her part, too, hitting McCorkle in the head with a bronze statue and poking her finger in his eye.

McCorkle is in the Allegheny County Jail facing eight separate charges, including burglary, aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

“I was trying to save my life, so I was really not playing around,” Maier told KDKA-TV.

His biggest disappointment?

“I was really disappointed as I didn’t get to see the Steeler game – especially the way it ended,” he said.

Maier said neither he nor his wife had ever seen McCorkle before.

Hampton police said there was a strong odor of alcohol on McCorkle’s breath when they showed up at Maier’s house to answer a 9-1-1 call about a burglary in progress.

The jacket, the scarf, the shoes, the jeans, the cardigan…you’ve seen it all before.  The only things in this ensemb that aren’t repeats are the gorgeous silk Zara top that I ended up covering up the entire day because it was so cold (behold its dramatic sleeves), and the earrings which I made out of bracelets and hooks from another pair of earrings.  They aren’t a matching set and I don’t care.  That H&M scarf is one of my favorites.  It’s just one of a collection of scarves I’ve been building.  I love beautiful scarves and I almost always have one with me.  Whenever I’m traveling in a foreign country I make it my business to get a scarf.  It’s cheaper than jewelry and you get way more bang for your buck.

Side Note: George you got the lighting so right on these shots.  The sun is beautiful.  These pics could have been so drab with the dark colors but you managed to capture the light perfectly.

This is me trying to hold onto the last days of the summer.  Short shorts and a tee are the summer uniform.  George and I decided to get really silly and creative and just have fun with the photos.
