Saya menyebutnya ghost rider. Istilah yang saya pakai untuk menyebut pimpinan yang tak nampak identitasnya. Meski begitu, dia, sedikit banyak memberikan petunjuk kemana arah yang sebaiknya dituju. Bagi saya, pemimpin hantu ini, bergerak berdasarkan pengalaman.

Contoh sederhana, seperti yang sering saya alami ketika riding lewat tengah malam. Jalanan tentu sudah sepi. Dalam kondisi inilah saya membutuhkan ghost leader: sosok rider, yang tidak saya kenal, namun mampu berperan layaknya road captain.

Dengan berada di belakangnya, saya merasa “aman” merambah jalanan. Karena, berdasar intuisi saya, pemimpin hantu itu, memiliki pengalaman riding yang saya butuhkan. Intinya saya perlu  “racing line” dia. Nggak capek bikin jalur sendiri.

Lalu bagaimana sih memilih ghost leader itu? Tidak ada acuan baku yang dapat saya jelaskan. Semuanya murni berdasar insting di jalan. Hanya saja, sosoknya dapat dikenali dari cara dia berkendara dan riding gear yang dikenakan. Selebihnya, untuk “memilih” ghost rider, terserah naluri brother masing-masing.

In connection with the WTC disaster there are conspiracy theories that have been suggested. Like the plane did not fit the scale of the building. A terrorist passport was found in good order, while the rest was destroyed. The building simply couldn’t have fallen down thanks to the crash, despite all of the kerosine. And so on and so on.

the real conspiracy that’s out there is the one by devil himself who with his divide and conquer tactics sets up folk against one another. Communists against capitalists, Muslims against Westerners, coloured against white and such like. And in this way he succeeds in polarizing us and occupying our hearts with negative feelings and thoughts.

Curiosity killed the pussy. We christians needn’t know the depths of satan. We all know that satan is called the god of this age in the bible and the world lies in the malevolent one. We need not know how God, Who is infinitely greater than satan, rules thru him in this regard and of course also directly in our hearts and thru the unfallen angels. We need to gather treasures in heaven and serve, respect and worship our Lord as the ultimate treasure of our hearts and we need to love our fellowmen as ourselves. This type of super occult data would only confuse us and distract us, if not worse.

bercerita tentang sepasang kekasih yang tinggal di suatu rumah dan sering diganggu oleh makhluk gaib! si pria pun (micah) akhirnya kesal dan ingin melakukan penelitian dengan merekam kejadian yang ada di kamar mereka ketika tidur, apa yang sebenarnya mengganggu kekasihnya (katie), tapi kenyataan di kamera nampaknya lebih mengerikan dari apa yang mereka rasakan.

Travel Channel series spotlights Bridgeport

Since it debuted in October of 2008, the Travel Channel series “Ghost Adventures” has taken viewers to roughly two dozen creepy locales. And Remington Arms in Bridgeport is definitely one of the eerier places they’ve visited, series executive producer Daniel Schwartz said. “This one is right at the top,” Schwartz said of the former factory on Barnum Avenue. “It definitely earned its keep in the pantheon of ‘Do not put me in that place.’ “In June, “Ghost Adventures,” which puts a team of paranormal investigators at a different spooky spot each episode, taped an installment at Remington. The episode airs at 9 p.m. Friday, and, though Schwartz refrains from ranking the episodes, he said Remington was definitely intimidating. That’s saying something. “Ghost Adventures” has visited places as varied as the Poveglia Island in Venice, Italy, and Ohio Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. At each place, paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin are “locked down” for a night and roam the premises, looking for evidence of the unknown. Though they all have different stories, the locations visited by the “Ghost” team have one thing in common: stories about spooky, unexplained activity.Remington Arms definitely fit the bill. Once one of the largest ammunition factories in the world, the Barnum Avenue site was no stranger to tragedies. These include a 1942 explosion that killed seven people and injured 80 others. The buildings at the site have been closed for years, and they have become a popular hangout for the area’s homeless, said James Myers, a Bridgeport police officer and paranormal investigator. It’s also been a hot spot for reports of odd activities, such as moving shadows and disembodied voices. Schwartz said the stories of the unexplained, combined with the site’s tragic history, made Remington a perfect “Ghost Adventures” locale. ”It kind of has the stench of an unhappy place,” he said. During the hourlong episode, Bagans and company interview local historical and paranormal experts, including Myers. They then spend the night at Remington, with some unsettling results. We won’t spoil it here, but suffice it to say that there are plenty of things going bump in the night at Remington. Myers, who investigates the unknown under the name 826 Paranormal, said it’s unclear whether the strange happenings at Remington are the result of ghostly visits or human intruders. Just in case you missed my last post about it, here it is.

So, it happened again last night. At around 4 o’clock, I saw it again hovering over my entertainment center again; however, this time it actually picked up my home theater receiver about 12 inches off my entertainment center. It happened so quick that I, again, thought there was actually a burglar in my room. I actually screamed out at the top of my lungs, “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!” I really don’t know what I was thinking. If it really was a thief, I probably would have scared him to death. A voice screaming out of a dark room at him. He probably would have shot me. Well, it wasn’t a thief — well, one that was still alive any way. Just like before, the god damn thing split in half, and shot out into a mist and disappeared. Except this time, it dropped my receiver onto my entertainment center, with a large thud. Needless to say, I ran downstairs panicked — to check to make sure someone didn’t just run out of my room. Of coarse there was no one there.

I KNOW this sounds crazy. HELL, it is crazy. Is there really a ghost in my room? Is it possible I was have a waking dream or some other reason explanation. Sure, I freely admit that is entirely possible. I do indeed sleep walk and also talk in my sleep (what a catch, huh ladies) — well, both of these time, this thing just seemed absolutely real. Oh yeah, and when I ran to my entertainment center, the receiver was crooked. So maybe the more important question is, why does this shadow lady want my stereo equipment. I’ll be sure to ask her the next time I see her.

The way the Glass House worked, on a practical level, was that there was a schedule for the stuff that had to be done. Cooking, cleaning, fixing things, laundry. Technically, they were all on every housemate’s list. In practice, though, what happened was this: the boys (Michael and Shane) bribed the girls (Eve and Claire) to do laundry, and the girls bribed the boys to fix things. 

The basement of the Glass House was big, dark and creepy, which wasn’t really such a surprise. Most basements were, and this was Morganville. Morganville went in for dark and creepy the way Las Vegas went in for neon. Apart from the one area Claire was in, with a battered washer and dryer, a table that had once been painted some kind of industrial green, and some shelves filled with unidentifiable junk, the rest of the basement was dim and quiet. 

She had the music cranked up so high that she failed to hear steps coming down the stairs. In fact, she had no clue she wasn’t completely alone until she felt a hand touch her shoulder, and hot breath against her neck.

Ok, this is tangential, but I was watching the soap Doctors today, and it featured one of the doctors or their staff in one of those side stories which take up an entire episode. Something about a funeral and a stricken family struggling to come to terms not only with the death of their relative but with the fact that he was a complete and utter bastard.

What interested me was not so much the plot (mildly entertaining) or the medical content (ok there was none) but the use of the ghost of the dead man (a la Patrick Swayze in Ghost) as a narrative presence in the film.

Yes, I know, it’s unlikely that the medical zeitgeist is changing and cracks are appearing in the facade of our empiricism. It’s much more likely that this was just a ridiculous story line cooked up in desperation at the fag end of a long brainstorming session. Just thought I’d mention it.

A French couple touring the Highlands claim to have photographed a ghost on the former site of a hanging tree.

United Kingdom – The couple claim the spooky figure appears in a photograph they took in the High Street in Fort William, in the West Highlands.

The site – the location of the Old Fort’s hanging tree – is said to have been known for ghostly appearances since the tree was chopped down in the 1970s.

Sophie Mager, 32, and Remy Puckey, 40, from Jaux, just north of Paris, did not see the apparition in front of them but were baffled when it appeared in Sophie’s picture.

They were spooked further when locals explained the spot was the site of the hanging tree, and there had been previous unexplained goings-on there.

The night-time image shows the bright lights of the houses in the town. In front, just before the camera lens, there is a white mist or smoke-like veil blocking the view.

But the couple insist the sky was clear at the time and they have not altered their image in any way.

Ms Mager said: “It was amazing and I swear that it is not a picture with special effects.

“We didn’t see the ghost on the spot, but discovered it when we looked on the picture. Many strange things are happening in Fort William.”

Mr Puckey, who had looked forward to the five-day visit to Scotland because of his late grandfather from Aberdeen, said: “We showed it to the staff of the West End Hotel in Fort William, where we were staying. They too found the apparition intriguing – but scary.”

The hanging tree had been utilized in the 18th century by successive governors of the fort for the execution of Highland clansmen who fell foul of their regime.

The tree, which had stood outside the fort walls for 300 years, was felled in the 1970s to make way for the town’s new library and for an outdoor equipment store.

When it was cut down, local people claimed that its demise would bring with it the Gaelic witchcraft prophecy of the “Buidseachd” – pronounced “Bootchach” – a curse of ill omen.

On the morning after Fort William Library was opened alongside where the hanging tree had stood, staff claimed they came in to find the front door ajar, despite having locked it the previous night.

They claimed books, paintings and pot plants were strewn over the floor, empty toilets were flushing, and there were the sounds of canine snuffling noises, although there was no dog on the premises.

Meanwhile, an electric typewriter was working on its own but printing characters upside down. Staff were so frightened by this scene that they fled the building.

It’s probably nothing, but it scared the shit out of me. I stayed at my friend’s sister’s house on Sunday. Sarah’s housemate thought it would be fun to scare me.

At the bottom of the road where Sarah’s house is, there’s another road that runs across it. Alongside it is a cemetery. One night, one of Sarah’s friends, Andy was walking along there. Two kids, one younger than the other, approached him. They were dressed in bright hoodies. Instead of feeling apprehensive, Andy felt totally at ease. The two kids stopped him and told him they were lost and asked if he would be able to help them find their way. Andy agreed, but told them he’d only be able to take them so far.

I’ve been told, that if you look on google, this happens all over the world; two children, one older than the other, both in bright clothing. They always ask permission before they walk with or enter the homes of who they meet. It is always the same, you never notice their eyes until they have gotten away.

We drove along that road, that evening and saw nothing, but I think I can safely say, I have a new found fear of people in reflective jackets.

Ghost Whisperer – one of my favorite TV series!  In the said TV series, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) can see and talk to ghosts.  She helps these “Earthbound” spirits crossover to the Light by helping them with their unfinished business. These unfinished business can vary from passing messages to their loved ones, making them realize that they have already passed away, making sure that their loved ones are safe, and even releasing them from attaching themselves to things like concert tickets, heirloom, etc.

At first, these earthbound spirits will appear scary because they would look like the same way they did when they died. They would even come through Melinda by dreaming about them or they would give her visions and would let her feel the same thing that happened to them.  The visions usually creeps Melinda out.

Helping ghosts crossover is a very daunting task and Melinda will need any help she can on both worlds — the living and the dead.  She is surrounded by these lovely people:  Jim Clancy/Sam Lucas (David Conrad), Andrea Marino (Aisha Tyler), Delia Banks (Camryn Manheim), Ned Banks (Tyler Patrick Jones / Christoph Sanders), Prof. Rick Payne (Jay Mohr),  Eli James (Jamie Kennedy), and Aiden Lucas (Connor Gibbs).  Their undying devotion to Melinda’s cause are unquestionable, except for Stubborn Delia.  Although Delia loves Melinda as she was her own sister, she just could not understand why Melinda always talks to herself and blanks out in the middle of a conversation.  She always has to have rational explanations on everything.  But this doubt would soon wane after Sam Lucas made her realize that Melinda really talks to ghosts and Sam is one of them! 

The character that I like the most, except for Melinda of course, would be Jim Clancy/ Sam Lucas. You might be wondering why her husband, yes he is her husband, have two names. With her much devoted love for Melinda, he couldn’t just leave Melinda all by herself when he died in Season 4 and decided to enter a man’s dead body(Sam Lucas) just to be with her. For more detailed and breath-taking story, you might want to check out Season 4. I cried when Melinda realized that Jim passed away. I felt what Melinda felt at that time (great job Jennifer!) when her world was crushed!

There’s an added character for Season 5 — Aiden Lucas, son of Melinda and Jim.  I’m pretty sure this boy would create another twist in the story for the Season 5 of Ghost Whisperer (I haven’t seen it yet).  I can’t wait to watch the episodes of this much awaited season!

This TV Series is unlike any other series where the main characters always wins and don’t die– even Melinda died in Season 2!  Here, you will see how Melinda’s loved ones are being taken away from her grasp and into the other side.  This will give you this much anticipation and nervousness while watching because you wouldn’t know who will die next. 

Now you know why i’m so hooked!

Wow. Great movie, just for the simple fact that someone was capable of making a film without stupid things jumping out at you like those youtube shockers and things of that nature (we’ve all encountered the maze or color test I’m sure)

This has by far been one of the best paranormal movies I think I have ever seen. It’s no wonder this $25,000.00 budget movie made uber millions! This movie takes you through a view of the other side, which if you’ve never experienced a paranormal event, it gives you a pretty good idea of what types of things you could expect. Footsteps, scratching, knocking,  inhuman breathing through EVP (electronic voice phenomenon). I have heard of people being disappointed in this movie and that is probably due to the fact that they’re so used to having something leap out at you with some wacky film effects and lots of LFE going on.

Paranormal Activity gets a 5/5 in my movie rating book for thrills and suspense. This movie exemplifies how a paranormal thriller should be! Honestly, I did not even want to look at my monitor in full screen because I was completely suspecting some wild looking demonic figure to just pop out in front of the camera to make me have to put on my Depends =P.

The boyfriend however was a serious douche who just made everything worse, to all you kids out there interested in playing with a Ouija board or spirit board, DON’T DO IT! Take it from someone who has had numerous paranormal events in his life and has certain abilities. Pissing off an inhuman is definitely something you do not want to do….The ending was a disappointment to a point, I wish they wouldn’t have shot Katie at the end, I know that’s kinda the point, but still, could have made it longer and shown the after effects and stuff, ah well, I just know what I would’ve liked to have seen ending-wise.

Dzisiaj podejdziemy do tematu robienia kopii bezpieczeństwa stacji roboczych (choć metoda ta także ma zastosowanie co do serwerów). To co będziemy potrzebowali to pendrive (ok 512mb wystarczy) lub plyta cd, paczkę z projektu Clonezilla, trochę cierpliwości.
Po przejściu tego poradnika będziesz miał działający system typu live na USB oraz będziesz wiedział jak wykonać zrzut obrazu systemu operacyjnego (całego dysku lub pojedyńczych partycji).
Zaczynamy.

W tym poradniku zajmiemy się Clonezillą zainstalowaną na przenośnej pamięci USB, popularnym pendrive. Jeśli ciśnie wam się pytanie dlaczego na USB to moja odpowiedź jest taka, że ceny pamięci o pojemnościach ok 1GB są dość niskie, niezawodność o wiele większa niż płyt CD, uruchamianie trwa zwykle szybciej niż to jest w przypadku płyt CD, no i w końcu będzie można wykonać kopię bezpieczeństwa systemu, gdzie nie ma zainstalowanego CD/DVD (lub napęd jest zepsuty).

Pobieranie potrzebnego oprogramowania

Udajemy się na stronę, skąd pobieramy plik ZIP z wersją stabilną.

Ze strony projektu LUSBH pobieramy ostatnia wersję tegoż programu, po ściągnięciu instalujemy go.
Może się zdarzyć tak, że będzie nam brakowało pewnego komponentu, podczas uruchamiania LUSBH powie nam o tym, oraz zaproponuje link. Należy komponent ściągnąć oraz zainstalować.
Jeśli LUSBH skarżyć się będzie na brak biblioteki vb6stkit.dll, to ściągnąć możecie ją tutaj. Bibliotekę należy przenieść do katalogu c:\windows\system (zakładam, że system jest zainstalowany na C – u mnie jest na E ).

Na końcu ściągamy ten plik i instalujemy go w naszym systemie.

Instalujemy system

Najpierw formatujemy nasz pendrive za pomocą programu HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool na system FAT, a nastepnie rozpakowujemy archiwum ZIP Clonezilli bezpośrednio na naszym USB.

Formatujemy pendrive na system FAT, rozpakowujemy archiwum zip bezpośrednio na nasz pendrive oraz udajemy się do katalogu utils\win32 i uruchamiamy skrypt MakeBoot.bat, pojawi się okno, jeśli jesteśmy pewni że chcemy zrobić nasz pendrive bootowalny naciskamy enter, pojawi się informacja że pewien plik został skopiowany i żeby nacisnąć ponownie enter, okno się zamknie.
I to wszystko.

Używanie systemu Clonezilla

W BIOSie ustawiamy start komputera z dysku USB (przed wejściem do BIOSu musimy włożyć pendrive do portu USB) i restartujemy komputer. Wyświetli nam się ekran powitalny, na którym ja wybieram opcję : Clonezilla Live ( To RAM. Boot media can be remove later )

Opcja ta zezwoli nam na wyjęcie pendrive z clonezilla po uruchomieniu się systemu, dzieki czemu będziemy mogli użyć tego pendrive w innym komputerze (ale o tym za chwilę). Po wybraniu tej opcji czekamy chwilę na załadowanie systemu,
pojawi się okno “Which language do you prefer” wybieramy English,
pojawi się okno “Configuring console-data” wybieramy “Don’t touch keymap”,
pojawi sie okno “Start clonezilla” z opcjami device-image oraz device-device.
Device-image polega na pracy z obrazami dysków lub partycji.
Device-device polega na bezpośredniej pracy na dyskach np. klonowanie.
Do zrzucania obrazów systemu wybieramy Device-image.
pojawi się okno “Mount clonezilla image directory”, gdzie m.in mamy do wyboru local-dev i samba-server.
Local-dev, to jest zapisywanie na dysku lokalnym np. drugim dysku podpiętym do komputera (może być USB),
Samba-server jak sama nazwa wskazuje umożliwia zamontowanie zasobu sieciowego z obrazami.
