On savait que le comédien porno Ron Jérémy mondialement célèbre avait joué dans des Disney…  mais dans Ghostbuster, là, fallait aller le trouver… en même temps il a joué dans 1750 films (record absolu pour un acteur porno : il figure dans le guiness book)… ce qui laisse penser qu’il y a des classiques dans le lot…

I trapped my final ghost yesterday, and I gotta say, bustin’ makes me feel good.

In the interest of full disclosure, I must first tell you that I played Ghostbusters on the “casual” difficulty setting, and if you play it, I highly recommend that you do the same. As we talked about on the podcast this week, Ghostbusters isn’t a game that you would want to be challenged by. There’s no satisfaction in it. Face it, you didn’t watch the movies so you could get a deep, though provoking insight into the world of apparition catching, you watched it so you could sit back, chuckle, and have a good time, so why would you expect anything different from the game? By playing it on casual, you get to experience it in the way that it was meant to be experienced.

As far as the game itself, it’s a lot of fun. You get to revisit some of the famous sights and scenes from the movies, which makes the game instantly familiar and engaging. Visually it impresses, and I even played it on the PS3, and we are all well aware of the graphical issues that go along with that. The cut scenes (as they should) look amazing, and it has some of the best normal-looking faces I’ve ever seen. In fact, one of my favorite aspects of the game was the look of your character, who is at best an average Joe, which gives it the real-world feeling that movies created so well.

Now, it’s not perfect. There are some clipping issues, blocky controls, and inconsistencies in sound, especially dialogue which made me begrudgingly turn on subtitles. The obligatory that have been shoved into the levels get really annoying after awhile (“awhile” being the shortest possible measurement of time after the first one shows up), and all the Proton Pack power ups other than your basic positron collider, are all but useless after they are introduced.

These minor negativities do very little to detract from the fact that the game is a lot of fun, especially you are a fan of the original ‘Busters. Do yourself a favor, and give this game a playthrough, but at the same time do yourself another favor, and don’t pay $60 for it.

Hola, que tal apreciados amigos de la chaira, un cordial saludo en estos dias de relax y respiro del ajetreo diario llamado fines de semana, para romper el hielo en estos post de sabos y domingos (jaja enferntemoslo nos da muuucha flojera hacer un post en dias de hue…. jaja) les traigo dos noticias breves del mundo de los videojuegos.

La primera es que han sido develados los trajes de los ghostbusters para little big planet  los cuales podemos ver a continuacion.

Estos nuevos trajes los podremos encontrar a un precio de $5.99 dolares todos en un mismo  poquete, o a $1.99 por separado. Aun se desconoce si se añadiran un nuevo nivel al juego, pero se habla mucho de que esta pueda ser una posibilidad como paso con Metal gear, ya que la nueva actualizacion (la 1.16) pesara alrededor de los 80 mb.

Y la segunda noticia que les traigo, es que la pagina de internet de gametrailers, ha conseguido una exclusiva mundial al obtener uno de los cinematic, del proximo y muy esperado Uncharted 2: among thieves creado por la compañia Naughty dog, asi que respetando los deseos de  gametrailers (naa la verdad esque al parecer la unica forma de acceder al trailer es entrando en la pagina) les dejo el enlace a este video. Sony has finally revealed the answer to its LittleBigPlanet-related teaser question, “Who ya gonna call?” It turns out that it was the Ghostbusters. You are gonna call the Ghostbusters.

The PlayStation Blog revealed a poster of a Sackboy wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt, which makes the LBP avatar resemble the ghost character from the Ghostbusters logo. While it doesn’t answer all the questions we have (is this a downloadable costume? Is it free? Will there be Ghostbusters-related levels? Is the “no” symbol part of the costume?) the latest update on LittleBigPlanet suggests that some Ghostbusters-related content is on the way. We think.

There have been in the history of cinema a few movies that have been made that should not have seen the light of a projector lightbulb. One great example of this is Hostel 2. First off the first movie was terrible due to the lack of story line. I am afraid for the new Ghostbuster movie, This has the making of a good movie but at the same time, they are going against the odds to bring it back. For instance, Indiana Jones and kingdom of the Empty Skull. What were they thinking… really… if you have yet to see the movie, don’t.. They tie it together with aliens, yea i dont care if i ruined it for you.  I did you favor so you didnt waste 2hours and 2 min of your life that you would most definitly like to use to stab yourself with a spork than watch this movie. Yaa… i went there… Point being.. it sucked… ya… it is a real hit or miss on most sequels. hey i dont care if production companies want to waste their time and money to make crappy movies… sometimes they are fun to watch just to see how bad they really are. Boom!
