I actually haven’t done Seitokai no Ichizon yet for my Rainmeter skin, so I think I’ll start with Kurimu Sakurano, the president of the student council, since I got this cute pic of her. Monday’s very lazy and I’m not in the mood to go to work. Furthermore, I got another project to develop an invoice and accounting application in PHP. This is actually a Lilium request for a To Aru Kagaku Railgun Rainmeter skin. The character here is Misaka Mikoto which I find her in the series is tsundereically charming (Haha, what am I saying?). A little bit disappointed though, by this second season, but the fan service and the comedy is quite refreshing. How did I do?

Hello darlings. Fall semester is finally coming to a fucking end and I could not be any happier. I have been miserably trying (with no success it seems) to get decent grades in my psychology courses. It does not help that I have the SAME teacher in my two psych classes. It does not help psychology is my goddamn major and I suck at it. But, it is okay. I will survive and kill myself studying for finals so that I get at least B’s in them. Wish me luck because I swear of God I need to step my game up. This just farther confirms that I am a complete dumbfuck… I have been trying so damn hard this semester and it just doesn’t seem to pay off. Then again, other people in my classes are struggling too. It has gone to the point of people complaining to the university about my teacher exams of doom (the format is wack).

At any rate, I finally signed up for the classes I am going to take spring semester. I don’t want to get ahead of myself because it seems every time I am happy about something shit goes wrong. But, I have a good feeling about next semester. I am not taking as many hours and I have a class with one of my good friends. Plus, one of the psych courses I am going to take it’s with the teacher I have mentioned in previous posts. The SEXY, SUBLIME, UTTERLY DIVINE who’s only downfall is that he is also extremely neurotic. Yes, I know.I am a masochist but I really want to take that course, his exams are not that bad and the hot factor is just a major plus. God, he is hot… Am I weird for liking older men? I mean, I see a pattern here. Oh well, it’s not like I get any lovin’. Mama needs to lust after something.

This Thursday I went dancing and Thursday to a party.It was alright. The nightclub was packed and I got asked to dance by a bunch of weirdos and fatties. Just my cup of tea! Friday, I didn’t stay that long at the party but I made some videos that I shall post on here. Every time I face any situation that involves those kinds of settings and interactions I feel like such an outsider. As if I just  don’t belong and people can sense how utterly flaw I am. It may be I am just paranoiac or  SAD kicking in…

Before I forget mentioning it, I saw CVS boy after not seeing him since June. Needless to say it was weird as fuck. Just as I was coming into the store with my mom (yikes) we said hi to each other and he got extremely excited. He opened his arms and said my name and I just smiled at him and kept walking. WTF? Yeah, because I totally am going to walk to the counter and give you a hug. Hell naww! I don’t like people touching me and we are not buddies. Don’t get me wrong, I am not bitter but I hate hypocrites. Don’t pretend you know me and we are friends because bitch we ain’t. I am such a gangsta. Right.

Sometimes I feel like I am slowly wasting my youth being a hermit but then I remind myself that although I suck at school (and have to work really hard towards getting decent grades)hey, I am doing something with my life. And it’s not like I have ever failed a course or anything… I wish I found something that came to me naturally without so much fucking effort.  I am on a constant endurance race. If at least one area in my life went okay I would be the happiest girl in the world. I must accept  after 20 years that it simply doesn’t. No-I don’t attract decent, smart guys. No-I don’t get straight A’s in all of my courses. No-most people don’t like me and I don’t have many friends. Expectations and not being able to get rid of them is what fucks everything up.

A year or two ago a young couple lost their two-month-old son. They had him in bed with them and one of them must have rolled over on him in the night because when they woke up in the morning their beautiful baby boy was dead. A pastor friend of mine and I went over to their house that night. You talk about heartache! The boy’s daddy, a young fella, kept wallowing in the floor saying “God is judging me – God is judging me!” The pastor was trying to show them some scriptures when the mother blurted out: “I just don’t see how there can be a God.”And before you criticize her, you just wait till you wake up beside your dead baby.

I  said “Ma’am my heart goes out to you – I won’t try to say I know what you’re going through because I don’t. But I was reading a story this afternoon about a lady who had lost her baby boy too. She went to her pastor and said “Where was God when my boy died?”

He was stunned by the question like we all would be but he thought for a moment and said “Ma’am, God was in the same place He was when His Son died 2000 years ago.” And I’m telling you there’s a God in heaven that knows what it’s like to lose a baby boy. He knows what it’s like to lose a loved one and He can sympathize with your pain.

On top of that, I believe the grace of God takes care of little children and that baby’s in Heaven right now. And if mama and daddy are Christians – they might have to spend 40, 50, or even 60 years apart from their child and I know that sounds like such a long time. But looking back, 10,000 years from now, it won’t seem like that long at all.

This amazing handmade posies scarf is something I’ve been meaning to pick up from the Shanalogic shop for about a year, so now that I’ve scored it I must brag! LOL Cannot wait to show it off in person, I’ll have to update y’all on it. Incidentally this was one of those times where you buy a holiday present and then it’s all, “Well, I might as well pick something up for myself,” and then what you get yourself is way more expensive than the gift you bought originally … sigh … I should probably be embarrassed, lol!

Second in my series of people photography!!  Now, I know I said that the Mexico series was done with, but, surprise!  More Puerto Morelos pics!  Were these strategically saved for this series or did I just forget to put them with the other series?  You’ll never know.  Anyhoo, its fun to photograph kids doing their kid-ly things.  They always seem so completely absorbed in what they are doing and bring such a fun, carefree-because-they-don’t-have-bills-to-pay  feeling to the photo.  I find that looking at pictures like this always makes me remember how much I liked to do (blank) when I was (blank) years old, long before medical school sort of owned my soul.   

So, this boy and girl were playing in the sand on the shore by the Puerto Morelos pier in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.  They are in front of the original lighthouse that was transformed into the Leaning Lighthouse of Puerto by Hurricane Wilma.  Since it’s more or less non-functional now, there is a new lighthouse a bit further back from the shore.  It is much taller and, personally, if I were a sailor, I’d be glad Wilma killed the old short lighthouse so that I could guide myself home with the more modern upgraded model.

The photo was taken with the Canon Powershot G7.  I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 to adjust the contrast a bit and to bring out the slightly sepia tones in the picture to help create a more nostalgic feel and to highlight the angle of the sun.

Hello all! I hope everyone’s Sunday is going well. I know today is a day of rest for most, but in my world weekends are great opportunities to train. Our weekdays run together so that even the days we are fortunate enough for time to train, the workouts can still be in ineffective. This is why I love weekend workouts; time to train. Not so rushed, more enjoyable because they are more energized; just an added bonus to the weekend.

That said, here are my thoughts for my own training on this beautiful Sunday afternoon:
Since I had the turkey run 5k yesterday, my legs, back, and obliques as still pretty smoked, so today my focus is going to be upper body bound. Shoulders, biceps, and triceps, with and some ab work thrown in for good measure. I’m going to hit the dumbbells and lift them every way imaginable to really get a good arm and ahoulser pump. I’m going to keep the reps low and the weight at the top end of my lifting strength. By tomorrow, I will be ready to hit legs and glutes, but not today!
