today was a great day at church. even though my friend trent was not here, God was able to move and He used keisha and michael to do a great job.

But let me rewind to 8:15 this morning. My family and I were ready to go to church, as I was trying to get the girls in the car, my sister comes to me and tells me that there is a guy lying on the road sleeping… naturally, my curiosity got to me and i hurried outside to see what was happening. What i saw was something that never happens in my neighborhood… I saw a lady trying to help a drunken person get up from the floor. I hesitated, but i decided that i wanted to act according to God’s word and I rushed to help the man… i prayed for him right there (nothing fancy). To make a long story short, we got late to church today, but it was worth it. Every minute of it.

What is the life lesson of this story though? to seize God given opportunities. ask God, each day, to let you meet new people that you can be a help to. there was a tremendous amount of gratitude and satisfaction that I was able to help someone’s life today, even if it means that you have to go out of your way to help someone’s life. God has called us to be salt and light to this world. Go ahead and transform someone’s life today.
