Meiner Meinung nach wird die Fitwear Kollektion nahtlos an den Erfolg der Fitflop Sommermodelle anschließen können. Dank dem ausgefallenen Designs und der versprochenen und eben auch sinnvoll erklärten Funktionalität der Schuhe, wird genau die Zielgruppe angesprochen.

Zur Zielgruppe zähle ich einmal via Eigeninterpretation des Produktes Karrierefrauen, die leider keine Zeit für tägliche Trainingseinheiten haben, aber dennoch viel Wert auf Mode und Äußerliches legen. Hier ist der Fitwear Winterschuh natürlich genau das Richtige! Während die Fitflops teilweise auch von Männern getragen worden sind, dürfte es sich bei den Fitwear Modellen vorzüglich um Damenschuhe handeln.

O site Van Gogh Letters (www.vangoghletters.org), foi feito um site para promover os seis volumes em livro das correspondências de Van Gogh com seu irmão Theo, das 902 cartas, apenas 80 foram recebidas por ele.

Ich hab mich gut gewundert, als plötzlich neue Schuhe mit Fitflop Technologie, der Microwobbleboard Mittelsohle, unter einem anderem, aber ähnlichem Namen auf den Markt gekommen sind. Warum das der Fall ist, weiss ich nicht genau.

Ich weiß nur, dass die Fitwear Modelle auf der offiziellen Seite fitflop.com folgende Namen haben:

• FITFLOP Mukluk
• FITFLOP Ultra Lounge
• FITFLOP Inuk
• FITFLOP Gogh II
• FITFLOP Snugger

Doch in Europa wird die Winterkollektion scheinbar ausschließlich unter dem Brand Fitwear vermarktet, warum auch immer. Ich habe mir einmal Gedanken gemacht und möchte diese gern mit Euch teilen:

• Rechtliche Probleme (Markenrecht)
• Hoffnung auf noch mehr Erfolg mit einer neuen Marke

Doch das sind nur Vermutungen. Optimal ist die Situation für die Vermarktung aus meiner Sicht auf jedenfall nicht. Immerhin waren dir Fitflops gerade dabei sich zu etablieren.

Übrigens scheinen die Fitwear Modelle aus Europa den Fitflop Modellen von fitflop.com zu entsprechen. Und sie haben, daraus macht kein Händler ein Geheimnis, die patentierte Microwobbleboard Mittelsohle, die eigentlich nur in den Fitflops verwendet wird.

By the time Tolliver was 13, he had grown tired of realism. He was quoted as saying: “There was no imagination in my realistic drawings and they began to leave me feeling empty. É verdade… quão intenso e revigorante dedicarmos um tempo só para nós e ouvir aquela linda música… que tal um legítimo jazz… pode ser o clássico Take Five (1961), do fantástico The Dave Brubeck Quartet… se deliciar com a translúcida poesia de Manoel de Barros…  onde “poesia é voar fora da asa”… se maravilhar com o colorido impressionista das obras do pintor holandês Vincent van Gogh, a exemplo do genial “Campo de Trigo com Corvos”, concluído em Julho de 1890, nas suas últimas semanas de vida… isso é fascinante e ao mesmo tempo intrigante, não? E, finalmente, olhos nos olhos, poder dizer às pessoas mais importantes da sua vida: “obrigado por você existir”!

París.- Fueron amigos hasta el capítulo de la oreja cercenada. Se le atribuía el hecho a los constantes desvaríos de Vincent Van Gogh  y pocos tomaban la referencia indispensable de su relación con Gauguin.

Como el mercantilismo no reconoce fronteras ni ética alguna, un grupo musical español decidió valerse del nombre y la anécdota en pleno siglo XXI, sin que tuviese nada que ver con la pintura y mucho menos con el extraordinario maestro holandés. Así, la oreja de Van Gogh adquirió cierta popularidad, no tanta como la que mereciera el artista plástico.

Eugene Henri Paul Gauguin fue un aventurero de vida díscola e inestable, pero se convirtió en un genio de la pintura que hizo amistad profunda con Van Gogh hasta que le cortó la oreja.

Todo por una riña a partir del hecho de que Van Gogh pretendía que Gauguin no se marchara a París, en un momento en que ambos parecían entenderse y se inspiraban en el océano creativo de los genios de la plástica.

Nacido en París en 1848, Gauguin es considerado uno de los maestros franceses del posimpresionismo y entre las curiosidades de su vida están sus nexos familiares con España, América del Sur (Colombia principalmente) y Panamá.

Hasta ahora los biógrafos afirmaban que el corte de la oreja del pintor holandés, que pasó gran parte de su vida en territorio francés, fue una automutilación en uno de sus habituales arranques de locura.

Lo cierto es que ninguno de los dos pudo disfrutar del éxito y el reconocimiento, salvo en momentos bastante fugaces. Van Gogh, oriundo de Groot-Zundert, Países Bajos, vendió un solo cuadro en su carrera, gracias a la promoción de la esposa de su hermano Theo.

El holandés asentado en Francia, produjo alrededor de 900 pinturas y mil 600 dibujos, fue figura cumbre del posimpresionismo, el expresionismo y el fauvismo, reputado autor de Los Girasoles y autorretratos. Falleció a los 37 años de edad.

“Yo arriesgué mi vida por mi trabajo, y mi razón siempre fue menoscabada”, rezaba en una carta que se le encontró luego de pegarse un tiro en el pecho.

La Casa-Museo de Van Gogh en la Ciudad Luz es una demostración gráfica y hasta triste de su propia existencia. Cuesta imaginar que tanta genialidad sucumbiera en un espacio lúgubre, plúmbeo y ausente de la más mínima señal de grandeza.

Gauguin, con aportes al uso del color en el fauvismo (estilo cumbre de Matisse), navegó a ratos con algo más de suerte. Murió a los 45 años en Atuona, Islas Marquesas (Polinesia) después de pintar su obra testamento “¿De donde venimos? ¿Qué somos? ¿Adónde vamos?”.

Un libro recién salido al mercado y bajo la firma de los académicos alemanes Hans Kaufmann y Rita Wildegans con el título de En la oreja de Van Gogh: Paul Gauguin y el pacto del silencio, es el producto de 10 años de investigación.
Según los autores, luego de examinar al detalle los testimonios de los presentes y la correspondencia de ambos artistas, parece evidente que la pelea terminó cuando Gauguin, considerado un maestro de la esgrima, cortó la oreja de su amigo.
Existió un pacto secreto para evitar que Gauguin fuera a prisión y no quedó claro si se trató de un accidente o el hecho ocurrió dentro de la encendida disputa ante la decisión del artista francés de marcharse a París.

Da staunte ich nicht schlecht. In einem ZDF spezial zur Europawahl berichtet Bernhard Lichte über den Rechtsruck in Europa und deckt dabei ganz nebenbei noch sensationelle Neuigkeiten im Mordfall Theo van Gogh auf.

Für Empörung in der muslimischen Welt sorgte der von Wilders mit Theo van Gogh produzierte islamkritische Film „FITNA“. Intoleranz mit schlimmen Folgen: Theo van Gogh wurde 2004 ermordet.

ZDF spezial zur Europawahl

Da war ich natürlich erstmal baff! Hatte ich das richtig verstanden? Theo van Gogh wurde also nicht aufgrund seines Filmes “Submission” auf offener Straße brutal ermordet? Einen Film in dem er die Unterdrückung und den Missbrauch von Frauen unter Berufung auf den Islam anprangerte?

Nach neusten Erkenntnissen des ZDF hat er also 4 Jahre nach seinem Tot mit Wilders den Film “FITNA” produziert?

Doch nicht nur das: Das ZDF sieht die “schlimmen Folgen” durch dessen Intoleranz verschuldet. Mit “schlimmen Folgen” sind übrigens das vom Fahrrad schießen, das Kehle aufschlitzen und schließlich das befestigen eines 5 seitigen Bekennerschreibens mit Hilfe des Messers, am Körper des Intoleranten gemeint.

Im Beitrag des ZDF werden auch keine Szenen des Films FITNA, sondern des Theo van Gogh Films “Submission” gezeigt. Aufgefallen ist der Irrtum trotzdem niemanden beim ZDF. Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Drehbuchautorin des Films “Submission”, sieht Provokation als Motiv des Films FITNA und fordert, die Immigrationsdebatte nicht den Extremen zu überlassen.

Amsterdam és una ciutat d’aquelles que s’han de disfrutar. Heu d’agafar un avió, un vol de baix cost potser, o un de millor, i plantar-vos a Amsterdam. També podeu anar-hi en tren, via París. Hi ha bona comunicació. I, fins i tot, com nosaltres, podeu arribar-vos-hi en cotxe. És lluny, a uns 1.700 Kms, però s’hi va per boníssimes autopistes. Amsterdam te canals i cases barroques del XVIII i molt d’encant. Només per passejar pels seus carrers plens de vaixells ancorats ja val la pena arribar-s’hi. Però Amsterdam també te molts museus. Tants que no us els acabarieu. Nosaltres en vàrem escollir dos. El Rijksmuseum conté obres d’artistes holandesos i internacionals de gran categoria. Hi trobareu aquells Rembrant o Veermer que heu vist a tots els llibres d’art. També el Museu Van Gogh, on veureu totes les grans pintures d’aquest genial autor. Segons el que més us agradi podreu completar aquestes visites amb el museu de l’Ajax, la casa d’Anna Frank, el Palau Dam o el barri vermell. I potser passar-vos per un coffee-shop… sense nens, és clar!. Nosaltres ens varem allotjar al càmping Gaasper Amsterdam. Loosdrechtdreef 7, 1108 AZ Amsterdam Zuidoost. Aquest és el més familiar de tots. Està al costat d’un bonic llac, a les afores de la ciutat, i s’hi arriba molt bé en transport públic. També teniu hotels bé de preu, amb habitacions familiars com els Novotel. Amsterdam és un bon punt per visitar tot Holanda. És un país molt petit, amb moltes ciutats precioses, i un extraordinari sistema de trens i bus. Teniu al vostre abast Den haag, Utrech, Delft… Al voltant d’Amsterdam hi ha poblacions petites però encantadores. Us recomanem que destineu un dia a visitar-les. A nosaltres ens encanten els petits poblets de pescadors del nord, a tocar del mar: Volendam, Edam i Marken. O Haarlem amb els seus formatges. Podeu arribar-hi amb bus molt fàcilment.

Encontraréis aquellos Rembrant o Veermer que habeis visto en todos los libros de arte. También el Museo Van Gogh, donde vereis todas las grandes pinturas de este genial autor. Según lo que más os guste podresis completar estas visitas con el museo del Ajax, la casa de Anna Frank, el Palacio Dam o el barrio rojo. Y quizá pasarse por un coffee-shop … sin niños, ¡claro!.  Nosotros nos alojamos en el camping Gaasper Amsterdam. Loosdrechtdreef 7, 1108 AZ Amsterdam Zuidoost. Este es el más familiar de todos. Está al lado de un bonito lago, en las afueras de la ciudad, y se llega muy bien en transporte público. También teneis hoteles muy bien de precio, con habitaciones familiares como los Novotel. Amsterdam es un buen punto para visitar Holanda. Es un país muy pequeño, con muchas ciudades preciosas, y un extraordinario sistema de trenes y bus. No os perdais Den haag, Utrech, Delft … Alrededor de Amsterdam hay poblaciones pequeñas pero encantadoras. Le recomendamos que destine un día a visitarlas. A nosotros nos encantan los pequeños pueblos de pescadores del norte, cerca del mar: Volendam, Edam y Marken. O Haarlem con sus quesos. Se puede llegar en bus muy fácilmente.

Today was filled with Portland episodes of Caitliny adventures! Van Gogh painted vans, Ben n Jerry’s (mmm strawberry/banana frozen yogurt), Ten Thousand Villages photos, and yes, the eternal optimism of… spud spud?

Gotta say, these types of creative graffiti always have me jealous. What would I do if I were on a deserted street, some white…oil pastels? (I don’t know, I’m day-dreaming)in my hand, and a name as fabulous as spud spud?

I have to hope that I too, would christen a stop sign to let all others know my invincibility! : )

Well, today I took my little brother to London. He’s been loads of times before, but I thought I’d take him to see Buckingham Palace and Downing Street, etc. His name’s Joe and he’s gonna be 9 in August. He’s at a weird age where he refuses to stand still for more than about…3 seconds. Anywho. I figured since I never do anything for him, I’d take him out.

I have a problem with trains. I have to get on the train as soon as it comes in otherwise I get paranoid that it’s gonna leave without me. My brother, on the other hand takes after my dad (my dad worked on the London Underground for about 15 years) and is really comfortable around trains and likes to get on right at the end of the platform meaning we had to walk a really long way. I figured – me being the oldest and all – that I would just force him to get on with me near the end and that would be that. Apparently not. Joe decided it would be a good idea to run to the end of the platform by himself, leaving me to chase after him. Jesus that boy is fast. So we finally got on the train, made it to London unharmed and feeling okay, got off and made it onto the streets, we realised it was pouring down with rain. Great. I figured we should do something inside until the rain stopped – whilst my brother was saying ‘Hello, poops’ to passers-by – so we headed to Trafalgar Square to go to the national art gallery, the only free place I could think of XD So we enter the gallery, and Joe immediately tells me how bored he is, but I soldier on, proud of myself for thinking of this XD Take one look at ‘Sunflowers’ by Gogh, decide we could do better and leave.

By this time we’re quite hungry, so we go off to find somewhere to eat. Btw, I love street entertainers. They brighten up my day XD Zizzi has nice pizza XD Then we went to Buckingham Palace. We decided to see who could make the guard talk to us first. It started off with just waving, quickly progressing to us shaking our heads disapprovingly at him and then finally my brother started yelling at him. I decided it was time for us to quickly leave We went to the big statue climbed it and then went to see the horsies XD Let me tell you, they were pwetty XD I stroked it and had a picture taken with it too XD But zomg, this guy with a sword came up to us and I got really freaked cause I thought he was gonna attack us.

So then we figured we should go see 10 Downing Street even though you totally couldn’t even see number 10 from the gates. Laaaammmme. We had to ask the policeman, who was quite good looking, to tell us where it was. Psh. Sooo not worth it. Also, Westminster Palace was a waste of time – not allowed in to see the Prime Minister apparently :/ So yeah.

Was a good day really XD I shall now leave you with a typical ‘Joe’ moment:
