John Legend has debuted his new single online.

“Who Do We Think We Are” – featuring Rick Ross – marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming fourth studio album, “Love in the Future,” scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / HomeSchool / GOOD Music / Columbia Records.

The new collection serves as the follow-up to 2008’s “Evolver.” That release debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also generated four hit singles in the shape of “Green Light (featuring Andre 3000)” “If You’re Out There,” “Everybody Knows” and “This Time.”

Among the musicians backing Legend – real name John Roger Stephens – on “Love in the Future” are Kanye West (Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey), Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis (Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson), Tobias “Toby” Gad (Robin Thicke, Natasha Bedingfield), Paul Epworth (Florence Welch, Adele Adkins) and Da Internz: Marcos Palacios & Ernest Clark (Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland).
