DON’T LET YOUR MiND STOP YOU FROM HAViNG GOOD TiME

It’s Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!  That’s right it’s Christmas   Though I normally can’t stay until that late but I did that this time because I want to wait for the moment.  Just to be the first one to wish, kiss and hug my love.   When the clock hit 12midnight and I gave him a sweet kiss, big hug, greeting card & gifts.  He gave a cool gifts for me as well.  What a wonder moment!  Thank you love.

Then woke up around 4am+ to call home to wish my sister, granny and aunt but too bad can’t get hold of Mom’s cell.  I will try again later.

Well, there was a very disturbed  news that I discovered from my sister.  Her whole family swing by our home in Balik Pulau where Mom and brother family live on Christmas eve.  Guess what!  my sister standing outside the door and asked if Mom around.  And my brother said ‘Don’t know’!  Thus Evelyn asked again ‘Don’t know’? and he replied probably granny home.  What frustrating was he not even paid attention by welcoming and open the door follow by walk in the house.  Well, sister Evelyn thought he went in to get the key.  OMG! he came out with a broom stick and dustpan!  Uhg..what’s wrong with this moron?  Seriously, shame on your behavior and even the 3 year old will behave better!  Evelyn just left since there is no sign of welcoming.  Not sure what is going with him but one thing for sure.  He changed significantly ever since he got married with the trashy lady.  He treat our parent & sibling badly.  Well, May God Bless his family and him.  Hopefully, he redeem himself before too late.

Oh my! It’s about 9.30pm after dinner and we both just about to wind down for the long holidays weekend.  Then my love asked me to put on my jacket and let’s go out!  Hmm that’s surprise and I asked him if it is right now and he said ‘Yes’.

Guess what!  He took me to watch the Christmas lawn decorations by some of the houses.  Wow!  It was great and even attract visitors to watch it.  I bet their energy bill will be extremely high.  Though I did not do any decoration this year neither home nor work.  This bad flu seasons has been bothering both of us very much.  Also, the unconfirmed move schedule just makes me can’t do anything!

Though it was very sweet of him to drove me to watch the lights   Thank You love!

Why Darwin?  Because I had never been, what better reason do you need!

I mentioned Darwin to one of my adventure buddies (Deb).

Not long later, 2 flights return, and the price had dropped! $115 each way per person!

If you think you sweat a lot while exercising during Summer… You should head north to top end of Australia, Darwin, during the build up to the wet season. 

In Darwin walking pace slows to an amble, beverages are consumed in large quantities, while you wait for the sky to open, with spectacular lightning and heavy rain. 

What an amazing, yet very sticky place to be.

Good times for me don’t always have to involve riding, running, or climbing something, it can be as simple as playing a bit of lawn bowls barefoot style. 

The Bareena bowls club in Newtown offers Friday night fun with a relaxed atmosphere and very cheap beverages! $5 gets you everything you need, and barefoot is the best way to get round not having the correct shoes.

But of course, just because it’s relaxed doesn’t mean it’s not competitive.

When you put my mate Mitch, housemate Troy, and myself anywhere near an activity that can have anything close to a result/winner, you know it’s going to be on like Donkey Kong!

The only girl who will wash dishes and study when drunk on her Birthday. Happy Birthday!!

We normally dinner out especially on Friday night just to kick back and relax after a long week at work.  However, we didn’t to night as my love didn’t feeling well.  Thus we went to hospital knowing that this is the ugly flu season.

Thank God the evening clinic is still open and we were waited for 10mins to see the on call Dr.  What a relief that the Dr confirmed it wasn’t Swine flu however Dr advised us to keep track on the fewer it the fewer is up again then will need to take the Tamiflu meds.  Well, regardless what we picked up the meds from pharmacy anyway.  Then stop by Target for the Thermometer guess what we both end up did a little shopping there while drinking the peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks.

We got home around 9pm and order pizza online and later enjoy the pizza while listen Holidays music while guessing the original singer of the song.  This is wonderful and glad his fewer is gone too!

Just a reminder that at all 5 of our locations on Wednesday December, 9th we will have a $10 a team pool tournament starting at 6 p.m. Drink specials all night and live entertainment starting at 7.  COME HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!

The smell of spice, the yellow leaf that fell on the ground and the beautiful holiday decoration on the street or mall just make me smile.  That’s right the Season Holiday is now officially kicks off after the Thanksgiving celebration.  The nice holiday music that some of the radio station begin to play for 247 until Christmas is over.   I truly love this time of year…

My plan for the holiday gift is ready too…

American celebrating  ‘Thanksgiving’ event with eating lot of food with their closes pals and family.  From the main entree such as Turkey, spiral ham, the side dish of green beans casserole and dessert of pumpkin pie and cookies.  Bet most of the house wives spend hours in their kitchen to prep for the meal.

We got spiral ham instead of turkey this year.  Also, I got the sample of the ham and it taste good but the one we got just too salty.  And I spent about 5hours in the kitchen.

I am Thankful for EVERYTHING that I have today.  Thanks to the highest up there and my best friend, my love and my hubby always there for me.  Thank you love for loving me like you do.

So when I googled “Kokopax,” the company that used my song, I found the video above! It’s on their company’s home page too! (www.kokopax.com) I think the song fits perfectly and really enhances the video, so I’m glad it worked out. Also, I wrote the company a thank you email and got one right back from the owner of the company, telling me how they’d picked my song and been really happy with it. That was awesome. So if you’re having or already have a baby, check out Kokopax when you need to buy a baby carrier or diaper bag! Is that me selling out? Hahaha.

In other news, I just went into the studio and had “Friday Night Forever” mixed and mastered, and it sounds truly excellent. We transformed one of my voice parts in the song into a robot voice and it adds so much to the song. This is the song I’ll be submitting to the latest ReverbNation promo campaign, so I don’t want to put it up anywhere else just yet, but I hope to get back in the studio to finish “Good Time” and “Hold For Your Lovin’” this Sunday so at least I’ll be able to put those out for you to hear. I am soooooo close to finishing all the tracks for my album, and I’m already getting lots of great ideas for sassy, fun pop songs for the next record.

I’m also looking forward to finishing doing all the solitary work of making all the tracks and recording vocals so I can start collaborating and performing like mad, and sending my demo around to industry people. That’s when the fun part will really start!

For the first two days aboard the Norwegian Spirit as part of the Sweet Cruise I was confused. Why does everyone look like they are having so much fun? I still had not gotten over my previous family reunion cruising experiences so came in with the following thoughts (read about that in my last entry)

1- We weren’t actually going anywhere: We’ll dock at tourist traps and they will only give you a maximum of eight hours there so that you can’t wander off.
2- Food, food everywhere, but I still feel like I’m starving: There is 24 hours of free food access. But, because I have become an enormous food snob and Food Coop nerd I can taste the canned, powdered and pre-cooked nature of all of mass-made food. I’m going to resort to my stowaway nuts.
3-The cruise will make an attempt to make you think that a floating Hilton with attached mall (aka the ship) is an authentic and exotic experience: For example, by hiring Chinese folks to serve the Chinese food, Indians for the Indian food….

It was not until mid-week that I was able to move past these expectations. For good reason as I was on the cruise to film a pilot (aptly named “The Lez Boat”) so spent the majority of my time learning lines or cooped up in odd locations acting as “Heather” the “Fitness Instructor.” I also was scared when my friend Katherine told me that she saw a girl with a hat that said “I took my girlfriend bow hunting.”

As I got more time away from set and into the midst of things my impressions of the cruising experience started to change. Yes, the food is blah, and yes, everyone is funneled into tourist traps, but when I accepted those things as givens (and gave my stomach a chance to get used to preservatives) I saw the positives of what was going on around me. Specifically that 1,000 lesbians were on board having a week-long party and the MTV spring break that no one gave them. People were friendly, relaxed and happy because how could you not be? Everyone was invested in having a good time and enjoying the surrounding community. Here are the positives of being on a Sweet Cruise — wet T-shirt contests, go-go dancers by the pool, Toyland workshops, queer bingo, gay country dancing, parties late into the night every night…Lesson learned: you could be in Antarctica, the Republican National Convention, or a pre-fab tourist trap, if you insulate yourself from harsh conditions with enough good people you are bound to have a good time.

A friend of mine today asked me,

“How do you know what a good time is?”

My answer to that question was simple.

“When your having a good time”

And his reply was,

“Yeah I know, but how do you KNOW what a good time is?”

I got to thinking a couple of things, one this dude is a fucking idiot. And two, how are you going to question the validity of your good time based on what you think a good time is supposed to be? So what if you don’t have naked women running through the house chasing each other while you do a line of cocaine off a 6,000 dollar a night hookers ass. If your having a good time, your having a good time be it jerking it to some quality internet porn or out with your boys for a few beers and some laughs. Stop fucking analyzing your life!

I’m so excited to have booked some studio time for this Sunday so I can finish up “Friday Night Forever,” the song I”ll be submitting to ReverbNation’s sponsored songs program, and hopefully also “Good Time,” which has been a big hit at shows.
