No Google Adsense para pesquisa

1) Na sua conta Google, vá em Configurações do Adsense > Adsense para pesquisa.

2) No campo ‘Sites selecionados’ adicione a url do seu blog, ex: www.dicazine.com.br. Você também pode adicionar blogs ou sites que você tenha, para ajudar a promovê-lo, enviando-o tráfego.

3) Nas opções ‘Abertura da página de resultados de pesquisa’, escolha a ‘Abrir os resultados em meu próprio site’ e digite a url, ex: www.dicazine.com.br/busca (você pode escolher qualquer página, nos próximos passos criaremos a página com esse slug – /busca).

4) No ‘Local do anúncio’, acredito que é melhor selecionar a opção ‘Superior e inferior’, pois como os resultados da busca aparecerão no conteúdo de seu blog, você não terá muito espeço para colocar anúncios laterais.

5) Coloque as outras opções de acordo com o que você quer e clique em ‘Enviar e obter código’. Agora você deixa essa página aberta com os códigos e vamos instalar o plugin que fará o trabalho sujo pra nós.

Baixando e instalando o plugin

O plugin que usaremos será o MightySearch. Esse plugin nos ajudará a deixar o trabalho mais fácil. Então vá até a página e baixe na versão mais nova.

Depois descompacte o arquivo e faça o upload dessa página em php para o diretório de plugins no seu WordPress.

Ative o plugin e na página de configurações, você verá a aba do MightySearch. Você verá que tem dois campos para adicionar os códigos que vem do Google. Então é só copiar e colar.

Atenção: quando você colocar o Código dos resultados de pesquisa, existe um campo que define o tamanho dos resultados na sua página. Geralmente é 800. Altere esse valor para o tamanho da área de conteúdo da sua página. Aqui no Dicazine eu uso 600px por exemplo, então coloquei apenas 600 nesse campo.

Criando a página que mostrará os resultados

Crie uma página qualquer com o mesmo slug que você colocou no passo 3 logo acima. No nosso caso colocamos /busca.

No conteúdo da página, coloque o código: <!--mightysearch--> - isso irá chamar o formulário de pesquisa e os resultados. Para chamar apenas resultados, coloque <!--mightysearch_result-->, ou para chamar apenas o formulário, coloque <!--mightysearch_form-->.

Pronto acesse sua página e veja o formulário de pesquisa.

Alterando outros formulários do seu blog

Você provavelmente quer alterar os outros formulários do seu blog para que direcionem para sua nova página com os resultados do Google. Para isso você terá que mexer nos arquivos do seu template. Geralmente, então acesse o diretório do seu tema e abra a página searchform.php. Então é só substituir o formulário dessa página com o ‘Código da caixa de pesquisa‘ do Google Adsense.

Provavelmente você terá que fazer alguamas alterações nesse formulário para encaixar direitinho com seu layout. Mas ai é com você.

Dessa kan automatiskt populeras även beroende på hur pass populär en annons är. Vill ni kan annonsörer husera själva, i en begränsad variant, direkt i systemet.

Det gör förhoppningsvis att en annons antal views maximeras. Både med hjälp av teknisk och manuell påverkan.

Okay, so I mentioned Google Ad Manager before, but you know it really deserves another look. This is potentially a revolutionary change in online media buying (what another one?). Effectively what Google is doing is opening up the doors for loose networks for display type advertising on properties that they don’t own. This is so unlike the more traditional method of audience building through acquisition or creation of own portals (AOL buying Bebo, MSN trying to buy Yahoo!, Yahoo!’s investment in portal content..). it’s also contrary to the big moves over the last 18 months towards psychographic  (behavioural with aspirations) ad serving across controlled networks (MSN and Yahoo!).

Google has again stolen a march on the marketing industry. Why hadn’t we thought of that.  (doh!) Google has already transformed analytics with the launch of GA last year, now they will be able to collate behavioural informaiton across multiple non-owned sites with the potential of selling ad space across a huge network of both niched (great for goal oriented web users) and community based sites (great from brand).

With the Double Click green light and this service being tagged onto the Adsense network which is already trusted by advertisers, this move is a bit of a marketing wow for the boys in Palo Alto.

And honestly, I don’t know yet since I didn’t really understand, till I read Jeff Jarvis post on BuzzMachine Google Ad Manager: It’s bigger than it looks what Google Ad Manager actually was.

A good overall description of Google Ad Manager was published Thursday in the New York Times in an article titled Google Launches Hosted Ad Management Service:

“….Ad Manager is flexible enough to let publishers sell their own advertising, Google said. For ad space they can’t sell, publishers can opt to use Google’s AdSense system to fill unsold slots.

Google’s AdSense delivers text advertisements that are matched with the content of a Web site. Google will let publishers use Ad Manager in tandem with similar technology from other competing ad placement networks.

Ad Manager can also target ads at specific users. It is capable of delivering ads based on a user’s domain, the brand of Web browser and language it uses, the PC’s operating system and how much bandwidth is available on their Internet connection.”

So, Ad Manager doesn’t do really sophisticated behavioral and demographics type targeting , but can do some basic targeting that should be sufficent if your not trying to do anything exotic – that’s what it looks like to me.

But Jeff Jarvis thinks this “Google Ad Server” development is much bigger than anything else that happened this week – and a lot happened this week…

“….The biggest news of the week — well, besides the governor-erect (hat tip to the New York Post) — was not AOL’s purchase of Bebo or Yahoo’s embrace of the semantic web (about which I remain skeptical) or certainly Lacygate. No, the biggest, most game-changing news went by without a great deal of notice and that Google’s announcement of a free ad-serving platform.”

Jarvis sees Google being “Google” and holding onto the data for it’s own purposes – perhaps reasons that really aren’t very valid:

“…There’s just one issue: It’s not open-source. And it’s Google’s.

Google’s benefits are clear: By offering free ad-serving to sites, it has an opening to be on many more sites, and when they don’t have ads of their own to serve, Google can serve AdSense and make some more money. Google also gathers incredible data about ad performance and pricing and about the sites themselves. One big problem with its program is that it doesn’t share that data with the publishers and let them use it to more efficiently serve its ads. It also doesn’t share it with advertisers and let them take advantage of a more transparent marketplace.

No, Google’s holding onto that information itself and, once again, becoming smarter than all of us. And I say that’s our own damned fault for not building our truly open ad marketplace. It’s not too late, but it soon will be.“

Ah … now I got figured out – it’s Google that’s serving us (up on a platter).

Ha, Ha, Ha – maybe Jeff Jarvis is putting me in the “To Internet Serve Man” mood! According to Jeff Jarvis:

“…Altogether, Google is simply doing what Google does: creating a platform. That benefits all its users and it benefits Google by putting it at the center of the market. But the more closed that market is, the more it benefits Google over the users. And the more Google becomes the sole standard, the more it can successfully make it closed. So if we’re going to create an open ad marketplace, now’s the time. If it’s not already too late.”

Is Google Ad Manager just another way to get us hooked into a system “they” control and keep closed?
