Back to Inform Local Visibility is paramount on the Internet. When we are talking about local search

Back to Inform Local

Visibility is paramount on the Internet. When we are talking about local search results, we are talking mainly about Google Local Business Directory. When people search for local services they usually type a town or state name, zip or area code + a service (example: “01876 roofing” or “Massachusetts roofers“). You will need to be listed in the top of Google’s heavily trafficked directory to get solid results.

When searching on Google or Google Maps for local services, the directory results return on the top of the first page. Most searchers will only click on the top 3 listings. This is the same for Yahoo Local and other directories. This can get you and your business to the top of major search engines for free. Directory listings are free and do not require a website.
Go to Google Local Business Center or Yahoo Business Directory and sign up.

Google Directory Optimization
When doing a search for a service business like “Dentist in Tewksbury” or “Roofer in Massachusetts”, you may get 15-100 results, listed on multiple pages (only 1-6 usually show on first page). Its important to be in the top three of the first page. There is nothing worse than doing a search to see how your company comes up on search, and then see your competition eating your lunch, your free lunch at that (meaning they are ranked higher on the directory). If you want to get to the top of the directory’s, and not end up out side of the coveted top three positions, it will help to have a web page optimized for your category, and domain name linked to these directory’s (Not required). Most important though is the description and category section of the directory, make sure to add several category specific keywords in the description section. Google will give you five spots to choose a category, use them all! After you have selected the best categories (that auto fill), write in your own category based on what local people might type into a search engine while looking for a product or service you offer (hint: use plurals). After you type your business name, differentiate your self (Example: Inform Local -Advertising Experts).

Well I tried my mum’s advertising slogan, and I actually have had a few clicks-throughs on the Google ad. No sales yet though! But I haven’t lost all hope, I mean, I can’t expect people to buy the book straight away when there are no reviews, no look-inside feature and a chart position of 300,000!

But it is a small success to have had over 10,000 page impressions and 14 clicks for 23 SEK (about £2).

This was just an experiment. I will run the campaign for longer when the LookInside feature is in place.

I am worried about something I read about with Google Ads called the “Google Slap”. Apparently new campaigns seem to get good results in the beginning but many people claim that after a while their ad’s page-impression rates slow down if they don’t raise their bids – that’s the “Google Slap”.

photo:NYTIMES

article: Brad Stone

“Tuesday was another typical day for John Chow, blogger and Internet entrepreneur in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Chow treated his 50,000 Twitter followers to a photograph of his lunch (barbecued chicken and French fries), discussed the weather in Vancouver and linked to a new post on his Internet business blog.

Then he earned $200 by telling his fans where they could buy M&M’s with customized faces, messages and colors.

Mr. Chow is among a growing group of celebrities, bloggers and regular Internet users who are allowing advertisers to send commercial messages to their personal contacts on social networks. For the last month, he has used the services of Ad.ly, a start-up based in Los Angeles, and Izea, based in Orlando, Fla., to periodically surrender his Twitter stream to the likes of Charter Communications, the Make a Wish Foundation and an online seminar about working from home.
In October, Mr. Chow’s income from Twitter ads was around $3,000. “I get paid for pushing a button,” he said.

It is perhaps the last frontier in advertising — getting regular people to send a sentence or two of text, on behalf of paying advertisers, to their friends and admirers. The idea, according to the entrepreneurs who are developing such services for Twitter and other Web networks, is that people trust recommendations from those they know and respect, while they increasingly ignore nearly ever other kind of ad message in print, on television and online.

Even the Internet giants are warming to the idea of harnessing informal chats between friends to promote their products and services. This month, Amazon.com said it would start paying commissions to individuals who refer buyers to the site via Twitter messages. (People must first sign up for Amazon Associates, a program in which Amazon pays Web publishers for referrals to its site.)

But the bigger opportunity may be in matching advertisers with so-called influencers — the more popular users of services like Twitter. A number of start-ups, like Ad.ly, Izea and Peer2, a division of Creative Asylum, a Hollywood ad agency, are pursuing the opportunity to put persuasive messages into regular dialogue on social networks.

“We don’t want to create an army of spammers, and we are not trying to turn Facebookand Twitter into one giant spam network,” said Joey Caroni, co-founder of Peer2. “All we are trying to do is get consumers to become marketers for us.”

For the most popular celebrities and bloggers on Twitter, such advertising can generate a surprisingly sizable payday. Ad.ly and Izea, which runs a service called Sponsored Tweets, say celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Dr. Drew and the musician Ernie Halter can earn up to $10,000 by sending a single message to their hundreds of thousands of followers. (Sample ad Tweet from Mr. Halter, which included a link: “sponsored: yo! cheese doodles is giving away sweet prizes in the “rock the cheese” video contest. Check it!”)

Izea receives at least 15 percent of the advertiser’s payment to more popular Twitter users, and up to half for the less distinguished. Ad.ly takes a 30 percent cut across the board. While both companies note their celebrity connections and the involvement of big advertisers like Microsoft and NBC, they really salivate at the prospect of marrying less notable Internet personalities with the huge pool of smaller advertisers.

For example, an expert on cycling, with 1,000 Twitter followers, might agree to send an ad about a new bike helmet — a message that might well be implicitly trusted by his followers.
One problem is that many Internet users eschew the idea of these ads, saying they commercialize authentic dialogue and undermine people’s credibility. “It interferes with your relationship with your friends and your audience,” said Robert Scoble, a technology blogger with more than 100,000 followers on Twitter, who says he “unfollows” people on Twitter who send him ads.

Facebook does not allow members to insert paid ads into status updates or profiles. “For us, it goes against the authenticity of the page,” said Brandon McCormick, a Facebook spokesman. Peer2 gets around the ban by offering users points instead of dollars; points are redeemable for Amazon products.

Part of the unease with this emerging form of advertising is rooted in the past. Three years ago, with a service called PayPerPost, Izea paid bloggers to pitch products to their readers. The endorsements were not clearly labeled as ads, and the service kicked up a dust storm of criticism in the blogosphere.

Ted Murphy, the C.E.O. of Izea, now a 30-person business backed by $10 million inventure capital, said the company initially “made a big mistake” by not setting disclosure standards for publishers and advertisers. Today, ad networks promote their standards; Izea’s ads on Twitter are typically demarcated with signifiers like “#ad” or “#sponsor.”

ONE new company trying to add transparency to the business is Likes.com of San Francisco, which plans to introduce its ad network in December. The company encourages bloggers and Twitter users to specify their tastes in restaurants, movies, books and other products, and then to publish those recommendations to their blogs and social network pages.

Advertisers can then see who has favored their products in the past, and how effective their recommendations have been at getting people to click on links. Depending on the advertiser, bloggers and Tweeters will be paid for every ad they send out, or every time someone clicks on the link.

Every Likes.com ad is clearly labeled as such, and once people click on a link, they are taken to another page that is also clearly labeled as a sponsorship. People are limited to posting an ad from Likes.com once every other day.

“We are trying to limit it, to prevent people from losing their following,” said Bindu Reddy, a former Google product manager who started the company with her husband, Arvind Sundararajan, a former Google engineer. “We know people are queasy about this.”

This is actually brilliant!

Well, if only i have that social position that Mr. Chow has. Its actually a practical business solution to let the word out (that is how i define an ad– mind you!), a perfect marketing strategy which has relatively small overhead cost but reaches the right audience (the twitter followers) targeted by the advertisers through this exploited channel.

So its not surprising that one of these days we can see a precipitous increase of people who want to earn money by wielding this new format to their already established venture (i.e. Google Ads)

Lucky for those who has a gazillion followers down their line.

Pay per click advertising methods are becoming increasingly attractive to many companies that want t

Pay per click advertising methods are becoming increasingly attractive to many companies that want to promote their business on the Internet. Instead of relying solely on traffic from organic search results, pay per click advertising platforms such as Google Adwords can help your company achieve prominent placement on the search engine.

Google adwords may seem expensive to some, however, it can get target leads into your website. Below are some guidelines for starting on Pay Per Click campaign.

Step 1: Define your ad budget. Google adwords, and other PPC programs, allow its users to set a daily or maximum ad budget. This option is great for tracking your campaigns and allows you to spend at a level you’re comfortable with. Do an initial test or survey your market first and set a low daily limit. On the contrary, you can put up several ads all at once in different markets, if you can afford it. You then retain the ones that produce results and drop the ones that do not work.

Step 2: Decide what type of risks you are willing to take. Boris Mordkovich, author of the book “Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing Handbook” points out that PPC advertising with the major search engines is a less risky endeavor than conventional marketing campaigns, but certain search engines will offer you a higher return on investment than others. The ones that do offer a higher ROI may cost you more, so you need to decide beforehand what types of risks you are willing to take.

Step 3: Choose your keywords. There are many free online tools that you can use to discover the most relevant keywords for your market. Keywords are the backbone of every pay per click campaigns. Selecting the wrong keywords can be disastrous to your campaign so you need to spend some time to make sure that you get the right keywords. Aside from keyword research, you may have to do A – B split tests to select a winning list of keywords.

Step 4: Review your campaign’s results. Most PPC platforms provide a convenient reporting tool that gives you the ability to adjust your campaign based on the data you gathered so far. Reports will usually include the number of clicks for each keyword, the time of day your ad was clicked, and the location of those who clicked your ads.

Step 5: Optimize your ads. When you have finished reviewing the reports, you can then pull the plug on low performing keywords and only run ads on keywords that brought in the most results. This list of keywords will allow you to focus more on creating and optimizing your ad copies.

It is easy to setup PPC campaigns but each campaign must be monitored and fine-tuned to bring in profits. Follow these five steps to get results out of Google adwords and other PPC advertising programs.

Marketing with Google Adwords is an effective technique that most online-businesses can use to find more sales. Creating quality Google Ads is one of the best skills to have when using Adwords – and there are several good training guides available online.

I scored my first big hit with a Guardian comment, see here. This is the story of poor old Gordon Br

I scored my first big hit with a Guardian comment, see here. This is the story of poor old Gordon Brown’s bad handwriting and spelling in a letter to the bereaved mother of a British soldier killed in Afghanistan. I admit my vulturous glee at my comment’s success is vulgar, but in my defence I did genuinely feel what I said

But this is an interesting tactic for advertising. I wonder if it will have any effect at all. The old joke in the advertising industry – that half the money spent on advertising is wasted, but no one knows which half – comes to mind.

The comment got 164 recommendations – when people read and like a comment they can click on the “recommend” button next to it. It’s a bit like saying “hear hear!”. Of course there will be more people who read the comment, liked it and did not click “recommend”. More still who read the comment and were ambivalent to it or disagreed with it. And even more who didn’t read it but did see the book cover logo. I estimate that I got several thousand page impressions of the logo for free!

On the other hand 1000 page impressions on Google Ads or Facebook Ads is almost free, but I’ll come back to those another day…

One of the primary reasons why most people create websites or blogs is for monetary purposes. It is

One of the primary reasons why most people create websites or blogs is for monetary purposes. It is true that there are increasing numbers of web publishers and authors who benefit a lot from doing such thing. And this benefit that I am referring to is the financial benefits.

Earning Money from Your Website

One of the easiest ways to earn money from your website is by means of integrating Adsense on it. Adsense is one of the most powerful tools used by lots of online publishers and authors who wish to monetize their sites and articles.

In order to make the most of your income, you also need to appropriately exploit Adsense ads. Proper utilization of these tools will give you a big chance to generate a huge amount of income from your sites. Nevertheless, improper convention of them would mean ravaging a bunch of cash on the table. Of course, you do not want this to happen, do you?

How to Maximize Income with Adsense Utilization?

Now that you already have a crucial thought about monetizing with Adsense ads from your sites or blogs, it is time to tackle on the significant strategy, as the key element to maximize ads usage. Thereby, earning double in a short period of time.

•	Keyword Integration

Good quality contents are keyword integrated articles. Incorporating relevant and significant keywords in your articles is one excellent lead for those who wish to maximize earnings from their sites. By doing so, it will give your websites a better opportunity to obtain higher rankings in any Search Engine.

The higher the ranking of your website is, the more it would be known to many people. Hence, the bigger the possibility of site visits. If more people would visit your website, the higher the chance of clicking through the Adsense incorporated in each page. Furthermore, the more clicks they do, the larger the profit you will get in the process. Quick and easy money you’ll catch.

Consider the following tips on how to encompass an effective Adsense. You have to know this prior to writing your own site ads.

•	Powerful Keywords

When we talk about powerful keywords, they are the top-rated phrases and common topics that most people search over the Internet. You need to choose those keywords that would bring a bigger impact to more people, thus, would trigger them to browse and click through the embedded Adsense ads.

For you to know what these keywords are, you can try visiting some sites offering some keyword selector features and suggestion tools that would give you more details about the top keyword searches.

•	Genuine Contents

One key component for quality articles is a genuine content. You have to keep in mind that in content creation, there are two main objectives to consider. First, is to produce a quality article that search engines would take pride of. Second, is to create a piece that would meet the demands of the readers.

These two objectives can possibly be achieved by writing articles with authentic filling. Likewise, creating them with a keyword integrated content.

•	Quality Sites

This is the combination of the first two strategies given. A quality content site is the one created with powerful keywords and genuine contents, integrated with Adsense. Furthermore, these ads target the topics and keywords of your website articles and contents. Eventually, would lead to achieving the main purpose of their existence — income generation.

One more thing, remember to position your Adsense ads in the right place where readers could easily locate, thus, could then click through it.

There are still other tips and strategies in Adsense utilization, which you need to know about. What we have discussed are just the basics.

Remember that applying these basic tips would let you double your earnings with adsense. So, how much more you would earn if you learn more than the basic concept? For sure you would say that blogging and website publishing is indeed, the most prolific, the coolest and a stress-free job ever!

Keep posted with my next piece that would discuss more about Adsense usage and benefits.

The Below entrepreneurship information below is an answer to the age old question – Trusting a

The Below entrepreneurship information below is an answer to the age old question – Trusting a website and Entreprenuership On-Line. Finding a real trusted website is so important on the Internet. Please read below a real answer to a real question from a real customer.

Hi France,

I would like to thank you for contacting me in regards to your question of concern.

The Internet is full of “quick money schemes” and a real danger out there in the wide world of honest people looking to make extra income on the Internet.

Please bare with me…as I explain the over-all structure and why it works as an end result…

Here is the reality of “Making Money on the Internet” :

1. It is LONG and can take as long as five years – because we are bound by google searches.

Reason : Google uses spiders to search what is popular among people searching for information on the web. Items of Information that are popular in the billions of searches get first hand at the top ten lists.

What does that mean to YOU :

It means that google will verify the “Links” that are tied to your website. It also looks very closely with all the information that your website is providing to viewers. You website you have must have at least five pages – the more pages that are “linked” to your main page is better for you. But this is not the end…it is just the beginning.

Google 2nd Requirement: You must inter-link with other websites and blogs out on the web that is related to your website. It must be related or google will “grade you accordingly”.

Google grades your website according to these items:
1. Relative Information

2. Keywords are relative to the information YOU give and are continuous on your website

3. Feedback from other websites that have similar information that is on your website.

4. NO “dead links” – very important and most entrepreneurs check out their website constantly/daily to make sure there aren’t anylinks that lead to – error pages or blank pages (if you do have a dead link – find out why and get hold of the interactive link with the person you had that link with)

5. Interactive Links that have your website link on their webpages (Very important) – But Careful Note
Here : There are websites out there that are called viral websites that encourage people to join their website for free and to earn points as a member if they click on other members websites – THESE WEBSITES ARE CONSIDERED BAD – and google will markyour website if you interact with these websites.

So – careful signing on with these free websites.

6. Google encourages interactive websites that are your own – In other words the more websites that you owe gives YOU a stronger relationship with google.

So – What Do You Do ?
1. Get a website that is cost effective to YOU and will not cost you an arm and a leg. I highly suggest you check out my website :

( I’m thinking of placing a month to month feedback of visitors to my website -http://201art.com to show the growth of viewers to my website.

2. I highly suggest you purchase “Smart Space” (please check at http://201art.com ) which is the biggest bang for your money – and your

money purchase is very small ($60.00 CA – on yearly basis) to purchase your own interactive website.

And the best part is you get your “Domain Name” (Your personal website name) for only $1.99 – that blows everyone else away.

3. Get as many as five websites to get you started ( I presently have ten websites and growing) with their own domain names that you choose.

4. Check your competition – this is so important -see what they are saying about the same subject (information) that you are or will be providing.

5. Check out their “source” of information – look at what keywords they use and double check their keywords on your own – this means place those keywords in the google search and see what comes up on the first page of google search.

6. Never have what is called a “mirror” website. A Mirror website is one that is very close to the exact same information that you have in you original website.

7. YOU MUST ADVERTISE your website locally and internationally. Use your newspaper and on-line advertising places such as Google , Face book and Twitter. You may eventually use Yahoo and Microsoft

- but they are expensive…so use your money”intelligently”
How Do You Know when You Find a “Truthfully Website”?
This is a very good question. The best way to find out about someones website and to see if they are truthful – you must check them out yourself – and you can place this question into google search (For Example only) : Is Making Money Fast a scam -

Using “scam” in your search will pull up fake websites automatically. But – still be careful -because there are those that write on their own behave …using the term ” is such and such a scam – they are promoting their own website.

Look at the layout of the website – if it looks generic with super super guarantees – click away fast. Some other clues are those pop-ups that ask you not to leave. LEAVE AND LEAVE QUICKLY.

And – just like you have France – contact that person and ask more questions before you place your hard earned money down. But – again – be extremely careful because there are still those that are catching on and making their websites cleverly authentic.

Never be afraid to ask questions – The most obvious RED FLAG is when the owner of the website does not answer any of your questions or concerns.

Always check to see if their is a mailing address on their website and double check their address on google or yellow pages.com ( Not a good idea to give your phone number – as this leads to mass marketing scams headed directly to your phone number – use caution when giving out your website address. Make a point of having viewers contact you by e-mail – it is safer and reliable.

Even with all these precautions you still can be tricked into a “bad website”.

What Do You Do To Make Sure You Are Not Tricked?
You keep with familiar websites that you truly know in the real world - for example: Sears, Godaddy, Priceline, art.com , Macy’s, Walmart, camping.com,NOVICA Handmade Jewelry – in association with National Geographic, mozy.com, weight watchers,Chapters.ca or .com, Indigo and so on.

The idea here is to use companies that you are know in thereal world and have used before.

How Does this help my website?

Having associates with real large corporate companies means viewers are more likely to trust your website.

Reason: The large corporate companies will only pick you as an associate with their company if you are a “Real Trueful” Company. When YOU want to become an affiliate with their company – they check out YOU very closely. If they find you are an impropriate and a danger to their company – they will reject your website.

So – if you see a personal website that use corporate websites as an affiliate – you know you are finding a good website. But still check them out – ask questions and get the right answer before you put your money down.

Another Safe Suggestion:

If a website uses Paypal as their secure shoppingcart procedure – you know you are safe.

How?

Paypal holds all purchases to make sure that the viewer is satisfied with their purchase. Not only

that – they are extremely secured within the transactions and you can complain if you find your purchase has not meant your means. This means Paypal is protecting you from the bad guy. This is why if you see a business that promotes Paypal – itmeans the company you are making the purchase from is serious about how YOU are about their products or service.

The Bottom Line – If it sounds too good to be true – It usually is.

Use caution and keep answering questions and make sure they answer your questions – VERY IMPORTANT

So – How Do I get my website noticed on the wide world of web?

1. Advertise as stated above

2. Have a least five websites if not more – the more the better for you as a trusted website

3. Become a partner with cj.com and ask to become an affiliate with large corporate companies

4. Keep your website current – Up to Date is so so important

5. Also – advertise yourself by going social – as in Face book and Twitter – You can follow me at @artolympics2010

6. When socializing in Twitter and Face book – do not spam your viewers – you can only give them

information – your viewer must make their own decision to go to your website or not.

And Lastly :

You may find these tasks overwhelming to keep up to- but never get discouraged – as an Entrepreneurwill tell – keep plugging along – “no” is never in your vocabulary. And never ever listen to yourfriends – most friends will tell you not to pursue your “dreams” – always keep in mind what they are doing in their life’s – Are they successful – that is the key – are they successful.

Working for corporate companies in the real world -such as Mary Kay can be beneficial for YOU as

personal achievement and to your success. But, the reality of being a entrepreneur is that you must

interact with people and never ever get discouraged.

In Conclusion – it is a LONG ROAD to success, but in the end, it is very very rewarding.

I’m serious about earning extra money ( I’m looking

to buy a house ) I don’t need that extra money to

buy it but I’m looking for a little extra income.

I’ve joined Mary Kay (and I don’t care for beauty

products lol) which is ok but I still need to get

out of my house and with my present work I don’t

spend a lot of my time at home and would like to

start doing just that a little more.

I’m a workaholic but I just reach a step where I

need more time for myself.

”So – what happens is that it grows slowly. And

the money is real hard cash… any questions?

those that seriously want an income with the real

cash. ”

I don’t mind if it grows slowly. I’m just wondering

if I’ll spend the money for nothing and If I REALLY

need to spend that amount of money each month to

learn how to do it.

I did try some stuff from online publicity. I

always ended up spending money and not having

returns on it.

Any personal feedback would be more than welcome.
Thanks for your generosity.
Another useful method is Google Analytics, using google analytics, we can find out the keyword users used to find out the website and also it is possible to find out the web pages that the visitors spent more time, number of visits, location etc.
2. Internal Search in the Website: When we place a search option in the website, and while checking the logfile of the internal search results, we can identify the keyword people used to gather information once they get into the website. Also it is an easier method to find out the common spelling

Creating Google Adwords campaigns that generate results are often difficult, particularly when opera

Creating Google Adwords campaigns that generate results are often difficult, particularly when operating in a niche that is extremely competitive, and when utilizing keywords that are also being used by your competitors. The difference between your copy and theirs will come down to semantics that is, unique ways you present the information and attract attention from your target audience. You can do this by writing and testing a variety of ads, but the good news is, a lot of the work has already been done for you!The intricacies in writing effective ads that generate hundreds to thousands of clicks are already known to many affiliate marketers.

Perry Marshall, the author of The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords explains that customers and viewers of your ads will only convert into prospects or leads when they can truly resonate with the message delivered in the ad. Using the same tone, language and conversational style as the customer can drive up your click through rate and bring hundreds, if not thousands of highly interested prospects back to your site.

Here are just five ways you can begin writing compelling ads for your Google Ad words campaign:

1. Own the unimaginable or inconceivable. People continue to be attracted to simply out-of-this-world claims; even if they don’t believe it, the idea piques their interest and they are likely to click on your ad. Evoke their curiosity by presenting out-of-this-world claims, and see how those clicks multiply!

2. Give a secret. A lot of people wanted to get updated and informed about products or services for them to come up with intelligent choices. Revealing some secrets in your ad or adding a feature story is sure to keep these people highly-interested in your ad campaign. It is essential employing this elaborate scheme when you establish a new product or service in the market.

3. Never underestimate the power of ellipses. A good way to solicit more clicks is to add three dots (also known as ellipses) at the body copy of your AdWords ad. Readers or viewers normally react to them, thinking that there are other surprising info at hand, and are inclined to checking the ad to discover more. Ellipses are useful in cases where your ad answers a question or recommends a solution to a problem since they create a certain level of curiosity from viewers, and makes their response rate higher.

4. Capitalize each of your leading words. In formulating an ad that creates strong impact to viewers, you need to capitalize your keywords, except placeholders like ‘in’, ‘the’, ‘and’. These ads are easy to read and naturally attract attention when they are sitting next to other, similar ads in your market. Using capital letters also renders professional look on your ad and elicits trust from the audience or viewer.

5. Use powerful take-action words in your headline. ‘Free’ is perhaps the most powerful word in advertising because it provides an upfront incentive for anyone who clicks on the ad. These set of words also create increased click-throughs and allows ‘hungry’ leads to almost instantly click on your ads: ‘Discover’, ‘Get’, or ‘Learn’.

Online marketing is now essential for businesses as the internet becomes more integrated in our dail

Online marketing is now essential for businesses as the internet becomes more integrated in our daily lives. Pay per click advertising is one of the most effective form of online advertising today. PPC campaigns draw traffic from search engines by displaying ads relevant to what is being searched. When clicked, these ads take visitors to a sales page or landing page.

When executed properly, PPC campaigns are an effective way to generate interest in or sell a product. PPC campaigns can be set up through Google Adwords and other advertising publishing platforms, and can be monitored and tweaked as the campaign runs for better performance. Still, one of the most important elements of PPC advertising is measuring the effectiveness of the campaign. Since all of these campaigns can be monitored for click-throughs and conversions, ad publishers can set up reports and metrics to determine exactly which types of ads are getting the most results.

Traffic metrics is the most basic way to measure the effectiveness of your ads. Monitoring your site’s traffic will not only tell you how many people have visited your site, where they are in the world, and can also sometimes reveal how they arrived at your site.

The data that directly affects your sales is your conversion rates. Simply put, your conversion rate corresponds to the number of ads that were clicked and the sales that resulted from them. Monitoring this data will reveal how much have to spend on advertising before making a sale. However, conversion rates aren’t only limited to sales of a product.

Joseph Thornton, author of the book, “The Online Advertising Playbook” explains that site registration, submitting contact information or requesting a download of a product or service are all forms of visitor interaction that could qualify as a ‘conversion’ when they are directly related to a PPC campaign.

Another effective way of evaluating your PPC campaigns is to track the conversion of your keywords. Tracking conversions down to the keyword level requires a greater effort on your part but this information will tell you exactly which keywords you need to drop and which keywords you need to optimize your site around.

Finally, determining the rankings of your advertising segment will help you determine which placement is the best for your particular niche or industry. Google Adwords rotates the ads in its sidebar column to ensure a fair advantage for all advertisers, but there are some spots that are considered ‘Featured ads’. These spots may have more value for you in a very competitive market, and can make it easier for you to decide where and how to promote your PPC campaign and achieve the best possible results.

Marketing with Google Adwords is an effective technique that most online-businesses can use to find more customers. Writing quality Google Ads is one of the most important skills to have when using Adwords – and there are many good training guides available online.

Think you can’t make money with Google Make Money AdSense Campaigns? Then think again, as more and m

Think you can’t make money with Google Make Money AdSense Campaigns? Then think again, as more and more people like you and me are doing it.Google adsense adwords allows website owners to create additional steams of income by placing ad codes on their websites, and when site visitors click on the ads the website owners get paid a commission for the “clicks”.

There is no set amount for the fees paid. Instead, it can range from a few cents per click to upwards of $5.00 or more. I’ve not experienced the “high end” yet, but I’m working on it. I’m getting better and better at identifying high paying Keywords. And the more the keywords pay the greater my commissions are.

What you’ll find that is paramount to your success is your ability to generate lots of high traffic, low competition keywords. While you might think of it as something hard to do, there’s a tool that makes the task elementary, but more about that in a few more seconds.

Here are 3 Make Money AdSense Tips

1. Get Started.
If you’re at all interested in Make Money AdSense Campaigns you should go to Google and sign up for an account. It won’t cost you a dime. Plus, there are lots of free tutorials to fully explain what Google adsense adwords are and how it works.

Additionally, you’ll also learn how to optimize your website pages for greater adsense earnings and higher “click throug” rates. The site is full of useful information designed specifically to help you maximize your earnings. There’s absolutely no reason to not take advantage of all the money making tools and resources the site makes available to you.

2. Niche Marketing
Perhaps the best way to increase earnings from Make Money AdSense Campaigns is through Niche Marketing, a form of marketing that identifies and targets smaller, specialized audiences.

Niche markets are exemplified by the fact that niche markets cater to smaller subsections of larger audiences.

For example, instead of marketing the term “flowers”, you’d target “roses”. While this will result in a keyword term that generates fewer searches, there is often times a lot less competition for it. Consequently, you could end up making a lot more money on a keyword that generates fewer searches.

In the past, uncovering niche markets was near impossible, and when the technology became available it was terribly expensive. However, now it is both affordable and very easy to do.

3. Keyword Selection.
So, how do you go about uncovering hidden, keyword rich niches. Well, its pretty easy to do these days with any one of several keyword research tools, some of which are free.

However, I’ve settled on a Micro Niche Finder that is absolutely out of this world. With it I have discovered keywords that are searched upwards of 60,000 times per month with hardly any competition whatsoever. Plus, I’ve been able to buy up the domain names of those related keywords.

This particular Niche Finder has a function that tells you the strength of competition for the keywords and when I find words that are attractive, but that I have little chance of cracking into the Top 3 with I avoid them and move onto something with easier pickings.

Summarily, if you’re not hosting Google Ads on your websites you’re missing out on a great opportunity to generate passive income. If you already have websites up and running it won’t tale but a few minutes to Monetize it with another stream of income and you should go for it.

Google Make Money AdSense Campaigns are great ways to create Multiple Streams of Income.

And sometimes, you might think that the one who put google ads sense in their blog is the money person or the purspose the their blog is just to make money.

Do you know how much they can earn per day via google ads? Hmm, too bad and not much as you think! I am not sure about the other’s site or blog, but for my blog I can earn only 0.4 USD in about 3 months. (យកទៅធ្វើអីកើតលុយប៉ុណ្ណឹង?)

So, why I still put the ads there? It’s not just for the money at all, but just to use some free space on my blog.

A free advertisement space and to displays your ad across all your friends profile in Orkut. You can promote anything you want in the Ad space.

How does it Work?

The link to the promo creation ‘Promote’ is on the left hand sidebar

Using this one can create new promotions as well as view stats of the the previous promotions.

You have the option to create and style your promo in 3 ways-

Text

Photos

Youtube Videos

Once done you can check a preview of the same before confirming on the final copy.

Once you have submitted the promotion, it will be displayed in your Friends circle in Orkut.

It starts displaying on the Profile page of your friend.

Here’s the best part. You can get your ad promoted.

Once your promotion ad is displayed on your friends Profile page, they can either ‘Promote it’ or ‘Trash it’. If your friend promotes your ad, it will be displayed in his/her friend’s network as well and your Promotion goes Viral.

You also get data which helps you analyse the trend of the ad.

Impressions Received

Clicks Received

Liked ad and promoted it

Disliked and Trashed

This past May, Openx received another $10 million in financing to help it remain independent–f

This past May, Openx received another $10 million in financing to help it remain independent–from Google among others. The CEO believes this latest round of funding should take it through to profitability. Openx plans to charge a commission of 15% for ads placed through their open market. For ads less than 7 cents cpm, they will charge 2 cents.

I for one am so glad to see this. I’ve tinkered a little bit at their site but haven’t managed to buy or sell any ads yet. But, I’m not a big techie. For a computer person, it seems like it would be pretty easy to get ads up and running.

So what is Openx? Think of it as being like Google adwords, but without all the smoke in mirrors. When I think of Google’s adwords, it reminds me of the Wizard of Oz–you know, when the wizard is behind the curtain–pulling all the levers and you have no idea what he is doing inside there–and you aren’t allowed in to see either.

How much does Google make on each ad? Where was the ad served? How much did the ad cost? Google doesn’t want you to peak behind the curtain because then you will find out all their little tricks and how much they are really making.

And don’t even get me started on the Google slap thing. Hey little advertiser guy, you looked as us wrong. No more Google adwords or adsense for you–spanky spanky. You don’t have 50k hits per month? Then Google no likey you. You cannot play. Sound familiar?

If Google did buy Openx out, it would be horrible. In fact, I think the government would need to investigate if any antitrust laws were being violated.

Google already has a stranglehold on the market. Many of the ad networks have that popped up have that same wizard with a curtain feel to them.

I’m glad to see Openx. I really hope they succeed.
