NEW DELHI: Eating at railway-run outlets at stations will soon be a new experience. The new series of Janata Ahar eateries will present a bright and clean ambience along with an attractive price line menu.

Eleven such food plazas are in the pipeline and four of them will be opened during this month itself. Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee will launch the model outlet at Howrah in the next few days, and the ones in Chennai, Bangalore and Secunderabad will come up by month-end.

The other seven in Patna, Sealdah, Lucknow, Kharagpur, Gorakhpur, New Jalpaiguri and Mysore will become operational in December. Other stations will get the facility sequentially.

“You can enjoy your food at as cheap a price as Rs.10 in a bright, fresh, happy and clean ambience,” said Passenger Services Committee chairman Derek O’Brien.

With a seating capacity of at least 50, these outlets will serve the Janata meal of poori-bhaji at Rs.10. Bread pakora and plain dosa will also cost Rs. 10 each, and masala dosa Rs. 15. Aalu chop is priced as low as Rs.3.

The costliest combination is fish curry and rice at Rs. 35 and chicken curry, at Rs.30. A cup of tea (bag) is priced at Rs.4 and coffee, Rs. 5. The menus will be in the regional language, Hindi and English.

Green tables will go with yellow chairs. Waiters will sport yellow T-shirts, green trousers and a cap with a similar colour combination. The logo, too, is a design mix of these colours.

No outsourcing

The new venture will be run by the railways and not be outsourced. The restaurants being run by various operators will be taken over as and when their contracts end, and the space utilised for setting up the Janata Ahar plazas

Kushinagar is a land which makes tourist a time traveler. The temples, pillars, viharas and garden silently speak a million stories of its past glory. Kushinagar is located on the border of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the important pilgrimage destinations for Buddhists as Lord Buddha attained Nirvana from here.

The city is filled with beautiful Buddhist relics and dazzling gardens. The most beautiful garden I found was the Japanese garden located in the heart of the city; this is one great attraction which should not be missed at any cost. It is a rock garden built with the finger prints of orient architectural style. Apart from the Japanese garden there are a few more must see attractions in the city like, the Japanese temple, Buddha Vihar, Wat Thai temple, Chinese temple, Meditation park, and Birla temple. Any tourist guide can take you there and help you understand the glory of this great city of the past.

Varanasi is the nearest airport and Gorakhpur is the nearest Railway station both these places are well connected by road to Kushinagar. There are two or three resorts near Kushinagar.

Salut.

Bewajah jine se kisi maksad ke sath marna behtar hai

dont get amused by this qoute, i heard this in a hollywood movie (ofcourse dubbed in hindi :p), and i liked it, so juz wanted to share it.

The heat has now become body-melting. The sun seems in anger, and the clouds too. And worst thing is that its not gonna end soon, will have to face it for around 2 more months.

I’ve been regular to college from last few days, but i go in the afternoon only, at around 1pm. Its too hot at that time, but my purpose is lil different , not just to attend the classes. Ha ha ha. Its really a punishment to sit in our lecture halls nowadays. The fans work very slow, no airconditioning, and even the water cooling machine stops when under pressure.

She’s been regular there days which forces me too to be the same .

Even after facing the harsh reality bytes, i don’t think i’ve much effect on me. dil kya kare jab kisi se kisi ko pyaar ho jaaye ?

i don’t know where it will lead my aimless life to? Either to a brighter side or a blackhole.

So only this much for now, next post will be in a day or two

Its April today, fool’s day. Don’t take otherwise, just joking (just talking to myself, i know no one reads this ). (i started this post yesterday and finishing today.):) i didn’t went yesterday to the college. I’m now in prostho, and i can’t tolerate it a minute, and i’m ready to face any consequences (?). I just wanna get rid of it.
There days i’m facing so much of tension, so don’t wanna increase them. I don’t know why she isn’t coming to college nowadays. Everyday i go with hope that today i’ll get to get her a view, but everyday i’m disappointed. Its really frustrating. But i can’t even complain to anyone. This is the most serious problem. Its killin me from the inside., day by day..
I’m sure it will lead me to severe depression, but i can’t help. I have only two ways now, her or ↑.
I’m honest by heart, good to others (i dunno what others think), then why its happening to me only. If its the way then i request the administrator over there to call me back. Or better tell me my faults. Last time i survived but miracles don’t occur very often !

The 5 poor Nepalese women were on their way to the Gulf country via India to earn their livelihood.
