TORRE DEL GRECO  - Per ridurre al minimo i disagi agli utenti degli otto comuni interessati dalla carenza idrica prevista nelle giornate di oggi e sabato, disagi dovuti ai lavori alla camera di manovra di via Cifelli a Trecase e che porteranno il settore Ciclo integrato delle acque della Regione Campania a sospendere l´erogazione dell´acqua a partire da domani mattina, la Gori – società che gestisce la risorsa idrica nelle città interessate dai disservizi – ha comunicato di aver provveduto ad attivare diverse fontanine pubbliche.

Queste le località dove sono state installate le fontanine: a Boscoreale in via Diaz (angolo Della Rocca) e via Volta (adiacente rotatoria Passanti); ad Ottaviano in via Ferrovia dello Stato (angolo via Di Prisco) e via Pentelete (adiacenze rione Ina Casa), a San Giuseppe Vesuviano in via Zabatta (angolo via Carilli, di fronte all´istituto alberghiero) e via Lavinaio primo tratto (adiacenze rete ferroviaria dismessa); a Terzigno in via Volta (angolo via Caprai e adiacente rotatoria Passanti); a Torre del Greco in via Nazionale (angolo via Lava Troia) e via
Litoranea (angolo via Ponte della Gatta). Purtroppo nel 2010, nonostante le corse alle privatizzazioni (rivelatesi dal punto di vista concreto solo fallimentari e cassa di risonanza per i partiti politici che ne hanno gestito l’affare) nel Vesuviano non si contano più le emergenze idriche e nessun sindaco alza la barricata. Perchè gli amministratori tacciono? Perchè non c’è un’alzata di scudi da parte della gente?

Cuando empecé a leer esta novela esperaba algo diferente, la busqueda de la tumba de Jesucristo o algo por el estilo pero la trama no va por ahí aunque no por eso es menos interesante.

Sigamos a este republicano florentino atraves de esta aventura en la Italia (ciudades estado) Renacentista.

Gori, martedì 18 agosto

Nel 2003 avevo solo attraversato Gori in autobus al mattino presto senza poterla visitare. Il nome di questa cittadina di circa 50mila abitanti entrò l’anno scorso nelle case occidentali per i bombardamenti subìti durante il conflitto con la Russia per la questione dell’Ossezia del Sud.

Gori è però famosa soprattutto per aver dato i natali a Josif Vissarionovič Dzhugašvili Jughashvili chiamato Stalin (da stal’, “acciaio” in russo), il figlio più (tristemente) famoso di questa terra.

In moltissime città dell’ex Impero Sovietico si vedono ancora le statue di Lenin. Nel 2002, quando stavamo viaggiando con Andrea per l’intera Ukraina, si ingannava le attese giocando a calcio nelle piazze: nella parte orientale del paese eravamo sempre osservati dal fiero cipiglio di Lenin. Rimasero famosi i palleggi nella piazza di Jalta, in Crimea.

Non succede lo stesso con Stalin. Gori è probabilmente l’unico posto al mondo in cui si trovi ancora il viale (Stalinis gamziri) e la piazza principale (Stalinis moedani) a lui dedicati, così come la grande statua del “baffone” davanti al municipio.

A Gori esiste anche un museo dedicato al dittatore che ancora provoca profonde discussioni tra i georgiani. Al contrario di quanto si possa pensare, Stalin non è molto amato da queste parti. Anzi, gli amici giorgiani che ci accompagnano volevano quasi convincerci a non andare.

Nel giardino, si vede la modesta casetta di legno e mattoni in cui Stalin nacque nel 1878 e dove visse i primi anni della sua vita. Il resto del quartiere popolare in cui sorgeva venne spazzato via negli anni Trenta per celebrare il dittatore, lasciando solo la sua casa. Si è perfettamente conservata, inscatolata com’è sotto un tetto.

Un edificio del 1957 ospita il museo vero e proprio aperto durante l’epoca sovietica. È molto interessante, anche se ovviamente si parla solo in termini positivi di Stalin, senza accennare alle sue malefatte che portarono alla morte di milioni di persone.

L’esposizione inizia con la sua infanzia e la famosa prima foto da adolescente, insieme a quelle del padre Besarion (Vissarion) e della madre Ekaterina.

Continua poi con l’attività rivoluzionaria nel Caucaso ed include anche oggetti assurdi come una lampada con carro armato annesso.

C’è anche una stanza in penombra in cui vengono presentate alcune maschere funerarie del dittatore.

Un’altra con i regali ricevuti, in cui fa bella mostra anche un improbabile servizio composto da due tazzine e posacenere omaggiato dalle donne comuniste di Ascoli Piceno in occasione del suo 70º compleanno…

La guida è una tipica bellezza georgiana che ondeggia sui suoi tacchi.

Dopo le sale, ci fa visitare anche lo storico vagone ferroviario antiproiettile con il quale Stalin viaggiò a Tehran (novembre 1943) e Jalta (febbraio 1945): quegli incontri con Churchill e Roosvelt disegnarono il panorama mondiale del dopoguerra. È ovviamente lussuoso e possiede tutte le comodità.

Curiosando tra i cassetti della cucina si vede che qualcuno ha lasciato anche un nocciolo di pesca.

Chiediamo alla guida se ci sia stata una discussione per aggiungere qualche accenno critico sulla figura del dittatore. Ci spiega che l’hanno lasciato com’era proprio come testimonianza storica. Ma aggiunge che sì, in effetti, un anno fa aprirono un’altra sala sulle sue malefatte ma che nessuno visita. È ovvio: nessuno sa che esiste, visto che loro non lo dicono, né è neanche segnata sulle guide.

È molto difficile riuscire ad entrare: la chiave non si trova e c’è ancora la cera lacca, forse da un anno fa quando in teoria era stata inaugurata. Riusciamo finalmente ad aprirla ed esce una zaffata di aria asfittica sovietica. All’interno è stato ricreato un ufficio del NKVD/KGB.

Since there was time for another day trip from Tbilisi, we hired a car — driven by a friendly Tbilisi Armenian whose abundance of logorrhea was matched only by his deficit of teeth — and headed west towards Gori (გორი), a city that was occupied by Russian troops during the war over South Ossetia and Abkhazia in August 2008. A bit of the highway between Mtskheta and Gori, repaved and being made to look like a German autobahn or American interstate, actually straddles the border of South Ossetia. While we didn’t see any Soviet, uh, Russian, troops, we did see a number of makeshift villages for refugees.

To the dismay of sensible Georgians, foreigners have made Gori one of the most popular tourism sites in the country. Though it boasts an impressive medieval fortress, a stunning medieval church, and a Late Antique and medieval cave-city, Gori is most famous for its son-gone-bad, Ioseb Jughashvili, a.k.a. Stalin (1878-1953).

The Saakashvili administration, which has no love for the Russian Federation and things Soviet, has occasionaly stated its intention to remove the statue and to close the city’s Stalin Museum.

There are other sites of interest in Gori. So we headed into the hills…

… and ended up at Ateni Sioni (ატენი სიონი). The church was built in the 7th century and is patterned upon Jvari in Mtskheta. The dark interior boasts some well-preserved medieval frescoes, but photography is strictly forbidden by the grumpy keeper. The exterior is equally impressive, especially since the church is set within a beautiful green valley, but for the past three years or more the structure has been undergoing a slow renovation. The scaffolding curse strikes again. Sigh.

Don’t count on it.

Om man har lite tid över i Gori är inte bara Stalinmuseet en riktigt udda plats – jag gissar att det är det enda som finns att se i Gori överhuvudtaget. Men även om man är i Tbilisi och har tid över är det mödan värt att åka till denna  märkliga plats – det tar bara ca 40 minuter med bil. Att kalla det ett smultronställe är att leda er i helt fel riktning, men det är inget besök man glömmer, inget museum bland hundra andra.

I Gori möter en närmast surrealistisk förträngningsmekanism – Stalin är för vissa (en utdöende skara gissar jag) fortfarande byns son och stolthet. Jag promenerar längs Stalinavenyn ned till Stalinmuseets pampiga entré. Utanför museet står ett den stuga, stor som en Friggebod, där Stalin fötts. Den enkla lilla stugan har byggts in i ett klassiskt tempel i miniatyr. Tystnad och solsken skänker nästan värdighet åt den slitna stenbeläggningen utanför. Inte ett spår av den tjugonde partikongressen, den kongress som var startskottet för avstaliniseringen, så långt ögat kan nå. Det sägs att när avstaliniseringen började 1956 demonstrerade tusentals människor på gatorna här. Över hundra sköts till döds, andra skickades till lägren i Sibirien.

Museets är ödsligt och tomt. Foajé leder osvikligt tankarna till en kyrka – välvda tak, marmorgolv och målade, avlånga fönster. De tunga stenväggarna trycker mot hjärtat. En röd matta leder genom rummet, upp för en halvtrappa, där en Stalinstaty intar altartavlans plats.

Jag och mitt sällskap löser biljetter i den kombinerade kassan och souvernirshoppen. Den gråhåriga damen med mörktonade tefatsstora i luckan erbjuder också Stalinnyckelringar och omsorgsfullt retuscherade foto av Stalin i paraduniform.

Med en guide i täten beger vi oss uppför trappan och in i museets inre. Vi rör oss fram i de dunkla, oupplysta salarna. Guiden lotsar oss från Stalins födsel och påvra uppväxt, via den poesi han skrev till stövlarna han hade när han flydde ur sin fångenskap. Hon smattrar fram hela sin utantilläxa med kraftig georgisk brytning. Inget föremål är irrelevant i denna måttlösa hyllning till mannen av stål, inget suddigt fotografi utan svärta för obetydligt.

Vi flyttar oss in i nästa sal, till 30-talet och den besvärande kollektiviseringen. Guiden sänker rösten när hon medger att några misstag tyvärr begicks under perioden.

Miljoner döda -  försvunna, avrättade, deporterade.

Sedan lommar vi efter henne in i rummet bredvid, till historien om det ärofyllda fosterlandskriget. En låg stund lyssnar vi på hur Stalin vägrade utväxla sin son i tyskt fångenskap mot en tysk general.

-       Stalin ansåg att alla sovjetiska soldater var hans söner, klarlägger hon.

Hon gör en paus så att denna välmening får sjunka in ordentligt. Sedan stretar vi vidare.

Historien gör ett hopp över den besvärande avstaliniseringen och vi hamnar istället rakt in i presentrummet. Stalinmattor och Stalintekoppar och Stalinbyster och Stalinmålningar i tjock olja parader sida vid sida. Det är gåvor från folket. Från dem som överlevt utrensningarna, deporteringarna, den producerade produktionen och kriget, får man anta. Sist av allt visar hon oss Stalins dödsmask. I vit plast ligger den på en röd sammetsmonter i skumrasket. Vi drar alla en suck av lättnad.

ERCOLANO - Venerdì 2 ottobre 2009 il M.A.V., Museo Archeologico Virtuale di Ercolano, Napoli, ha ospitato la Conferenza Stampa di presentazione della XV edizione del Concorso Internazionale “Ritorna Vincitor”, che si svolgerà ad Ercolano dal 6 al 10 ottobre 2009.

La Manifestazione, di elevato interesse culturale, gode del Patrocinio del Comune di Ercolano, Regione Campania, Provincia di Napoli, Ente Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio, GORI, Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane, EPT, Camera di Commercio di Napoli. Nato nel 1983 come Concorso Internazionale dedicato alla lirica ed al bel canto, ad opera di Zonta International, Distretto 28 – Area 3, Club Area Napoli, dal 2006 Ritorna Vincitor è tornato a far parlare di sé grazie ai Solisti Napoletani, un’Associazione no-profit che ha fatto propria la mission di promuovere la conoscenza e la cultura della musica lirica. Il concorso vede protagonisti voci giovani provenienti da tutto il mondo, che si esibiranno per aggiudicarsi i tre Premi del Concorso, il Premio Barocco, i Premi Speciali ed i Premi Sezione Canzone Napoletana. La Città di Ercolano affianca efficacemente i Solisti Napoletani con l’Istituzione del Premio “Città di Ercolano”, assegnato a personalità distintesi nel campo dell’arte. Come ha sottolineato l’Assessore Enrico D’Agostino, facente le veci del Sindaco e Presidente Fondazione C.I.V.E.S. Nino Daniele,  l’obiettivo prioritario è quello di creare una nuova coscienza collettiva nei giovani, favorendone l’identificazione col territorio. Basically I’m focusing on a few areas: desi cheez (of course, including Bolly & SRK filim stuff), the hypocrisy of fundamentalist Muslim (oops I almost starting putting hashtags lol) attitudes, aur tweets about my vids (revver.com, voh lame site now owned by some goonda who’s letting it fall apart literally+ not paying anyone boo)- they r gonna be re-loaded onto a functional site ASAP (all 350+ of them & counting na?)..

..plus I tweet bout meri *NAYA FILM* whoo Working title ‘Soufi & Me’ hai na? aka ‘Soufi et Moi’ lol ‘सूफी और मैं’ ‘الصوفي & لي’ etc lol! So there *is* a 2-part vid about my casting needs for this no-budget narrative feature film (to get technical on u there for a minute)- aka u could be famous & not have to really have acting skills to do so but… haven’t posted the vid(s) yet as I’m in the middle of finding a new video hosting site for reasons listed above.

Also, didn’t forget about the (hopefully humorous) acchi desi cheez gori clothing & accessories line (srsly! 2 use twit-speak).. it’s just that.. yeppers, I’m about to get evicted from my ghur (cry!), rent hasn’t been paid since the last blog post, u can see that’s quite a long time. Plus I’m being stalked by such SF goonday na? (Real don peeps eek!)- which is what yeh filim is actually about, besides being a love story

Well, in all fairness, I did go to Melbourne for ten days and it helped me a lot. I do want to move there. I’m still incredibly depressed since my last entry, and can’t seem to get over the termination and the fact I can’t talk about it really. Like it never happened… But in all truth, I’m still in love with T, despite all we’ve been through and all the reasons why we must both be crazy to stay together. But I’m just not ready to let go. Call me crazy. (maybe I am!)

And speaking of crazy, I’m still struggling to come to terms with the really massive cultural gaps – something as simple as… facebook!

Its true that I like to write, it is a way for me to express myself and reach out to others when I’m not feeling my best. It’s a way to find people who may be in similar situations and learn how they have perhaps dealt with it. Make new friends, learn new things… fantastic.  But at the same time, I also think it can be and should be a case where all parties in a relationship or otherwise should be entitled to some level of autonomy and not have to feel like they have to disclose every tiny little tidbit of writing, contact, communication. Aren’t we allowed to have some level of privacy, something that is uniquely our own, as it allows us to be ourselves as individuals while still being part of a couple? Why does this reluctance to open one’s email or facebook page immediately mean infidelity or hiding something bad?

It reminds me a little bit of an article I read recently, where some girl was murdered by her jealous boyfriend because she changed her facebook status or something innocent like that. Since when have social sites become the be all and end all of identifying a person and their relationship qualities?

This issue came up in a rather big explosion last night, when I didn’t want to log in to my facebook account. This was largely because I had some sensitive writing (blog references etc) and felt T would be a bit sad if he read it. I was protecting him. It had nothing to do with me talking to other men or whatever. It kills me that he gives the impression that as soon as we are not in the same room together that somehow I’m some wonton goddess who is going out with the next hottest Indian guy down the street and getting jiggy.  Why not just stab me in the heart and get it over with, already!?

He then got upset with me, because, I confess one day he had accidentally left his email open a few weeks ago. I know it was wrong for me to look, but his own behaviour had been erratic – standing me up on nights we had planned to go out, not answering my messages, calls, coming home at 1am with long winded bizarre stories – which turned out really to be a meeting between him and a woman who his parents had set up as a potential matrimonial match.  Ouch.

I confronted him about this, and of course he was livid I accessed his email. But it sure did hurt when I found so many emails to women about matrimony when we were supposed to be a couple. He of course had an explanation for it all. But my bottom line question remained the same to him – if he was, as he argued, just meeting these women because his parents sent them and it’d be an insult NOT to meet them – an insult to the girl, his family, her family…. (umm, what about insult to me?) why does he continue to keep our relationship a secret, even after so long? Why can’t he just bring it out now and stop these secret meetings with potential brides? When does it end? And who is it benefiting by going through these motions of meeting them to keep families happy? Honestly?

So of course, once I said I didn’t want him to see my facebook (including my emails etc) he got very upset, laughed at me, said that I was a total hypocrite and that he felt better in his heart knowing what a liar and cheater I was… and that I had no right to judge him when I saw his email but I wouldn’t allow him to see my facebook. When I allowed him to see my email inbox not long after I saw his email as fairness, he simply replied that was not my ‘real’ email (it was) and that I surely have set up others and I was just showing him what I was letting him see.

What is the deal here? Where is the trust? How do we get it back? Do we ever? Or is it, once its gone, its gone forever?

I could sort of understand behaviour like this, say, between teenagers who are just navigating their way through their first relationships. But come on, we’re both in our thirties. We both have a divorce behind us, certainly we are more mature than fighting over facebook profiles. Aren’t we?

But I still can’t help feeling like… I just want to feel normal. Why can’t we just make friends with other people, go out as couples for picnics, dinners, walks, visits at each other’s houses… have a family, BE a family… I hate feeling like whenever his parents call I have to hide myself, be super quiet, cease to exist. He refuses to introduce me to anyone he works with, studies with, is friends with. It makes me feel like I’m a total loser he’s ashamed of. He of course explains it’s not like that, it’s not the reason… that the biggest reason is because he doesn’t want his family to find out (because somehow everyone seems to have a hotline to his parents back in India! lol) about us (another topic that is really eroding my soul) and that these ‘friends’ of his would be judgemental. Which makes me feel like – if that’s true, then why are they your friends? Can’t we make better friends, together?

For me, I feel like if someone loves you…. REALLY loves you, they could move mountains for you. Not hide you under the blankets because its convenient for them. Ouch.

Original c.1860s farmhouse for this area, upstairs flat includes shared, nicely furnished parlor (livingroom) with original white marble Victorian fireplace, smallish dining room, shared bath plus hall & staircase from entry door, plus large kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops & washer/dryer in unit. Sorry I don’t have a microwave, a coffee maker or a portable d/w, you can feel to bring any of those, or a better toaster or rug vacuum than mine, lol A small back porch, plus a yard, a view to the East Bay out the back of the house, pretty teal blue carpeting, except in the kitchen/bath/living room (which are tile & hardwood floor). There is typically easy street parking here, you can use my secure off-street parking space also if needed.

Each of the 2 bedrooms can be semi-furnished/unfurnished, your choice. The dimensions of the rooms sound smallish, but the flat itself is roomy & cozy. As you can see I have a lot of antiques, the ceilings are really high & there is excellent natural light on all sides of the building.

my cats:
Being an animal loving roomie is a must I have 2 strictly indoor cats. Please only consider living with me don’t mind/aren’t allergic to cat hair & if you can be responsible about insuring the cats don’t escape from doors or windows.

For others with pets: both cats can be aggressive towards other animals- if you are willing to go through the drama of gradually introducing pets which may only start to get along in time for you to leave, let me know Smaller animals such as birds, fish, mice/rats etc.. would likely be regarded as prey. Sorry about my cats’ attitudes -I’m an animal lover & willing to try if you are sure you have a mellow companion animal that won’t shred/get shredded by my Maine Coon, especially. Also I’m a meat-eater, kitchen is in need of pots/pans but otherwise decently equipped with basics.

Parlor room: this room has pocket doors (can be closed or open onto living room), window faces lightwell, narrow standard closet. It can be semi-furnished or unfurnished. Ceiling fan/light, Victorian doors, measures approx 10′6″ x 12′.

Front bedroom: Window facing street, Edwardian door & slightly larger closet which currently has curtain but to which door could be added. Same type of light fixture, can also be semi or unfurnished, measures approx 10′6″ x 11′6″.

There are many smaller pieces of furniture you can optionally have in your room if desired (sorry I don’t have any extra beds- again, rooms can be unfurnished or semi-furnished).

Being emotionally centered & loving cats is a big plus. There is a $900 deposit required (refundable when u leave as long as rent was paid & u don’t trash the place lol) and you pay 1/3 PGE + garbage. I don’t currently have DSL (I use wireless) but have already have the equipment & you can get it hooked up as needed etc..

It’s helpful if you have a copy of a recent credit report, otherwise be willing to pay the fee for one. You have to show proof of income, please only consider living here if you know you are financially stable & it is affordable to you

(da http://www.ilmattino.it) L’obiettivo era chiaro da tempo: restituire alla balneabilità il Golfo di Napoli. Adesso c’è anche una data: il 2011, anno entro il quale dovranno essere portati a termine i progetti principali per eliminare dal litorale vesuviano dagli scarichi abusivi.

Una missione che solo qualche anno fa sembrava impossibile. Non fosse altro che per lo stato drammatico in cui versavano le acque del Golfo, infestate da decenni di scarichi fognari incontrollati e da una politica che aveva consentito uno scempio al quale sembrava difficile porre rimedio. Poi è arrivata la svolta a cominciare dai tre progetti che hanno segnato l’inversione di tendenza: la canalizzazione del sistema fognario di Torre del Greco, l’attivazione della rete di collettamento del sistema di Ercolano e il completamento dell’analogo sistema di Portici. Grandi opere di ingegneria che hanno portato al censimento e alla eliminazione di innumerevoli scarichi abusivi ed alla canalizzazione degli altri verso i collettori principali collegati agli impianti di depurazione. Il tutto riducendo al minimo l’impatto ambientale, come a Portici, dove la razionalizzazione del sistema fognario si è sposata con la parallela realizzazione di una «passeggiata a mare» per la copertura del mega-collettore, modificando completamente la linea di costa. E tutto questo col placet degli ambientalisti che hanno visto coniugare il ricorso al cemento lungo il litorale con una scelta ecologista e di ampio respiro. La speranza e l’impegno per serrare i tempi di completamento dell’opera traspare chiaramente dalle parole del presidente dell’ente d’Ambito Mario Sorrentino, intervenuto a margine di una iniziativa lanciata dalla Gori: «La campagna di sensibilizzazione – dice il presidente dell’ente d’ambito Mario Sorrentino – è solo l’ultimo tassello di un progetto che ci vede ovviamente impegnati in prima linea e ha come priorità la tutela ambientale e quindi la salvaguardia del bene del mare. Da qui al 2011 sarà cura di questo ente seguire con attenzione il completamento integrale e gli obbiettivi posti a base del progetto di disinquinamento del golfo di Napoli: il completamento del depuratore di Punta Gradelle – prosegue Sorrentino – il collettamento dei rifiuti del comune di Sorrento, la canalizzazione del sistema fognario di Torre del Greco, l’attivazione della rete di collettamento del sistema di Ercolano e il completamento del collettamento di Portici». Commenti positivi anche dalle amministrazioni locali coinvolte nei progetti: «Accogliamo con soddisfazione l’impegno assunto dal presidente Sorrentino – ha spiegato il sindaco di Portici, Enzo Cuomo, responsabile provinciale dell’Anci – le nostre amministrazioni hanno puntato molto sui progetti di sviluppo della fascia costiera che non possono prescindere dal disinquinamento delle acque e dalla restituzione alla balneabilità dei nostri mari, che resta il nostro obiettivo prioritario».

Op de World Press Photo-tentoonstelling (nog te zien in Nederland, absolute aanrader) werd ik laatst gegrepen door deze foto van Gleb Garanich, fotograaf voor persbureau Reuters. Hij maakte de foto in augustus vorig jaar toen Georgië en Rusland een korte, maar hevige oorlog uitvochten om Zuid-Ossetië. Vijf dagen lang was de Kaukasus het brandpunt van onze aandacht, helemaal toen in de stad Gori de Nederlandse cameraman Stan Storimans de dood vond. Op deze foto rouwt een man om zijn broer die in dezelfde stad is omgekomen.

Toen de kemphanen Medvedev en Sakaashvili na vijf dagen akkoord gingen met een door EU-voorzitter Frankrijk afgedwongen staakt-het-vuren vertrok het hele mediacircus weer en hebben we eigenlijk nauwelijks nog wat van Georgië vernomen. Nu zitten we alweer bijna een jaar verder en de situatie is weinig beter. Sterker nog: zowel Georgië als Rusland hebben meer troepen richting het grensgebied gestuurd. Regelmatig worden er gewelsincidenten gemeld in en rond Zuid-Ossetië en Abchazië (nog een separistische regio in Georgië). Recent moesten ook nog de waarnemers van de OVSE en de Verenigde Naties vertrekken uit de gebieden, omdat Rusland met een veto voorkwam dat de ‘peacekeepers’ langer mochten blijven om toe te zien op de (gewapende) vrede.

Staat een nieuwe oorlog op het punt van uitbreken? Wat kan de Europese Unie betekenen in deze uithoek van het Europees continent? Kunnen de Georgiërs en Osseten nog met elkaar in één land leven en zo ja, hoe? Waarom protesteren de Georgiërs al maandenlang tegen hun president, die in 2003 nog als een verlosser werd begroet?

Morgen (donderdag) vertrek ik naar Georgië, om reportages te maken over de situatie in Georgië en Zuid-Ossetië. Ik zal proberen ook op dit blog weer wat impressies te posten.
