But hello- who’s gonna build my computer if I were doing this?

So I just want to highlight what exactly is going into my MICRO-ATX computer.

In case you don’t know what that means, its a computer that can either be described as:

A: Really Small

B: LAN party god

C: Win

D: ?????

E: PROFI- no.

But ever since Core i7 from intel came out, a surge of new-ness has been taking over newegg and zimzoom in the form of DDR3, X58 motherboards and new graphics cards. This is very exciting right now for building a PC. Which is why its happening.

So first of all, lets envision what this beast is going to be homed in.

Lian Li V351B

Basically, this case is already a winner because of the color alone. Then you get the internal layout, and the baddass cooling solution, just wating for some radiator mountage. It’s also tiny, and cheap. Did I mention its a Lian Li? 

It’s also ideal for modding, as its essentialy a blank canvas. I see Clear side panels and radiator holes in it’s wonderful future. Red just makes everything look better.

The Rampage II GENE

This thing is essentially like its big sister, the Rampage II Extreme. Mitch blogged about that earlier. X58 chipset, I7, everything. It’s just smaller, and has one less PCI. 2000mhz DDR3- It even comes with integrated X-Fi sound. Sold.

It also just came out like 2 days ago. Which if i hadn’t been so picky, i would have chosen to go full scale route and spend money that I don’t need to. But the motherboard is always the center of MY universe when it comes to building a pc.

It has everything you need, and nothing you dont need. (ie, Floppy connection? who needs those anymore?) Also, it’s pretty. +10 xp.

Btw, resist the bullshit 1000 dollar “Extreme” i7. theres nothing extreme about it except the price tag. Fucking outrageous.

Fastest RAM available within human reach right now. And will be for a while I presume. 7-8-7 latency combined with 2000mhz at only 1.65 volts. BE-LAZING. I predict hardcore overclocks for these. They also look SICK. Never a bad thing.

Just released not too long ago, its essentially just a newer improved version of the 280, but with lower power requirements, and much MUCH better overclocking abilities. 2 of these in SLI will rape eyeballs, and create faceholes on your teachers wife. (I would do dual 295, quad SLI, but it requires way too much power, and watercooling is expensive.)

Expectations of animated movies has gone down 75 percent since 4 hours ago.

So I was thinking about why the bitch has a problem with us. And obviously, violence and guns. So i thought about guns for a while, read some stuff and came up with a counter arguement.

Usually a person’s fondest memory of a gun, is tied to movies. I would guess it were the image of the protagonist, whether that be James Bond or John Mclane, arresting some well toned and defined stature, his gun of choice in the center of the image, revealing to us the point of his character and emotions. The gun is a compelling image in our cultures history.  Video games TRY to emulate this feeling of power and connection to a firearm. They fail much too miserably.  A gun is too practical in its use to hold any emotional tethers on a human mind. A true gamer, will see it as nothing more than a power up. He/she would see it as a “forgotten visual aid,” just a tad more than a muzzle blocking part of the screen, with only its projectiles and flashes stealing the show.  A tool to be used for completing an objective set before you. Full of sounds, and ferocity, but ultimately meaning nothing. You could compare a gamer, to a person in a fireworks store. Browsing, and wondering what each packages eventual payoff will be. Point being, that an AK-47 may yield a higher body count, than say the average 9mm pistol. But if you put that pistol in the hands of somebody like James Bond you strike a balance needed to make the GUN the icon. It’s the person who is holding the gun, that makes it that much more. All of the sudden you think that all of that extreme violence is required, and beautiful. Before, when games were confined to only 2 dimensions, and only an 8bit space to work with, it was close to impossible to accurately portray a firearm other than animating it with an extravagant display of sparks and a projectile; whether it be a laser, or the tracer of a bullet, slingshotting itself from the barrel of that single pixel. You would collect guns just as you would a mushroom, or a fire flower. Little, to nothing has changed since then. We still go through a first person shooter picking up firearm after firearm,

leaving one in favor of something more suiting. 8bit, 64bit, 2 dimensional or 3. I think a gamer understands this. Unfortunately, many think that guns are cool, because they kill people. But true gamers know that guns don’t kill people. People kill people. We know that that’s bad. (that’s why we play video games.) So if we don’t play games to be shooting people, then that makes me think people aren’t playing games because they want to shoot people. People are playing games, because they like the feeling of being shot at. Because at those moments, you feel like you’re the most important person in the world. As far as I can tell, that’s healthy.

Pentru a cânta la chitară, trebuie mai întâi să cunoaștem care sunt părțile unei chitări. Din figura 1, observăm următoarele: cap, cheițe de acordaj, pragus, tasta, grif (gât), marcaje, cutie de rezonantă, gaura de sunet și punte.

Anatomia chitarii

O să dau scurte explicații la părțile componente pentru a înțelege  la ce folosește fiecare:

Cap: Partea superioară a unei chitări, pe care de obicei sunt fixate cheițele de acordaj.
Cheița de acordaj: Mecanism de acordare a unei chitări. Întâlnim chitări cu 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 astfel de mecanisme, câte unul pentru fiecare coardă.
Pragus: Este situat în partea de sus a grifului (gâtului) și prin el trec toate corzile chitării spre cheițele de acordaj.
Tasta: Partea delimitată de două tije metalice de pe grif, excepție fiind instrumentele fără taste delimitate (fretless).
Griful (gâtul): Griful susține toate cheițele de acordaj, pragusul și tastele de pe el.
Marcaje: Semne, puncte sau alte aplicații grafice de pe taste. Cu ajutorul marcajelor ne orientăm pe grif. Deobicei sunt marcate tastele 3, 5, 7, 9 și 12.
Cutie de rezonanță: La chitările acustice (clasice), aceasta este cea mai mare parte a chitării, care rezonează sunetele produse de corzi. Diferite cutii de rezonanță produc sunete diferite. La chitările electrice, sunetele sunt preluate de niște dispozitive speciale, numite doze și trimise către un amplificator de sunet.
Gaura de sunet: Orificiu în cutia de rezonanță pe unde sunetul iese afară.
Punte: Suportul în care sunt fixate corzile.

În continuare vom vorbi despre numerotarea corzilor și a tastelor. Corzile se numerotează de la cea mai subțire la cea mai groasă, respectiv 1 – cea mai subțire și 6 – cea mai groasă. Fiecărei corzi deschise (nu este apăsată nici o tasta) ii corespunde câte o notă. Acordajul standard al unei chitări cu 6 corzi este indicat în figura 2. Numerotarea tastelor începe de la cap spre cutia de rezonanță. Pentru a ne orienta mai ușor pe grif, unele taste au diverse marcaje (deobicei tastele 3, 5, 7, 9, și 12).

Notă: Tasta 0 (zero) nu este pe griful unei chitări, ceea ce înseamnă că respectiva coardă este deschisă (nu se apasă nici o tastă).
