Tras 193 episodios de “CSI”, ayer AXN emitió el capítulo final en el que el alma de la serie, porque lo es, Gil Grissom abandonaba su puesto de supervisor del CSI de Las Vegas dejando como su relevo, más o menos, al profesor Raymond Langston (Laurence Fishburne).

Una pena que Grissom se vaya porque, a pesar de que sólo he visto a Langston en dos capítulos, nadie puede sustituirle por lo que sí que le voy a echar de menos, hasta tal punto de que me da pereza ver la serie sin él. Pero, como no creo que le queden muchas más temporadas que la que actualmente están emitiendo en Estados Unidos, ya tengo que acabar de verla.

Con el capítulo de ayer podía haber acabado la serie porque el final fue… Grissom dejó el laboratorio mirando sala por sala para ver a sus compañeros una vez más, mientras sonaba una música de fondo, hasta llegar a la última sala donde estaban Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) y Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) y ella le guiñó el ojo. Así, Grissom apareció en medio de una selva armado con su sombrero, mochila y un aparato del tamaño de un móvil que le indicaba dónde había algo para acabar en un campamento donde se reune con Sara (Jorja Fox) y se besan. Qué romántico y qué buen final.

Grissom, te echaremos de menos y para el recuerdo queda esa gran frase de “las pruebas no mienten, las personas sí”.

Uno no puede pasar por la vida sin recibir algunas cosas que marquen. Ya no sé cuantos cientos o miles de impactos publicitarios recibimos al día, cuántos emails, cuántos feeds leemos, cuántas cosas nos cuentan, cuántas cosas leemos en libros, cuántas citas nos llegan, cuántas… El caso es que he tenido un puente en el que he leído varios libros, he visto varias películas, he leído varias citas que me han llamado a la atención y os lo quiero compartir.

Todo empezó con una frase que oí en la película ‘Extrañas coincidencias‘ (aunque la frase es de Blaise Pascal:

El universo es una esfera infinita cuyo centro está en todas partes y su circunferencia en ningún lugar.

Es una de esas frases que hacen que mi vida pulse la tecla ‘pause’ y mi cabeza sólo se concentre en esa frase. Aunque, en la misma película hay otra frase que me produce la misma sensación, y esta frase es muy irónica. Es la contestación que uno de los co-protagonistas le dice a uno que defiende que el petróleo es bueno porque nos lo ha dado Dios; atención a la respuesta:

Dios también nos ha dado tu cerebro y parece que se ha estropeado a base de no usarlo.

Me quedo sin palabras después de una frase así… Por suerte para mí, en alguna conversación consigo sacarme frases de este tipo, que no dudo en apuntar y guardarme, en fin, puede que sea un freaky.

En la misma tarde que veía esa película, leí un libro sobre márketing político y uno de sus capítulos se centraba en la creación de leyendas. Apuntaba que una de las formas más sencillas de hacerlo es con la expresión “se dice que”, y ponía un ejemplo:

Se dice que Napoleón podía entrar en el campo de batalla más caótico y desordenado y encontrar el patrón para organizarse.

No dice que Napoleón tenía un gran ejército y bien formado, o que tenía un buen sistema de aprovisionamiento, sino que cuenta una historia, una fábula tal vez.

Pero, mi cerebro no se detuvo ahí. Dicen que el cerebro se distingue, y se distinguirá, de los ordenadores porque en él rige la ley del caos, y las conexiones cerebrales pueden dar lugar a combinaciones inimaginables. Pues de pronto, después del “se dice que”, vino a mi cabeza un gran actor de series que en su papel utiliza muchas veces esa expresión. Me refiero a Samuel L. Petersen en el papel de Grissom en el CSI. Grissom tiene una de mis frases favoritas:

Te pasas la vida buscando respuestas para ver si la siguiente pregunta puede cambiar algo que te haga un poco menos miserable. Pero…si se acaban las preguntas, no solo se acaban las respuestas, sino que se termina la esperanza…

A mí, como estudiante de periodismo (o periodista a secas, o cumunicador, o lo que sea), todo lo que tiene que ver con hacer preguntas me impacta, en primer lugar porque hago muchas. Yo sigo la premisa de Einstein:

Lo importante es no dejar de hacerse preguntas

Frase que puedo ligar a otra frase que recuerdo de Grissom:

Es mejor esperar para responder que dar una respuesta incorrecta

Porque, añadiría con otra frase suya (sólo si nos centramos en la respuesta a una pregunta):

Nunca hay dos oportunidades de causar una primera impresión

Empezar mintiendo es una muy mala forma de empezar.

No quiero ser muy pedante citando citas de otro o inventando reflexiones, pero creo que alguna vez es importante detenerse y centrarse en algo tan sencillo como son las frases que dicen algunos de los protagonistas de las principales series de televisión (salvo aquellas que sólo se dirigen a satisfacer un entretenimiento infantil con situaciones imposibles y enfermizas, o aquellas que sólo representan en pantalla las situaciones más ridículas que se podrían dar en una supuesta vida de ocio que nunca tendremos, la mayoría; me refiero a la mayoría de las series españolas, y algunas americanas, pero menos en proporción a las que llegan aquí; no niego que algunas series con un tono mayoritario humorístico aparecen grandes diálogos). En ‘CSI’, ‘El ala oeste de la Casa Blanca’, ‘The wyre’, ‘Lost’, ‘The office’, ‘Califonication’, ‘Weeds’,… Y en centenas y millares de películas que podemos ver con facilidad (salvo las de los domingos depués de comer XD), podemos deleitarnos (si se me permite la expresión) con grandes frases y diálogos, que son un nuevo tipo de literatura. Yo os insto a que os detengáis en esas palabras, que tan rápido se pueden ir, y que las apuntéis y las almacenéis en vuestras cabezas. No son necesarias para la vida cotidiana, pero dan un toque de color muy agradable.

Para terminar os voy a contar una curiosidad que vi en un dietario:

Sabía usted que un niño en edad de guardería sonríe más de 300 veces al día, mientras que un adulto sólo lo hace una media de…

Ha pasado más de un año desde la emisión del capítulo en Estados Unidos, y el hecho, consumado, era más que conocido por todos. Warrick Brown, el predilecto de Grissom, moría o era asesinado. ¡Era la auténtica bomba del CSI! Yo trataba de mantenerme ajeno a tan dolorosa pérdida, pues el ex ludópata era, junto al propio jefe del CSI (Las Vegas, claro), mi personaje favorito.

Así andaba yo tratando de evitar spoilers y mandangas, hasta que anoche, en el canal AXN, me encontré por casualidad con el episodio Gedda (el último de la octava temporada, pero eso no lo sabía cuando comencé a verlo) en español. El episodio era más que interesante: salía la vena rebelde de  Warrick y es víctima de una emboscada cuando intenta ir por libre a la caza de un asesino al que le seguía la pista desde hacía tiempo.

El malo, llamado Gedda, aparece bien rematado y Warrick, que aparece inconsciente y sin recuerdos en la escena del crimen, parece más que culpable. Evidentemente, Grissom podrá demostrar la inocencia de su pupilo favorito… Y así, hasta que llegamos a la escena final. En ese coche, con ese alto jerarca de la seguridad y ese Warrick víctima de un par de tiros. ¿Cuál no sería mi sorpresa cuando yo había oído, intentando no prestar mucha atención, que moría en un coche bomba?

Y allí estaba, quitado de escena en la “escena del crimen”, de una manera cruel y despiadada (aunque todo hay que decirlo, lo del doctor Kutner en House fue más demoledor). Una gran pérdida para los seguidores de CSI.

Descanse en paz, Warrick Brown. Sin ti, CSI no será lo mismo…

Too often, we write off vandalism as a minor occurrence, usually assuming it’s the result of teenagers with too much time on their hands. In fact, when reporting vandalism, even police are likely to dismiss it as a relatively harmless prank. However, ask those on the receiving end of this crime how “harmless” it is, and you’re likely to get a different answer. One recent example comes from South Huntsville residents living behind Grissom High School.

Sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday (August 29 and 30), vandals took out mailboxes at three homes on Blevins Gap Road, Willowbrook Drive, and Bridgewell. Seems fairly innocuous – until you see the damage that can be done by moving mailboxes from location to another (so to speak).

For example, this mailbox was removed from its post and relocated to the back window of the resident’s car.

While a mailbox through the back window of a parked car is bad, it wasn’t the only damage done by these vandals. A second mailbox was used to break through a homeowner’s livingroom window, as seen in the photo below.

It’s hard to believe how much damage a mailbox can do, but these vandals left quite an impression. All of these residents filed a police report, but it’s doubtful that anyone will be caught or charged – leaving residents (and insurance companies) to clean up the mess and pay for the damage. If you have any information or happened to see anything suspect that evening, please let the police know.

I’m a night owl, and I’m not just one of those teenagers who stay up late and just says they are. I really am. How do I know this? I will refer to a post my friend Michelle posted awhile ago. She talked about how she is a morning bird, and the morning just rejuvenates her. I’m the same way, just with night. To take a walk at night all alone for me is just the best. The night air, with still a hint of humidity, but cool enough to not be uncomfortable. I mean, I have been outside early in the morning, I mean who hasn’t had to bike to school before the sun rises? Okay well maybe those of you who live more than 2 miles from your school, but then at the least walked to the bus stop? Okay, got a few more of you on board with that one.

I have to interrupt this blog my telling you that today is Grissom’s birthday. He is now 2 years old. I am now sitting outside, and he crawled under my perched legs and then jumped up onto the patio furniture and is now giving himself a bath next to me. I need to capture this moment, YES, PICTURE TIME!!

Yes, we are kissing. I forgot to give him his birthday kiss earlier. I’m also sorry for the HORRIBLE lighting, but hey, I’m outside, and it’s 11 o’clock at night, what do you expect.

Okay, now back to the night owl stuff. Okay, sorry Grissom distracted me. I have nothing. Well hey, it’s a post, right? Better than nothing?

-The road to success is always underconstruction

Do you care if students in South Huntsville are successful? Does it matter if the city’s public school system meets or exceeds national standards? For some folks the answer depends on whether or not they have kids or grandchildren in the school system, today. The reality is that the issue affects most, if not all, homeowners – regardless of whether or not they have kids, or have kids in public schools.

There have been statistics quoted which indicate approximately 40 percent of residents in South Huntsville have school-aged children. If that is correct, then that leaves a clear majority without kids in the public school system – and the perception is that many of these people are not interested in supporting neighborhood schools. Hopefully, that is perception and not reality.

After all, many of those who currently own a home in South Huntsville made the purchase based in some part on the likelihood that their home would hold or increase in value over time. And it could be argued that the “value” of that property is supported in great part by the quality of the school system in which that home or neighborhood is located. If that’s true (Realtors, please chime in and confirm), then there’s good news for homeowners in South Huntsville. A recent article in The Huntsville Times revealed that students in Huntsville City high schools beat the state and national average for ACT test scores (a standardized test often used as part of college acceptance guidelines). The national average is 21.1 and the state average for Alabama is 20.3 – based on a score of 36 total possible points.

Huntsville students’ average score was 21.9 with 1,100 junior and senior high school students taking the test. Although the score beat state and national stats, the city’s average was down nearly a full point from the previous year. Comparatively, Madison City students (over 600, all from one high school – Bob Jones) went up a little for a score of 23.8.

It’s good to see North Alabama school systems do well, but as a homeowner in a particular area, it’s better to see your neighborhood’s school excel. Obviously, Madison City has only one school, while Huntsville has seven. Unfortunately, the article did not break out average test scores by school. So, we went back to another revealing statistic that helps point to the success of students at individual schools.

During the same school year that Huntsville high school students beat national averages for the ACT, they also collectively brought home more than $28 million in scholarship money, according to an article in The Huntsville Times. We asked school board member, Dr. Jeannie Robinson to get a break-down of those numbers by schools, and were not surprised to see Grissom students bubble to the top.

Here’s a quick look at how that $28 million in scholarships and monetary awards was divided based on:

School: the number of graduates; the number of students receiving offers; and the total scholarship money

Grissom: 432 grads; 214 offers; and $13,006,028.00
Huntsville: 369
grads; 141 offers; and $8,311,112.00
Butler: 87 grads; 54 offers; and $ 670, 994.00
Columbia: 111 grads; 19 offers; and $1,471,268.00
Johnson: 134 grads; 61 offers; and $2,550,110.00
Lee: 161 grads; 90 offers; and $2,393,474.00
New Century: 45 grads; 16 offers; and $ 381,100.00

We also looked up the number of National Merit Scholars:

Grissom had 28 National Merit Scholars. Out of that group, 11 were Commended Merit Students, and 18 were National Merit Finalists. In addition there was one National Achievement Finalist.

Huntsville High had nine National Merit Scholars. Out of that group, five were Commended Merit Students, and four were National Merit Finalists.

Johnson had one National Achievement Finalist.

Lee had one National Merit Finalist and one National Commended Achievement Student.

There were none for the other Huntsville schools. (Although we could not access scholarship amounts for Bob Jones High School in Madison, we did confirm that the school had five National Merit Scholars.)

What do these numbers mean? Ultimately, it signifies that Huntsville City Schools have smart kids that perform well. Specifically, Grissom continues to be one of the stronger top performing schools in academics and that reputation is a large reason for homebuyers with school-aged children to move into South Huntsville. They want their kids to enjoy the benefits of a strong public education that can still be found in Grissom. That desire to live in Grissom’s school district means that current homeowners have a better chance to see their property values thrive. But that’s also the reason that every homeowner in South Huntsville should continue to care about the performance of students in our neighborhood schools.

Not to preach (especially to the choir), but protecting our schools is part of preserving the investments we have in our homes – which for middle-class America, is often the largest investment we own.

A revista TV Guide confirmou que a franquia CSI terá um crossover entre as três séries na proxima temporada, ele vai girar e torno do personagem de CSI Las Vegas, Professor Ray Langston, interpretado por Laurence Fishburne. A história vai começar em Miami, segue para Nova York e termine em Vegas.

Não será o primeiro Crossover entre as franquias, o primeiro aconteceu em 2005 envolvendo as versões de Nova York e Miami e recentemente foi feito um envolvendo CSI Las Vegas e a série Without a Trace. A ideia dos produtores é além de aumentar a audiência dos programas, é melhorar a imagem do chatinho personagem de Fishburne, que teve a difícil tarefa de substituir Grissom, e que não agradou os fãs na sua primeira temporada como integrante da equipe de Las Vegas.

O episódio crossover triplo vai ao ar em novembro.

Puesto 1: Charlie Sheen

Hace no  mucho tiempo se ha dado a conocer a través de la revista TV Guide la lista de los 10 actores/actrices mejor pagados de las series norteamericanas. Y aunque no hay demasiadas sorpresas está bien recordar quienes son los personajes más caros de la televisión.

En el primer lugar está ya un veterano de la pequeña pantalla como es Charlie Sheen que cobra nada más y nada menos que 875.000 dólares por un episodio de su serie “Dos hombres y medio”.

Si el bueno de Grissom no hubiera abandonado la serie “CSI” se alcanzaría en segundo lugar ya que ganaba la friolera de 600.000 dólares por episodio pero como no finalizó la temporada no ha contabilizado en este ranking. Es por eso que el segundo puesto lo ocupa otro conocido: Kiefer Sutherland de la serie “24” que gana 550.000 por cada capítulo.

En los puestos tres, cuatro, cinco y seis existe un empate ya que todos cobran 400.000 dólares por episodio. Aquí encontramos a Hugh Laurie de “House”, a Mariska Hargitay y Chris Meloni de “Ley y Orden”, a las cuatro protagonistas de “Mujeres desesperadas” (Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman y Marcia Cross) y también aunque se trata solo de animación, a los dobladores de la serie “Los Simpsons”.

En el lugar siete está Zach Braff de “Scrubs” que cobra 350.000 dólares por episodio, y en el ocho un doble empate entre dos amigos de serie: Tina Fey y Alec Baldwin en “Rockefeller Plaza” y 300.000 dólares por capitulo. Para finalizar los diez puestos tenemos a dos compañeros de franquicia aunque no se escenario, por un lado en el noveno puesto Marg Helgenberger de “CSI” que gana 390.000 dólares y en el decimo David Caruso de su homóloga “CSI Miami” con un salario de 375.000 dólares.

La verdad es que este ranking tampoco sorprende a nadie, ya que son las serie más conocidas y longevas tanto en Estados Unidos como en nuestro país, pero las cifras de algunos de ellos parecen demasiado excesivas, ¿qué os parecen?

The noun, not the verb. My verb is unfuckwithable. In keeping with the South African track and field authority, I am submitting extensive proof that I’m more or less XX.

I don’t have a gynecologist. No way I’m paying someone to do what I charge everyone else to do. So I just picked up a skanky goth chick at the Hot Topic and had her take a look. And she assured me that I do not have a spineless trouser cactus. However, she did say I have the tastiest beef curtains she’s ever seen, and that no one’s ever talked dirty to her before, and that I should call her next week.

Hormones are an indicator of gender. To prove that I’m hormonal, I have submitted several pages of evidence. Exhibit A: The Randominatrix blog. Exhibit B: A complete panel from a certified endocrinologist, attesting that my lab values of estradiol, testosterone, progesterone, DHEA-S, total T-4, total T-3, free T-4 and free T-3 are within the normal parameters for a woman of my age and activity level. Exhibit C: Testimony from my husband and coworkers, attesting that I am an absolute bitch all the fucking time.

My normal psychologist has been on a medical leave for several weeks and the woman who is filling in in his absence declined to make a formal report. So I sent a friend of mine to go see my regular guy. Apparently, the alcoholism and schizotypal symptoms that arose about the time we met have escalated. He’s been babbling incoherently and trying to kill himself. But he did manage to draw a picture of me in crayon, which depicts a howling, blood-drenched, buxom gargoyle with fangs for claws and stylish shoes. The enormous tits on the drawing are, I think, indisputable proof that he considers me female.

That fat, pasty bitch with the Clairol 618 hair offered to be my internal medicine expert. But then we found out that they mean inside the torso, not inside the sweet, cozy flesh glove that allows me to live expensively. So I went to the local college to find a medical student. All I could find was a cosmetology student. And even though I had to use monosyllabic words and flash cards with drawings, I did get her to admit that, as far as she knows, I’m a chick on the inside too. But she still believes that it’s what’s on the outside that counts.

I got two gender experts. The first is a tranny named Pepper who says I’m passable. The second is a geneticist who verified that I am, indeed female.

Wait a second… If I’d just submitted the DNA evidence, wouldn’t all the other shit have been irrelevant? Why don’t they just do that for that for that African runner? Just pluck one of her ball hairs, send it to a lab with a money order for $200, and wait for Grissom to call. If the test comes back XX, shut your jizzhole. And if it comes back XY, then do the other bullshit just to be safe. (Some women actually are XY, dumbass.) Or better yet, just leave her alone. And leave me alone. And I’ll leave you alone. No, wait. I won’t leave you alone because you’re an asshole.

Si può fare un’autopsia ed affermare, come fa G.Grissom in CSI, che “La verità è bellezza e la bellezza è verità”? Si può cercare la verità non solo nel proprio lavoro, che è esattamente questo, scoprire chi e perchè ha fatto del male a qualcuno, ma anche in tutto quello che il proprio lavoro significa, sapendo che la verità è altro e che la bellezza rimanda ad altro?
Mi ha sempre colpito CSI, pur amante dei polizieschi e di tutta la serie delle varianti (con l’eccezione di New York), perchè Grissom aveva la capacità di cogliere la ferita del reale e di non fermarsi mai lì, ma sapeva andare oltre.
Non so se ritornerà: molto prosaicamente, non gli bastavano più (non a Grissom, ma all’attore che lo interpretava) 600.000 $ a puntata.
Ma per quello che ha fatto e ci ha fatto vedere, grazie.

A atriz interpretava Sara Sidle até a oitava  temporada quando decidiu sair da série. Ontem,  Jorja foi confirmada pelo canal CBS e pela produtora executiva de CSI, Carol Mendelsohn, não só para a estreia da décima temporada, mas também para outros quatro episódios.

Essa não é primeira participação especial da atriz após sua saída. Em 2008, esteve nos dois primeiros episódios da nona temporada e em 2009 para a despedida de William Petersen como Grissom. Também há planos para o ator que faz o par romântico de Sara, porém ainda não foram divulgados.

 A décima temporada de CSI estreia nos Estados Unidos, dia 24 de setembro.

So today i’m blogging for one reason, and that will be at the end. For now I get to ramble on about nothing of importance. I have no idea what to ramble on about. How about rambling? Rambling is a way to drag somthing out so it will last longer. One might do it on a date to spend more time with the person. Another reason one might ramble is because they are nervous. I do this alot, but that is not why I am rambling right now. According to www.urbandictionary.com ramble means: Going on and on about a stupid and worthless subject that no ones interested in anyway

Okay, moving forward

That is my cat, Grissom hugging a moose, burt. I took this while talking to Nora (found at www.junkinmahcranium.wordpress.com ). Nora also gave me the moose!

No excuses. I haven’t blogged in awhile. Its summer, and I had surgery, and have been feeling like crap, and basicly, just haven’t felt any of my “creative urges.” To tell you the truth, I’m only blogging now because I feel a little guilty for not blogging. Is it bad to feel guilty for not writing on a website, that only has 216 hits? I guess it probly is. Gosh darnit.

So getting the wisdom teeth out went good I guess. I’ve been pretty sore for awhile, and drowsy from the medicine. I’m not good at taking naps unless I’m puking, fever sick, so I’ve just been going to bed early and sleeping in a little later. The actual surgery was amazing. It was like a different world. Probly from all the drugs and stuff, but I kind of understand why people like to get high. Don’t worry, I’m not going to start doing drugs, but I understand why one might do them. I don’t think its worth the side effects though. I told them I’m scarred of needles, even though I’m not as bad as I used to be, and they gave me laughing gas to get through one shot so I would be really tired when they did the IV. I’m really glad I told them that, cuz once I came to and was on in the car I found 5 spots where they tried to get an IV started, If I would of been awake I would of been freaking, just cuz i hate having more than 1 poke, and my mom wasn’t allowed in the room.

My cat, Grissom got hurt on Monday. I don’t know exactly what happened. All I know is that he has a wound on his right back leg, and he was limping Monday-Wed. He’s fine now, and licking it alot. I didn’t find the actual wound until this morning, cuz he was hissing at me when I got close.

Right now I’m hot, sweaty, drowsy, and in pain. I have grapes ready on farmtown. (I’m addicted to that game) So i’m going to go. Sorry Yeah its kind of a short post. But i’m glad I got this much out. I thought it would end up being like a 75 word blog, instead of a 400ish word blog!

Darth Maul, Heroes is bringing great stuff

I am still recovering of the Robert Knepper addition to the Heroes staff and now we hear that the guy who had the role of Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I is also in the table; The guy is Ray Park and he will take the role of one of the guys of the Carnival and according to Ausellio he might be the “Knife Thrower”.

I’m very impressed with the quality of actors Heroes is bringing, it makes me believe that not even Kristen Bell was in the same level that all of these new actors.

But that’s not all. Another actress is being recruited for the deaf love interest for one of our guys (I bet it is Peter) the girl is Deanne Bray, this totally fixes with the casting call since Bray is actually deaf; she so talented she’s been in CSI (you have to remember she was Grissom’s “friend” for one episode); The L World and her main role in Sue Thomas F.B.Eye.

This is so so awesome, it freaks me out so many good actors in this new stage but Bryan Fuller and Tim Kring must have something in hands, all these actors are awesome, awesome.  I wanna see them now!

But let’s see them acting:

An epic war is about to start now: CSI vs Grey’s Anatomy vs Fringe.

Yes, Fringe is moving to Tuesdays 9pm against the blockbusters tv shows CSI and Grey’s Anatomy. But that’s not all the news I got from Fringe. The entire production of Fringe is leaving their US facilities to move to Canada (X-files worked their first five seasons on Canada as well) and a lot of the behind the scenes staff won’t be a part of the new stage of Fringe. This moving is due to budget reductions in the WB (the producer of Fringe).

Another news come from Kirk Acevedo (Agent Charlie Francis) that is not coming back for a second season of Fringe. Well I can’t wait for the Nielsen battle between the CBS, ABC and FOX, this is with Supernatural and The Office out of the Picture, all I can say is I can’t wait, I just can’t to see who’s the tuesdays winner (let’s face it CSI is downhill now)

Gilbert “Gil” Arthur Grissom, interpretato da William Petersen, è uno dei protagonisti di CSI: Las Vegas, (l’unico vero e solo CSI, gli altri due sono solo brutte copie!), dopo 8 stagioni, con alti e bassi, purtroppo con il decimo episodio della nona stagione (attualmente in onda su sky) ha deciso di abbandonare la squadra…o meglio Petersen ha deciso, con sommo dispiacere di tutti i fan, di voler solamente produrre gli episodi e di non parteciparvi più…

Grisson era il personaggio portante della serie, il mentore di tutta la squadra, l’uomo saggio che aveva una risposta o citazione ad ogni cosa, la sua perdita è una ferita che difficilmente verrà rimarginata…

Al suo posto hanno aggiunto un nuovo personaggio presentato nello stesso episodio, ma a mio avviso non credo che riuscirà neppure ad avvicinarsi alla gradezza del personaggio di Gil!!
Senza di lui la serie perderà moltissimo.

Il suo ultimo episodio doveva essere qualcosa di grande e invece è uscito di scena quasi in sordina, ha raccattato le sue cose dopo aver catturato un serial killer ed è uscito dal laboratorio come se nulla fosse…
L’unica cosa positiva è che ha ritrovato Sara (altro membro della squadra che se n’è andato verso la metà dell’ottava stagione, altra grave predita) la sua amata, un amore cresciuto e sviluppatosi molto lentamente e reso pubblico solo alla fine della settima, la quale lo aveva lasciato per allontanarsi da una vita che l’aveva quasi annientata…

Che altro dire se non MI MANCHERAI GRISSOM!

Speriamo almeno di poterti rivedere in qualche episodio!

Segundo o jornal carioca…

Os fãs de Gil Grissom, de “CSI”, podem estar perto de rever o personagem. Seu intérprete, William Petersen, confirmou à imprensa que uma versão cinematográfica do seriado está em produção. A perspectiva do filme teria livrado o entomologista de morrer na série.

O ator William Petersen, mais conhecido como Gil Grissom na série investigativa CSI, revelou em uma entrevista que o sonho de muitos fãs vai se tornar realidade, a série vai ganhar  um longa-metragem. Fato que não surpreende já que séries como Arquivo-X e recentemente Sex and City que foi um enorme sucesso, também tiveram o mesmo destino.

Segundo Willian Petersen atualmente eles estão buscando uma história certa para contar no filme, e que isso não deve demorar muito, já que nas próprias palavras dele, todos não querem esperar a série terminar ou o seu personagem estiver com 90 anos.

Petersen saiu da série recentemente e foi substituído por Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus de Matrix), mesmo com essa grande mudança a série mantém uma boa audiência, mas como é costume os produtores da série realmente não vão esperar o final da série, para arriscar fazer um filme. A série perdeu pelos menos para mim a graça depois da saída da personagem Sara e piorou muito depois da morte de Warrick, mas depois de Sex and the City, acredito que tudo pode acontecer e quem sabe um filme com uma boa trama seja capaz de agradar e trazer novos fãs para CSI.
