Check out this link for the latest and full picture review of the 00 Raiser model kit… it seems that this kit can really pose the Trans-Am Raiser pose after all! The GN Drive is connected in a different way compared to other version of 00 Raiser model… making it possible for the GN Drive to stay while the Raiser system rotates itself. I must say this kit is very well made in all the detail aspects… but same goes with others, I do think that this kit is slightly weird in the balance of size. The body is just too small compared with the portion of leg… maybe the leg needs to be in this size in order to support the whole weight of the model? Or is it maybe because it is needed in this size to house the GN Condenser in it?

The front and rear view of the model kit… as you can obviously see that the waist area, where the portion is totally distorted, the width of the hip is well greater than the width of the waist and the body… making it kind of imbalance. Some people complain that the waist armor doesn’t cover up the plastic of the waist frame… allowing it to show out obviously and it is indeed irritating…

Here’s a picture of comparison between HG, PG and 1/100… obviously HG looks the best among them in terms of overall balance and design…

Besides the imbalance body portion, the next important thing that annoy everyone else is the mobility of the GN Drive. The first picture shows the greatest range it may extend, reasonably well… the second picture shows that the GN Drive can be turn to the front and back… great! But the third picture indicates that the GN Drive can not be rotated at all! Which means your Raiser will always pointing downward and you will not be able to pose the Trans-Am Raiser pose at all! OMG! The reason why it is impossible to turn the Raiser system was because the way BANDAI join the GN Drive to the shoulder…  you should be able to notice it by looking at the second picture…

This is rather a personal opinion… I do think that only the Strike Gundam PG arms can really consider as Perfect… where it really mimic the movement of real human hand. As for this kit, it seems more like a up-sized 1/100 to me… hope to see more sliding frame and armor in this region… anyway, great mobility here!

Well, although the leg is over-sized… the mobility here is awesome… I like the leg to be separated into 3 parts joint (5th picture), making it to be even more realistic. The rubber mat on the bottom of the leg is courtesy of the technology developed during the release of Gundam Astray Red Frame PG… it makes your model to stand well on smooth surface without slipping.

A very well designed 0 Raiser here… very detail compared to the HG model.

Well, overall the big hit from this kit will be the GN Condenser technology, where it will allow your Gundam to hold heavy weapon firmly and retaining its pose… which is really a problem everyone is facing over the years… next is the GN Drive which will light up and spins… the sliding inner frame also has some new technology in it. Check out the videos below for more detail. So, does this kit worth a buy? It really up to you to decide. I’m still sitting on the fence, waiting to see the box preview and also some other new review first before deciding whether to buy this PG kit or wait for the MG to release…

Wow! This is really a news! I owned a GN-X HG version, hoping to get a A-Laws Custom GN-X but I just don’t like the HG version at all… Hope that after this kit, BANDAI will soon release the A-Laws custom under MG as well… then I will definitely go for it! Further details is yet to be updated. Expected release date is January of 2010.

It’s been a great news for the release of 00 Raiser as PG model kits… and it is creating a great chaos out there for all the Gundam Fans… not just because of the price and the model itself, but also the preview picture shown and those preview model kit that had been made and modeled… many voice and opinion out there regarding this PG kit. Here are the official pictures of this model, it is expected to be release on 27 November 2009. I will talk about the preview pictures in future… meanwhile let’s enjoy some nice posing pictures of 00 Raiser PG here.

Most of Allelujah’s childhood is unknown. He somehow became an orphan and was used in the Human Reform League for experiments in the Human Reform League program. Experimentation led to a splitting of Allelujah’s personalities, bring a darker side out of the usually gentle man.

A series of events led him and others to be left adrift in space, and out of survival the darker half took over and killed all on board. It is possible this is when Allelujah was discovered by Celestial Being.

Like all of the other Gundam Meisters, he was selected by Veda to be a Meister, and maintains this position.

There are two halves of Allelujah’s personality due to the enhancing of his brain. The two halves differentiate by the calling of the darker half, ‘Hallelujah’ as well as Allelujah’s hair covering the left half of his face to reveal a gold coloured right eye.

The dominant personality is Allelujah, a decidedly kind and gentle person. When the rest of the Ptolemaios crew went to Earth, he chose to stay and help with maintenance. He doesn’t like to kill, and it often brings up a confrontation with his other half, such as when he was about to fire upon the HRL’s Super Soldier Facility.

Hallelujah on the other hand carries a strong survivalist view, kill or be killed. He will do anything in order to survive. When Allelujah is in conflict over what he should do, Hallelujah will offer to ‘take over’ Allelujah’s body so he won’t be so morally conflicted. Hallelujah has gone as far as to claim he is the embodiment of Allelujah’s desires, taking action when Allelujah’s morals get in the way.

Age: 20~21 (First Season)

Tieria seems rather stoic and distant, although also proud and arrogant. Constantly believing he has the best interests of Celestial Being in mind, he rarely acts out of impulse, and has little patience for the impertinent. To this end, he often clashes verbally with the other Gundam Meisters, as well as his “superior”, Sumeragi Lee Noriega, on topics ranging from insubordination to ideology. Tieria is often noted for being on an extremely high horse, looking down upon others. Tieria also shows an unnatural loyalty to Veda, the supercomputer of Celestial Being, which Tieria can directly interface with. This link between Tieria and Veda can explain Tieria’s holier-than-thou attitude, and his belief that he is a judge of the members of Celestial Being.Tieria is shown to also be rather intelligent, and capable of making competent snap decisions. His direct connection with Veda permits him to know more about Celestial Being than his fellow Meisters.

At the start of the series, he had an extremely rocky relationship with Setsuna; the former does not understand why the latter was chosen by Veda as a Gundam Meister, and believes Setsuna’s brash actions and random insubordination will breach the code of secrecy of Celestial Being. However, he eventually found more a common ground with Setsuna in their vehement dislike of Team Trinity, even going so far as to back him up when he decides to combat them; this unexpected move, along with the teamwork strategies used in the battle, surprises the rest of Celestial Being.

Recently, cracks in Tieria’s cold exterior have become prominent, showing a softer and more vulnerable side that contrasts greatly with the emotionless and superior Meister he seemed to be. After Lockon Stratos is injured protecting him from an enemy attack, Tieria displays a great amount of guilt and remorse. He angrily blames himself for Lockon’s injury, even going so far as to call himself unfit to be a Gundam Meister. Lockon comforts him, yet afterwards when Tieria regains his composure he reverts to his old habit of snapping at his comrades.

When UN Army forces attacked the Meisters, Tieria locked Lockon in his room to prevent him from entering the battle, saying to Allelujah that he will protect Lockon as he saved him. He becomes increasingly concerned when Lockon manages to join the fight, and later when he disappears chasing Ali Al-Saachez. Just like the others, he is seen crying when they realize Lockon has been killed.

Following the return of the three remaining Meisters to the Ptolemaios, Tieria takes his emotions out on Setsuna, blaming his being “slow” as the reason for Lockon’s death. Seeing this, Sumeragi breaks up the fight by promptly slapping Tieria across the face. Shortly afterwards, as Nadleeh is being repaired, he vows to Allelujah that he will fight back for Lockon’s sake, despite the former’s warning.

Soon after entering battle with the force of GN-X units plus Alejandro Corner’s mobile armour, Alvatore, Tieria activates Nadleeh’s Trans-Am system; however, he soon loses a limb and the Trans-Am is deactivated, leaving him vulnerable to the two GN-X units that attack him, one of them being piloted by Patrick Colasour. The two fire at each other simultaneously; while Tieria’s shot destroys the GN-X and disables Patrick, Nadleeh is reduced to a mere torso.

Tieria is last seen in the cockpit of the Nadleeh, struggling to eject his GN Drive before losing consciousness, saying he is “going to where Lockon is”.

However, Tieria is confirmed to appear in season 2, piloting the Seravee Gundam.

Though he says he has no exerience with mobile suits, it seems he knows much more than he says he knows. In episode 3, he is told that he only needs to distract the enemy A-Laws, but he ends up shooting a couple units down. (even going as far as to snipe the head off of one)

He seems to be passing information from Celestial Being along to the Kataron resistance group.

Setsuna F. Seiei is the main protagonist of the story in Gundam 00. He’s a Gundam Meister of Celestial Being. In season 1, he pilots GN-001 Gundam Exia and later to GN-0000 00 Gundam in season 2. In the movie, he pilots 00 Qan[T]~-start-25-stop
His name could also be denoted to state his personality. Translated it could mean To obtain the moment.

Setsuna is taciturn, introverted, and righteous against war. He believes there are key disturbances that affect the world from coming together in peace and harmony. He labeled specific people and/or forces as a source of conflict towards the world’s path to peace. He has little tolerance for diplomats and politicians, believing that their negotiations only prolong wars and cause more strife (due to personal experience). He’s got a vendetta to settle and his past battle experiences stirs old bitter feelings, increasing his combat potential as a beneficial side effect. Though a self proclaimed atheist, he often questions the motivations of God with people and worldly events. He idolizes the Gundams so much that he wants to embody Exia as himself, a Gundam. He’s a traditionalist in honor and a martyr for his cause in Celestial Being.
In a letter to Marina Ismail, he revealed more in depth into his feelings and thinking. Setsuna wanted to understand the lesser aspects of humanity. He wanted to know why the world is filled with people with innate dark intentions and inconsiderate of other people’s suffering. He wanted to find these answers with his Gundam in hopes to bring mutual understanding and peace.
After a 5 year hiatus, Setsuna has taken an unofficial role as the leader of the Gundam Meisters. He’s now able to assert and express his feelings to people without reservation. Setsuna’s ideals are still the same, but his recent experiences lead him to believe the importance of self change and the need to fight for a better future. His determination and strong self confidence motivates and inspires people around him. He’s more understanding and compromising, but also capable making hard-but necessary-decisions that would lead people to dislike him. He has no problems making life defining decisions for other people when they can’t make the choice and would kill if necessary.

Setsuna is skilled in many ways of war. Trained by Ali Al-Saachez at a young age, Setsuna already knew how to work with a wide range of firearms, close-quarter-combat, use of explosives, infiltration, and other areas of guerrilla warfare by the age of 10. As Celestial Being’s Gundam Meister, he uses his former combat training in his KPSA days to reflect Exia’s combat style. He’s been trained by Celestial Being to know limited MS technical skills to maintain and repair his Gundam. His 5 year hiatus with Celestial Being didn’t dull his piloting skills at all, his MS combat capabilities were refined as his MS CQC skills and aiming showed improvement. Due to the power of 00 Gundam’s concentrated GN particles with Trans-Am Riser, Setsuna’s brain has been gradually enhanced to utilize quantum brainwaves. He’s able to sense quantum brainwaves near him and hone in. Eventually, he naturally evolves into humanity’s first true/genuine Innovator.
Setsuna’s Innovator capabilities aren’t completely defined as he’s the first naturally evolved Innovator. It has yet to be proven can he communicate with Veda or Celestial Being technology like Innovades can; he can anticipate movements and actions of his opponents and sense impending danger from far distances. Until there is greater clarity, much of his Innovator capabilities is based on observation and speculation.

Taken from this awesome gallery, where more pictures are available. Looks like while the GN Drive things themselves don’t rotate, the Raiser wings can, in fact, move. I’m very happy to see this and have to see the finished kit is looking better now, enough that I might considering picking it up some time down the road.

Before his eyes, his twin* Sulu struck down enemy MSs one by one. {*lit. “same type/pattern” it sounds horrible in English so I’m going w/ twin}

Meanwhile, Leif was securing Brun’s cooperation and heading to the Gundam he had summoned.
Leif vaguely understands that he has to remove the limiter on [Brun's?] special Innovade abilities. {not so sure about this sentence}
That is, the limiter put on [Innovades] so that they can live in human society.

The scene returns to Katharon. Lars attacks them while they’re resting after dealing with the first wave of the fight with the Federation.
Lars aims and shoots only at the Innovades.
“Pretend humans have no right to live,” Lars declares
And Terishia objects, “Is there such thing as a life without merit!”
Terishira shields Brad, an Innovade, from a bullet with his body.
Sulu rushes over to Terishira, whose life was saved by a bulletproof vest.
“Same face…”
Terishira hastily lies, “My sister! I’m your older brother!”
Moved, Sulu embraces him.

At that time, Leif finally reaches the Gundam he saw in his dream, “1 Gundam.”
“What are you going to do with such a dangerous thing?”
Hixar Fermi appeared.
Leif explained that he was on a mission.
“Won’t you tell me about that mission? Beside Pain.”
Hixar [said and] turned his gun on Leif.

Godzilla Final Wars hatte ich mir ja neulich noch angesehen. Und da mir der Film ja recht gut gefallen hat habe ich mir auch gleich die DVD dazu gekauft. Doch bei dieser Box liegt auch noch der aller erste Godzilla dabei in Versionen. Einmal das Japanische Original und dann noch die Amerikanische und Deutsche Version. Bin mal gespannt wo da so die Unterschiede liegen.

Nachdem ich mir ja erst kürzlich die ersten Star Trek Filme auf DVD gekauft habe. Dachte ich mir mache ich das bei Star Wars doch auch mal. Ich habe mir aber nur Episode 4-6 geholt. Da ich die viel besser finde als Episode 1-3. Was mich an Episode 1-3 stört? Nun zum einen gibt es in Episode 1-3 viel weniger Weltraumschlachten als in Episode 4-6. Ausserdem finde ich, das es viel zu viele Lichtschwert Kämpfe gibt.

Nachdem die Spiele Messe in Essen ja nicht so prall war. Habe ich mir vom Rest Geld die erste Gundam 00 Box gekauft. Eine wirklich sehr tolle Box mit sehr tollen Extras. Habe mir die DVDs auch schon angesehen. Und beim zweiten mal gucken macht die Serie sogar noch viel mehr Spaß. Nur die Deutsche Synchro hat mir leider so gar nicht gefallen.

Ich hoffe das beez auch so schnell wie möglich die zweite Staffel nach Deutschland bringt. Denn die wird dann erst richtig interessant.

Ich war sogar richtig überrascht als ich gesehen habe das die DVDs sogar die Japanische Tonspur besitzen. Ich ging immer davon aus das da nur die Deutsch Tonspur drauf sei. Naja umso besser so kann ich mir die Serie auch mal auf Japanisch ansehen.

Und auch beim dritten mal gucken macht die Serie immer noch Spaß. Vor allen da ich die Serie zum ersten mal in der richtigen reihen folge geguckt habe.

Aber ich kann schon verstehen warum sich viele Fans über die DVDs aufregen. Ich wollte die Serie zuerst auf meinen DVD Player ansehen. Doch nach ein paar Minuten hatte ich immer merkwürdige verpixlugen im Bild besonders wenn der Übergang von einer Szene zur anderen stattfand. Dann als ich die DVD in meinen DVD Recorder eingelegt habe hatte ich diesen Fehler nicht. Das ist auch die erste DVD bei der mein DVD Player versagt. Ansonsten ist das Gerät echt Top.

Darüber hinaus stört mich das DVD Menü ungemein. Egal auf was man klickt man 4-5 Sekunden warten bis alle Bilder geladen sind. Das kann nach einer weile schon recht Nerv tötend sein. Aber ich will mich ja nicht zu viel darüber aufregen. Das haben andere ja schon zu genüge getan.

Auch bei Anime-Versand gekauft Phantom The Animation. Eigentlich hatte ich ja gedacht das mir der Anime gut gefallen wird. Eine kurzhaarige Profi Killerin? Was man will man mehr habe ich mir gedacht. Doch leider hat mir dieser Anime so gar nicht gefallen. Das fängt bei Charakteren an geht hin zur Story und hört bei den Zeichnungen auf. Es passt einfach nix zusammen. Die Charaktere sind einfach langweilig in Szene gesetzt genau wie die Story und beide haben genau so wenig Tiefgang. Selbst die Brutalität ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Aber was will man von einer 3 Teiligen OVA erwarten? Vielleicht ist die TV Serie ja besser? Die Zeichnungen scheinen es jedenfalls schon mal zu sein.

Auch bei amazon im Angebot gewesen. Vol. 5 von Card Captor Sakura habe mir die DVD auch schon angesehen. Und wie die DVDs davor auch schon hat mir diese auch sehr gut gefallen. Jetzt fehlt mir nur noch Vol. 6. Das ist dann leider auch schon die letzte DVD.

Endlich Iczer One auf DVD! Ich besitze Iczer One ja Bereits auf VHS. Aber die DVD davon wollte ich auch immer haben. Einfach auch aus dem Grund das ich gar keinen VHS Rekorder mehr habe. Die DVD habe ich mir auch schon angesehen. Und Iczer One ist einfach super gemacht. Ich liebe diese alten Anime einfach. Vor allen sind die älteren Anime meistens Detail getreuer als die ganzen neuen Heut zu Tage.

Dark Side Blue hat mir aber leider gar nicht gefallen. Wieder eine kurze OVA Serie wo man, nachdem man sie gesehen hat, mehr fragen als antworten hat.

Auch bei ebay habe ich mal wieder das ein oder andere Schnäppchen gemacht.

Wobei das Kaufen und Verkaufen bei ebay immer weniger Spaß macht. Neuerdings scheint man bei ebay sogar nicht mal mehr die Versandkosten angeben zu dürfen. Besonders im Bereich DVDs. Man macht sowieso schon keinen Gewinn mehr wenn man was ebay Verkauft. (Angebotsgebühren usw…) Und jetzt soll ich auch noch selber für den Versand aufkommen? Da kann ich die Sachen ja gleich Verschenken. Klar kann man jetzt sagen man gibt an “Nur Abholung” und die Versandkosten schreibt man dann in die Beschreibung dazu. Aber wer liest das schon? Ich sehe da jetzt schon eine welle an Negativer und Neutraler Bewertungen auf uns zu kommen.

Wie dem auch sei. Von Key the Metal Idol fehlt mir jetzt nur noch Vol. 3 damit ich mir die Serie endlich Komplett ansehen kann.

Mal wieder ein Gratis Manga durch die AnimeY Punkte. Gratis Manga sind doch echt die besten Manga.

Auch eine Maya Ibuki Figur habe ich mir bei ebay mal wieder gekauft. ca. 2 Euro habe ich mir das Schmuckstück kosten lassen. Und somit hätte ich auch diese Figur jetzt 2 mal.

Batman und Superman gegen Sub Zero? Das musste ich sehen. Und da habe ich mir einfach mal kurzer Hand das Spiel gekauft.

Habe das Spiel schon ein paar Gespielt und es macht schon Spaß. Vor allem ist es nicht so schwer wie Street Fighter 4. Auch die Erfolge sind etwas großzügiger verteilt.

Nur die Erfolge sind im 2 Teil wesentlich Zeit Intensiver als beim ersten Teil.

As far as models go, an MG GN-X was announced. {pretty sure everyone’s already seen this}

At the New Year’s Eve event a special animation with new scenes will be screened. {presumably for the movie, not the SEs}

This month includes 00N’s prologue.
P136-141 Beginning with staff comments from Director Mizushima, and explanation of 00N which will be serialized from here on.

00N is without a specific protagonist, or a single overarching story.
It depicts events in the world of “Gundam 00″ without [following] a timeline or prescribed [order].

Hobby Japan:

The new series “00V War Chronicle (senki)” starts this month.

The title of the first installment is “Gun x Sword”
*No relation to the anime of the same name.

The story takes place after the last episode [of the series]. A certain project is progressing at Jupiter,
and Ian is working on new Gundams near Earth.
The 00 is also being modified to suit Setsuna, having awoken as an Innovator.

But, presently CB is low on both materials and funds, so Ian’s having a hard time.
Upon asking Veda!Tieria about it, he thought about trying to manipulate stock prices, but
if he over did it, they’d be reduced to a “simply criminal organization.”
Presently, only one GN Drive has been transplanted into the 00 from one of the other units. {forgot the last part :\}
A GN condenser is taking the place of the other drive.
While the 00 can start up, Trans-am is impossible.
And so a test of the “00 Gundam Seven Sword/G” armament was undertaken.
The new equipment being the GN Sword II Buster Blaster. {I’m being more of a dumbass than usual today}
“An enemy”
An approaching GN-XIII./A GN-XIII approaches.
“They might have seen that beam from earlier. I’ll destroy it.”
Setsuna destroys the enemy craft with the GN Sword II Buster Blaster.
They can manage combat for the time being, but Ian is fully aware of the fact that they need to hurry and develop new machines.

*They casually establish that in the finale of the TV series, they lost at least two GN drives.

[EDIT] k, so apparently the origin of that last line isn’t clear, anything by an asterisk like that (that doesn’t correspond to some sort of note I’m making on the side) is one of kouryakukan’s comments. While it certainly means that the statement isn’t 100% true/reliable, remember that the above is just a summary so it’s possible that the text has more details to further support the statement that s/he left out for brevity’s sake. I believe the missing drives were the two that belonged to the 00 in S2 (i.e. Exia’s and 0 Gundam’s) because of the phrasing here: “Presently, only one GN Drive has been transplanted into the 00 from one of the other units.” Shit, I left off that last part… fixing. Anyway, I think because they had to snag a drive from one of the other Gundams neither of the 00’s original drives survived (sure, you could argue that Exia R2 is a different unit, but I think it’d be phrased differently if they replaced the one from the Exia). Also it’s the 00, as in 00 Gundam, not the Qan[T].

Nothing much to say about it .. its Danny Choo trying to imitate the Singaporean accent/slang! With a few mei-dos! =3 After AFA09, i was amazed to find out, not only was it a big event for otaku, but a massive culture shock for those who didnt know what the AFA was all about. Well, first time for everything! Apparently the newbies were shocked to see so many otakus in Singapore, and brain-freezed when they saw the maid cafe! Coz they didnt know how to react to it! ROFL. Looks like otaku culture is not globally known yet in some areas of the world. Either that, or these ‘normals’ have not been surfing the internet right! Haha!

The staff that  helped pull off AFA09 did a great job, even when they were shocked by Otaku Culture. Even when saying “I am trying to keep an open mind..” .. their minds mostly froze about how a big deal anime conventions can be! Its like that quote “Humans tend to fear what they do not understand!” .. enough bickering about the mortals .. they can take their own time to accept otakuism and evolve or something.
