The annual month of NME Shockwaves shows have been announced for February 2o1o, with Miike Snow and Hadouken! two of the top names involved. The remaining slots will be taken by Simian Mobile Disco, Yeasayer, Girls and New Young Pony Club.

The shows will run up to the annual NME Awards held at the 02 Academy Brixton from the 24th, with more acts to be announced at a later date.

Un post un peu spécial, spécial electrorock en fait. Culture Prophet, à l’origine un duo qui a commencé en 2005, c’est maintenant un trio. Grosse saturation, comme dans “Hustler”, la track qui représente bien le type de son qu’ils font. Culture Prophet, sont américains. Petite description qui vient tout droit de la fan page facebook (maintenant officielle, l’ancienne qui ne l’était pas à été supprimé) : “The band’s live sets are raucious, sonic slabs of sound that guarantee all-night dancing, drinking, and debauchery.” J’oubliais, ils sortent un nouvel EP dans le mois à venir et sera disponible sur iTunes, emusic et Amazon.

On continue, et ça faisait longtemps, avec des Belges. Oui les Belges ont vraiment une scène electro de fou, la preuve avec les trois prochains groupes qui suivent : The Subs, Waxdolls et Hadouken!

Waxdolls, c’est un groupe récent, qui est né je crois en 2008, et qui vient de Ghent. Ils se décrivent comme un groupe Electropunk (ça me rappelle un duo masqué à la bonne époque). Toutes les tracks de ce post proviennent de l’album “High Speed Killer Ride”, qui date de 2009. (Ils auraient apparemment plutôt bien retourné le Fight Klub -Bruxelles- lors de leur passage et prépare un nouveau live)

A écouter chez soit, dans son mp3, c’est pas ce qu’il y a de mieux. Et pourtant, si vous n’avez jamais vu The Subs en live, vous ne pouvez pas connaître la puissance de leurs tracks ! En live, c’est vraiment fou, et le chanteur l’est d’ailleurs. Les deux tracks qui font shaker du booty sont ici, et proviennent de l’album “Subculture”. Et regardez le clip de “My Punk”.

Je parlais tout à l’heure du Fight Klub, et la prochaine soirée, pas celle de demain, mais celle d’après, sera avec Hadouken! en DJ set. Tu veux de quoi te donner envie d’y aller ? Ok, pas de soucis. “M.A.D”, est leur EP le plus connu je pense, même si le remix de Noisia de  “Crank it Up” l’est pas mal. “M.A.D” est folle (jeu de mot un peu naze), et regardez aussi le clip qui porte bien son nom et assez drôle.

Kap Bambino, est-ce que j’ai vraiment besoin de les présenter ? Eeeeet oui, c’est des Français, des Bordelais pour être plus précis. Ils ont commencé en 2001 et depuis ne s’arrête plus, puisqu’ils ont sorti il y a peu un album “Blacklist” et un EP “Dead Lazers” (avec le remix de Birdy Nam Nam qui déchire). Voici donc deux tracks, et attention à la 2ème partie de “More Machine” qui fait mal.

There’s a time and place for everything, and sometimes you get the urge for ripping up floorboards, tearing down walls and throw the cat against the wall.

Admittedly – the craze for fierce, head-boshing, teeth-grinding Electro started to wear off a long time ago with people having moved on to other pastures. As Erol Alkan recently said in an interview: “……..Not to dismiss the current scene, but there is stuff that has got a bit too hard and a bit too mindless – if we’re not careful we’re only a few steps from Hard House or stuff like that. Let’s bring some funk back, let’s not just bang our heads on walls!”.

But – sometimes you need Hadouken! who is on the verge of releasing their new album in January 2010. Expect loud guitars, fierce breaks and enough commotion to start a fire, and if in doubt check their new single – “Turn The Lights Out” – from the forthcoming album, which comes barging at you at 200 miles an hour.

The Prodigy certainly didn’t exist in vain. Neither did Linkin Park or Rage Against The Machine, and with “Turn The Lights Out” you get a fine cross between the three with enough action to knock your lights out.

Stand well clear of the speakers!

Yesterday I went to a gig in Poole, a town not too far away from where I live, yet has a lot more going on than Gill, to see a band I love, Hadouken! The gig overall was amazing and I loved it, I wasn’t too battered and bruised by the Mosh pits that went on, it seemed like there was a new one every 5 seconds, but then the Moshes were only really in the support acts, one of which I do not know, the other is now a band I enjoy, Soft Toy Emergency, which I recommend to people. Then as soon as Hadouken! got onto the stage, everyone went mental to the point that the barrier at the front fell down, hilarious for a minute or so then boring as the band stopped until it was fixed Then Hadouken! started playing and everyone went insane, and opened with the song “Get Smashed, Gate Crash” the opening track of their current album “Music For an Accelerated Culture” Then they played their latest single “M.A.D” which is amazing, but to make things even better they shouted “We have a special guest” to which a man dressed up in a mouse costume ran on, for those of you that haven’t seen the M.A.D video it includes a mouse getting drunk, then getting beaten up.

So you see why it was fucking awesome to see the mouse!

I highly recommend seeing Hadouken! live if you can and at £10 a ticket for the gig I went to, it is well worth the money.

Hadouken! loved to bask in the light.

It’s a big night for The Sugarmill. Tonight they are hosting not only a gig for one of the UK’s most exciting and energetic bands, but they also have to cope with the onslaught of blood, sweat and tears that Hadouken!s’ fans seem to revel in.

Half-naked teenagers roam the venue dressed as if they’re going to the beach on a warm summer’s day; whilst others are so intoxicated they’re thrown out by the bouncers even before the support act emerge onstage.

Of course when the support band for tonight, ‘Soft Toy Emergency’ do appear onstage the crowd erupts into even more of a drug-fuelled frenzy. The bands electro-pop-tastic set is the perfect appetizer and a successful crowd pleaser, as female vocalist Jen conducts the crowd with aplomb (an easy job on her account, as every male eye is ogling her cleavage).

During the brief break after Soft Toys’ departure, the audience are treated to interval songs by Kaiser Chiefs, Lostprophets, and Busted, obviously. Chants of “Let’s go fucking mental!” start to mass, and everyone gladly obliges…

21:37: Hadouken take to the stage. 600 fans all scream in unison as latest album ‘For The Masses’ opener ‘Rebirth’ resounds around the venue. Masses of flailing limbs fly around the room as the grindie band show off their latest material, only to be cut short as the barrier restraining the frantic crowd breaks from the pressure, forcing the band to leave the stage temporarily. As a result the crowd become rowdy and restless, bellowing their hearts out for their heroes to re-emerge.

22:00: The band takes to the stage once again. Chaos resumes, and shortly after vocalist James Smith’s speech of “It’s not our fault the barrier broke, it was you guys, you’re fucking mental!” they launch into past hits ‘Get Smashed Gate Crash’ and ‘Liquid Lives’ which receive the best responses of the night. As well as new singles ‘Turn the Lights Out’ and the orgy of dubstep that is ‘M.A.D.’ which are accompanied by a glorious rave lightshow.

Blasting through hits old and new, they close proceedings with the menacing ‘Bombshock’, and ‘That Boy That Girl’, bringing an end to the gruelling mosh pits and a night of teenage debauchery.

From the smiles on the sweat-soaked fans’ faces, it’s clear that Hadouken are destined for bigger ventures, and to firmly take their place as the heirs to The Prodigy’s crown.

I do have a lot of passion’s like  music,gaming, skate boarding, Supra’s, but i  also have a massive passion for new era hats ! i always wear them when i  go out. You  will never catch me not wearing one these days . basically it all started when i was a kid.  I went to this  limp bizkit concert  when i was like 10 or maybe even younger  at Finsbury park (if you don’t know were that it is in north London) . I always wanted the trade mark  new era he always use to wear.

So basically i was  at the concert which i recall was pretty sick actually. So i was walking around the concert with my dad and I had found a official new era hat stand there and they had crap loads of hats and i saw the limp bizkit  new era  and i got  it and i spent the standard price for a new £25. So i wore it for ages it and loved it  but one day my cat vomited on it lol . I know your never ever ment to do this and if you have a new era don’t do it but I had no choice, There was  all cat vomit all over the hat basically  my mum put it in the washing  machine but it shrunk and got destroyed. so after the worse day of my life i didn’t buy  new era’s for quite a few years. back in spring 2008 I  bought another new era and since then I’ve   always wore  them i have such a MASSIVE ADDICTION  its actually surreal so here is my  collection of my pride and joys !

Also  I have spent  £100+ this year alone all costing 25 pound or more i have never bought fakes i buy them from the official shop around oxford circus (central london ). It is very easy to finds fakes basically most of them sold are in Camden are fake and all them chavy fake bling bling shops and so on . Also when i started wearing new era again back in 2008 I got alot of criticism that I was a chav wearing them? Well they are wrong they were just narrow  minded c***s and i think i have a pretty tastefull collection of hats.

also alot of famous Artits and groups wear new era’s such as  50  cent , dizzee rascal , jay z , hadouken, the cool kids , The list goes on and basically new era makes the best flat cap hats ever and they have been making them since  the 1920’s !

Also i’m very poor! so lately i havent been able to buy new era’s but when I did have money, I tryed to buy a new era every month but now im in college and i don’t get any pocket money now lol . I cant buy new era’s (sad times ) but ! think all my new era hats were all worth the 25 pound even  though I can barely afford them ! Thank you new era for improving my image and thanks for fueling my addiction  by keeping idea’s and designs fresh ! also have a look at my friends collection i actually think this will be waiting 4 me in heaven lol.

Não ando postando muito por causa de formaturas de faculdade e outras loucuras de uma vida corrida mas tive de aproveitar esse momento de hora extra no trampo para postar sobre esse vídeo ai de Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2…

Massa não? A Activision grita a plenos pulmões que é o jogo mais esperado da década. Claro que sabemos que é só marketing mas os vídeos do game tem um tratamento impecável e parecem filmes de ação, aliás pelo que vemos é melhor que a maioria dos filmes de ação da atualidade….

Enfim pra quem tem um videogame de 3ª geração ou um PC só pra rodar games é uma boa pedida…    Seeya!

P.S. Em outro vídeo que vi um jogador foda acertava uma faca na cabeça de um inimigo!

Que hacen ustedes cuando una consoa les sale mal o defectuosa?, o simplemente deja de funcionar? Esta foto tal vez interprete el sentimiento de toda esa gente que ha visto morir a sus consolas o simplemente ni siquiera la han visto trabajar. La verdad si.. por ejemplo es una incomodidad el problema con el XBOX 360.. cuando te salen los aros rojos de la muerte, es lo primero que quieres hacer aventar el aparato y gritar una sarta de improperios para el primero que se asome obviamente pensando en la compañia que te decepciono.. en fin.. asi hay muchos aparatos y los seguira habiendo, pero lo mejor es llevar la fiesta tranquila y no enojarnos y aprender a sonreir!!!

Hadouken can be either one of two things. First, it can be a vigilant battle cry from an anime charater right before he is about to emit a giant energy ball from his fists, ooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it can be an incredamazing dance-rock-grind band from the U.K. I prefer the latter. Hadouken produce dance songs for hardcore kids, and the track M.A.D. is no exception. Check out the video showing a less-than-friendly anthropomorphic mouse. It’s what would have happened to Mickey Mouse if he hadn’t aced that big audition for Disney all those years ago.

Hadouken! are back with their new album produced by Noisia in late January 2010. In the meantime check out their current single ‘M.A.D’ with the Best Of Youtube visuals.
