Kim So Yeon & Seon Woo Seon’s attractive pictorials join the “Share Happiness” campaign

The two actresses have joined the charity campaign “Share Happiness” held by fashion magazine ELLE, along with the other 93 popular stars such as Jang Dong Gun, Go So Young, Lee Young Ae, Shin Mina, Su Ae, Kim Nam Gil, Joo Jin Mo, Han Jae Suk and many others. As we know, this nonprofit campaign will take all the profits to women with talent but have not received education to gain social status. And the concept for this pictorial is to show compassion through joy and laughter.

Kim So Yeon herself has been in this campaign last year, which made this year her 2nd year with ELLE “Share Happiness.” With her strong performance as the vulnerable, strong and charismatic North Korean intelligence Kim Seon Hwa, she has gained much exposure these days as much as getting a reputation as the ‘friendly So Yeon-ssi.” She was very happy to be able to join this campaign for 2 years now, so despite of her busy filming schedule for IRIS, she made sure to arrange her time for this campaign. “I love to share happiness with others through my pictures, rather I become happier because of it,” as she revealed her opinion about the pictorial.

As for Seon Woo Seon, her mini series just started 2 weeks ago. She has shown her unique charms, bold lines and distinctive expresionless mask which is kinda hard to find in other Korean actresses. During the shoot, Seon Woo Seon got interviewed about her make-up and image for this pictorial, but she said she appreciated the image that she had to reflect for this pictorial. “I used to say that my thick lips are to my disadvantage, but nowadays I realize that you can look attractive when you could how people your unique personality.”

The “Share Happiness” campaign this year has asked netizens to join the campaign. From December 8 through the 29, ELLE magazine (WWW.ELLE.CO.KR) and Elle Atzine (www.atzine.com) will collect profits collected from the campaign through this pictorials and call it “Happy sharing project.” Netizens can accessing the above website, along with the 93 things special stars pictures that the campaign had worked on.

ELLE magazine has done it again. In the recent campaign for this renowned fashion magazine, their “Share Happiness” put together a special campaign along with famous celebrity models such as Jang Dong Gun, Hwang Jung Min, Joo Jin Mo, Shin Mina, Gong Hyeong Jin, Han Jae Seok, as well as their colleagues and friends, Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Byung Hun, Go Joon Hui and Kim Nam Gil.

The photoshoot is designed to help fundraising some funds to fight the hunger for children of Africa. Their concept is pretty similar than the one Lee Byung Hun took in yesterday’s news, but this time they’re working together with United Nations World Food Program (WFP), in which Jang Dong Gun is the goodwill ambassador for the organization.

Elle mentioned that the photoshoot with Jang Dong Gun was pretty awesome. They all got along and had quite a lot of fun with all the models. Meanwhile, Jang Dong Gun, Lee Young Ae, and Go So Young help to raise some fund donations along with the rest of 93 stars, in this 2 years annivesary of Elle Korea’s “Share Happiness” campaign.

December last year, ELLE Korea collected total donations of ₩ 250,000,000 ($216,000 USD), in which they have used all the funds to support the same mission. This time, they will go for the World Food Program, Compassion International, Good Neighbors, along with other charity programs held by medical centers and goodwill associations such as Loving Hands and many others.

Este fue mi primer dorama coreano, le tengo un cariño especial, aqui fue donde quede fascinada con Chae Rim y con Jang Dong Gun ♥.

El drama era bastante complejo, era sobre  Jin Sun Mi y Heo Young Mi.

Sun Mi tuvo una bonita infancia y creció recibiendo mucho amor por parte de su padre. Mientras que Young Mi tuvo una infancia difícil, su madre la abandonó cuando ella era muy pequeña y su padre era un alcohólico que recién falleció, pero Young Mi nunca se dio por vencida y llegó a entrar a la universidad. Ella es realmente malvada pero pretende ser simpática y amable con la gente a su alrededor, es atrevida y hace lo que sea para obtener lo que quiere.

El padre de Sun Mi decide ayudar a Young Mi y se la lleva para Seúl. Y ahí se conocen ellas dos. Ambas aspiran a ser presentadoras principales de noticias y van a la misma escuela.

Sun Mi ama mucho a Woo Jin, pero para Woo Jin ella es sólo como una hermana. A Young Mi le empieza a gustar Woo Jin, y Woo Jin se empieza a interesar en Young Mi.  Sun Mi decide ir a Londres un tiempo y ahí conoce a Yoon Hyong Cheol.

Hyong Cheol está profundamente herido también porque su padre abandonó a su madre, quién recién falleció, para después casarse con otra mujer teniendo otro niño. Hyong Cheol y Sun Mi se la pasan muy bien juntos en Londres, pero Sun Mi aún ama a Woo Jin. Y Hyong Cheol se empieza a enamorar de Sun Mi.

Luego ya suceden muchas cosas, algunas escenas un poquito fuertes, para ser dorama coreano, muchos besos apasionados e inocencia.

EL OST siempre a sido el mas bello, como True Love interpretado por FINKl o la nostalgica canción You Can Say, interpretado por la dulce voz de Mina.

Me encantaba Kim So Yun en su papel de malvada, lo interpretaba excelentemente, le creia cada uno de sus acciones, muy buena actriz.

Este dorama es viejo, asi que como buen dorama de aquellos tiempos, tiene mas episodios, comparado con los de ahora,20 en total donde disfrutaras de venganza, amor, inocencia, tragedias, traiciones pero al final gana el amor♥.

Complicado pero lindo, este dorama trata sobre 4 hermanas, que buscan el amor,  aunque cada una tiene una manera peculiar para buscarlo.

La hermana mayor Hae-jung interpretado por  Hwan Soo Jung,  es demasiado amable, a veces la odiaba no podia creer que fuera tan… tan… tonta!.

La otra hermana es Yu Jin, interpretado por la grandiosa Chae Rim, en su rol como hermana ambiociosa y directa, la que ocasiona miles de problemas a la familia, como me encanto verla aqui es totalmente diferente a lo que me tenia acostumbrada.

La Tercera hermana es Yu Mi, materialista, interesada, esta enamorada de un chico que no tiene el dinero que ella quiere, asi que se compromete con un joven rico.

Al final esta Yu Sun, la chica que esta en la escuela y esta enamorada de su profesor.

Cabe destacar que este dorama es algo viejo, es del 2001, consta de 20 episodios y es del genero romance- drama.

A mi en lo personal me gusto, solo que sus cabellos! no se quien fue ese estilista que las dejo asi, en especial el cabello de Chae Rim, no le lucia, pero por los demas estuvo bien.

Hubieron escenas  como era de esperar que se hacian pesadas y eternas, pero las escenas romanticas y lacrimogenas lo arreglan.

El OST romantico como siempre nada excepcional pero muy agradable al oido.

Para las amantes del drama y fanaticas de Chae Rim (all about eve), deben de ver este dorama.

La serie es una reliquia asi que mas vale tenerla que verla solamente jeje, sin duda alguna fue la primer serie que vi y la primer serie que transmitieron aca en México por tv abierta. Pensaba colocar las descargas pero no es etico de mi parte (como para que poner algo que esta en otro lado?) mejor los mando para allá jeje. Recien descubri la pagina y tienen otros proyectos interesantes en curso y unos cuantos finalizados.

Themes of gender bending and man-on-man love stories are the hot draws for movie-goers.

Kim Min-sun stars in a new film, “Portrait of a Beauty,” (미민도 2008) another story of gender bending painter, Shin Yoon-bok of the Joseon Dynasty. The same story is already on the small screen drama, but titled, “Painter of the Wind”  with Moon Geun-young, However, “Portrait of a Beauty” ups the ante with some risque action that can only be shown on the big screen.

At the VIP screening of  Portrait of a Beauty, a slew of well-known celebrities flocked to the Yongsan CGV theaters on November 4.

Kim Young-ho, Chu Ja-hyun, and Kim Nam-gil also star.

“Portrait of a Beauty” will paint its way into theaters on November 13th, 2008.

Kim Min-sun and Chu Ja-hyun (below) keep it short, shiny and “sexy” in their orange colored dresses. Is it possible for these celebrities not to show everything and just keep it classy?

Chu Ja-hyun just looks cheap. One of the judges from the tv show, “Project Runway” stated that the fastest way to look cheap is to wear something “short, shiny and tight.” The orange dress has all of that.

While many are still grieving over the recent and sudden loss of Lee Eon, another tradegy has hit entertainment community with Ahn Jae-hwan’s suicide. Ahn Jae-hwan’s body was found nearly 2 weeks after he died in a black van parked in a residential area of Seoul. Many believe that his death was the result of his USD 4 million debt from his businesses (movie and cosmetics). A few months earlier, Ahn Jae-hwan had expressed to his sonbae via sms that he wanted to die because of his financial burden. With his death, the debt is likely to be also dissolved since he and wife Jung Sun-hee were not registered as man and wife.

Nancy rang took a wrong turn by wearing a bright orange sweater, white pants and a name tag at a funeral. Talk about disrespect.

Revenge and forgiveness. These are the two words in which this new drama is going to be about. Shin Do Young, played by Kim Ji Soo is an announcer who had everything, looks, abilities and a superior background. She is what every female university undergrads in Korea are aiming to be. However behind her glamourous appearance, she had a dark secret.

Do Young was actually adopted from an orphanage after being left there by her biological mother. Fearing that she will not receive any love from her foster parents, she deliberately left her younger sister Yoon Sa Weol at a train station. However, she soon regretted and hurried back in search for her sister but her sister was gone by that time. Years later, she met her younger sister played by Lee Ha Na by chance. But what will happen if this secret is revealed? Will Sa Weol forgive her sister or instead take revenge against her?

Sounds interesting? After watching the first 2 episodes, I feel that the plot is not draggy as compared to most Korean dramas. The details were revealed very fast and by the end of episode 2, viewers will have a pretty good idea on what is happening and what the plot will be for the remainder of the series.

As the title goes, the focus will be on the 2 actress Kim Ji Soo and Lee Ha Na. Both of them acted very well especially Kim Ji Soo. But for some reason i just like Lee Ha Na’s character better. She seemed so cheerful even though she grew up as an orphan without knowing where her parents were. In contrast, both the actors Han Jae Suk and Jung Gyu Woon seems to receive less attention in the story, at least this is the feeling I got from the first 2 episodes. Hope to see more of them in the future episodes.

Even though the plots were predictable, the acting skill of everyone seemed to be so perfect. Highly recommended if a drama about revenge is what you like.

Do-Young, 33-year-old top anchor woman in Korea, apparently seems to be the perfect role model for every girl in passion. She has got it all, from educational background, prosperous family, beautiful feature, natural-born talent and even adorable personality. Do-Young shines anywhere and everywhere, but deep down in her heart, she suffers from extreme loneliness and cold.

Originally, Do-young was abandoned in front of a orphanage when she was a very little girl. By chance, she was adopted to a rich professor family without any kid and lead her princess life. Several years later, when the step parents got their unexpected biological daughter, Do-young felt threatened that she might lose her parents’ love and affection. So, 13- year- old Do-young abandoned her 5-year-old little sister in front of the Seoul Central Train Station and took her parental love back.

20 years later, Do-young met a charming personal shopper, Sawol, in VIP corner of a luxurious department store. By her merry and cheerful characteristics, Sawol chooses fashion item for Do-young and they starts to feel friendly each other. By the malicious purpose of Do-young’s orphanage friend, Do-Young’s terrible deed is disclosed and Sawol turns out to be the very sister that Do-young has abandoned. depicts two sisters and their love, desire, revenge, and forgiveness.
