Wczoraj miał miejsce kolejny happening w wykonaniu Pani Reginy Naronowicz-Kupczyk (78 lat). Jest to sławna “Hafciarka” znana z youtube.pl, swego czasu nagłośniona przez Gazetę Wyborczą i TVN.

O co chodzi Pani Reginie?

Hafciarka wprost i bez ogródek neguje obowiązujący system polityczny oraz działanie służb porządkowych(policja) jak i urzędników kościelnych. Co więcej, próbuje udowodnić niesłuszność istnienia podatku na Kościół (1.04%) oraz wskazuje dysproporcje w emeryturach w stosunku do pensji oficjeli kościelnych.

Protest koło Pręgierza na wrocławskim Rynku spotkał się z dużym zainteresowaniem przechodniów – młodzieży, ale i osób starszych.

Ja osobiście – nie wnikając w zawiłości ideologiczne – pochwalam takie inicjatywy, bo dzięki nim miasto nabiera kolorytu. Można choć przez chwile poczuć się jak na barcelońskiej La Rambli, a nie w Polsce - pełnej smutasów i narzekactwa

Today is a big day for me. I have dropped 10 Kgs in almost 8-9 Weeks. Though some more Kgs to be dropped, it is good to feel 10 Kgs down . This is purely through working out in the Gym for 1.5 hours a day + disciplined Diet.

People who know me for quite sometime know of the fact that 4 years back I was reducing weight. This time it is to drop the additional weight I have gained in the last 2-3 years . This is the last time I am reducing weight. Once I reach my Target, I will maintain it.

One interesting usage of English. As I was speaking to my Friend I said “I have lost 10 Kgs”. He corrected me saying, you have Dropped 10 Kgs. You can lose a pen or something else unintentionally and when you reduce weight, it is completely based on your personal decision and hence it is better to say  “I have dropped 10 Kgs” . Ademloos heb ik vorige week gekeken en geluisterd naar de ongeëvenaarde voordracht van Willem Nijholt. Oeroeg was mijn vriend, zo begon zijn bijna anderhalf uur durende declamatie, naar het door Yvonne Keuls bewerkte boek van Hella S.Haase. Willem Nijholt daagde het publiek uit, zoals alleen een ware maestro dat kan. Puur, zonder technische hulpmiddelen of attributen. Terug tot de essentie van zijn stemkwaliteit en de non-verbale elementen van lichaamshouding, beweging en mimiek. Hij deed daarmee een maximaal appél op de verbeeldingskracht van het publiek. En dat werkte. Je kon een speld horen vallen in Theater Carré. Nijholt bracht de toehoorders in hun ´eigen’ voorstelling en zaaide alom respect voor de wijze waarop hij dat deed. Chapeau!  Het interview met Hella S.Haase, was vervolgens nog eens een extra toef slagroom op de taart. Met haar scherpe geest en wijze woorden, pakte de 91-jarige schrijfster, de zaal volledig voor zich in. Het was een unieke happening en een prachtige afsluiting van “Nederland Leest”. Ik hoop dat de jonge artiesten die zijn geselecteerd voor van den Ende’s  Mary Poppins talentenjacht, goed naar de wijze raad van Willem Nijholt luisteren. Hij heeft ze werkelijk iets te leren over verbeelding en verbeeldingskracht.

“Ew! Adam is a gay. Hate that!”

I wonder, do they know that their stereotype, prejudice and discrimination may cause harm to the particular group of people?

Stereotyping involves making assumptions and applying an attribute to a group of people without knowing all the facts.
When I was in the crowd, I overheard a group of people saying that Indians are violent and Malays are lazy.
This can lead to prejudice and discrimination.

Prejudice is an attitude or belief on a group of people based on personal or social ideals without considering the facts.
I saw few women were chatting. From the way of a Chinese mother spoke, it showed that she dislikes Indians due to some personal beliefs.
Prejudgment.

Discrimination is the act of being unfair to certain groups of people.
It is based on prejudice.
Continue from the above example, the Chinese mother told her daughter not to play with her Indian friend by telling her that the Indian girl may influence her to become bad.

Prejudice is a state of mind which many people see as harmless to people but discrimination is the action which resulted from prejudice and can be harmful.
All these prejudical attitudes and discriminatory behaviour may hurt people.
Stereotype, prejudice, discrimination.

I was at Sahoo Sidiqqui Polytechnic College, Baykhala, Mumbai and the occasion was Tata Steel Entrance Exam for the graduate children of its employee. It was almost after 3 and 1/2 yrs that I was appearing for any exam.

Finally, I reached the hot seat, touched the desk with my palm wide open and felt THE SCENE OF THE EXAM. Through the glasses, my eyes were comparing that environment with those of my school’s class room. The same old small brown desks with attached chair and the same great double-x rated stuffs carved on the wood .

On the front off-white-wall, just beside the black board, one of the scholar of that class has written “Tambakhoo Baadshah ki jai ho!! And some footprints for the deco sake. ” That Tambakhoo Baadshah might not be knowing that the guy has made him a legend (at least for me for that I‘ll remember it!!). On my right bench row there was a guy, wearing full sleeve shirt neatly tucked in his formal blue jeans with adidas shoes, playing with the chalk powder. Before leaving home, he might have promised 2 things to self:

1. Solve all 120 questions in 2 hours.
2. Come home directly from the examination center.

One more thing that caught my attention was almost 80% of the crowd was wearing Tata Steel wrist-watch which has been presented to their parents from Tata. They were carrying their parent’s time with them. Finally the bell rang and I unsealed the question paper.

And the rest was the countdown for the time when I would take my a s s out from the class room and would rush toward the washroom.

P.S. Results to be declared day after tomorrow. However, pls. pray that someone most dear would come Pune this weekend .

Setelah menimbang-nimbang, mencaricari hikmah,dan menganalisis cost&benefit, saya akhirnya harus mengikhlaskan salah satu rencana besar saya yang udah saya rencanain sejak awal taun L Yup, sejak awal taun saya dah ngerencanain obsesi saya sejak lama, which is bekpeking. Sebenernya impian saya pengen bekpeking ke Europe tapi berhubung sikon ga memungkinkan, jadinya ga muluk-muluk deh bekpeking dulu ke negri tetangga heheh.

Rencana awal saya mo bekpeking bareng ama Suntea Oktober ini. Kita maunya ke Thailand sekalian agak jauh gitu. Then suddenly ada perubahan rencana. Suntea pindah kerja ke company laen. It means dia belom dapet jatah cuti dwonk. Hiks…hiks…

Since saya dah dapet satu tiket one way ke Singapur, ya sud lah the show must go on.  Saya akhirnya ngerubah rute perjalanan. I chose CGK-SIN-KUL-SUB considering most probable I would backpacking by myself.

Pas mendekati hari h, saya jadi pikir-pikir lagi jadi bekpeking ga. Fyi, saya bekpekingnya sengaja pas dapet jatah cuti pendidikan seminggu. Since saya dapet penempatan Makassar, saya cuman punya waktu yang singkat buat pindahan.

Kenyataannya saya harus rela spent my last days of leave di Surabaya aja. Mungkin hikmahnya saya ga diijinin ama Yang Kuasa untuk bekpeking sendirian. My apologiez for getting stuck on this issue lately – but I will have to keep being stuck with it for a while. This issue is to big to ignore – and as things look we are approaching critical mass on the media awareness of what has been going on inside the Hadley Climate Research Unit. The emails recently released may not be the ultimate proof that the entire thing is a fraud – but its evidence damning enough to call for a complete audit of all the published literature in the subject. Thus, if I get even one person to question what is actually going on, it’s important enough. For those following this story, I recommend

1. My own reference of these emails I’m going through them backwards, so I won’t be completely finished anytime soon, but I’ll keep at it.
2. ClimateAudit, the blog by Stephen McIntyre that is responsible for bringing much of this into the light.
3. Wattsupwiththat, Anthony Watts blog (responsible for doing a complete, independant temperature stations survey in the US)
4. The Air Vent, where the emails were originally dumped by an unknown source
5. Bishop Hill, which also has a list of 33 of the most interesting emails found sofar
6. Unknown server with the emails which was set up a couple of days ago

Sofar, a few papers have picked up on this story. Not many of the mainstream outlets, however – which means that until this thing gains enough steam – no rest for the wicked. I’m back to going through endless amounts of uninteresting mail traffic in search of those incriminating parts that need to be highlighted.

In diesem Fall veranstaltete der Kläger als Gastprofessor ein Happening in Rahmen seiner Vorlesung an einer Universität, die die Beklagte war.

Das Happening wurde nach dem Gemälde „Der Heuwagen“ von Hieronymus Bosch von dem Kläger vorbereitet und geleitet und von den Hörern der Vorlesung eingeübt und durchgeführt.

Der Kläger gestattete der Beklagten das Happening auf Video-Band aufzunehmen, wobei er eine kommerzielle Verwertung des Videos ausschloss.

Die Beklagte verkaufte jedoch eine Kopie des Video-Bandes.

Der Kläger sah hierin eine Verletzung seines Urheberrechts an dem Happening und verlangte von der Beklagten Unterlassung.

Der BGH bestätigte in seinem Urteil einen Unterlassungsanspruch des Klägers.

Denn der BGH bejahte die Einordnung des Happenings als persönliche geistige Schöpfung gem. § 2 Abs. 2 UrhG.

Hierfür sprach nach Ansicht des BGH, dass „es sich bei dem Happening nicht um eine spontane Aktion, sondern um ein länger vorbereitetes Ereignis gehandelt habe, bei dem die Idee des Klägers, nämlich die Übertragung des Gemäldes „Der Heuwagen“ von Hieronymos Bosch in eine andere Darstellungsform unter Verwendung neuer, eigenartiger Symbole und Ausdrucksmittel, verwirklicht wurde“.

„Hierfür habe der Kläger die zu verwendenden Materialen und die vorzunehmenden Handlungen zuvor in einer choreografieähnlichen Darstellung zeichnerisch und schriftlich niedergelegt“, was nach Ansicht des BGHs für das Vorliegen einer persönlichen geistigen Schöpfung spreche.

Social Media – A force for good?

So, this is the first of my Happening posts, and I’m deviating already. This event tomorrow isn’t actually ‘happening’ in Manchester – at least it isn’t at time of writing!

This event happens in London with a small, and probably quite select, audience. I only got the email from NESTA today, but with a bit more notice maybe we could have called some friends, carved out an hour, found a place with a macbook wired up to a plasma, and gathered round with our pack-up lunches. Maybe we still will?

Tomorrow, Stephen Fry (you know who he is) ; Biz Stone, Founder and Chief Executive of Twitter; and Reid Hoffman, Founder and Chief Executive of LinkedIn will discuss the phenomenon of social media and its future impact.

Frankly, I’m getting rather bored of Stephen Fry and his love/hate thing with Twitter – sometimes I worry he will tweet himself (like pop).  That said, when I first opened my account I did follow him and @wossy for a while, until I found my own friends and interests online. So, with others I’m sure, I thank @StephenFry for my introduction to the Twitterverse.  Yes, sorry Stephen, I used you up and spat you out – or unfollowed you to be more precise.

So, in isolation, sat at ones desk with headphones on – this event might class as a ‘learning lunch’ but it’s not much of a cultural experience.  But if you guys want to gather together round a screen and discuss what’s said (with or without me!)  I think it classes as a Happening - so yes, it’s in!

Su característica principal es ser una pintura abstracta que se realiza con materias diversas a las tradicionales, incluyendo en el cuadro arena, madera…

-Abstracción postpictórica (década de los 60): Movimiento artístico de la década de los años 60. Reaccionó contra el expresionismo abstracto produciendo composiciones grandes, frías, impersonales y de colores ordenados.

-Arte Óptico (1958): Movimiento pictórico nacido en Estados Unidos. Es una corriente abstracta basada en la composición pictórica de fenómenos puramente ópticos, sensaciones de movimiento en una superficie bidimensional, engañando al ojo humano mediante ilusiones ópticas.

-Happening (1950): Manifestación artística, frecuentemente multidisciplinaria, caracterizada por la participación de los espectadores.

-Performance (años 60): práctica artística que consiste en “representar” o llevar a cabo (generalmente ante un público y en directo) una obra de arte, es decir, considerar simplemente el evento que constituye esta representación como una creación en sí misma.

-Instalación (1970): Arte contemporáneo que incorpora cualquier medio para crear una experiencia visceral o conceptual en un ambiente determinado. Los artistas de instalaciones por lo general utilizan directamente el espacio de las galerías de arte.

-Arte conceptual (finales de los 70):  Corriente artística caracterizada por el predominio de los elementos conceptuales sobre los puramente formales. Intenta evitar el estímulo óptico a favor de los procesos intelectuales que el público es invitado a compartir con el artista.

This is looking better and better. Swedens #2 newspaper (SvD) is now running a series of columns where both AGW-proponents and AGW-skeptics get to have their say. The proponents are shouting the usual “hurry its too late” and “the humanity! think of the suffering”. The skeptics are presenting the facts, as I’ve tried to do by links (Lindzen and Choi is being referenced more and more). Hopefully, it’s just a matter of time until every newspaper in the world has “global warming fraud” as their main item. The Guardian accepted some skepticism recently, as well as a few other lesser known papers.

I hope Al Gore and James Hansen are getting nervous breakdowns. This cannot go away, no matter how much cow flatulence you try and blame.

P.S Anyone who has been used as a “useful idiot” by the global warming crowd still has time to revert their position. Better to admit having been wrong then kling to a ship that is sinking faster than the Titanic D.S
