France More snow fell on many of the French resorts on Monday night. Around 20cm of fresh snow fell

France

More snow fell on many of the French resorts on Monday night. Around 20cm of fresh snow fell on the Espace Killy at (Val d’Isere and Tignes), which greatly boosted the snow conditions on the open slopes at Tignes. Elsewhere Val Thorens in the Three Valleys also received fresh snow. It’s good news over in Les Deux Alpes, which is scheduled to open this weekend. The snow coverage in the town is minimal but on the upper slopes and the glacier it is good. Light snow at the beginning of this week helped to freshen up the pistes so there should be good skiing available for opening day. All in all more great news coming in from France for so early in the season!

Austria

Just as with France, Austria received light snowfall this past week. Obergurgl received a further 5cm of snow on Tuesday night which improved the open runs. The deepest base depth in Austria at the moment is on the Hintertux glacier where 6cm of fresh snow fell on Tuesday. Lech, Zurs and St Anton were all scheduled to open this weekend but due to a lack of snow they have had to postpone this date. Lech and Zurs have set a revised opening date for Friday 4th December and St Anton plan to open when they have enough snow, but a date has not been set for their opening.

Switzerland

Sadly there are more postponed resort openings to report in Switzerland too. Due to the current snow shortage resorts such as Arosa have had to delay opening untill Saturday 5th December. This date could change, but heavy snow is forecast for the beginning of this coming week which is good news for the resort. Saas Fee is however open and received some fresh snow earlier in the week. Flims/Laax is also open for skiing with six lifts open. More snow is expected next week!

Italy

Sadly yet more postponed openings over in Italy where Alagna and La Thuille were the latest moutains to be added to the list of resorts suffering at the hands of poor snow coverage. Good news though in Cortina where four lifts are open and cannons are firing! Lack of fresh snowfall has not hindered the resort who are providing excellent snow coverage on piste thanks to a good snow cannon network!

USA

Powder haven Jackson Hole in Wyoming is scheduled to open this weekend despite relatively sparse snow coverage. Light snow fell over much of Colorado this week including Breckenridge which now has 11 lifts open, five of which opened on Wednesday. Sadly it isn’t such a good story over on the east coast. Following on from last week’s shortage of fresh snow many resorts here have had to postpone their planned opening dates. The good news is that colder weather is forecast for next week and a storm bringing heavy snow could hit the area!

Canada

After the past two week’s of wonderful reports for Canada it’s interesting to see that whilst snow remains excellent on the West Coast over on the East Coast reports are not so gleaming. Several East Coast resorts have postponed their opening dates whilst Kicking Horse in British Columbia recently announced that it would be opening early. They plan to open for the weekend of 4th to 6th December as a result of the excellent early season snowfall. Fernie also plan on opening soon, earlier than first planned. It should be possible to ski this coming weekend, 28th and 29th November. The conditions at both resorts should be excellent when they open, and more snow is forecast for next week. Following the recent record breaking snowfall, as predicted in last week’s forecast, Whistler is enjoying great ski conditions with Blackcomb mountain now open too!

We had a share of some interesting culinary success & disaster today. My sister and I woke up at 730 to make a dessert (this is quite a feat considering how tired we were from all the shopping and commuting the previous day).

First mission: ‘Impossible Pie’ (I’m not kidding). What’s ironic is that this pie is sooooo easy to make. This makes me arrive to the conclusion that perhaps it was named so because it’s impossibly easy? hmm. All you have to do is blend all the ingredients (about 8 of them) for 20 seconds then bake it. Hah! No wonder I baked it successfully even when half asleep. heh.

the end product

Second mission: Smoked salmon pie (a.k.a Pie Opah, as termed by my mum :p).

this was for breakfast. we took a cue from Snow White about pie making. But instead of using a bird’s lil feet, we used a fork.

Third mission: there was some pastry left, so I thought we should do something with it. So we wrapped the pastry around cocktail sausages and fried them… but…

they became more like sausages inside cocoons. Gahh. A disaster! Only 3 pieces je yg agak jadi.

Fourth mission: chocolate-coated fruits…

tak nampak menarik pun…

Fifth mission: Chicken rice for lunch. The only thing we need to do for this mission is FINISH it. muahaha. we cooked 6 pots of rice! gils.

In case that little gem of a title didn’t give it away, this is clearly going to be a review o

In case that little gem of a title didn’t give it away, this is clearly going to be a review of the new Twilight film, New Moon.

Perhaps before we delve into the nitty gritty, however, I feel I owe to clarify one thing. I have read the books. And I enjoyed them.

Don’t get me wrong, I know full well that Stephanie Meyers teen/vamp/romance is in no way shape or form the pinnacle of modern literature, but amongst the poor literary techniques lies a compelling premise, and it is this that kept me reading, and it was this that my left me thinking, that maybe, just maybe, the film series could hold my interest as much, if not more than the books.

And so late last year I trundled along to an early screening of Twilight, my hopes high that Catherine Hardwicke could make this series something worth remembering.

Unfortunately my hopes were shattered, dashed on the craggy rocks of atrocious scripting, filming, lighting and of course the horrid directing.

And so it was with this memory that I promised my patient girlfriend I would attend the newest edition to the film saga, New Moon.

Now lets be honest here, we have all heard the reviews, and expected something better than Twilight, but still nothing great.

And to be frank, that’s what I got.

There were no flashes of cinematic brilliance here, nor spectacular direction. Just a flawed, but watch-able film.

The film looked slick, the effects good (though should we expect anything less these days), the characters still distant, but good looking enough for most of us to let this slide.

The actors weren’t atrocious, with Kristen Stewart actually filling out the role of the stubborn and naive Bella quite well. Robert Pattinson was at his brooding best, filling his little screen time with some intense staring. Oh and somebody should check on Taylor Lautner, I think the kid might be allergic to cotton. Possibly just clothing in general.

Therein ends my praise, however, with little else of substance to be found in the film. The beginning and end of the film felt like they were tacked onto either end purely for continuities sake. The middle, which mainly displayed K-Stews ability to look depressed, seemed like it dragged on for hours (oh wait, it actually did).

I could ramble on for hours about what this film could have done better, but when it’s all said and done, this is really one of those films that people will watch regardless of others opinions. If you aren’t already one of the converted, don’t expect this film to be the turning point. For fans of the books, it is always interesting to see your favourite characters on the big screen, regardless of the context in which you watch them.

And so I give this film an apathetic 2.5/5, watch it if you have time, but don’t rush out, there is nothing revolutionary here.

Last night I had the good fortune of going to Pecha Kucha, an event where multiple presenters from the world of art and design get on stage and talk about whatever – their jobs, interests, motivations, projects, etc. They have 20 images to share and 20 seconds to talk about each image. Topics ranged from advertising to dance to graphic design to whatever they want. It was my first time going to this event and I really enjoyed it. It was quite inspirational to hear some of the wonderful things that people have their hands in. Makes me want to get in on it too. Personal faves from the night included Elvy del Bianco from VanCity Credit Union who talked about the need to invest in the social economy and not just the monetary one; Su-Feh Lee, artistic director of battery opera, whose art appeals to me both visually and intellectually (not to mention her interest in the human body and collection of organs in formaldehyde are facinating); and David Duprey, an entrepreneur who takes run down old buildings and makes them into art spaces. Can’t wait for the next one!

Every year I make a calendar of my photos to send to family. One year I made them on Snapfish. They were beautiful calendars, but the shipping was a wee bit high. No matter how many calendars I ordered, the same amount of shipping was added for each calendar. It was rather expensive at the end of the order.

The next year I ordered the calendars from Zazzle.

A couple months ago it was suggested that I turn one of my photography club’s assignments into note cards. I’ve made note cards before many times on Vista and am always very pleased with the results. But as I was beginning to prep for next year’s calendars, I decided to create the card on Zazzle just for fun. Before it was over, I had also created a store. Now I’ve added many more products to my Zazzle store developed from my most popular photographs with more in the works. In addition, I’m developing themes of products for inexpensive gift giving ideas throughout the year. Anyone can create products like note cards, coffee mugs, postage stamps and more on the site with or without the option to sell the items publicly. I leave it so that many of my products can be personalized by the buyers with their own messages.

For example, the mug below can be bought as is, or customized with something like “Happy Birthday Mom, Love Jane.”

This mug is blank in the middle with the photo on either side of the handle.

Or the buyer can purchase the same mug, but with one of several quotes I’ve already added on the mug.

Keep an eye on my new Zazzle store for new products being added all the time.

Interactive Entertainment in collaboration with technical experts within the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and noted serious games developer, Virtual Heroes, Inc.

Warner Bros. Entertainment, in partnership with PEPFAR, applied its core competence to develop an action-based videogame pilot that is delivering targeted HIV prevention messages to East African youths. The videogame combines traditional gameplay with messages aimed at changing behavior, focusing on key behaviors that can reduce HIV infections among youth. The game development is part of The Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation, a public-private collaboration among PEPFAR and businesses with critical core competencies such as messaging, new technologies and market research.

The “Pamoja Mtaani” videogame can be played at select youth venues in Nairobi, which are an integral component of this new initiative to revolutionize HIV prevention. The game, intended to engage youth through fun interaction, is designed to help influence HIV risk perceptions, attitudes and behaviors among young people in Nairobi.

Pamoja Mtaani also featured at Games for Health 2009. Below is the presentation that Producer, Kirsten Gavoni, gave some details on what it was like making the videogame (It was Warner Bros. first such project in Africa)

Pamoja Mtaani is available to play at three centres in Nairobi right now, two centres in the Mukuru slum and the National Youth Service along Thika Road. I’d suggest you go play it.

Roaming the streets at 3am wouldn’t be that much of a big deal. Staying up all night, not sleeping or resting, just purely playing and fooling around, is the right way to live life to the fullest. Unhealthy dietary indulgence of MacDonald burgers is the ideal meal for each hungry moment.

All this might hold some truth, if the world is indeed gonna end at 2012. What a self-assuring consolation for my screwed up lifestyle. LOL.

It’s been awhile since I stayed up like that. Walking in orchard road when there are nobody else around. Going pass meridien, with all those karaoke girls dressed up in skimpy clothing, and some of them drunk till they can’t walk, swaying from left to right in the arms of another man. Strolling through hawkers, where bunch of men gather to drink beer as they watch sports channels on TV. Such an experience, but it wouldn’t be any fun without those bunch of friends=]

boooooooooo

it’s been a while. and college crap is trying to take over my time and the free time that i do have, i wanna do other stuff and not blog. that’s only for when i can’t sleep or when i actually want to blog. lmao

but today was thanksgiving, a special occasion and i felt the need to rant.

my cousin and her husband are soooo annoying my other cousins think so as well. they’ve been having problems again (whoop-de-doo, no surprises there). and they’re never gonna change or learn from their problems. they just will never change.

and in my college applications, i’ve been long finished with my personal statement and i’m working on my short answer (aka. the uw application). the annoying cousin brings up that she can read it and whatever and she’s a fantastic writer and all but come on. i wrote it in junior year, a teacher read the rough and the final, i’ve edited it many times over the summer with NELA and they’re continuing to read it, and 3 people at College Access Now, and most of my friends have read it.

i was thinking about it, but when she herself wants to read it and nags about it to me, i’m not gonna do it. i mean, if i wanted help, i would have asked for it. it’s my pet peeve, seriously. even if i’m doing something incorrectly, i hate it when people nag at me for doing it incorrectly. if they just tell me, it’d be fine and i’d change. but if someone nags at me about it, it makes me want to keep doing it incorrectly.

but yeah. black friday shopping, i’ve never gone before. and i don’t think i’m going this year either. i mean, i don’t have anything to buy… and i don’t wanna die or get trampled on or get a black eye on black friday…

anyway, moi ngay an pho! hell yeah! i love pho, especially when you’re gonna eat some with a cute guy. hahahahaha

december first is coming up hella fucking soon, so i should get some rest and write some short stuff. !!

「美女廚房，食咗先講!」

ps. MTV Made is coming to my school and i REALLY FUCKING WANNA BE MADE into a drummer. hehe

For you lucky people who live in a big city, this might be mundane and dull. But for poor souls like me who are stuck in a small town for weeks at times, big cities are the salvation to my soul.

I went back to KL the other weekend and had a splendid time shopping, eating good food, gaming and sleeping in air-conditioned room. So yeah, life’s been good. But unfortunately, all good things come to an end. And I’m back here again. The weather has just started to change, from the pleasantly cool to the hot and clammy. Haih.

Anyway, back to KL!

1st day

Turns out my family have already eaten when I reached KL fml. So I went to McD!

2nd day

Went to Amcorp Mall (Thank god I didn’t bump into anyone from my old internship place -_-) to take my books!

And then decided to go alllllll the way to MidValley for dinner. Stupid traffic jams were everywhere. By the time we reached MidValley, the three of us were positively ravenous, having eaten nothing at all the entire day. T.T

They INSISTED on Carl’s Junior. So Carl’s Junior it is!

3rd day

Was still pigging ’cause stupid insomnia made me slept at 4am the previous night. Then I got a call from my mom asking me for lunch. She mentioned baby was there! So I bolted awake and showered.

The baby in question is actually my baby nephew! Super adorable kid. I first saw him back in May, when he was only 4 months old. It’s been too long!!!

Here’s pictures I took of him back in May.

He held my finger while he noms! *swoons

Look at those eyes! Look at those cheeks! How could double chins look so adorable!

And he is super friendly too! So it’s super easy to make friends with him. He is super super super cute! So cute that he can sing himself to sleep wtf. Seriously. He sings in his baby talk language when he is tired. After singing for a few minutes, he promptly falls asleep! Excuse the exclamation marks, I really like babies. Heh.

His most recent pictures! Very inquisitive and curious about everything. And very guai too. He didn’t throw a single racket and fuss around much for the entire day. Me likes.

4th day

Last day in KL. Dinner with the family! Dishes are nothing to shout about except for their signature lala dish. But still, better than those craps we get here in Kampar la.

Had loads of fun back home! Will be back during study week again woohoo!

Just before heading out to Thanksgiving Dinner

It’s wonderful getting to visit family in the USA during this holiday. I just got back from the ministry trip in Kentucky the other day, had a little time to pick up some items for Israel, plus another teaching/sharing engagement in Central Jersey, and now Thanksgiving, my favorite American holiday. Some say that the feast day has roots in the Feast of Tabernacles, called “Succot” in Hebrew, I suppose because it happens around the same time of year, and evidently the pilgrims showed some knowledge of the Feasts of YHWH.

It sure is a good policy to remain Thankful!

Ahoy. I realised I hadn’t really written anything proper since the StewLee gig and felt the ur

Ahoy.

I realised I hadn’t really written anything proper since the StewLee gig and felt the urge to, then came to write something, wrote that first sentence, didn’t know what to talk about and closed the page… only to open a new one about thirty-four seconds later. What’s wrong with my head? Come on, hands, do the typey thing, you know how.

I’m seriously worrying about my memory, it’s shocking at the moment. As a result, I can’t really remember what I’ve done since the aforementioned blog… or maybe it’s just a case of me not having done anything interesting until last week. That seems depressingly feasible.

Cinema-wise, I finally saw ‘Up’! Also ‘The Men Who Stare At Goats’. This is all I remember from the weeks previous.

I made a spur-of-the-moment trip to Edinburgh last week. About a month ago, I’d jokingly texted my sister, after seeing a trailer on tv for New Moon, saying, “When are we going to see New Moon then?”
This also related to the fact that at the start of the year, she’d dragged me to see Twilight on the promise that it’d be unintentionally hilarious (which it definitely was). So, a text from her last week asked if I was up for travelling down to the lovely capital to see it with her and Clara. This, coupled with the fact that it was £15 a return rail ticket AND payday, made me giggle and accept her offer.

On Friday, I caught my train which was due to leave at 12.07pm. By 12.02, I’d been joined by three women, which is the plight of choosing to sit at an unreserved table, who immediately set out a tablecloth, christmassy napkins and what can only be described as a ‘fuckload’ of food (including “Chocolate Sunties! [Santas] There were eight, but I had two of them yisterday!”).
By 12.05, they’d offered me some of the vodka and coke they’d brought along for the ride. I politely declined, but mainly due to the fact that I don’t drink coke anymore. I already had my headphones in, but had paused my magical music-box when they started talking to me and decided that these, the most Aberdonian women in existence, would be great entertainment, so kept it paused for a while as I pretended to be listening and staring out the window.
I predicted correctly. It took a lot of strength not to laugh at some of the stuff they were spouting and to pretend I wasn’t listening in on them, especially as the journey went on and they steadily got more and more drunk.
“Och, I winna hae too much to drink or else I’ll nae be fit for shopping. I’ll be buyin’ shite!”
One of them, whilst trying to open her sandwich packaging, exclaimed, “It’s like the bloody Krypton Factor, this!” which was very hard not to giggle at. For the rest of the journey, I referred to her as KF on Twitter. Incidentally, it felt like I was shouting into the sea as I could only post things on there and not view them due to my phone having another breakdown. Ho hum.
Here is a selection of train-fun I posted onto said site though…

-Krypton Factor is justifying everything she eats by saying “It’s fae Markies!” or sometimes just “Markies!”. This isn’t just food… 12:34 PM Nov 20th
-More gold from Krypton Factor: “Yer in Scotland now. We hinnae got big trains here, we’ve just got wee choo-choos!” 1:37 PM Nov 20th
-Oh christ, they’ve teamed up with the whisky-drinkers at the next table to get involved in the comfortable conversational terrain of cancer. 2:03 PM Nov 20th
-Off the topic of cancer now and are joking about incest. This is brilliant. 2:16 PM Nov 20th

They had a good laugh with the people at the next table, two of whom were from Keith. They exchanged numbers. I found out the ladies were off to see Here Come The Girls, a concert featuring Anastacia, Lulu and Chaka Khan (not to be confused with Barack Obama). It sounded great… (It’s hard to convey sarcasm in typing)
Soon, our journey came to an end and I was getting sympathy from the cheeky Keith lot for having to sit next to the Eberdeen Ladies for three hours.
I bid them all farewell and went to meet Matthew. We made our way to Kilimanjaro for some hot chocolate and conversation, then bought some cakes to take to Clara’s. We walked up the street to meet my dear sister from work where we saw a shifty looking character in a Free Hugs tshirt and some koi carp. Exciting to have fish outside your office, but I wondered how many had copper-damage due to people’s love of throwing coins into water. Coin-drunk fish flailed around as Free Hugs guy passed us again and went into the building. Turns out the sister knows him. He still looked a bit sketchy though. She emerged and Matthew left us, cakes an’ all to catch a bus to Clara’s. We got there, had a drink and brought the baked goods through to eat whilst playing with her tiny tiny new kitten, Cardhu. I took no photos, so have stolen these two off her Facebook which best illustrate his fluffiness.

HE’S LIKE A TINY LION!!!
Ahem… We spent so much time winding him up that we forgot about the cakes. We soon had to head to the cinema. We got there and met up with Clara’s friend Jodie at around 6pm, but all the showings of the film were sold out until 8.15pm, so we went for that. All of us bar Jodie had cinema cards, so they had to be put through as separate transactions to her’s.
Knowing that we’d two hours to kill, we decided to go for food and eventually ended up at some Italian. I had something rice and chicken based, but I’ve no idea what else was in it, but it was enjoyable. We stayed there for a while and it was very pleasant indeed. When the waiter asked if we’d like anything else, Clara told him we’d better not as we’d a film to see, he asked what, we looked ashamed as we told him and Clara said “We’re secretly thirteen year old girls.”
He said he was too.
He was also Italian and attractive, so swoon, baby, swoon.

We left and made our way back to the cinema where we began to queue outside as it was unreserved seating. At about 8.10pm, it started moving and Clara checked she had all the tickets. It was here that she discovered she did have four tickets and three were for the right film, but Jodie’s one that she’d been given separately was for The Men Who Stare At Goats. There was a brief moment of nervous laughter before we remembered the film was sold out, then there was panic. And the queue was disappearing. Morven and I were handed two tickets and told to go grab four seats. We did so and plotted a way to get Jodie in if she was given a refund, but fortunately, it didn’t come to that and they joined us moments later.
The film itself was, as predicted, hilarious. The reaction of the audience at certain points was also very very funny.
I particularly enjoyed how Stephanie Meyer’s strict message of “No sex before marriage, kids!” was conveyed blatantly throughout and the really rubbish werewolves. They just looked like non-threatening big alsatians. Poor show! But nonetheless, much mirth to be had. After we got back to the flat, I remarked upon how I’d laughed so much that night that I felt really healthy. The best type of laughter.
Then everybody went to bed.

I awoke early the next day, still very tired, but put on Adam and Joe at 9am and continued to drift in and out of consciousness throughout. Into the second hour of it, I was joined by Morven and Matthew and we had breakfast. Previous day’s brownie? Omnomnom, as I believe the French say.
After the radio show, we watched a little bit of Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle then headed into town for lunch and a wander. It made me feel sad to walk around Edinburgh when it wasn’t festival time, going past all the venues that didn’t have people milling around outside was strange. I think when I was in Edinburgh with Rory and John, it was one of my happiest times of the year. It was nice being summer and warm and everywhere being open until ridiculous o’clock, so there was always something to do.
Gah, digression. Yes, we wandered around and I’ve no idea what we did with the time as it all went so fast. As I recall, a small portion of time was spent laughing uncontrollably about… male bodily functions. I do love my sister more than anyone in the world. We went to a nice little sweet shop, then to Vinyl Villians and Fopp where I spotted this for £3 and decided I must have it…

“James Murphey (Brian Krause) is a rugged cryptozoologist, who thirty years earlier, during a trip to Loch Ness, Scotland, had a fatal encounter with the fabled “Nessie” creature that killed his father, and left James with deep facial scar. Twenty years later, James is hunting for Nessie, when his search leads him to the sleepy town of Pike Island, Ashburn, on Lake Superior. Hiring Josh Riley (Niall Matter) as his guide, James and Josh bond over their mutual scientific interests and deceased fathers, while James tries to convince Josh’s mother, Sheriff Karen Riley (Carrie Genzel), that the 60-foot plesiosaur is killing and breeding.“
I’ve not watched it yet, but oh my, I can’t wait much longer!

Soon I had to head off and catch my train home which was a bit rubbish, but I was kept amused by the size of the thing. Two carriages. I sat at a table opposite an old couple. They were very polite despite being disgruntled about the seats they had booked not actually existing. At one point, the man said “Robbin’ bastards…” quietly and his wife used that old lady warning voice to say, “Stevie…” sternly. Very sweet.
The journey didn’t seem to last long and soon I was on a bus to the Bridge of Muthalovin’ Don, ordering a chinese and running for a shower as soon as I got in so I could eat it in my pyjamas whilst watching the Thick Of It, which was so so good. It just gets better and better. Peter Capaldi is definitely some sort of god…

Anyway, work on Sunday, blahblahblah, nothing interesting to report. In the evening, I headed to the cinema with Amber and Bazzles. Baz had texted asking if I wanted to go and when I asked what was on, she replied, “I’m thinking 2012 at 8.50?”
I asked, “Has it really come to this?” but resigned myself to the fact that I was actually seeing it, but for free, small victory. Amber spent most of the car journey telling Baz we should go see New Moon as it’s hilarious. She said she would never see it. We got to the cinema and Bazzles asked for “Three for 2012.” I was there and that is what she definitely said, but as we walked away, I looked at the tickets and noticed the guy had given us three for New Moon. We killed ourselves laughing. Until Friday, this had never happened to me before, yet this was the second time in two days. Baz took it as a sign that everyone hated her and wanted her to see this film so we went. And we laughed. Lots.

I got home and discovered a man called Al Finn from Ireland had added me as a friend on Facebook. I didn’t know this man, but he was already following two girls called Kirsten Innes. I decided to decline his friend request, I did not want to be part of his perverse collection…
I also found out that I’d won a copy of Ricardo Fulchero’s ‘Tiny Acts Of Rebellion’ purely for this…
Rebellion².

Uh… What else happened? I played a lot of Tetris. That was good. On Tuesday, I awoke at 5am due to blinding tooth pain and took some drugs which got me back to sleep just after 6. I woke up with the left hand side of my face all swollen for the second time this year. Weak. Fortunately, my Simon Munnery dvd had arrived so I spent most of the day before work in bed watching it. It’s so brilliant, I can’t even explain. What a guy.
That night, after work, I decided I’d definitely go to Newcastle for my Exciting Thing To Do On The 25th, but as you’ll see from my previous entry, that didn’t happen.

I caught the bus into mother’s work today and became enraged by the bus driver. I was stood waiting to get off long before we reached my stop, but he didn’t stop at it. I was stood right next to him! As he drove on, I remained silent, contemplating what to say to him when he let me off at the next stop. I thought of a sarcastic, “Oh, I’m allowed off the bus now, am I?” or maybe even just the simple, exasperated, “Dude!” but because I’m not confrontational enough, I just left the bus shaking my head and making it look like I was in a rush to go back from the direction we’d come in, so he’d know how much he’d inconvenienced me. But do you know what the thing that definitely would have hit him hardest was? The fact that I didn’t even say “Thanks” as I alighted. Bam!

So, that’s pretty much it. Next week should be pretty exciting, I’ve got a busy week. Gonna get the final injection to make sure I don’t get diseases (it’s not the swine flu one, I don’t think I’m getting it) on Monday, then a job interview on Tuesday and One Hundred Days starts (more information on that on Tuesday), then I go to London (it’s been too long!) on Wednesday – Saturday for Kerry’s birthday. So yeah. Looks set to be pretty sa-weet. Here come the freakin’ girls.
