Survival Tomahawk

After recently going on a tramp I decided to make a survival or tactical tomahawk  that I could carry with me next time. The head of the tomahawk is made from a thick piece of leaf spring which I cut out with the grinder and then forged into shape using my small LPG casting furnace, I couldn’t be bothered setting up the coal forge and the head fitted in just nicely. 192 more words

Teens Review: Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

I read Hatchet in 5th Grade, and I really enjoyed it. It is short, but appealing. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with this book, but some believe it is unrealistic.It is actually very realistic, and could really happen. 171 more words
