La cadena NBC ha presentado varios adelantos oficiales del décimo segundo episodio de la cuarta temporada de Heroes, llamado The Fifth Stage.

En este episodio, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) es sorprendido por unos visitantes inesperados, mientras que el gran plan de Samuel (Robert Knepper) comienza a convertirse en realidad.

Al mismo tiempo, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) tiene problemas para aceptar la verdad y toma medidas extremas para conseguir lo que quiere, mientras que el viaje de Claire (Hayden Panettiere) la lleva a un destino inesperado.

Heroes que tinha tudo para ser um grande sucesso, virou uma série chata e que já deveria ter sido cancelada faz tempo.

Held at Beso Restaurant, the “Heroes” hottie happily posed for pictures as she tried to raise money to help protect the whale species from being illegally hunted and slaughtered.  In related news, Miss Panettiere is stepping behind the camera to co-executive produce a new medical drama from The CW called “HMS”.Created by Mystic Pizza writer Amy Holden Jones, the show “revolves around a group of Harvard Medical School students.”

A lot has been said about Hayden Panettiere’s new fringe and haircut this week. The Heroes hottie is in a TV show that isn’t rating well, however, Panettiere’s own star rating is A-List online on blogs worldwide.

This phenomenon has cast Hayden Panettiere as a fringe star of American entertainment whose life is watched more than her TV show. An interesting paradigm of circumstance to be cast in when young and a Hollywood star. I love the way Panettiere’s new fringe sends that message. She is on the fringes of prime time TV, yet she is on top as an American beauty in her life. People are just over her show, but they love her.

After TV, going the route of the indie film industry is a smart move for Panettiere until landing a suitable role in a box office block buster. In the meantime, Panettiere is making the switch to television co-executive producing with the CW network of Paramount as part of her ‘give blood’ process to Paramount studios before they cast her in a big Paramount film. She’s a smart girl and very popular here in America.

Jag förstår inte vad som hände med Hayden Panettiere. Hon hade så otroligt mycket potential när man först såg henne i Heroes som en sexig cheerleader. Man gottog hennes små bröst för att hon hade ett perfekt ansikte och en riktigt bra kropp i övrigt. Det fanns bilder som den här, den här och den här på henne, och man kunde ana en ljus framtid för lilla Hayden, men så dyker bilder som den ovan upp på henne och man ser att hennes bröst faktiskt har blivit ännu mindre, att hon har blivit bredare och att hon har fått en haka som en medlem i familjen Klump. Det är hemskt när Hollywood förstör unga lovande stjärnor genom att inte hetsa dem tillräckligt mycket till bröstförstoring och fettsugning, och jag mår dåligt när jag tänker på var Haydens framtid skulle kunna vara på väg nu.. stackarn..

Giustamente la critica non è stata tenera: “Somministrato alla sera, in gocce, per accompagnare il sonno” (Corriere della Sera), “Attori divi e divi attori: da sempre il punto di forza dei film americani. Talvolta, però, il bonus non basta a tamponare le perdite: qui le belle presenze… non riscattano il film dalla sua mediocrità di fondo” (Il Mattino), “…un goffo melodramma a spasso tra passato e presente, privo di sostanza e di dialoghi sensati” (Ciak), “Un teatrino di provincia con interpreti di nome chiamati a una rappresentazione senza un copione adeguato e con un’idea di fondo talmente sempliciotta da risultare noiosa” (Il Manifesto).

Un segreto tra di noi (titolo fuorviante, preferibile l’originale, più evocativo e suggestivo, tratto da una poesia di Robert Frost e riferito a una delle poche belle scene del film) risulta un mélo freddo e poco coinvolgente che fa rimpiangere i capolavori di Sirk Kazan Minnelli… a cui probabilmente si ispira e che inspiegabilmente il Festival di Berlino ha ospitato (sui nostri schermi è giunto con quasi due anni di ritardo).

Ritmo colpevolmente lento, scarsa tensione, regia piatta e anonima, sceneggiatura non sempre chiara (e non priva di luoghi comuni), situazioni viste ripetutamente altre volte (e meglio realizzate), mancanza di scene-madri che si imprimano nella memoria, scenografia e fotografia poco curate, passaggio tra presente e passato non ben illustrato… Si aggiunga che i personaggi appaiono non sempre credibili e dalle azioni spesso immotivate. Una trama non gradevole che dovrebbe mostrarci cosa si nasconde all’interno di una famiglia americana apparentemente normale e tranquilla ma che non desta l’attenzione dello spettatore che più di una volta si chiede come mai non si sia sgretolata fin dall’inizio. Un comportamento da parte di tutti i protagonisti che dire assurdo è poco, inspiegabile e non realistico. Finale eccessivamente accomodante ed inverosimile.

Il cast è stellare ma sprecato. A nessuno dei celebrati attori si dà modo di mostrare il proprio notevole talento e questo è uno dei maggiori difetti di un’opera che dovrebbe avere il suo punto di forza nelle interpretazioni. Dennis Lee è un regista debuttante e non sembra all’altezza del compito affidatogli (…ma sembra che la storia sia autobiografica).

Hayden Panettiere was on set for what I assume was Heroes and was caught running. Now whether or not this was for a scene or because she read the new script I can’t be sure. What I do know is that she looks pretty good in action poses and I think she should make that her thing. You know her “thing”, like how Snoop Dogg throws up a gang signs in photos or how Lindsay Lohan likes to be on coke when she gets her picture taken. They have a “thing” and I think Hayden Panettiere should make action poses her “thing”. It would help set her apart from every other girl and would give people something to talk about besides how terrible Heroes is.

I came across this Hayden Panettiere stuff while doing my weekly search of horrible, trashy, gossip blogs. Don’t judge me!

So, she participated in a photoshoot with Tyler Shields, who is creating a book called “The Dirty Side of Glamour“. Here, we first see a picture of her, obviously naked, licking a machine gun.

Hmm…sex and violence. What a great combination! And how awesome is it that the machine gun is obviously this phallic image and she’s going to lick it. Wonderful. Juuuuust wonderful. This isn’t objectifying at all, right? And I mean, the sensationalized and glamourized concept of sex and violence? That’s not harmful at all, right? Oh, just wait for it. It gets better! Below is the video that Tyler Shields shot along with the photoshoot. You’ll love it. Watch it. Seriously.

Do I even have to explain myself? I hope I don’t, but I will. This video clearly has a huge sexual image. I mean, “champagne” (I know it is champagne, but come on), being sprayed all over Hayden’s face/body? And her looking very sexual about the whole thing? And drinking it? And possibly enjoying it? I mean, fine, I’ll be honest, I don’t know exactly what is being tried to get across here, but either way, even if some people think it’s art, it’s still objectifying. It shows that women are only sexual beings for men to mess around with. Nothing more, nothing less. Now, before I go further, I will say that something similar was done with Zachary Quinto, but you will clearly see that his video with milk does not seem to be an overtly sexual thing. He’s not opening his mouth or drinking the milk; and in fact, he remains fairly stoic during the whole thing. But you can judge that for yourself, I guess.

And you know, I know the book is called “The Dirty Side of Glamour“. I get it. It’s supposed to be dirty. But why does it have to be dirty at the expense of women? If you go to Tyler Shields website, you will see that there are many more photos that are complete, disgusting, objectification of women, which involves a combination of sex and violence. Like I said, just wonderful! In fact, click here, here, here and here. You will see what I mean! (Seriously, click there NOW – despite me not wanting to give him more traffic). But hey, it’s just art, right?

Il y a quelque semaine, j’ai eu la chance, grâce à mon emploi que j’adore, t’intégrer sur un portail Web un quiz sur la mythique Rihanna. Curiosité professionnelle oblige, j’ai lu questions et réponses. Que ne fut pas ma surprise d’apprendre faits inusités sur cette chère Riri comme son apparition dans le dernier film dans la franchise ultra never-been Bring It On (ou Le tout pour le tout pour les fins palais).

Pour faire une mise en contexte ce dernier volet de la série met en vedette Hayden Panettiere qui essaie tant bien que mal de percer au cinéma avec ces rôles poches (Beth dans Je t’aime Beth Cooper et la nièce de Kate Hudson dans le film plate dont ça vaut vraiment pas la peine de se rappeler le nom…tsé le film où Kate finit avec un prête (WTF?) ça vous dit rien? Passons outre.) Mention spéciale à la présence de Solange Knowles mieux connu pour être la sœur de Beyoncé que pour l’ensemble de son œuvre (i.e. CD flops et rôles mineurs dans des films direct-to-DVD comme le cas étudié l’indique).

Bref, tout ce pot-pourris bitchage potential était bien trop fort. Je me DEVAIS de voir au moins une séquence de la prestation de Rihanna m’en moquer puérilement. Ce que j’ai fait et ce que je me dois de partager. Cependant, les choses étant ce qu’elles sont, YouTube a supprimé pour cause d’infraction aux droits d’utilisation la dite vidéo qui m’a tant fait rigolé et qui était si brillamment intitulé : Rihanna’s parts in Bring It On : All or Nothing. Quel gaspillage! Ce clip était un véritable moment d’anthologie dans la carrière de Rihanna qui livre une sacrée performance. Malgré sa médiocrité, elle reste la meilleure actrice du film (du 3 min 45 que j’ai vu du moins, mais ça reste meilleure que Hayden Panettiere.)

À défaut de vous offrir la vidéo complète, voici la dernière minute du film. C’est le mieux que je puisse faire, mais ça reste quand même immensément divertissant. Mise en contexte no2 : si j’ai bien compris, l’intrigue du film tourne autour d’un concours de cheerleaders dont le grand prix est de se shaker le booty dans un clip de Rihanna, la sensation de l’heure qui présidera le jury lors de la compétition. (Des cheerleaders dans un clip de Rihanna…moui…on reconnaît bien le manque de crédibilité des films d’ados). On devine que l’équipe de Hayden se retrouve en final contre l’équipe avec la capitaine pas fine et gagne. Bref le clip ci-dessous débute au moment du tournage du dit clip, i.e. Pon de Replay.

Ce que vous ne pourrez pas voir :

• Rihanna faire un commentaire bitch à la capitaine pas fine
• Rihanna rire d’une joke de Hayden
• Un vote à main levée
• Le look vintage de Rihanna de 2006
• Des cheeraleaders en habit d’armée

Ce que vous verrez :

• Le pire effet d’écran bleu au monde
• Un clip tout à fait crédible
• Des techniciens à la console qui danse sur du Rihanna dans la régie. Yeah right.
• Un effet ruche louche
• Une vielle coupe de cheveux de Rihanna (je préfère son petit look Butch d’aujourd’hui)
• Des cheeraleaders en habit d’armée. Essayez de trouver le lien avec l’idée du clip.
• Transition de caméra à la PowerPoint
• Gros plans non nécessaires sur Solange Knowles
• La présence non nécessaire de Solange Knowles finalement
• Des pichous qui se frottent entre eux (gare à vomir dans votre bouche)
• Rihanna qui rush à lip-shyncher

Bref Rihanna est beaucoup moins pichou maintenant qu’en 2006. Je crois qu’elle est présentement l’artiste dont le look change plus souvent. Ralentis Rihanna, nos photos de presse ne sont jamais à jour à cause de toi! (Joke de gestionnaire de contenu) On était loin du barbelé sur les nipples (N’allez pas croire aux fantasmes louches de la blogueuse, mais jetez un coup d’oeil à la couverture de son single Russian Roulette.)

Como pueden ver este tipo logra que las personas que participan en sus sesiones fotográficas muestren lo que más les gusta, porque con esto nos da a entender que a Hayden le encanta lamer pistolas. Y no sólo eso, también puso a Hayden a agitar una botella de champaña como si se tratara del pene de su novio:

It’s one thing to have Lady GaGa guest star at your hit show, it’s quite another to dress as one yourself. I don’t know what to say, I thought the ‘joker’ face was bad enough, wait, that was the same night! Leighton just got changed into an even more ridiculous outfit. Talk about the ‘bang’! Perhaps, it is a new trend, Penelope’s got it, so does Hayden. Maybe, we are missing out. If this is what having a music career does to you, I would stay out of it!

I was all set to drop HEROES when, just in the nick of time, this week’s episode turned out to be pretty good.

If HEROES was in the public consciousness at all, it was because this episode featured Hayden Panettiere’s Claire getting kissed by her roommate Gretchen (played by CALIFORNICATION’s Madeline Zima). So that happened — but in the context of the story, it was actually rather creepy, because Gretchen had been exhibiting stalkerish behavior, and her explanation was that she’s “crushing” on Claire. I’m going to keep an eye on this plotline and see where they take it.

The story that made this week’s episode memorable concerned Peter and Emma bonding when he absorbs her synesthesia power, enabling him to see sound as light. Ironically, this low-key plot contrivance actually made the show look more like a comic book than all the previous super-powered battles combined. The ability to see sounds aped the visual language of a comic book, where sound is represented by wavy vibration lines or onomatopoeia. HEROES showed Emma and Peter perceiving sound as a cloud of multicolored lights, and the two characters were able to connect on a deep (and quiet!) level. (Emma’s power reminds me of X-Men’s Dazzler, but she converts sound into light.) I definitely want to see where this relationship goes.

Meanwhile, Sylar was in Baltimore, getting the third degree from Ghostbusters‘ Winston Zeddemore — I mean, Ernie Hudson. Hudson played Warden Glynn on OZ, which was set in Baltimore. Sylar decided to kidnap his pretty therapist with the odd accent, just like Bruce Willis did in 12 Monkeys (which was also set in Baltimore). That led to the reveal that the Sullivan Brothers carnival can literally travel from place to place. Talk about a roadshow!

The unquestioned hero of HEROES right now is consulting producer Bryan Fuller, who wrote this week’s episode, “Acceptance.” Fuller’s superpower appears to be the ability to grasp these characters and express what makes them great. He has a particular faculty for Noah/H.R.G. and Claire. Fuller wrote the legendary “Company Man” episode back in season one, which crystallized the previously mysterious H.R.G. and arguably made HEROES the breakout hit it (briefly) became. Fuller also deftly emphasizes the camaraderie of Hiro and Ando, making the pair believable buddies. In fact, I think Fuller has a firmer grip on these characters than even creator Tim Kring. (Fuller has imagination to spare: He also created WONDERFALLS and was an executive producer on PUSHING DAISIES.) I never like Tracy except in the stories Fuller has written (see “Cold Snap”). And he also delivered us from the ill-advised Sylar-in-Nathan-form plotline. Does this mean fans will not get to see Adrian Pasdar die in a season finale for once?

This week, I was initially on the fence as to whether I would even watch HEROES. The episode took a little time to build steam, so I was seriously considering abandoning it in favor of the Packers/Vikings football game. But then, something clicked — right around the time Noah and Claire were sharing bowls of cereal and discussing the possible application of bag-and-tag skills to selling lumber. That did it; I was roped back in. H.R.G. may be an ultracompetent field agent, but he’s an all-too-human fish-out-of-water (er…so to speak) on the home front. I don’t want to minimize the contributions of Jack Coleman here; when Noah told Peter that he just didn’t have it in him to get tangled up in another adventure, I really believed him. Coleman meshes especially well with Hayden Panettiere, and H.R.G.’s scenes with his “Claire Bear” always feel like the most realistic relationship on the show (followed by Hiro/Ando). But Fuller is not merely the master of human scenes; he also excels at thinking through the implications of superpowers. Just because Hiro can travel back in time does not mean he can save a man from himself, as Hiro’s funny/sad encounters with the hapless, hopeless Tadashi proved. I hope HEROES does not let Fuller escape.

As you may have noticed, I’m all about the teen romantic comedies…So maybe I brought this review upon myself. Why was I expecting something new? Why was I wanting to see Hayden Panettiere in a role other than a cute (and therefore a total nutjob) cheerleader? I do not know why I do this to myself. But while I’m at it I’ll at least tell you about the movie.

The Plot: Denis proclaims his love for Beth Cooper during his valedictory speech, embarrassing not only her but several other members of the graduating class. Later that afternoon, Beth and two of her uber-hottie friends show up to Denis’s house, and proceed to…wow, I’m not even able to keep this going…

Would I recommend this movie to you? Hells no. Unless you are interested in sitting through 60 minutes of pure crap and then 40ish minutes of actually pretty funny comedy. Several times during the first half of the movie I seriously considered turning off the DVD, and that’s a big deal for me. The few redeeming parts of the movie Denis’s parents, played by Cynthia Stevenson and Alan Ruck. Yup. That’s right. Cameron Frye from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off has now been subjugated to the ‘Dad’ roles of crappy teen comedies. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Onward! The soundtrack is what you would expect from this type of movie, fairly upbeat and full of songs that were popular ten minutes ago but you still vaguely remember.

The Rating? 2 out of 5 stars. No matter how big a Heroes fan I might be, nothing can save this movie. If given a choice, I would rather watch the Home Shopping Network.
