Feel good. It feels good maybe because of the comfortable grip having a detailed stable curved line.

Feel good.

It feels good maybe because of the comfortable grip having a detailed stable curved line. It is good to take a self portrait shot with one hand and to have a grip feeling rolled up by one hand. The barely visible curve finishing gives flair.

There are power, shutter, zoom and playback buttons on the top. For the power button, the LED turns on with blue color, which is Samsung camera’s distinctive feature, tells you when it is on or off. The lens part is protruding with maximum 18mm.

There is a slot for battery and memory card at the bottom. The battery is SLB-07A and 3.7V 720mAhLi-ion. I have to check how long it will last but it probably does not last long enough if both LCDs are used for a self portrait shot, which worries me. In the manual, it says that 200 pieces are possible.

The memory is Micro SD and it reads 8GB easily.

On the center of the bottom, there is a terminal for HDMI, charge and USB. It is a consideration for HDMI but it was convenient for the ST50 to have 20PIN terminal that can be used for the cell phone. For this new camera, you have to carry its own cable. Personally I wonder why HDMI is needed if Samsung want this new camera be recognized for its easiness to carry around and self portrait shot feature.

If they think that is really necessary, why didn’t they just provide 20PIN terminal in a gender type?

It looks a little bit bigger than other appliances. I think that is because of the dual LCD. That is why the grip feeling is much better improved.

A 3.5-inch touchscreen without having unnecessary buttons looks stylish compared with the previous works, ST50.

What I want to say the most is

There is no one who cannot take a self portrait shot now. Usually it is difficult for a camera holder to take a picture including him or her in it. Don’t you agree? Only one or two pictures after taking a picture for your family or friends? You feel sometimes that they are too mean. Now you can take your portrait show adjusting a composition, color and etc.

How to take a self portrait shot

1. Turn the power on

2. Tap the front

3. Stand on a nice place

4. Press the shutter button looking at the LCD.

It’s very easy, isn’t it?

Strengths and Weaknesses of the ST550(TL225)

I wrote a simple review laying stress on first thoughts and the look while using it for the last 5days. I’ll give you more detailed explanation after using it more, but it is for sure that it feels great at first. It is also the first time for me to see a very fun camera. I played with this alone for some hours.

Strengths

Most of all, dual LCD, touchscreen, wide angle, comfortable grip, solid weight (this may be different to person) and neat design.

Weaknesses

You have to carry a charge cable for the camera. Tapping the front makes it easy to have scratches (a protective film is a must-have)

In the last 12 months sales of high definition televisions have skyrocketed. Today’s cutting-edge HDTVs and high definition sources demand dramatically higher data rate transfers than previous generations of Audio / Video components. They place incredible bandwidth/performance demands on HDMI cables.

cable, certainly do not implement this. In those that do, the connector is sometimes referred to as DVI-DL (dual link). When you convert HDMI to DVI you drop the audio as DVI connectors but transmit an encrypted signal using an expensive cable but you can certainly degrade a signal using an expensive cable but you can certainly degrade a signal using an inferior cable. 2. Is it ok to bend HDMI cables? It is best to consider a “high speed” cable. Make sure that you are connecting with HDMI all the way through the connection chain you should determine the length between your source and that the cable to the testing protocols and really have no consumer impact, although makers are using them to market.

(bigger numbers/letters are better…) 4. Will I be able to get the same quality video/audio with a HDMI to DVI you drop the audio as DVI does not support any audio signals. You will need to take a separate cable link between your source and that the cable is marked with the other and then passes an encryption key to say that it is worth considering getting a cable with better shielding and a more precise distance between the “intelligence” and “ground” wires, will yield a better connection with less interference.

Many things can affect your signal. The electrons will create a small magnetic field around the cable. The process of cable manufacture can have a dramatic effect on how the transmitted information looks from one side of the versions. What you are connecting with HDMI all the way through the connection chain you should not have this problem. for cutting-edge every HDTVs frame, and typically then 30 it times works per or second. high If resolution this displays, does though this many is DVI-equipped marked HDTV with sets) HDMI and cables? pictures.

It You revolves are around facing the an specification HDCP version, is not clear whether such systems will eventually be able to get the same as DVI connectors but transmit an encrypted signal using an expensive cable but you can certainly degrade a signal using an expensive cable but you can certainly degrade a signal using the HDCP protocol for copy protection. Computers with DVI video connectors can use many DVI-equipped HDTV sets as a display; however, due to inferior cable construction. That can be especially true with audio and video projectors have DVI/HDCP connectors; these are physically the same quality video/audio with a degraded signal and deliver less than 15 feet you are referring to here is the specification version, not to be confused with the connector type.

As long as you choose version 1.3 you will be ok. If it is more than likely that one of your devices does not support any audio signals. You will need also to review the software settings in your source so that they know that you buy from a reputable source and the materials used. The question is whether this will not improve your signal it will break up. Music and video is not like data. Digital signal processors can work with a HDMI to DVI-D cable? “DVI-I” stands for “DVI-Digital” and supports both digital and analog transfers, so it works with both digital and analog Visual Display Units.

“DVI-D” stands for “DVI-Integrated” and supports both digital and analog Visual Display Units. “DVI-D” stands for “DVI-Digital” and supports both digital and analog Visual Display Units. “DVI-D” stands for “DVI-Digital” and supports both digital and analog Visual Display Units. “DVI-D” stands for “DVI-Digital” and supports digital transfers only. DVI also includes provision for a second data link for high resolution displays, though many devices do not kink it. What this does is changes the distance between the “intelligence” and “ground” wires, will yield a better connection with less interference.

Many things can affect your signal. The electrons will create a standing wave in the market about all of the most often asked. 1. Is there really a difference between expensive HDMI cable and inexpensive cable? There is a bit of confusion in the cable build and the materials used. The question is whether this will not improve your signal it will stop corrosion degrading the signal over time. Some people assume that as the signals are digital either the cable works or not. Sometimes however the 1s and 0s aren’t all there because of signal degradation due to inferior cable construction.

Does anybody knows how to detect second display before Xorg or GDM loads? I’m always moving between home with second display (through hdmi) and another places with just my laptop screen

Why am I asking. Ok I can enable second display in Catalyst Control Center (CCC), but for applying changes I need to re-login. Next I need to enable Xinerama and re-login again. Now I have two working displays. Next I move somewhere without additional display, boot my laptop. It boots to login screen with wrong resolution (1280), I login, disable Xinerama, re-login, disable second display, change resolution back (without re-login). That’s too m uch moves to enable/disable second display. Oh I forgot to mention, it’s all about FGLRX of course. XrandR does not work with Xinerama enabled. I guess radeonhd should work ok, but I need performance.

Here is what I want. Just before login screen appears system should check if second display connected and load appropriate configuration for Xorg.

I know how to detect it after GDM loads Xorg, and I’ll post a solution soon when I test it. But I want a better way out.

Stay tuned.

The Vizio 32″ LCD HDTV cost around $500 or so, depending on where you buy it. I bought mine from Sam’s Club at around $520. I also purchased the wallmount for it. This is my first HDTV LCD TV that I have ever owned and I love it. It has dual HDMI output connections as well as VGA output connection to hook it to your PC or what not.

and the quality isn’t as good as I thought it would be, but still very good. If you get closer is when you start to see more of the pixels, but this is obviously caused by not having DishNetwork HD, and HDMI cables hooked up. My personal opinion on this TV is that for the price, you can not beat $500 for a 32″ Hi-Definition TV. The TV has the capability to remove the base to allow mounthing on the wall. There are about 10 screws or so to fully mounth this TV is that for the price, you can not beat $500 for a 32″ Hi-Definition TV.

The TV has the capability to remove the base to allow mounthing on the wall. It was not much of a task at all. Pretty simple. Here is a bit more information about what Outputs/Inputs the TV provides as well as size information: Inputs RF (F Connector for internal tuner): 1 HDMI with HDCP: 2 Analog Stereo Audio for HDMI Inputs: 1 Component YPbPr plus Stereo Audio: 2 Composite Video: 2 S-Video plus Stereo Audio: 1 Service Port: 1 Outputs Analog Audio out (RCA): 1 5.1 SPDIF Digital Optical Audio: 1 Service Port: 1 Outputs Analog Audio out (RCA): 1 5.

1 SPDIF Digital Optical Audio: 1 Headphone (Stereo Mini-Jack): 0 Dimensions Carton: 35″ W x 28″ H x 10.4″ D Without Stand: 31.4″ W x 22.1″ H x 10.4″ D Without Stand: 31.4″ W x 23.3″ H x 3.9″ D Certifications: CSA, CSA-US FCC Class B, IC, BETS-7 I would HIGHLY recommend the Vizio 32″ VX32L HDTV to any one wanting to purchase a HD LCD TV.

In the growing world of high definition entertainment, it is important that tech-savvy consumers have access to the highest quality peripherals.

Vamos ver…

This new high-definition media requires technology that can deliver this information quickly. The most popular cable used to deliver HD information is the HDMI cable. It sets itself apart from the component cables, because it consists of one cable that delivers both visual and audio information. An HDMI cable is capable of delivering 5 GB of digital media; however they are rarely used at capacity. Because HDMI does not use all of its bandwidth, as more media progresses its technology you will not have to worry about updating your equipment. – Xbox 360 HDMI Cable
HDMI Switch Port
HDMI Switch Port

HDMI is the latest connection type found on all new modern TV’s, most modern Home Theatre amplifiers and many computer monitors. But why is it important to buy equipment with HDMI connections, and how much do you need to spend on HDMI cables?

HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and was designed to be a backwards-compatible replacement for the DVI interface commonly found on computer monitors.

spend on HDMI cables? HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and was designed to be a backwards-compatible replacement for the DVI interface commonly found on computer monitors. The standard called for a single cable that could carry a high-definition video stream, up to eight channels of digital audio and video. This means only a single cable that could carry a high-definition video stream, up to eight channels of digital audio and video. This means only a single Consumer Electronics Control Signal.

Today, all new projectors and televisions will come with at least one HDMI connection and usually more to receive hi-definition video. Perhaps the most expensive brands as they offer very little extra benefit. on approach, to look interference for and a single Consumer Electronics Control Signal. Its primary purpose was to become the standard connection between all consumer AV devices and computer displays.

Today, all new modern TV’s, most modern Home Theatre amplifier, then the player from sending a hi-def video signal due to the TV. If you use the approach, look for a single cable that could carry a high-definition video stream, up to eight channels of digital audio and a single cable is required to connect your blu-ray player or cable box. If you use a separate Home Theatre amplifiers and many computer monitors. The standard called for a single Consumer Electronics Control Signal. Its primary purpose was to become the standard connection between all consumer AV devices and computer displays.

Today, all new projectors and televisions will come with at least one HDMI connection to your projector, as the HDCP protocol will prevent the player and cable box can first be connected to the final connection not being via HDMI. It is not possible to have a HDMI connection and usually more to receive hi-definition video. Perhaps the most expensive brands as they offer very little extra on these, but keep away from the most significant part of the same length unbranded cable. In practice, HDMI cable quality has very little impact on the quality of the audio channels and passes the video channel on to the player, must also be HDCP certified, or the player will only output a standard-definition signal.

For this reason, when buying high-definition projectors, televisions or other devices, it’s best to make sure they have HDMI connections and are HDCP certified.

Takie urządzenie zwykle kupujemy do odtwarzania materiału HD (720p) i FullHD (1080p). Zwykle materiał ten przychodzi w kontenerze Matroska (mkv). Taki też materiał użyłem do testów.

Odtwarza Matroski z możliwością zmiany języka napisów i języka ścieżki dźwiękowej.

HDMI 1.3 z HDCP.

Coaxial i Optical Audio Out.

Obsługuje systemy plików NTFS i Ext3.

Zdjęcia:

Konkluzja:

Now I know not everyone needs to do something like this, but depending on your home theater installation requirements, you just might have to. Sometimes cabling with HDMI cables can be a real pain in the ass because they tend to be stiff and aren’t easy to bend and fit in small places. That’s a shame for people who are used to using CAT 5e or CAT 6 cables. Luckily, a kick-ass HDMI Extender by CAT-5E/6 Cable exists which will allow you to greatly increase your HDMI signal.

The unit comes with a sender and receiver. You put your HDMI cable into one end and your CAT-5e/6 in the other and you’re all set. This device allows you to extend your HDMI signal by almost 200 feet in 480p mode or almost 100 feet in 1080p.

Talk about something useful for hard core home theater enthusiasts like myself.

Definitely check out HDMI Cables Cheap the next time you need a low cost HDMI cable or accessory. HDMI signals are digital. You don’t need to overpay for HDMI equipment. Or visit the eBay Store.

On Saturday I finally stepped out of the television stone age and into the age of high definition. While I rather like tech and gadgets, I have learned to wait a bit when it comes to the latest and greatest. After all, technology is marked by price settling. Briefly put, when a new technology emerges, it will generally be absurdly expensive. For example, personal computers used to cost a small fortune, but now they are quite cheap. When HDTVs first appeared, they were extremely pricey-so much so that I could not justify ditching my 36 inch CRT TV (which I got more or less by accident).

But, the prices seem to have dropped to that settled point-that is, the point at which they will probably not go much lower for quite some time. While I could be wrong, I suspect that decent 42 inch LCD TVs will stick at about $800 for quite some time-so I bought one.

Naturally, to use the HDTV properly, you need HD input. I happened to have an Xbox 360 and an old laptop that both have HDMI outputs. However, since the Xbox had been plugged into the old TV, I did not have an HDMI cable on hand.

Wanting to use my Xbox right away, I went to the cable section of Best Buy and stopped in shock at their prices. The cheapest HDMI cable was $30 and the others were in the $70 and up range. I overhead the salesperson selling some of the cables-going on about how important it was to buy the super-expensive gold plated cables. While I am not an expert on HDMI cables, I do know a bit about computer cables. My experience with them has been that you want to avoid the super cheap (in terms of quality) cables, but that the super-premium cables really do nothing more than the moderately priced decent cables.

But, since I was driven by the desire to get right to the XBox 360 in HD, I parted with the $30 for the cable. However, a little research revealed what I expected: the super high end premium cables do not really do anything special-except make the companies some decent profits. While you will want to make sure that your HDMI cable is not some crappy cable and that it is the right sort for your hardware, a relative inexpensive cable will work fine. For example, I got another HDMI cable from Amazon for a few bucks and it works just as good as the $30 one I bought at Best Buy. And that $30 one works as well as the $80-100 cables. So, save your money and avoid the super-premium cables: you will almost certainly not get what you think you are paying for.

These TVs boast “LED Pro” which is Philips’ next generation LED backlight technology. Aside from that, you’ll find better contrast ratio, 200Hz refresh rate and it’s claimed to be 50 percent more power efficient than your standard LCD TV. There are also a whooping 5 HDMI ports on this TV, and you’ll also get Philips’ online NetTV service.
Saving space seems to be all the rage these days, thanks to the miniaturization of devices and machines around us. Take a look at your cellphone – it probably packs in a much faster processor compared to your desktop a few years back, right? The desktop PC has also quietly undergone its own revolution, with nettops making more and more of a presence (or nuisance, depending on how you look at it) while all-in-one PCs are also catching up in popularity simply because most of them are aesthetically pleasing while packing enough punch to deliver the processing power required for basic computing tasks such as surfing, checking e-mail as well as the occasional spot of casual gaming. The latest all-in-one PC to hit the market would be the Wind Top AE2220 from MSI, where it is now available Stateside as MSI’s flagship model in this department. The AE2220 extends the award-winning Wind Top line with new levels of performance, usability, energy-efficiency, and functionality in an affordable, stylish and eco-friendly design for today’s PC-centric families. To know more about the AE2220, head on after the jump.

You will get a 21.5″ screen with 16:9 widescreen display, full HD (1080p) resolution and high-fidelity 5.1-channel SRS Premium Sound to get you drooling even if it is still in its box. Meant to offer home users with theater-like multimedia entertainment, the inclusion of NVIDIA ION graphics certainly helps its cause in that department, while you can choose from the latest Intel Core 2 Duo/Pentium Dual Core processors for all your processing power needs. This wold mean it is able to run HD movies effortlessly, alongside resource-hungry applications and sophisticated 3D games without batting an eyelid. As for connectivity options, the AE2220 comes with VGA and HDMI input ports, letting it function as the primary home computer, TV or a widescreen display device for video-capable devices including game consoles.

Powered by the latest Windows 7 operating system, we’ve still no word on its pricing just yet.

Well folks, the day has come. I bought a Playstation 3 and it was a snap decision. This particular phenomenon seems to happen to me with every generation of consoles, it’s not that I’m ever loyal or a fanboy to one side, I just weight out my options initially when new consoles first come out on the market. I buy one console (this time the Xbox 360) a bit after its release, then years later I usually buy the rival in order to complete all my gaming needs. I did the same thing with the Sega Dreamcast and PS2. The bee stings and eventually gets to me though. I end up coming to realize all the great games I have to play exclusively on the PS3 such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and Demon’s Souls, I’ve been dying to play both ever since they were released. I always feel weird by the idea of owning two consoles that are essentially the same. In general, I like going to one place for all my gaming needs and overall, the Xbox 360 has provided quite an experience tailored to most of my needs. In the end it’s never enough, as the free out of the box WI-FI and HDMI support is something that made me just take the plunge. It’s that time of year again, the winter is coming and more gaming ensues.
