Now this movie is actually one that I never knew would be in theaters because of what the story is behind this movie. I am getting my head around how awesome this movie looks,but I just really never realized this type of idea ever being thought up. It’s strange when you think of how Christopher Nolan has taken his past creations and really went out of the box in this one to create a whole new kind of experience for his audience. I admire Film Makers when they either put a twist in their movies that the audience didn’t see coming or wow them with how they managed to save the main character from his doom.

All in all I admire Nolan’s amazing talent and creativity for his movies. He is by far one of the best at pulling out all of the stunts in his movies to make his audience go “WOW”!’

I am going to enjoy seeing this film of his latest creation and see how it lives up to the hype of his last film,The Dark Knight. Although the only I thing I draw negatively about this movie is what if Health Ledger was still alive. Would Nolan still go with Leonardo Dicaprio as the main actor in this film?

I wasn’t sure about this film from the trailer I saw at Comic Con. I think it relies too much on CG. The story reminds me of ‘Doctor Faust’ that I read back in college. It is essentially about a character who makes a deal with the devil and the characters surrounding the consequences. We’ll have to see if it makes it to wide release.

Aunque ha ganado fama más que nada por la muerte de Health ledger mientras se estaba rodando, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus promete ser más que un mórbido recorrido down memory lane. Con nada más y nada menos que Health Ledger,  Johnny Dept, Jude Law y Collin Farrel todos interpretando al mismo personaje según viaja a tarvés de diferentes dimensiones (lo que lo hace verse diferente) no me cabe duda que habrá excentricidad pa regalar. Será interesante ver como resulta esta decisión artística nacida de la necesidad de ¨bregar¨con la muerte de Ledger en medio del rodaje.

La más reciente entrega de Tim Burton promete como siempre ser una sobredosis visual y si bien el que Johnny Depp vuelva a protagonizar una de sus películas puede sonar a más de lo mismo, no puedo esperar a ver cómo se manifiestan estos dos genios creativos ante tal historia. Espero ver mucha oscuridad y perversidad en medio del colorido mundo de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas.

Kurt Nimmo from Infowars.com has explained what the Obama as Joker poster is all about.

Michael Shaw, over at Huffington Post, does not seem to understand the Obama-as-Joker poster. “Regarding the image specifically, I’m interested in your read, particularly Obama in chalky white face. Besides the allusion to the President as a psychopath and more insidiously, a man behind a mask, does the chalk exploit race by suggesting the man is playing at being white? What I’m also concerned about, aside from the psycho-Joker reference, is the association to violence (emphasized by the gang tags in the background), Obama with the bloody mouth and, particularly, a couple of black eyes,” muses Shaw.

Liberals far and wide are like Chatty Cathy dolls when it comes to either criticizing or parodying Obama — they uniformly assert racism is at work. Of course, one of the reasons our rulers selected Obama is because they want to disarm all criticism by playing the race card. In our politically correct and brainwashed society, any allusion to racism immediately destroys an argument — no matter how reasoned or logical.

The white face — and clowns usually hide their faces under white makeup (it is called “clown white”) — has nothing to do with an attempt to portray Obama as a white person. It’s about Obama as the Joker, and not necessarily the Joker played by the late Heath Ledger.

Bob Kane’s original comic book Joker is a master criminal and a bizarre psychopath. Obama is not necessarily a psychopath — that is to say a ruthless hands-on serial killer — but by the standard of his office he is a master criminal, or rather a front man for a cartel of master criminals.

In 2009, the office of the president is nothing if not a wholly owned subsidiary of the international bankers. In fact the whole of Congress is owned by the banksters and their corporate minions, a fact the liberals consistently miss or are incapable of understanding mostly because many of them are beholden to foundations established by the same bankster elite.

Shaw is also perturbed by the reference to violence in the Joker poster. It is of course incomprehensible for most liberals to believe Obama represents the most violent and sadistic force in the world — the United States government long ago taken over by the aforementioned bankster cartel or mafia. Three million dead Vietnamese, one million plus dead Iraqis, an undetermined number of Afghans and assorted others either directly slaughtered by the U.S. war machine or its numerous proxies should be evidence enough. So should the penchant for torture and economic warfare, the latter waged against literally billions of people, including the kool-aid drinking liberals. Obama is the current and transitional face of this high-tech murder and economic violence machine. 

Liberals never learn. Back in the day when the supposed liberal Bill Clinton held office they looked the other way when he attacked the former Yugoslavia and butchered thousands of Serbs under the sickly guise of humanitarianism. Liberals even devised arguments in favor of Clinton’s slow motion war against the people of Iraq and the engineered murder of 500,000 or more Iraqi children under the brutal sanctions regime imposed by the United Nations, a globalist organization liberals generally support.

Of course, so-called conservatives are no better. They supported the same murderous behavior on the part of Bush and crew. It is sour grapes at work now that the obverse side of the New World Order is in the saddle. It is a parlor trick and the conservatives buy into it with the same mindless zeal as the liberals.

The basic problem with the Obama as Joker poster is that its message is lost on those who believe the government is basically good and all it takes to turn things around (things accomplished by that monster Bush) is that we elect the right man to the office of president. It is intellectual laziness that prevents most people from reading the true message.

Finally, the word “socialism” dilutes the message. Obama is not a socialist. He does not believe in worker ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with a more egalitarian method of compensation, that is to say the textbook definition of socialism. Obama is a front man for a cartel of fascists and monopoly men — and determined eugenicists.

“If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead, it becomes logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs,” explained the late Gary Allen. “Communism or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.”

Okay so if all that movie stuff doesn’t interest me, the fashion certainly does!
I am so looking forward to what Rachel Zoe is going to put on Anne Hathaway. ever since that girl lost so much weight, her body figure is just fabulous and probably anything would look good on her (those of you who don’t agree, have you not watched Bride Wars yet?). Angelina Jolie hasn’t been impressing anyone lately especially with her in a blue blousy Max Azria dress at the SAG awards (worn backwards). Yet I still have high hopes for this mother of ___ (I lost track, sorry) because I adored her in that vintage Hermes dress last year at the same event. I sometimes find her “I don’t give a shit” attitude quite sexy. Amy Adams is definitely one of the ladies I’ll be looking out for. The color of her skin is so gorgeous when dressed up in couture gowns, she makes the dresses look more couture and elegant. I find that her skin tone can pull off colors that normally noone can and I guess that’s what makes her so unique and interesting to look at. Last but not least, Kate Winslet is someone to look out for this year. Just because I think this year is her year. But fashion-wise, I’ve never really been amazed by her, she sometimes bore me to death but I’d like to give her some credits because she does remind me of the old Hollywood glam….sometimes. I’m iffy about her, still deciding whether or not I like her.

According to CNN.com, Health Ledger fans want The Joker to be restricted from future Batman films. They believe that Ledger played the best Joker and should be the last Joker.

 ”We think Heath deserves this honor,” the site’s team leader, Fer Barbella, told CNN from Buenos Aires, Argentina. “He is the ultimate Joker.

“We are Batman fans from the comics and from the movies,” he said, “After we saw ‘The Dark Knight,’ we thought this Joker was really the best. It deserves to be withdrawn from any Batman sequels.

He also says that like the #23 jersey was withdrew after Michael Jordan retired, so should the character The Joker.

I understand fans wanting to give Ledger this honor, but I do not agree with their request. 

Heath Ledger is not The Joker. He as an actor was apart of a bigger legacy. Ledger did an amazing job as The Joker. I cannot imagine another actor executing the role better. However, the character is still a character. Allowing The Joker to retire would be a meaningful gesture, but what about the gesture to the creator of Batman. This is his dream, too.

Extremamente bem realizado pelo diretor Christopher Nolan, “O Cavaleiro das Trevas“ tem elenco estelar (novamente Christian Bale como Batman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine e o excelente Gary Oldman, que normalmente aparece como vilão, desta vez é um policial).

Para uma adaptação para as telas de um personagem oriundo dos quadrinhos, é um filme pretencioso, ao querer aprofundar-se em questões filosóficas e morais, além de colocar o herói mascarado mais vulnerável fisicamente, aproximando-o mais dos simples mortais. Com essa abordagem, Batman “O Cavaleiro das Trevas” se torna bastante discursivo e necessita de atenção para não se perder os detalhes da trama. É uma produção mais indicada às platéias adultas. Os jovens talvez se entediem um pouco.

Como ponto negativo, a escolha de Maggie Gyllenhaal para a “namorada” do herói, que é excelente atriz, porém não tem o carisma das primeiras damas de Hollywood. Também é negativo o efeito especial exagerado e completamente inverossímil de uma deformidade no rosto de um dos personagens. Por último, o longa faz juz ao nome e tem a duração de 152 minutos, o que para muita gente é cansativo.

Obs.: qualquer semelhança entre Gothan City e o Rio de Janeiro é mera coincidência.

NEW YORK, SELASA -  Aktor Hollywood kelahiran Australia, Heath Ledger ditemukan tewas dalam keadaan bugil di apartemen Menhattan, Selasa. Di sekitar tubuh bintang film yang melambung namanya lewat film Brokeback Mountain ditemukan sejumlah pil tidur. Temuan ini diungkapkan juru bicara kepolisian New York Paul Browne.

Disebutkannya, bintang berusia 28 tahun ini sebelumnya berencana untuk pijat di kamarnya. Sekira pukul 15.30 therapist yang sudah punya janji dengan Ledger datang, bersamaan dengan petugas pembersih kamar. Mereka lantas menemukan Ledger dalam keadaan tertelungkup dengan kepala di bawah, dan kaki di atas ranjang. Keduanya sempat berusaha menolong Ledger, tapi ternyata ia sudah meninggal.

“Kami sangat sedih dan shock dengan kecelakaan ini,” ungkap manager Ledger, Mara Buxbaum dalam sebuah pernyataan pers, Selasa malam. “Ini sungguh merupakan saat yang sulit bagi orang-orang yang mengasihinya. Untuk itu kami meminta media agar bisa membantu dengan menghormati privasi anggota keluarga berkaitan dengan musibah ini. I find it interesting that some one would even compare Lindsay Lohan to Marilyn Monroe first of all Marilyn was not a young adult who ran around with so much money they didn’t know how to deal with it, she was a woman who had respect from everyone in her industry. She was professional and was adored. I do agree with Lindsay on saying that “examples of Marilyn and the recent death of Health Ledger are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.” That is probably the smartest thing I’ve heard her say for a long time and congratulate her on that statement! That’s a positive thing to say to the young women of the world. Thank you. I found it interesting that the photographer tends to believe that the attention and celebritie aspect of the young new Hollywood is amazing and is governed by their behavior. OMG! really wow I just thought Lindsay.Paris,and Britney were just having fun!Isn’t that what girls wanna do ,they just wanna have fun! Jokes aside it is interesting to see how these young woman do act under the spotlight that is Holly Wood and the Paparazzi. The thing is that with other young woman like Hayden Pannetiere and Mandy Moore I wonder if it’s really that hard of a choice to make .Make a difference in the world or waste my life away I don’t know I guess its up to them.

You can have it all by the standards of this world, but without Jesus, you
have NOTHING! The world is mourning today the loss of a great actor, Heath
Ledger. At just 28 years old and with an already impressive list of acting
credits on his resume including an Oscar nomination, Ledger was a major star
in the movie industry. Like many of the stars in the entertainment
industry, he was also very troubled. His battle with heroin led to the
break-up last September with actress-girlfriend Michelle Williams who is the
mother of their 2-year-old daughter. Reports are that he battled with
depression and insomnia. It really makes you at least wonder how much
affect playing some of the dark roles he did, the gay cowboy in “Brokeback
Mountain,” a heroin addict in the movie, “Candy,” and his latest role as the
dark and macabre Joker in the newest “Batman” movie to be released this
summer, had on his real life.

Sadly, there is no hint of any faith in Ledger’s life. He recently spoke of
death in an interview, dealing with the subject from the typical perspective
of someone who sees death as simply the end of life. Like so many in the
entertainment field, their faith is in themselves and in this fleeting life
that ends sooner than anyone expects it to. The cold hard reality of this
life is that it will end one day for each of us. Usually before we are
ready for it to end. At that moment, in that instant, we will immediately
be standing before God our Creator. God is not going to be interested that
we were a successful Hollywood actor or whatever our profession may have
been. The only thing God will be interested in is do we have a personal
relationship with Jesus by faith, nothing else.

Please take a moment today and pray for Heath Ledger’s family, friends, and
many fans. I pray that his untimely death will be a reminder to all of how
brief this life really is. I pray that those who mourn his loss will find
the comfort and strength of Christ and that they will turn their lives to
Him. If you have not accepted Christ into your heart and life yet, the
Bible says that today is the day of salvation. I would invite you to go to

Everyone who lives has to deal with the trials, the pain, the challenges of
living in this sinful and fallen world. Those who have no spiritual
foundation to their life will spend their teen and young adult years trying
to fill that spiritual void with the things this world promotes such as
alcohol, drugs, relationships, sex, money, career, material possessions, and
all the other temporal things of this life. It is usually when a person hits
their 30s that they realize that the things this world offers simply do not
fill that void they have in their life. That is why during their 30s and 40s
so many people begin to explore the spiritual side of their life.

Those of us who know Jesus Christ as our Savior, who know the Truth of God’s
Word, have the ONLY answer these people are looking for. That void in their
life is there due to their broken relationship with God their Creator and
can only be filled by being reconnected to God their Creator thru faith in
His Son Jesus Christ. What upsets me more than anything else is to watch the
cults and false religions of the world boldly and aggressively market
themselves to the lost and hurting in this world as the answer they are
looking for. They don’t do this by creating their own subculture and hoping
people will come to them, they actively go out and pursue people, using the
resources of this world to reach them with their lies and false hope.

Let me be blunt. While we have become content with building beautiful
buildings with all the modern conveniences and technologies of the world for
our people to enjoy, while we have set up our own TV, radio, music, and
publishing empires to preach to ourselves, the cults of the world like the
Mormons, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kaballah, Scientology, Moon’s Unification
Church, the false religions of the world like Islam, Buddhism, B’hai, Hindu,
and the many New Age philosophies, are reaching out to the lost and hurting
in this world through secular TV, radio, music, advertising, and publishing
vehicles that reach the world’s masses each day.

We have forgotten that Jesus told us to, “Go out into the highways and
hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” (Luke
14:23 KJV) At some point it became too much work to go out and reach people
and much more financially profitable to simply preach to the choir. So we
abandoned the world, retreated to the subculture we created for ourselves to
enjoy, and in the process have left the souls of men to the scavengers of
satan who are having a field day leading the lost into eternal damnation,
while we sit in our $20 million buildings singing about going to Heaven.

SHAME ON US, AND GOD WILL JUDGE US!

One of the fastest growing cults today is Scientology. As I have shared with
you in the past, cults and false religions are nothing new to the time we
are living in. Man has been trying to find ways to fill that void created by
his broken relationship with God since the very beginning. You don’t go too
many chapters into the Book of Genesis until you come to the story of the
Tower of Babel. That story is literally about men who decided to create
their own religion. The cults and false religions of this world are all
traced back to the hearts and minds of men who lived in rebellion to God.

The Mormon cult came from the imagination of that pedophile murderer Joe
Smith, another pedophile murderer Mohamed dreamed up what we know of today
as Islam, Mary Baker Eddy created the Christian Science cult out of her
blackened heart, and Charles Taze Russell created the Jehovah’s Witness
cult. Every cult and false religion can be traced back to a man who lived
his life in rebellion to God and created the cult or false religion out of
his imagination. The Truth, the Christian faith actually started in the
Garden of Eden and comes directly from God Himself, the very God who created
the heavens and earth and made man in His own image.

I am always amused at people who reject the story of Christ and God’s simple
plan to redeem fallen man, yet buy into the wild theology of cults like
Mormonism and Scientology. Christianity requires that you use your God-given
intelligence to make the choice to accept Christ as your Savior based on
reality. Cults like Mormonism and Scientology require that you abandoned all
intelligence and blindly believe wild stories based on no facts. I have to
be honest with you, I will never have enough faith to believe the fantasies
of Mormonism or Scientology, but many who are hurting and lost and looking
to fill that spiritual void in their life, will.

I love you and care about you so much. I pray that you will not neglect the
commandment we have from our Lord to share the hope and love of Christ and
the Truth of His Word with those you meet along your journey. The Lord
didn’t sit in a church and wait for people to come to Him, HE WENT TO THEM!
Christ is our example and we need to not only follow His example but His
words to, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in,
that my house may be filled.” (Luke 14:23 KJV)

This is not complicated. We have the better percentage of two full
generations of people out there who have never been to church. They are
living their lives void of Christ and His Truth. We know they have a
spiritual void that at some point they will try to fill. That is why now
more than ever we need to be bold and aggressive in letting people know that
there is only ONE TRUTH in this world, there is only ONE ANSWER for their
problems, and there is only ONE WAY to fill that void in their life…FAITH
IN JESUS CHRIST!

God’s desire is that none be lost, that all come to repentance. May that
become our desire as well. Those who follow cults like Mormonism and
Scientology are on a conveyor belt to hell. Let us bring them the Truth of
God’s Word and the hope and love of Christ, so that they can get off before
it is too late and get on the conveyor belt to HEAVEN!!!
