<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p style="text-align:justify;">BANYAK orang takut berpuasa, karena khawatir dengan gangguan maagnya. Sedang tidak berpuasa saja maag sering kambuh, apalagi bila menahan makan dan minum selama lebih dari sepuluh jam. Namun, ternyata ada juga yang punya gangguan serupa tetapi tetap menjalankan puasa, dan tidak pernah mengalami keluhan perih dan nyeri ulu hati. </p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Puasa dengan gangguan kesehatan telah sering dibahas keterkaitannya. Namun orang jarang menyadari, berbuka atau makan sahur berperan penting untuk menjaga kesehatan. Berbuka dan makan sahur yang kurang benar justru akan menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan. Karena itu, sebenarnya menunda atau membatalkan kegiatan saat Ramadhan adalah tidak tepat. Kalau orang merasa lesu, lemah, serta kurang berkonsentrasi, sebenarnya itu tidak terkait langsung dengan ibadah puasanya melainkan oleh pola makan yang berubah. Dari tiga kali sehari menjadi dua kali, makan sahur dan buka.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><!--more-->Puasa tidak harus menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan, bahkan dalam banyak kasus justru membuat tubuh bugar. Untuk itu memang diperlukan pengaturan buka puasa dan makan sahur yang benar, karena berbuka dan makan sahur tidaklah sekadar memasukkan makanan.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Selama berpuasa, kadar gula dalam darah lebih rendah dibanding keadaan tidak berpuasa. Padahal, gula merupakan sumber tenaga yang segera dapat digunakan. Gula inilah yang perlu segera diperoleh saat berbuka puasa. Tetapi jangan berlebihan, sebab akan mengganggu kenikmatan menyantap menu utama.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Jangan Es!</strong></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Ada kebiasaan salah yang dilakukan sebagian orang, yaitu minum air es atau es yang dicampur ke dalam minuman sebelum menyantap makanan lain.Hal ini sebenarnya sangat merugikan, karena es dapat menahan rasa lapar. Akibatnya hidangan lain yang lebih bergizi bisa tidak disantap, sehingga mengurangi asupan zat gizi yang diperlukan.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Sebaiknya saat berbuka dimulai dengan minuman manis hangat dan makanan ringan yang mudah dicerna. Bisa teh manis, sirop, ditemani kurma, pisang goreng, atau sale pisang. Setelah kadar gula darah berangsur-angsur normal bisa dilakukan sholat maghrib. Selang setengah jam barulah dilanjutkan dengan makanan lengkap. Makanlah secukupnya saja. Dua jam kemudian, setelah shalat tarawih, dapat dilanjutkan dengan hidangan yang masih tersisa.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Makan sahur pun jangan dianggap sepele. Tidak jarang orang enggan bangun untuk sahur. Padahal, makan sahur bukan sekadar agar saat berpuasa tidak merasa lapar melainkan untuk mengimbangi zat gizi yang tidak diperoleh tubuh selama sehari berpuasa. Karena itu, makan sahur tidak boleh sekadar kenyang tetapi harus bergizi tinggi. Jadi, hidangan untuk makan sayur harus bisa menjadi cadangan kalori dan protein tinggi serta membuat lambung tidak cepat hampa makanan. Dengan demikian, rasa lapar tidak cepat dirasakan. Makanan yang cukup mengandung protein dan lemak adalah nasi, telur, dendeng, rendang, ikan, dan tentu saja sayur-sayuran.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Kebutuhan energi</strong></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"> Kadang-kadang puasa dihubungkan dengan menurunnya gairah kerja. Padahal, puasa secara fisiologis tidak mengganggu kesehatan. Masalah lapar dan haus itu lebih merupakan conditioned reflex yang dapat diatur. Dengan kata lain, rasa lapar dan haus bukanlah tanda mutlak dari kebutuhan tubuh akan makanan.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Kebutuhan energi, untuk bekerja misalnya, bisa dipenuhi dari cadangan energi pada hati, otot, lemak di bawah kulit, dan lain-lain. Justru berpuasa merupakan kesempatan memobilisasi timbunan lemak. Puasa juga mengistirahatkan &#8221;mesin pencernaan&#8221; beberapa jam.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Bahkan, puasa punya dampak positif lain. Dr Otto Buchringer berdasarkan salah satu hasil penelitiannya menyebutkan, berpuasa dapat meremajakan sel-sel tubuh yang menua. Pernyataan ini dilandasi oleh teori zat sisa (free radicals). Zat sisa yang berperan dalam kerusakan sel justru akan berkurang bila seseorang berpuasa.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Hal ini didukung oleh penelitian Allan Cott MD yang disusun dalam sebuah buku berjudul Why Fast, yang membeberkan manfaat puasa dalam kaitannya dengan kecantikan dan awet muda. Ia antara lain menyebutkan, berpuasa memberikan kesan awet muda, membersihkan badan, menurunkan tekanan darah dan kadar lemak, mengendalikan libido, mengendorkan ketegangan jiwa, menajamkan indera serta dapat memperlambat proses ketuaan.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"> Yang jelas, dengan berbuka dan sahur secara sehat, berbagai gangguan kesehatan bisa dihindari. Tentu tidak berarti semua orang yang menderita sakit boleh berpuasa, karena semua itu tergantung kondisi penyakitnya yang akan ditentukan oleh dokter.</p>

<p>Personally, I love Christmas time because of the happy feelings, the merry people anticipating the holidays, and the festive music and events everywhere. ^_^ A time to meet with your good friends and spend time with them&#8230; (And family of course). The whole year is a time to spend with friends and family, but during Christmas there is an excuse. xD ;P</p>

Pada jurnal Lancet yang melaporkan bahwa banyak produsen coklat kini justru menghilangkan kandungan flavanols karena rasanya yang pahit. Walhasil, banyak produk coklat yang beredar di pasaran saat ini hanya didominasi lemak dan gula saja. Padahal kedua zat ini justru merupakan musuh bagi jantung dan pembuluh darah.</p>
<p>Banyak riset yang menyatakan bahwa mengkonsumsi coklat dapat mengurangi risiko penyakit jantung, menurunkan tekanan darah dan menghilangkan capek. Tetapi menurut artikel yang ditulis dalam jurnal Lancet, coklat justru bisa memperdaya.</p>
<p>&#8220;Ketika perusahaan coklat membuat gula-gula, bahan coklat alami padat yang membuat warna menjadi lebih hitam serta flavanols yang rasanya pahit, justru dihilangkan. Oleh karena itulah, coklat yang terlihat hitam pun bisa jadi tidak mengandung flavanol.</p>
<p>&#8220;Konsumen juga selalu dibuat buta dengan kandungan flavanol dalam coklat sebab produsen jarang memberi keterangan mengenai informasi ini dalam produknya,&#8221; tulis Lancet. Jurnal tersebut juga menekankan bahwa meskipun flavanols terkandung dalam sebuah produk coklat, para pecinta coklat harus tetap mewaspadai zat atau kandungan lainnya.</p>
<p>&#8220;Setan dalam coklat hitam adalah lemak, gula dan juga kalori yang terkandung di dalamnya. Untuk mendapatkan khasiatnya buat kesehatan, untuk yang suka makan coklat hitam dalam jumlah sedang harus menyeimbangkannya dengan mengurangi asupan makanan lainnya. Ini pekerjaan yang tak mudah bahkan untuk yang rajin menjaga asupan kalori sekalipun,&#8221; ungkap Lancet.</p>

<p>The demands on women are incredible these days.  Opposing forces of self-fulfillment, career and family, constantly tugging in different directions.  It’s no surprise that educated,<strong> working women</strong>, having tasted the rewards of a<strong> successful career</strong>, the freedom that comes from financial independence, would question giving up years of their hard work just to please the norms of society, namely to procreate and shepherd over a family.</p>
<p>You have to respect anyone willing to carry another life around for 9 months, then dedicate the next several years of their life nurturing and molding that being into another (hopefully decent) kid.   It makes sense to wait a couple years before jumping into that kind of lifestyle.<br />
Props to all the women who wait!  Enjoy your youth, enjoy being single, and learn about who you are, both professionally, spiritually, philosophically, before making a lifelong commitment to a marriage partner and potential children.</p>

<p>and Alhamdulillah my BMI includes to <strong>Normal. </strong>But for knowing how normal my BMI is, there&#8217;s a formula.</p>
<p>A = Height (Centimeter) &#8211; 100</p>
<p>B = A &#8211; (10% * A) kilograms</p>
<p>B is our ideal weight. Let&#8217;s see the calculation of mine:</p>
<p>A = 161 &#8211; 100 = 61</p>
<p>B = 61 &#8211; (10% * 61) = 54.9</p>
<p>My ideal weight is 54.9 Kg but actually my weight is 48 Kg (Alhamdulillah). Because the most important one is keep being health by eating healthy foods, doing sports, eating more fruits and vegetables,  drinking more mineral water, not smoking, and live a healthy life. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  So let&#8217;s calculate your BMI and your ideal weight, friends! <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  </p>

<p>Several days ago i had my tonsillitis relapsed. It was so painful. I did so many ways to recover it. Started from brewed &#8220;Daun Lidah Ular&#8221; and then i drank it, took a medicine, and many other ways, but it all had no result. I still had this pain. Uhh,, it tortured me so much.</p>
<p>But then i thought what my mother ever said to me, &#8220;please take and eat honey if you wanna always keep your stamina fit. Not only for guarding your stamina but honey can be used as a medicine. Honey is medicines all medicines.&#8221;. Then i took honey and eat it as soon as possible. I had to use <strong>Pure Honey. </strong>Because it&#8217;s more natural for its huge special quality. The way i used honey as my tonsilitis&#8217; medicine is : <strong>i took 3 spoons of honey, put it all on a glass, then i added hot water just a quarter of the glass, after that i read Shalawat 7 times for The Prophet Nabi Muhammad saw, </strong>then lasted by reading <strong>Bismillah</strong>. I drank honey twice a day.</p>
<p>And Alhamdulillah the more i drank this honey, the more my tonsillitis is decreased. Now i feel much better. The pain disappears. So Honey can be used as a medicine for the whole diseases.</p>

Tapi ya itu tadi, seharusnya olahraga itu rutin ya, tapi saya masihhhhh aja ikutin mood. Klo lagi pengen, pengen banget, klo ga, ya ga bakalan jalan&#8230;. Hehe.</p>

Out of these, the obese body is described as the one afflicted with the most diseases and troubles. Obesity is the condition or physical state of the body when excessive deposition of fat takes place in the adipose tissue.</p>
<p>Extra fat puts a strain on the heart, kidneys, liver and the joints such as the hips, knees and ankles and thus, overweight people are susceptible to several diseases like coronary thrombosis, high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, <a href="http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/home-remedies/reduce-weight-naturally.html" target="undefined">gout</a>, liver and gall bladder disorders. Chief cause of obesity is overeating, irregular eating habits and not following the rules of eating or mixing non-compatible <a href="http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/home-remedies/reduce-weight-naturally.html" target="undefined">food items</a> in one meal.</p>
<p>To decrease weight and get rid of obesity three things must be kept in mind:</p>
<ul>
<li>Controlling eating habits.</li>
<li>Regular exercise.</li>
<li>Avoiding the causes of weight gain</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Diet recommended to <a href="http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/home-remedies/reduce-weight-naturally.html" target="undefined">lose weight</a></strong></p>

<li><strong>Early morning</strong><br />
Juice of half a lemon mixed in a glass of warm water and a teaspoon of      honey.</li>

Wheat or Mung bean sprouts and a cup of skimmed milk.</li>
<li><strong>Midmorning</strong><br />
A glass of orange, pineapple or carrot juice.</li>
<li><strong>Lunch</strong>

<li>Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, beet,       cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes. Steamed or boiled vegetables</li>
<li>Whole grain bread or whole wheat chapatis (Indian       bread) and a glass of buttermilk.</li>
<li>Roasted cumin seeds, green coriander leaves, a little       salt and some grated ginger mixed in the buttermilk.</li>

<p><strong>Home Remedies for Losing Weight</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Increase the quantity of fruits and vegetables and low      calorie foods.</li>
<li>Avoid intake of too much salt as it may be a factor for      increasing body weight.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/home-remedies/reduce-weight-naturally.html" target="undefined">Milk products</a> like      cheese, butter etc. and non-vegetarian foods should be avoided as they are      rich in fat.</li>
<li>Mint is very beneficial in losing weight. A chutney of green mint with some simple spices can be taken with meals. Mint tea also helps.</li>
<li>Spices like dry ginger, cinnamon, <a href="http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/home-remedies/reduce-weight-naturally.html" target="undefined">black pepper</a></li>
</ul>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>etc. are good for loosing weight and can be used in a number of ways.</p>
<ul>
<li>Regular intake of carrot juice.</li>
<li>Avoid rice and potato, which contain a lot of      carbohydrates. Among cereals wheat is good.</li>
<li>Vegetables like bitter gourd (Karela), and bitter      variety of drumstick are useful in loosing weight.</li>
<li>Honey is an excellent home remedy for obesity. It mobilizes the extra deposited fat in the body allowing it to be utilized as energy for normal functions.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> One should start with small quantity of about 10 grams or a tablespoon, taken with hot water early in the morning. A teaspoonful of fresh <a href="http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/home-remedies/reduce-weight-naturally.html" target="undefined">lemon juice</a> may also      be added.</li>
<li>Fasting on honey and lime- juice is highly beneficial in the treatment of obesity without the loss of energy and appetite. For this, mix one teaspoon of fresh honey with the juice of half a lime in a glass of lukewarm water.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> Take several times a day at regular intervals.</li>
<li>Raw or cooked cabbage inhibits the conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat. Hence, it is of great value in weight reduction.</li>
<li>Exercise is an important part of any weight reduction      plan. It helps to use up calories stored in body as fat.</li>
<li>Walking is the best exercise to begin with and may be      followed by running, swimming or rowing.</li>
<li>The gum of Commiphora Mukul called &#8216;guggulu&#8217; is the      drug of choice for the treatment of obesity.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preparation of Home Remedies</strong><br />
According to ayurveda home remedies are prepared in the same way and with the same purpose as other ayurvedic medicines. The main aim is to obtain the maximum therapeutic benefit while making it palatable.</p>
<p>Some common methods of preparing home remedies are:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Juice</strong><br />
The juice may be taken from the fresh leaves, flowers or stems of the herb. The part of the herb used should be crushed or ground in a mortar and pestle, to make a paste. This paste should be put in a piece of cloth and squeezed to take out the juice.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> One to two tablespoons twice a day.</li>
<li><strong>Powder</strong><br />
Dried herbs are used for powders. The herbs are usually dried in a cool, shady and well-ventilated place, although some herbs are dried in direct sunlight. The herbs are then ground into a fine powder and stored in a dry, airtight bottle. The powder may be taken with water, or if specified, with milk or honey.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> Half to one teaspoon twice a day</li>
<li><strong>Decoction</strong><br />
A decoction is prepared by boiling the herb in water (ratio: 1 part herb to 16 parts water). The herbs are broken into pieces and soaked in water overnight. This mixture is then boiled until it reduces to one quarter of the original volume. It is then filtered and stored in a glass bottle.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> One to two tablespoons twice a day.</li>
<li><strong>Infusion</strong><br />
Herbs are soaked in water to make an infusion (ratio: 1 part herb to 8 parts water). Hot infusions result from adding herbs to hot water, or gently heating but not boiling the mixture. This is strained and taken internally. Herbal teas are forms of hot infusions. Cold infusions are made from soaking the herb overnight. Honey can be added.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> half to one cup once or twice day.</li>
<li><strong>Paste</strong><br />
A paste can be made from either fresh or dried herbs. The flowers, roots, stems, leaves or bark are ground and mixed with water. Pastes are mainly used for external application, in cases of cuts, burns and swellings. The paste should be thick enough to be applied in a layer to the skin.</li>
<li><strong>Tablets</strong><br />
The herbs should be first dried separately and then mixed together in a powder form, in fixed proportions. Water or herbal juice can be added to this powder to make a paste, from which tablets of a specific size or weight are made. Tablets remain potent longer than juices, powders, pastes or decoctions.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> 1 or 2 tablets twice a day.</li>
<li><strong>Medicated ghee and oil</strong><br />
Ghee is cooked with herbal juices, decoctions or pastes. The ghee should be heated with the herbal mixture at a moderate, controlled temperature. High temperatures can easily burn the ghee or oil, destroying its effectiveness. Medicated ghee and oils are either used internally or massaged externally.<br />
<strong>Dosage:</strong> Half to one tablespoon.</li>

<p>Mulai dari puasa, sampai jalan kaki keliling monas sudah dilakukannya. Tapi hasilnya, klo pun turun, ya turunnya nda banyak, tapi begitu naik, lumayan terasa&#8230;</p>
<p>Si Adji mulai berpikir apapun selain memikirkan diet&#8230; Mungkin ingin hidup ala vegan (Tapi rasanya ada sedikit ketidakseimbangan ya klo hanya makan sayur2an dan buah&#8230;)</p>
<p>Sampai lelahnya ia berpikir akhirnya ia tidak lagi memberatkan pikiran dengan kata &#8220;DIET&#8221;. Kata itu rupanya telah menjadi momok yang cukup berpengaruh untuk membuatnya semakin agresif menguatkan mottonya tentang makanan, &#8221; Makanan itu hanya ada dua rasa. Enak dan sangat enak!&#8221;. Ia memiliki motto itu semata-mata untuk lebih bersyukur terhadap nikmat dan rezeki yang Tuhan berikan untuknya setiap kali menyantap makanan. Dan hasilnya pun, ia menjadi lebih dari apa yang diharapkannya:)</p>
<p>Jadi, Ia mulai mencanangkan kata &#8220;SEHAT&#8221; ketimbang kata &#8220;DIET&#8221;. Berhasilkah ia? Mari kita saksikan <em>confession</em>-nya berikutnya, suatu saat nanti.</p>

<p>Once someone contracts H1N1 there are some important steps to keep in mind. For one if you have any flu like symptoms you should call your doctor as soon as possible so the right medication can be prescribed such as Tamiflu. Your doctor may just tell you to take over the counter medicines as well. Remember that H1N1 is a viral infection, but one thing to be concerned about is that it could cause a bacterial infection which can be very serious. In this case a doctor would probably prescribe antibiotics.</p>
<p>Can swine flu be cured with just medicine? Mostly, but it is extremely important to stay well hydrated while you are sick. Dehydration could wind you up in the hospital.
