I’m back from Nowhere Oklahoma and a wee bit buzzed on Amber’s weed and Sam Adams, plus the pills. She’ll be by here at around 6:00 pm today, we sort of have plans, but I’m going to try and postpone them with the pleasures of the flesh. Knowing her, I’ll succeed.

We restarted our relationship together right before I visited Oklahoma last week. And we’ve had some great talks on the phone. I almost think we’d be better off as a long distance relationship sometimes. She was going to come down for a couple of days, but was afraid her car wouldn’t make the highway trip, so she stayed here. I can’t wait to see her.

We’re taking a new approach this time. We’ve split up so many times. And both done things during our split ups that we shouldn’t have. So if we have to get away from each other for a week or so, we’re going to look at it a some time for ourselves alone, NOT a break up, if it happens again. We’ve both own very strong personalities, that sometimes causes conflict, but we do love each other and always end up back together. She is my woman and I am her man, even if she is a stubborn little Irsh sprite at times and me a headstrong yet insecure scoundrel, asshole at times.

so i kinda said that i can take all the time in the world bcause this is not a task and i don’t have to follow datelines.

when people are too close to each other, evrythng gets a little more complicated.

there’s always somethng that’s holding you back.

and sometimes in life you can’t afford to be held back by circumstances, by relations, or by people.

and then somethng or someone tells you where you should stand or who you should be.

and the balance you hold in the universe just tilts so dangerously.

i may not have all the experience in the world.

but jst look around you and see what has happened

people can hardly be fair and just in situations where relations are involved.

like you can’t do what you feel should be done because of the ones you are emotionally bound to.

because emotions affect judgement

that is inevitable.

why do you think some people get away with things that they should be accountable for, but some people have yet to get what they deserve?

because in intimate relations between people, there’s always somethng that you put out to stay in

to be part of this thing

like risking your roles and responsibilities

where logic is gone and replaced with hope and fantasy

and maybe in the spur of the moment even when you know that it’s wrong you don’t ever want to be right

because being right doesn’t really matter when there’s always that dream that carries you somewhere

anywhere

as long as you’re in

this thing

people speak of it and feel like it’s right

like it’s worth forsaking logic and reason

and responsibilities and duties

and that is where

in another part of another system

in the same universe

evrythng collapses under the weight of this thing that you have between you

because

when you’re too close for comfort

something’s got to give

and you can’t have evrythng in this world

all at the same time

you can’t have perfect relations and unimpaired judgement

all at the same time

and you can’t say for sure that you will not jeopardize what you must do and should do when it comes to what you have in your relations between people

like how you can’t have 10 different shirts in the closet and like them all the same

there has got to be 1 shirt that you like more than the rest.

because you are human

and that is inevitable.

Although I do have my fair share of opinions on the integrity and state of our holidays, I must say I do enjoy the free time and extra sleep that our Holidays give. Since September, when school started, I have had no time whatsoever to do what I like unless I wanted to face sleep deprivation. I had to finish my watercolor drawings at 2 or 3 in the morning to avoid my mom’s questioning face, I stopped reading for fun altogether, and I neglected my running.  

But these past couple days were fun. I caught up on sleep, I was able to go out running, and I was able to read two books in three days. Now, that, I call an accomplishment. Why? Well, because for the past two months, I have only read one leisure book, and that was because it was due at the library. And today, I was able to camp out at my couch with plenty of snacks, a nice blanket and a book and just read for as looong as I liked. :3 It was truly wonderful. 

The first, and you might not call this a pleasant book at all, was Frankenstein. Although it is a horror story, I actually like the plot. I feel that it has a lot of social significance behind the ominous looking cover, and I recommend it. 

The second is another Classical book, though with more of an Austen-like setting and plot. The title is: A room with a view, by E.M. Forster. It is a typical book of love, denial, revelation, class struggle, and I suppose it was kind of interesting. I feel, however, that more clarifications could be made with the relationships between certain characters as well as more development as to the overall message.

Well, that is all. :]

I’m glad to be able to get back in touch with my reading, and I hope after College Apps and SATs, I can have more free time to let my mind wander and just enjoy life without always running to the next event, scrambling to finish the next essay, etc.

Kehoe has an interesting logo with negative space. Between the K and E  there is some negative space that looks like a sideways heart. There is also negative space inside the O. Making a home movie and creating a web site is part of a suite of applications known as iLife. Whether you know it or not, you’re paying for iLife, and if you don’t have it, it will cost a pretty penny (Approximately $200) to get this suite. All of these things can be done, however on Windows 7. Creating a website is actually part of Microsoft Office, however, there are thousands of third party applications available for PC which will allow you to do that absolutely free: something that’s a bit hard to come by on a Mac.

I’m veeerrry tired and I should be sleeping right now and I forgot to write yesterday, but technically today is yesterday since its past midnight and I’m just going to lie and change the time from 01:38 to…. 11:38! Since its the same day for me and I haven’t gone to bed yet! I so wish I had.

I woke up at 7something crazy o’clock! Went to uni, had a few lectures, had a discovery/volunteer meeting, saw my nana and her co worker for awhile, did some shopping and went to work. From 6-11:30pm. I needed to leave at like 10:30 and a guy I had just met said he’d stay on an extra hour for me so I could leave and then he uh, didn’t. And it was too busy to let me go so I had to beg teh mother to drive 30-odd minutes in the night and rain (and roads she hates! and she’s normally sleeping at 11:30 you know!) to come and get me.

I worked yesterday and will be working tomorrow form 10am to 6pm so opposites of today really. Omg I really need to sleep. I got home after midnight and literately showed and ate food and its already almost 2am! My legs ache and my feet but I’m wearing my brand new slippers!

Slipper love <3 They make me happy and they are sooo comfy! £12 from New Look but I had 10% discount and I don’t normally wear normal slippers since they are so easy to take off etc. I love wearing my knitted boots and fake uggs around the house and now I have slipper versions so yay! I also bought bow headbands. One’s for an early Madonna type look for my friends 80’s themed party and one was half price since I was buying the other, a smaller grey one which I already have in green.

Now I really am going to bed, yay sleep =]

There are both upper and nether springs.  They are springs, not stagnant pools.  There are joys and blessings that flow from above through the hottest summer and the most desert land of sorrow and trial.   The lands of Achsah were “south lands,” lying under a burning sun and often parched with burning heat.  But from the hills came the unfailing springs, that cooled, refreshed and fertilized all the land.

There are springs that flow in the low places of life, in the hard places, in the desert places, in the lone places, in the common places, and no matter what may be our situation, we can always find these upper springs.

Abraham found them amid the hills of Canaan.  Moses found them among the rocks of Midian.  David found them among the ashes of Ziklag when his property was gone, his family captives and his people talked of stoning him, but “David encouraged himself in the Lord.”

Isaiah found them in the awful days of Sennacherib’s invasion, when the mountains seemed hurled into the midst of the sea, but faith could sing:  “There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God.  God is in the midst of her: she shall not be moved.”

The martyrs found them amid the flames, and reformers amid their foes and conflicts, and we can find them all the year if we have the Comforter in our hearts and have learned to say with David:  “All my springs are in thee.”
