Acquiring ‘Hosts’ from a Nazarene Temple A Practical Guide to ‘Host Heisting

Acquiring ‘Hosts’ from a Nazarene Temple

A Practical Guide to ‘Host Heisting’

Introduction

Acquiring ‘hosts’ from a Nazarene place of worship is an important task in the grade work of the Initiate. It is also a delightfully sinister sport that we will refer to here as “host heisting”. In the process of a host heist, the Initiate gets a chance to practice a number of stealth-related skills, such as sneaking in a building unseen, opening a fortified box, and lock-picking (though this skill is seldom needed for most Nazarene temples).

A host heist is also a profoundly heretical, blasphemous act for all followers of the Nazarene, particularly the ‘Catholic’ ones. It is an act that, upon discovery, causes deep trauma and profoundly disturbs the Nazarene world-view. So much so that most parishes that have undergone a host heist will not even report it to the police, or even the members of their congregation. It is upon realizing that their parish has suffered ‘a Satanic attack’ that these poor Nazarene sheep get a taste of presenced darkness.

This guide will attempt to elucidate the details of a successful host heist.

1. Select.

To experience a successful host heist, you must, needless to say, select a parish that carries a regular stock of ‘consecrated’ hosts in its tabernacle (the typically fortified/locked box at the front of the temple, behind the altar, often veiled). The best Nazarene temples to find such bland delicacies are those under the ‘Catholic’, ‘Episcopal’, or ‘High Anglican’ banners. Some other Nazarene sects may engage in eucharistic ceremonies on Easter Sunday, depending on their liturgy.

Another important factor in choosing a Nazarene temple to heist is its size. Large cathedrals are typically very secure, making it much more difficult (and thereby, more of a challenge) than smaller parish churches in the country, or public chapels. Although this is not a fixed rule. Some large Nazarene temples are seldom ever locked, while some small churches and chapels may be locked down in disuse or distrust.

A daytime walk around the prospective temple may help you assess its difficulty. In the end, your Temple or sinister tribe (if you belong to one) may assign you to a particular Nazarene place of worship as a blooding/hazing rite.

2. Prepare.

Once you’ve chosen your target, prepare yourself. The best time to go host heisting is (naturally) at night, though nothing is stopping you from doing it any other time of the day.

The key in preparing is going in light. Wear light, dark clothing. Cover your hands, and face for optimal invisibility. Hide all your tattoos. Bring a light weapon. Bring a container for the hosts. A flashlight is useful. You may want to bring a few hand tools, such as flat screwdriver, and a claw hammer.

When the time has come, emerge a predator. You will be an agent of the Prince of Darkness this night. Do not fail, and strike fear in the hearts of the Nazarene sheep.

3. Enter.

If you are in possession of a car, do not park in the church’s parking lot. Rather, park a few blocks away, or further down the road. Absolutely shun mundanes.

When breaking in a Nazarene temple, you have several options: basement windows, side windows, back/side doors, and front doors. Often the front doors are not even locked, which makes entering their temple extremely easy. If you are entering during the summer months, you may be able to fit through a screened window. If you are skilled with a lock-pick, you can try picking the front-doors open. If you prefer rendering optimal damage to the temple, and trauma to the Nazarene sheep, you may opt to obliterate the front doors entirely, although that is not very stealthy, now is it?

Remember the old maxim: Where there is a will, there is a way. This is true during a host heist.

4. Heist.

Now to the heart of the deed: find the temple’s tabernacle and desecrate it. You should have no difficulty finding the tabernacle. As has been mentioned above, it is the locked/fortified box that is usually veiled and behind the altar.

Tabernacles vary in form. Some are a permanently installed within a ‘Tridentine altar’, while others are fixed on a table. Some are even portable, and small enough for you to carry back to your dwelling.

Here are some ways of forcing open a tabernacle:

Use your claw hammer to pry the hinges of the small panel off, if the tabernacle is made of wood.

Use your hammer to shatter the panel, if it is made of porcelain or some other heavy, yet breakable material.

Use your lock-pick to pick the simple lock through the panel’s keyhole.

Use your screwdriver to unscrew the top and/or side screws off the sides of the box, if the tabernacle is so fashioned.

Pick it up, and throw it from atop the inner balcony on the hard floor. The impact should eventually damage the tabernacle.

Once you’ve broken into the tabernacle, take every single host you find and throw them in your container.

A word on leaving a scene: Be blasphemous. Let them know they have suffered a Satanic aggression. You may opt to spray-paint something overtly dark and sinister on the tabernacle, altar cloth or cross. You may also choose to absolutely ravage the Nazarene temple, and leave no prisoners with their statues and symbols. The Nazarene sheep will take note of virtually everything you’ve done. The greater the damage, the greater the uproar it will cause, the greater the attention to your deed, the greater the indignation and trauma it will rouse, the greater the risk… if you have any mind for the mundanes’ officers of the law.

There are no rules about host heisting preventing you from looting other things within the Nazarene temple. The Nazarene, it is well known, have a love for money… Their temples also carry wine, gold, silver, coal bricks, incense, altar cloths, and some rather good robes in a variety of colors (white, blue, green, red, crimson, purple, and even pink) that would look much better with your Temple’s or tribe’s symbol on it. If you plan to loot more than just the hosts, come prepared: bring a backpack.

Remember to presence the dark.

5. Exit.

Once you are ready, exit the Nazarene temple and bask in the glory of your sinister deed. Exalt in the fire that burns within your loins. Do not leave a trace from the Nazarene temple to your dwelling. Once more, avoid any and all contact with mundanes until you are safely nestled in the comfort of your home.

Conclusion

No matter how humble in sinister value a host heist may be compared to the more advanced work of the Order of Nine Angles (i.e., culling of opfers), it is nevertheless an effective way for beginners to experience a preliminary taste of the heresy promoted by true Satanism. This guide was in no way designed (or intended) to be a perfect one, nor one that would hold your little hand while you perform an illegal act. This guide was meant to point the way, give you a clearer idea of what “the acquisition of ‘hosts’ from a Nazarene place of worship” consists of, and as such, we deem this guide a success.

To cut the long story short, I lost my phone. Again. But this post will not be offered as a eulogy t

To cut the long story short, I lost my phone. Again.

But this post will not be offered as a eulogy to that SGH-E590, but as an effort to track my reactions to the incident, or the apparent lack of it. The supposedly uncaring attitude I have over my possessions bothers my colleagues so.

I did not feel angry or anxious when I found out my phone got stolen. I know who took it–it was some random crook in the MRT. A thief in a white plain shirt, who alighted in Cubao from a crowded train. I felt the string of my cellphone pouch go out of my pocket just as he passed by, but I never checked immediately. I was too dumbstruck, and just looked at him go out of the car.

Sayonara, Mr. Pro.

The first thought in my head was this: that the guy was good, though he’s brazen. That I’m a spy, and I just got outwitted. Although he failed to perfect the craft of thievery, he achieved his goal of robbing me of my Samsung.

As the train was leaving the station, I touched my pocket and found the two-week old phone gone. I got it free from my postpaid line, and it only worried me that I might be paying the bill for nothing for the next 20 months of the contract.

So I picked up my old 2g Motorola, who supposedly was sitting just seconds ago beside the Samsung, and called my Sun number. I heard a ring, two, then three, and the line went dead. Next, I sent it an SMS message asking politely that it be returned fast.

Then I called my great great brother, who assured me all was fine. He told me I should call the phone again, and check the MRT floors if I just dropped it there.

I saw no phone when the passengers cleared by the Guadalupe station. I immediately rode back to Boni because I was running late.

I then ran to the nearest Sun Shop to ask what my options were. Good thing I did not have to pay the phone’s full price–I just paid 150 pesos for a new sim that has my stolen number, thereby canceling the old account. They told me I just have to buy a new phone for it.

And that was the end, and I moved on. No more phone, no more worries.

***

This is the part where I try to squeeze the juice from the incident. Welcome to the moral of the story.

One, I should always listen to Lucas Roulle. In the crowded train minutes before the heist, I heard his voice telling me that I should guard my cellphone. I was reading an almanac then, and I ignored it. Little did I know that my angel was right.

Two, I should be cautious of my things. Before, I always bragged that nothing had been robbed of me yet, and that I was always alert for that to happen. Now I know I’m alert enough, because I knew at the precise moment that somebody was taking my phone out of my pocket. But along with it came the realization that the lapses in my head were real.

I have a feeling Lucas looks like this.

Lapses. Instead of running after the thief, I let him go without raising a ruckus. Instead of worrying about my lost phone, I moved on so fast it felt nothing happened at all. It’s just a phone, I said. Easily replaced.

Never mind that it costs 7xxx pesos in the market, and that it has a 3MP photo and video camera that I can use for my job. So he took it, and I was not angry at him at all. Let him have it.

If this happened on the same date last year, I would have stayed angry the whole day. Those days, rage ruled. Not now though. The events of the past year allowed me to learn to cradle peace in myself, such that I can honestly say I don;t bear a grudge against the thief.

I’m just sad he’s so lost.

JCVD: shows two perspectives of a post office robbery that Van Damme’s involved in… but this isn’t like any other film he’s done. He basically plays himself, in real life. To keep it realistic there’s not much action or explosives outside the opening scene – which is a self-referencing parody – and the DVD box. It’s pretty much an anti ‘Van Damme’ film; foreign language, with subtitles and genuinely clever & complex subject matter. To confuse us further it comments on his life, fame, the media, drug use, his filmography, similar actors and the movie business in general. Above this, Van Damme puts on a sensational performance, peaking with a 6-minute long single-cut soliloquy with his heart on his sleeve – which you absolutely do not expect. Above that it’s shot and executed brilliantly, with stylish visuals and editing. People that don’t ‘get it’ will think it’s just a crap action film, which is no doubt the reason it went straight to DVD. It’s self-indulgent, but it totally blew me away is it was less than 1% what I expected. Damme good viewing!! (Sorry)

Score: 7.5/10

Keanu Reeves tries to step away from a bro called Ted, to acting more serious playing a cop named Jo

Keanu Reeves tries to step away from a bro called Ted, to acting more serious playing a cop named Johnny Utah. Let the laughter begin.

Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves), is a rookie FBI agent and former Ohio State quarterback who, with his partner Angelo Pappas (Gary Busey), is investigating a string of bank robberies. Suspecting a connection between the bank robbers?known as the Ex-Presidents because they use masks of former US presidents?and local surfers, Utah goes undercover to infiltrate the surfing community.

The film sounds like a self-parody in itself(bank robbers who are actually surfers}, but it is anything but. It is a very exciting thriller, that features great scenes of action filled with a feel of mystery to it all.

The action scenes are surely the high point of this film. There are action scenes such as ones that are in the air, or there is one that is a chasescene through the slums of LA. Both are filmed with each amount of excitement and never get confusing of who is where.

The film does something very extradionary with having many categories put into one. It can be described as an action film, heist move, or simply a thriller. This is also groundbreaking because it is one of the first “extreme sports” movies.

The only problem I did have with this film is that although, I will agree he is the man, at some points it seems that Keanu Reeves just acts like hes reading lines that came from a script and not really fully thinking about them and acting them out. Though Swayze, as usual, gives another great iconic performance.

Though this movie takes a lot of crticism for being dumb I think it is still a great thrill ride to watch and it is a very awesome story to be a part of. At points its so mindless that it’s great to watch.

The ending is great and if you fully understand it you will be thinking the same thing.

9/10=Full Price!!!

So, it’s about to hit mid-October, not quite time to pull out the woolly hat yet, but come November,

So, it’s about to hit mid-October, not quite time to pull out the woolly hat yet, but come November, you may have to. It’s time to start thinking about it. So here, is my top 5, with a couple of styles taken into consideration…

1. Polo Ralph Lauren Black Ribbed Merino Beanie

You cannot really go wrong with a basic Ralph Lauren. Unless of course, it’s fake. If so, go back to sitting in your room and playing CoD4, as you can’t afford CoD5 you cheapskate.

This basic black woolly hate comes with a purple embroidered signature crest at the front of the hat. Pretty simple, pretty effective. £30 from My-Wardrobe.

2. Lyle & Scott Tipped Hat

Lyle & Scott are becoming a bit TOO common for my liking. Like Ralph Lauren, too many people jumping on the bandwagon, and buying fakes. But this little beanie hat has quite impressed me. I like the blue trim the hat has on the ‘dove grey’ as it’s described. Not too pricey at £29. Available at End Clothing.

3. King Apparel ID Earflap Beanie

Originally, I chose the blue version of this as number 3 in the top 5, but I’ve come to the decision of the black version. Over the past couple of years, since the arrival of N-Dubz, this sort of hat has been given the nickname ‘Dappy Hat’. Everyone from your little cousin, to the goons in the corner of the playground has one now. One of the reasons I’ve included this hat. Just incase you wanted a ‘Dappy Hat’ this winter. Bargain at only £11.99 from King Apparel. Don’t forget to check out the alternative version in blue!

4. Stussy Stars & Stripes Beanie

I said I’d include a couple of varieties of hats, so, here’s the bobble hat. The grey hat with a mixture of orange and white knitted into it. This has to be one of the best bobble hats I’ve seen in a while. I’m not a HUGE fan of them myself. Check out Adidas’ version this year, and you’ll find out why… Like the rest of the hats, close to the £30 mark at £28 for this hat. Purchase from Urban Industry.

5. Brixton Heist Beanie

Last, but not least, the basic beanie hat. Everyone has to have one, and it has to be a nice one at least. Here we have the Brixton Heist Beanie in the Charcoal colour. Not much to write about this one. It’s so simple, yet effective. Only £15, another number ready to buy at Urban Industry.

Memory is really strange. It’s almost another level of existence, and I’ve had good experience of those thanks to the use of substances of less than legal status. I can’t help but remember the strange events I have been witness to (and part of), but when I attempt to remember something important that needs to be recalled I’m left stranded. Things slip away like sand through my fingers, and I really hope that it isn’t a sign of early onset dementia.

My screwed up memories consist mainly of the everyday, but therein lies the problem. Did I have breakfast this morning? I’m not sure. Did I remember to unpack the groceries? Gee… I would have to go downstairs to check for sure, but I really don’t know. It has been like this for a few months, and I’m sure that it is down to the constant level of stress, walking, and a workload that just won’t quit.

My brains are turning to shit.

Waitasec. Before you start commiserating and hoping that I can get my brain in gear soon, think about this for a second. I can live in the moment without trying. This moment – right now – is all that really exists. I can drag up random events if need be, but I’m now able to box off the insane stuff and concentrate on writing and having a bit of fun. The extra hours in the day that I have thanks to insomnia are now being put to use.

I’m not sure how it is going to manifest in my NaNo scribbles, but I’m sure I can zone the world out for an hour and come up with a bucket o’ genius from the well of subconscious. Maybe I’ll manage to find Hoffa while I’m down there – there’s all sorts been chucked down that particular hole in the ground. Hell, I’ll probably resurface with the basis for a full novel if I try really hard. Not sayin’ it’ll be readable, still…

The one specific chunk of weirdness which keeps reappearing on the back of my eyes is the memory of an old film. Or maybe it was a television show… I can remember a blind guy standing at the top of some stairs, and a girl (his daughter perhaps) arriving at the house. Then he falls down the stairs. That’s it. The sum total of memories from a specific film. It has happened like this a lot recently, and I’m not 100% sure I didn’t just make it up.

Does that fucking film even exist? Not sure.

I also have a chunk of a novel stuck in my memory banks concerning a heist which is endlessly discussed, but no actual robbery takes place. Though I may have simply stopped reading after a certain point in the book, or lost the book. It’s not like I keep a great record of my day-to-day activities, and lots of stuff slips through the cracks. Maybe having a log of my activities – a diary possibly – would be a good idea.

Only… I would never write in the important stuff. It would just be another thing, like this blog – which details my frustrations, annoyances, meanderings and crazy-ass nonsense – to fill in daily. I would never manage to keep to the purpose of the excercise. It would be a new definition of pointlessness. I did try, several years ago, to keep a diary. It was the early nineties, and became a critique of the television I watched rather than anything useful.

I can’t stay on-track for more than a short time. It isn’t a fault, and it certainly isn’t a strength, it just is. Some people can stay focused in on things, others can’t. Somehow, despite the wonderful tools and technologies that exist, there is little that can keep me from having the occasional brain-fart. Yes, that is the technical term – I looked it up.

By the time I hit the ‘Publish’ button, I’ll probably have forgotten that I posted this.

"What am I going to do with all these Chinese acrobats now?" Italian Prime Minister Silvio

"What am I going to do with all these Chinese acrobats now?"

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is to abandon plans for an Ocean’s Eleven-style heist, after Italy’s Constitutional Court overturned a law granting him immunity from prosecution while in office.

Mr. Berlusconi was reported to be despondent today after the judgement, which could see him stand trial on several counts of corruption. But sources close to the controversial Premier say this is not the principal cause of his gloom: instead, Berlusconi is ruing his missed chance to pull off ‘the big one’ by raiding Italy’s biggest casino, the Casino de la Vallée di Saint-Vincent.

“He was really looking forward to it,” the Prime Minister’s associate, Gianluca ‘Fingers’ Manotti told us told us. ‘He had this big plan and everything — he spent weeks perfecting it. But it kind of depended on him being able to do basically whatever he wanted without fear of recrimination. Otherwise it would just be a bunch of guys going into a casino and taking all the money, which is still illegal under Italian law.”

Another source, speaking to us earlier today, expressed concern for the effect the ruling would have on the day-to-day running of the country.

“Silvio was counting on staying above the law for the remainder of his tenure as Prime Minister, so this is a real blow,” said Luigi ‘Babyface’ Scarlatti. “The wheels of Italian politics need to be greased, and a Prime Minister who can’t just get away with doing whatever the hell he feels like will be seriously limited. This decision can only lead to a lamentable decrease in the number of bribes and backhanders handed out to witnesses, corrupt lawyers and enraged parents. Plus it means we can’t hit that casino like we wanted.” Mr Scarlatti paused for a moment, looking wistfully into the distance.

“Man, that would’ve been a big score,” he added, with a sigh.

Mr. Berlusconi now plans to take a short holiday to recover from the shock of the court’s decision. Reports suggest that the Prime Minister will be accompanied by the ministers for the Environment, Equal Opportunities and Tourism, all of whom will be bringing their bikinis.

Follow the link to a summary of the (so-far) successful bank robbery in Sweden, that reads more like an action film than a real-life robbery. Here’s the best part, from the CNN report:

Swedish police couldn’t pursue the thieves because a bag marked “bomb” had been placed outside the police heliport, and officers had to deal with the bag before they could enter the heliport. It is unclear whether the bag contained a bomb.

Earlier this September 10 Prints from Andy Warhol’s “Athlete Series” were stolen in Los Angeles from the home of Richard Weisman, whom personally commissioned the series from Warhol and chose the athletes. There is a $1 Million Dollar reward for information leading to the recovery of the works. Weisman offered this explanation for having commissioned the works, “I felt that putting this series together was a natural in that two of the most popular leisure time activities at that time were sports and art, yet to my knowledge they had no direct connection,” Weisman said. “I therefore thought that having Andy Warhol do the series would inspire people who loved sports to come into galleries, maybe for the first time, and people who liked art would take their first look at a sports superstar.”

By Michael MacLeod TWO prostitutes who robbed a post office of £11,000 in a fake hostage heist have

By Michael MacLeod

TWO prostitutes who robbed a post office of £11,000 in a fake hostage heist have been jailed.
Linda Brown, 25, and Kelly Urquhart, 30, claimed they were “bullied and coerced” into the raid by their now-dead pimp.

Brown pretended to be a customer looking for stamps when Urquhart and gang-leader Adrian Brosnan burst through the door and threatened to harm the pretend customer.

He and Urquhart demanded money from the terrified post-office worker, Alexander Brydon, who was looking after the shop for his ill brother.

They made off from the Edinburgh post officer with thousands of pounds in cash, but were caught driving towards the Forth Road Bridge after witnesses alerted police.

Jailing Brown for 10 months and Urquhart for a year at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday (Thurs), Sheriff William Holligan said prison was “unavoidable.”

The pair, both mothers from Aberdeen, fully admitted their involvement in the November 12 raid at Blackhall post office.

The shop’s phone lines were cut ahead of the raid, which Sheriff Holligan previously deemed as “clearly pre-meditated.”

Balaclava

Stand-in postmaster Alexander Brydon was cashing up at the Marischal Place post office when Brown entered and asked for some stamps.

Depute fiscal Alasdair MacLeod said: “At that point Brosnan entered the shop wearing a balaclava and headed straight for Brown.

“Urquhart then held the door open in case there was an automatic lock, while Brosnan held Brown in a headlock.

“He indicated that she would come to harm if Mr Brydon didn’t hand over money, at which point Brown began to scream.”

They took the money and ran from the shop to a waiting Mitsubishi Colt car, while the fake hostage Brown calmly walked out after them.

The shocked shopkeeper pleaded with her to stay to give evidence to police, but she ignored him and caught up with her gang.

Suspected suicide

Onlookers called police after spotting Brosnan putting the cash into a pouch in his jacket pocket before leaving in the getaway car.

Police set up a trap on the A90 on Cramond Brig and stopped, searched and arrested all involved.

Brosnan was never traced or charged before his death, a suspected suicide, in May this year.

Mr MacLeod added: “Miss Brown told police she had met Brosnan just a week before the robbery and that she and her friend Urquhart worked for him as prostitutes and owed him a drug debt.

“Mr Brydon, the man who was running the shop, was left shaken by this robbery, the post office is blaming him for the loss of the money as there is no CCTV.

“All this while his brother is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.”

Both Brown and Urquhart claim they didn’t gain any money from the robbery.

Brown’s defence agent Ross Gardner said: “She intends to use the time in custody as usefully as possible.

“Her period in remand meant she was able to see where her life was leading here.

“There have been a number of low points in her life but she doesn’t seem to be wallowing.

“She has a tragic background herself, as a mother of three children who are in care.”

Urquhart’s agent, Peter Shepherd, added: “She became involved with a now deceased person who bullied her, insulted her and coerced her into involving herself in this.”

Sheriff Holligan previously told them: “This was very clearly a pre-meditated robbery, although there appears to be an unfortunate history for both.”

Jailing the pair yesterday, he said: “These are serious matters – to be involved in a robbery – and in my view a custodial sentence is unavoidable.”

When Dane Cook talks about having a trained monkey driving the getaway van from a bank heist, I get a little excited. I know exactly what he’s talking about. So, when the Wall Street Journal ran an article about masked men escaping with boat-loads of cash from a stolen helicopter, I got giddy.

That’s right, there are people actually pulling off grand Ocean’s Eleven style heists. If that doesn’t deserve some rocking out recognition, I don’t know what does.

He is the youngest person to be accused of robbing a bank that many in this mid-western US town can

He is the youngest person to be accused of robbing a bank that many in this mid-western US town can remember, and now he could end up spending a good chunk of his life behind bars.

A judge in the juvenile court, noting the premeditation and the “extremely aggressive” manner in which Denote Moore, 13, pointed an unloaded handgun at several bank tellers last month, ordered his case be moved to adult court.

The mid-day heist on April 13 shocked many in this Rust Belt city.

Sheriff Michael McCoy said Moore was the youngest person to be arrested for bank robbery in his 37 years on the force. A prosecutor said he could not remember another such case in his 19 years of work.

The move means a potential prison sentence for Moore of 21 to 45 years.

Had the case remained in the juvenile courts, Moore’s imprisonment would have ended on his 21st birthday.

The robbery occurred at about 11:35 am.

Moore was arrested within 30 minutes after hiding in a garage only a few blocks away from the bank. His clothing was stained red from a dye pack that had exploded in the pillow case where tellers had put the money.

Moore told police he thought he had been shot, hearing the pop and seeing a big puff of red smoke.

The teen told police he had run away from home a month earlier and was stealing to get money for “clothing and stuff.”

Illinois law allows a juvenile to be tried as an adult if he or she is older than 13 and a judge finds “it is not in the best interest of the public” for the minor to remain in the juvenile justice system. Moore will turn 14 next month.

The judge, noting Moore was on probation and failed to comply with counselling and missed several appointments with his probation officer, found the boy to be a poor candidate to work with officials further.

An estimated 200,000 juveniles are tried, sentenced or incarcerated as adults every year in the United States, according to the Campaign for Youth Justice.

An average of 7,500 juveniles are incarcerated in adult jails at any given time and 40 states allow youths charged as adults to be held in adult jails while they wait for their case to be heard.
