Everything has a way of getting worse before it can ever become better.  For the former group known as Dipset, war between Cam’Ron and Jim Jones continues to draw more lines in the sand which should not dare to be crossed.

It was reported earlier that Cam’Ron had officially dissolved the brand known as Dipset and claimed that the set was over indefinitely.

Jim Jones, however, may see things a completely different light than his former friend as he responded saying that Cam’Ron does not have the power to shut down the movement.  Speaking on Shade 45’s Lip Service, Jones issued a word of advice to Killa.

“You gotta watch what you say as being one person because if someone was to take that personal, it could get ugly.”

He also added an invitation to those that might have a problem with him saying that he is Dipset and the fact that it was far more than a group.  His history growing up shows that he was part of the movement way before the music even started to flow.

“Whoever don’t like it, I said it, I’m Dipset.  I been Dipset.  Dipset started in the projects, 5H, and ain’t nobody get me out of 5H but myself.  They raided the apartment, me and Uncle Ricky, 600 bundles of dope, what’s up? That’s what we was doing in the projects.  Nobody got me out of that.  Dipset is ours.”

Jones also took the time to poke jabs at Cam by referencing his last Internet clip where Killa was in a grocery store and Capo stated that his words are not meant to build a buzz.

“This is not a publicity stunt.  I don’t go around sitting in shopping carts and things like that.  I go around getting money.  If it’s a problem, there’s a thin line between love and hate.”

It feels as though everything is continuing to crumble in slow motion for The Diplomats and Harlem has become divided as long as Jim Jones and Cam’Ron remain on opposite sides.

The fat lady is singing her a** off right now as words from Killa Cam have apparently hammered the final nail into the coffin in regards to his former set known as The Diplomats.

Questions have continued to arise about the camp and fans have continued to keep their fingers crossed hoping that Harlem would shake the foundation of music again.

With alleged reports of Hell Rell filing a lawsuit against Jim Jones to a rift between Killa and Juelz stirring from Santana’s supposed addiction to syrup, Dipset has seen too many low points to even see the light to climb from the pit.

Speaking with Maybach TV, Killa spoke on the situation with the set and how people have had misconceptions about his place in the group.

“When I shake somebody’s hand, this is what you see [Diplomats tattoo].  The only thing that bothers me is when niggas be like, ‘Oh, so you can be down with Dipset?  They gon put you back down?  How can you put somebody back down with something that they own?”

Aligned with Harlem rapper Vado, Byrd Lady, Felony Fame and Rod Rhaspy, Cam has continued to moved on with the new group, reportedly called The U.N.  His split from Jones and Santana also allowed the rapper to branch out and create Killa Entertainment.

Teaming up with DJ Drama, he recently released the mixtape, Boss Of All Bosses which features his new acts.

Cam recently appeared alongside the Clipse for the music video to “Popular Demand” off the upcoming album Til the Casket Drops which is slated for December 8. 

One question that comes up is where is the rapper’s relationship with in terms of Damon Dash?  With Dash on the verge of releasing a new compilation album, there has been word of him working with the likes of Jones, Mos Def and even Raekwon, but there hasn’t even been a stir or any reference to the two in some time.

Maybe everything wasn’t meant to last forever.  A brief moment of silence to lay the movement down for the final time.

Dipset’s Freekey Zekey has weighed in on associate Hell Rell’s recent claims of being owed money by E-1 Music (formerly Koch Records) and said the rapper should pay homage to his Diplomat roots.

While saying he still has a relationship with Rell, Freekey also said Dipset placed him in a position where he is able to file a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

“The Hell Rell joint, I mean, yeah, I f*ck with Rell but he needs to get his sh*t straight,” Zeek said in an interview. “As far as him trying to sue motherf*ckers, we the reason why you can even say your name is Hell Rell. You gotta understand where you came from n*gga. Sh*t goes up, sh*t goes down and you gonna be mad when some sh*t don’t go your way? N*ggas put you in a situation for you to pop. I’m still doing what I got to do, keeping myself way above water, sometimes I need to parachute myself down below the clouds. You shouldn’t say you’re gonna sue this, sue that and you wouldn’t even say none of that if it wasan’t for us, you wouldn’t be able to sue nothing.. Only person who might know is the little Chinese lady from the Chinese food store named Sue.” (Gil Videos)

Speaking in an interview last month, Ruggah Rell said E-1 Music has not paid him for the profits he helped them generate through the retail release of his music.

“I do have a lawsuit, on the Internet they’re trying to make it seem like I’m suing Jim Jones or whatever, whatever, it’s nothing like that,” Hell Rell promised. “At the end of the day, we not no sucker n*ggas…I don’t want the people to think I’m suing Jim Jones, nah, the issue is with Koch [now called E1 Music]. I done helped made Koch $10 million. Y’all listening to me? I done helped Koch Records gross $10 million collectively with all the projects, so, they was playing games with my money. I don’t have time for that dumb sh*t. At the end of the day, [Koch Records General Manager] Allan [Grunblatt] wasn’t keeping it official, man. I told Allan, ‘Are you serious? All this money I done made you? And y’all gonna play games?’ And they were doing little sucker sh*t like taking my songs and re-releasing ‘em with other projects and sh*t like that…Y’all ain’t gonna pimp me, I do the pimpin’.” (EMI/Money Maker)

Early reports said Hell’s lawsuit included Jones and other E1 Music imprints.

The lawsuit, which was filed in New York County Court, claims that Jim Jones, Koch, Tycoon Entertainment Babygrande Records and E1 cheated him out of royalties. Hell Rell signed with Koch/E1 in 2007 and released one album for the label, Hell Up in Harlem. That album was followed with 2008’s Black Mask, Black Gloves, which was released via the mom & pop label, Babygrande Records. (All Hip Hop)

Rell previously called out Jim Jones and Juelz Santana for the “tarnished” Dipset image as of late and their usage of auto-tune on records.

“Shout-out to my n*gga Cam,” Rell said in an on-street interview. “At the end of the day, after he closed the books, I pretty much went with my group which is Top Gunnas. Because we all know that Jim f*cked the [Dip]set up. He just f*cked the whole ’set up. Denying the phone call, Cam called him, said he didn’t call him. He jumped on [Funkmaster] Flex and said he did call him. A whole bunch of bullsh*t like, f*cking up money man. That sh*t just had me mad man. I’m like come on man, you serious? Then he go out on Summer Jam, him and [Juelz] Santana, I love the movement, you know I love the ’set, but they just tarnishing the name. They just f*cking this sh*t up. You know what I mean, everything that we built. That auto-tune sh*t ain’t us…Never was Dipset music, so all that other sh*t it’s just getting out of hand man.
