Morning Musume will release their 42nd single next February 10, 2010, this single will be the first one after Kusumi Koharu Graduation. The name of the single is: “Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai” [Why girls can't be eye catchy] The best Luck to my favorite girls!!!

Yes, this will be a post about the lovely Airi Suzuki of C-ute and Buono! She is my FAVORITE H!P member, without a doubt! I wouldn’t call myself the biggest fan because I don’t buy any of the photobooks or t-shirts, but I sure wish I could…!!! I hope to someday have a room full of stuff dedicated to her and meet her one day!!

Haha, this sometimes seems very strange since I’m a woman and also since I’m three or so years older than her XD! She still inspires me a lot, though. She is very energetic on the stage and has this wonderful personality!! She’s a wonderful idol, I hope to be like her one day!!

Isn’t she just the cutest thing ever??? Seriously, what I would GIVE to meet her and watch her live, especially with C-ute since I love those 5 girls so much!! And for those who are kind of annoyed with the fact that she got like, two solo songs in the newest C-ute single (seems like, anyway), well, what do you expect? She’s the most popular!! And C-ute is down to 5!! The used to be 7 or crying out loud!! They have to try to do SOMETHING to keep the fans going, and Airi is the prime of the group, the diamond in he rough!! I mean, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE MaiMai and Chisa, and Nakki is getting much better now too, but Airi’s pretty much the bread winner… lol

Just as i can’t understand the love of Ai, i don’t expect you to understand my love of Sayu. there’s nothing about her i don’t like. her imperfect skin just confirms the fact she;s human and not, infact, a goddess.

#2: JunJun!

She’s shot way, way up in my list recently.
She’s so interesting, and she’s gorgeous, i used to really hate both her and linlin after yossie graduated cause i felt that they somehow, had replaced her. but then i grew up. I’ve always preferred her over LinLin. Lin2’s eyes scare me!

#3/#4: toss up between Kamei Eri and Mitsui Aika

I keep getting flamed for liking aika but i can’t help it! the most i look at her, the cuter she gets! she can be totally retarded beyond compare but she’s cute too. and Koharu was pretty retarded and everyone liked her.
she’s gona up since Platinum 9 pics.
Eri, because she’s eri. amazing vouice, amazing body, amazing PBs…. she’s hawt. and you know it.

#5: Niigaki Risa

i don’t dislike gaki, i just prefer the girls in front.
i’ve never had a huge liking for gaki really. but Momusu certainly wouldn’t be what it is without her.

#6: LinLin

not a huge fan of LinLin, there’s something about her eyes that scare me…. and i’m just not that impressed with her. she does have an amazing voice though, that can’t be denyed.

#7: Tanaka Reina

meh…. Reina is the member i want to like but just can’t be bothered to jump on the huge reina bandwagon….. not bothered about her really.

#8 Takahashi Ai

she’s a good leader but i don’t see the fasciation with her. no thanks!

#1 Tokunaga Chinami

i LOVE Chinami. favourite member of BK by far! the others don’t compare. i used to think she was the weido kiddo with the huge grin and skinny legs. but now she’s gorgeous and amazing.

#2: Shimizu Saki

Captain, my Captain. <3 for the underdogs. XD

#3: Sudou Maasa

Awesome Maasa is awesome. enough said. she’s brilliant! XD

#4: Tsuganaga Momoko

aaahhh Momo, the only member of Berryz i don’t know how to feel about. i dunno, i feel like i should like her cause she’s so small and cute…. but i don’t really….. hmm

#5: Kumai Yurina

ditto with Yurina…. i don’t dislike her, i just prefer the others. i do like her voice though! ^_^

#6: Sugaya Risako

don’t like Risako, her voice is like a vocal rollercoaster and i just think she’s over-rated. sorry Risako fans!

#7: Natsuyaki Miyabi

don’t like Miya either. i think she’s over-rated and over used and needs to step aside for lesser members like Captain and Yurina. get more lines in Buono! where you’re liked.

Now, C-ute:

#1: Suzuki Airi

i love airi, she’s awesome in c-ute and even awesomer in Buono! she is lusssshhhhhh

#2: Hagiwara Mai

Mai is amazing, she has a great voice and she’s cute to boot. and now she’s growing up i’m allowed to say she’s hott! XD

#3: Nakajima Saki

dude! nakki is teh awesomez.
all the girls in c-ute are getting gorgeous as they get older and nakki is no exception. she’s amazing as many of you alreayd know. and deserves all the thumbs up i can give!

#4: Okai chisato

The koharu of c-ute. she’s like a puppy, mad and excitable. at least she doesn’t pee on the rug!

#5 Yajima Maimi

it’s not that i dislike maimi…. she’s alright. she can sing. but i think she’s over used (says the airi fan). i just like the other girls more than her.

2009 was the year that was … in photobooks. It was a year that saw the Face of AKB get her first, while the Miracle of Momusu got her last, with a whole lot of bikini surprises in between. These are the ten that made their mark.

1. Koharu Kusumi – Sugar Doll

I will say this: If Koharu hadn’t graduated this year, this probably would have ranked second. But placed in the context of current events, this photobook (and accompanying DVD) elevates itself to the level of an era-defining masterpiece—not merely Koharu’s best, but one of Hello! Project’s best. It is an unforgettable farewell performance, a glossy hardcover memento of everything Koharu is and was to Morning Musume. We watched her grow from a gawky prepubescent girl to a stunning young woman, and she left us with a parting gift that fans will treasure (and fap to) forever.

2. AKB48 – Bikini Surprise! [actual title is a little bit different, but come ON, I totally called it on teh H!I blog]

If #1 goes to Morning Musume’s miracle member saying goodbye, then the very next spot must go to AKB48’s uncountable multitudes saying Y HALO THAR. True, there had been other AKB group photobooks. There had been other swimsuit-laden AKB solo photobooks. And technically, this is a mook. But it was the first to integrate everything into a 21-member (and MOAR!) droolfest. It’s the perfect calling card from AKB48’s star lineup of Heisei-era girls, babies of the 90’s who have grown up in a modern age where swimsuit gravure is not a mark of shame, but an empowering act of girls having fun. (Unless you’re Jurina Matsui, wtf.)

3. Yuki Kashiwagi – Ijou, Kashiwagi Yuki Deshita

In the meantime, of course, many of AKB48’s members continued to release solo photobooks this year, but none was quite as fappable as Longcat’s debut effort. Other members are more popular, or more daring, but it is Yukirin’s natural genetic gifts that put her over the top—I mean, with a freakishly tiny waist like that and a surprisingly shapely bust for a girl of her proportions, she can make ANY swimsuit look good. Front view. Side view. Rear view. Standing. Sitting. Lying down. Oh dear.

4. Momoko Tsugunaga – Momochiiii

But before anyone infers that I have some kind of skinny girl fetish (well maybe I do), let me also say that Momoko Tsugunaga scored a coup for short girls everywhere with her fourth. I think of this one as kind of a companion piece to Momo no Mi, an extension of Momoko’s naturally playful mood and her do-me-NAO hotness that simply could not be contained within the covers of her 3rd photobook and spilled over into another volume. She is also the reason why you will not see Risou on this list, because, for all of Risako Sugaya’s curves, it is Momo’s infectious personality that triumphs above all.

5. Erena Ono – Kirakira

You know, I recently heard that there was going to be a Miho Miyazaki photobook. *droooool* And I suppose Mayu Watanabe can’t be far behind. But such achievements could not have been possible without the great loli pioneer, Erena Ono, whose sophomore offering made unsuspecting pedobears go FFFFFFFFF and furtively check outside for Chris Hansen’s party van. And WHY must she always do at least one photo where she’s stripping off her shirt?! If this were Modern Warfare 2, Erena Ono would be like that one dude who keeps running around killing you and you don’t realize until too late that he’s actually racked up a 25-kill streak and calls in the tactical nuke and it’s like, GAME OVER MAN!!!! GAME OVER!!

6. °C-ute – Alo! Hello °C-ute

Okai, so, let me just say that, by reviewing this photobook, I’ve covered °C-ute’s entire output for the year. If you really want, U MAY refer to the supplementary material and enjoy Yajima’s stunning maidenliness in Maimi 17, or drool over Airi being Airi in just about everything Aoiro, or thrill to the natural beauty that is Nacky, or stamp your pedobear seal of approval on Maimai’s first. But no book collects that all in one spot the way that °C-ute’s Alo-Hello! does, which is how you do a freaking Alo-Hello!, not that puritanical disappointment that was Berryz Koubou. PLUS, for all you people of odd tastes, you get Chisapuppy in a bikini.

7. Yuko Oshima – Yuko no Arienai Nichijou

Even before anyone got their sweaty hands on a copy of Oshima’s late-2009 photobook, she had already stirred up a flurry of conversation (and busy right hands) when previews of her infamous topless photos hit the newsstands. And it’s not like it was Atsuko-Maeda-in-a-massage-parlor (see below) topless. This was Yuko tearing off her bikini top and having the freaking time of her life! And the amazing thing is that, the way she carries her goofy, fun-loving personality, you don’t feel like a bad person for checking her out. Yuko Oshima’s toplessness is not of the embarrassed “Noo~! Don’t look!” variety, but the kind where she wants you to join in the fun!

8. Yurina Kumai – Flowerage

Speaking of natural genetic gifts. Out of all the Hello! Project photobooks this year, I think there was no bigger surprise than supermodel-sized Yurina getting a second, because normally, background girls just get a single token photobook out of pity (hi Maasa! hi Chinami!) and that’s it. But Yurina, with her semi-front/back/depending-on-how-many-lines-in-the-verse status—not to mention the statuesque proportions, the maidenly charm, and the legs that go on forever—is just as deserving as any idol of continued photographic attention. (NOW WHERE THE HELL IS MIYABI’S SECOND.)

9. Atsuko Maeda – Hai

To understand the ranking of this photobook, you really have to understand the milieu at the time that this came out (January ‘09). It was months before the attention-wh0ring single “Let’s Throw Atsuko Maeda a Surprise Birthday Party” was released, her pretentious hairstyle change was still a ways off, and she hadn’t quite yet taken over every freaking gravure magazine in the country. It was a time when you knew she was AKB48’s lead girl, but she hadn’t reached the saturation point. We still wanted MOAR of Acchan. Like her cleavage. And her bare tummy. And her hipbones. And her thighs. And … oh my. I think I need a lie down.

10. Haruna Kojima – Kojiharu

We end this retrospective with one of the most paradoxical photobooks of 2009: a disappointment that was still deliciously cakey enough to place in the Top 10. Let’s put it this way: Haruna Kojima is a freakin’ babe. She is the only idol where I even collect random magazine pictures of her because she is just that hot. So why, oh why, did that page-searing hotness have to be wasted on a B5-sized softcover book produced by a photographer, hair and make-up team that seemed hellbent on distorting Kojima’s natural beauty? Still, after seeing what her creamy thighs and drop-dead curves are capable of in publications like Weekly Playboy, you can’t help but hope for a sequel that improves on the original.

Setelah sebelumnya Manoeri didaulat menjadi pemeran utama di sebuah drama Jepang yang berjudul “Hanbun Esper”, awal tahun ini Manoeri akan kembali  menjadi pemeran utama dalam TV drama baru milik Stasion TV TBS.

“Mano Erina, Berperan Sebagai Dirinya Sendiri Dalam Sitkom Perdananya”, setidaknya itulah judul dari artikel yang di muat di situs resmi Hochi Yomiuri. Adalah TBS, station televisi yang pada 26 Januari  2010 awal tahun mendatang akan menayangkan sebuat Sitkom yang berjudul “Mano Supai”, yang mana Mano Erina dipilih sebagai pemeran utama sekaligus berperan sebagai dirinya sendiri di Sitkom ini. Diceritakan didalamnya bahwa Mano Erina adalah seorang penyanyi sekaligus  mata-mata Inggris yang dikirim oleh Ratu Inggris. Di a menyatakan saat mendengarkan tawaran tersebut dia cukup terkejut, bahkan dia berkata “Saya bahkan tidak begitu tahu tentang mata-mata” namun dia mengaggap peran tersebut sangat “mengigit” (menantang).

Sebagai tambahan, di artikel tersebut juga di katakan bahwa, lagu Matsuge no Saki ni Kimi ga Iru akan menjadi theme song untuk dorama ini. lagu  ini merupakan lagu milik Manoeri yang bisa kita temukan di album pertama Manoeri “FRIENDS”.

What a shock, I hate C-ute’s newest single too.  Gosh, this is, what, eight singles in a row that I’ve disliked of theirs.  It’s not even worth putting up here.

And thus, I’ve officially decided what’s been unofficial for quite some time: I give up on C-ute.  I absolutely will not sit and watch Airi solo with all that amazing singing talent (read: everyone but NakaSaki) go to absolute waste.  I’ve hated the Airi and Maimi show since… it started.  I haven’t honestly liked a single one of their songs since “Tokaikko” except for “Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu.”

I’ll still watch their PVs to see if anything’s changed, but I highly doubt that unless new members are added that we’ll see a change in C-ute’s singles (line-wise).

So I suppose this is a very long coming farewell, C-ute.  You were awesome back in the day, and were the group that got me into Hello! Project.  Maybe someday you will be good again.  But I doubt it.
